水煮金花丸（洁古）
南星 半夏（各一两，俱生用） 天麻（五钱） 雄黄（二钱） 白面（三两）
上为细末，滴水为丸。每服五十丸至百丸，先煎浆水沸，下药煮令浮为度，漉出，淡
浆水浸，另用生姜汤下。
防风丸（《和剂》） 治一切风及痰热上攻，头痛恶心，项背拘急，目眩旋运，心怔烦闷，
手足无力，骨节疼痹，言语謇涩，口眼 动，神思恍惚，痰涎壅塞，昏愦健忘，虚烦少睡。
防风（洗） 川芎 天麻（去苗，酒浸一宿） 甘草（炙。各二两） 朱砂（半两，研，水飞）
上为末，炼蜜为丸，每两作十丸，以朱砂为衣。每服一丸，荆芥汤化服，茶、酒嚼下亦得，无时。
川芎丸（《和剂》） 消风壅，化痰涎，利咽膈，清头目。治头痛旋运，心忪烦热，颈项
紧急，肩背拘倦，肢体烦疼，皮肤瘙痒，脑昏目疼，鼻塞声重，面上游风，状如虫行。
川芎 龙脑薄荷叶（焙干。各七十五两） 桔梗（一百两） 甘草（ ，三十五两） 防风（去苗，二十
五两） 细辛（洗，五两）
上为细末，炼蜜搜和，每一两半分作五十丸。每服一丸，腊茶清细嚼下，食后、临卧。
化痰玉壶丸（见头痛。）
丹溪搜风化痰丸
人参 僵蚕 槐角 白矾 天麻 陈皮（去白） 荆芥（各一两） 半夏（四两，汤浸） 辰砂（半两）
上为末，姜汁浸蒸饼为丸，辰砂为衣。每服四十丸，姜汤下。
小黄丸（洁古） 治热痰咳嗽。
南星（汤洗） 半夏（汤洗） 黄芩（各一两）
上为细末，姜汁浸蒸饼为丸，桐子大。每服五七十丸，生姜汤下，食后。
小柴胡汤（见寒热。）
白术丸（洁古） 治湿痰咳嗽。
南星 半夏（各一两，俱汤洗） 白术（一两半）
上为细末，汤浸蒸饼为丸，如梧子大。每服五七十丸，食后生姜汤下。
玉粉丸（洁古） 治气痰咳嗽。
南星 半夏（各一两，俱汤洗） 橘皮（去白，二两）
上为细末，汤浸蒸饼为丸，如桐子大。每服五七十丸，人参、生姜汤下，食后。
桔梗汤（《和剂》） 除痰下气。治胸胁胀满，寒热呕哕，心下坚痞，短气烦闷，痰逆恶心，
饮食不下。
桔梗（细锉，微炒） 半夏（汤洗七次，姜汁制） 陈皮（去白。各十两） 枳实（麸炒赤黄色，五两）
上为粗末，每服二钱，水一中盏，入姜五片，同煎至七分，去滓，不拘时温服。
姜桂丸（洁古） 治寒痰咳嗽。
南星（洗） 半夏（洗） 官桂（去粗皮。各一两）
上为细末，蒸饼为丸，桐子大。每服三五十丸，生姜汤送下，食后。痰而能食，大
承气汤微下之；痰而不能食，浓朴汤主之。
胡椒理中丸（《和剂》） 治肺胃虚寒，气不宣通，咳嗽喘急，逆气虚痞，胸膈噎闷，胁
腹满痛，迫塞短气，不能饮食，呕吐痰水不止。
款冬花（去梗） 胡椒 甘草（炙） 荜茇 良姜 细辛（去苗） 陈皮（去白） 干姜（各四两） 白术（五两）
上为细末，炼蜜为丸，如梧子大。每服三十丸，加至五十丸，温汤、温酒、米饮任
服，无时，日二。
吴茱萸汤（仲景）
吴茱萸（一升，洗） 人参（三两） 生姜（六两，切） 大枣（十二枚，擘）
上四味，以水七升，煮取二升，去滓，温服七合，日三服。
桂苓术甘汤（见短气。） 十枣汤（见水肿。）
小胃丹
芫花（好醋拌匀过一宿，于瓦器内不住手搅炒令黑，不可焦） 甘遂（湿面裹，长流水浸半月，煮，晒
干） 大戟（长流水煮一时，再用水洗，晒干，各半两） 大黄（湿纸裹煨勿令焦，切，焙干，再以酒润，炒
熟焙干，一两半） 黄柏（炒，三两）
上为末，以白术膏丸，如萝卜子大。临卧津液吞下，或白汤送下。取膈上湿痰热积，
以意消息之。欲利，空心服。一方，加木香、槟榔各半两。
大青龙汤（仲景）
麻黄（六两，去节） 桂枝（二两，去粗皮） 甘草（二两，炙） 杏仁（四十粒，去皮） 生姜（三两，切）
大枣（十二枚，擘） 石膏（如鸡子大，碎如米）
上七味，以水九升，先煮麻黄，减二升，去上沫，纳诸药煮取三升，去滓，温服一升。
小青龙汤（见咳嗽。） 小半夏汤（见呕吐。）
泽泻汤（仲景）
泽泻（五两） 白术（二两）
水二升煮一升，分温再服。
倍术丸（《和剂》） 治五饮∶一曰留饮，停水在心下；二曰 饮，水在两胁；三曰痰饮，
水在胃中；四曰溢饮，水溢在膈；五曰流饮，水在胁间，沥沥有声。皆由饮水过多，或饮冷酒所致。
白术（二两） 桂心 干姜（各一两）
上为末，蜜丸。每服二十丸，温米饮下，加至三十丸，食前服。
大五饮丸（《千金翼》）
远志（去心） 苦参 藜芦 白术 乌鱼骨 甘遂 大黄 石膏 桔梗 五味子 半夏
（汤泡） 紫菀 前胡 芒硝 栝蒌 桂心 肉苁蓉 贝母 芫花 人参 当归 茯苓 芍
药大戟 葶苈 黄芩（各一两） 常山 甘草 薯蓣 浓朴 细辛（各七钱半） 巴豆（三十粒，
去皮心，熬）
上三十二味，为细末，炼蜜丸，桐子大，酒下三丸，日三服，稍加之。忌肉食、生物、
饧饴、冷水。
五饮汤（海藏） 治五饮最效。
旋复花 人参 陈皮（去白） 枳实 白术 茯苓 浓朴（制） 半夏（制） 泽泻 猪苓 前
胡桂心 白芍药 炙甘草（以上各等分）
上每一两，分四服，姜十片，水二盏，煎至七分，去滓，温服无时。因酒成饮，加葛
根、葛花、砂仁。
黄芩利膈丸（见痞。）
滚痰丸（《养生主论》） 痰之为病，或偏头风，或雷头风，或太阳头痛，眩晕如坐舟车，
精神恍惚。或口眼 动，或眉棱耳叶俱痒。或颔腮四肢游风肿硬，似疼非疼。或浑身燥痒，
搔之则瘾疹随生，皮毛烘热，色如锦斑。或齿颊似痒似痛，而疼无定所，满口牙浮，痛
痒不一。或嗳气吞酸，鼻闻焦臭，喉间豆腥气，心烦鼻塞，咽嗌不利，咯之不出，咽之
不下，或因喷嚏而出，或因举动而唾，其痰如墨，又如破絮，或如桃胶，或如蚬肉；或
心下如停冰铁，闭滞妨闷，嗳嚏连声，状如膈气。或寝梦刑戮，刀兵剑戟。或梦入人家，
四壁围绕，暂得一窦，百计得出，则不知何所。或梦在烧人，地上四面烟火，枯骨焦气
扑鼻，无路可出。或不因触发，忿怒悲啼雨泪而寤。或时郊行，忽见天边两月交辉，或
见金光数道，回头无有。或足膝酸软，或骨节腰肾疼痛，呼吸难任。或四肢肌骨间痛如
击戳，乍起乍止，并无常所。或不时手臂麻疼，状如风湿。或卧如芒刺不安，或如毛虫
所螫。或四肢不举，或手足重滞。或眼如姜蜇，胶粘痒涩，开合甚难。或阴晴交变之时，
胸痞气结，闭而不发，则齿痒咽痛，口糜舌烂，及其奋然而发，则喷嚏连声，初则涕唾
稠粘，次则清水如注。或眼前黑暗，脑后风声，耳内蝉鸣，眼 肉惕。治之者，或曰腠
理不密，风府受邪，或曰上盛下虚，或曰虚，或曰寒，或曰发邪。惟洞虚子备此疾苦，乃
能治疗。病势之来，则胸腹间如有二气交纽，噎塞烦郁，有如烟火上冲，头面烘热，眼花
耳鸣，痰涎涕泪，并从肺胃间涌起，凛然毛竖，喷嚏千百，然后遍身烦躁，则去衣冻体，
稍止片时。或春秋乍凉之时，多加衣衾，亦得暂缓。或顿饮冰水而定，或痛饮一醉而宁，
终不能逐去病根。乃得神秘沉香丸方，屡获大效，愈人数万，但不欲轻传匪人，故以隐
语括之。诗曰∶甑里翻身甲带金，于今头戴草堂深，相逢二八求斤正，硝 青礞倍若沉。
十七两中零半两，水丸梧子意须斟，除驱怪病安心志，水泻双身却不任。
大黄（蒸少顷，翻过再蒸少顷，即取出，不可过） 黄芩（各八两） 青礞石（硝 如金色） 沉香 百
药煎（此用百药煎，乃得之方外秘传。盖此丸得此药，乃能收敛周身顽涎聚于一处，然后利下，甚有奇功。
曰倍若沉者，言五倍子与沉香，非礞倍于沉之谓也。以上各五钱）
上为末，水丸如梧子大。白汤食后空心服。
一切新旧失心丧志，或癫或狂等证，每服一百丸，气盛能食狂甚者加二十丸，临时
加减消息之。一切中风瘫痪，痰涎壅塞，大便或通或结者，每服八九十丸，或加至百丸，
永无秘结之患。一切阳证，风毒香港脚，遍身游走疼痛，每服八九十丸，未效加至百丸。一
切无病之人，遍身筋骨疼痛不能名者，或头疼，牙痛，或摇或痒，风蛀等证，风寒鼻塞，
身体或疼或不疼，非伤寒证者，服八九十丸，痰盛气实者加之。一切吞酸嗳逆膈气，及胸
中疼闷，腹中气块冲上，呕沫吐涎，状如反胃，心下恍惚，如畏人捕，怵惕不安，阴阳
关格，变生乖证，食饥伤饱，忧思过虑，心下嘈杂，或痛或哕，或昼夜虚饱，或饥不喜
食，急慢喉闭，赤眼，每用加减服。一切新旧痰气喘嗽，或呕吐头运目眩，加减服之。一
切腮颔肿硬，若瘰 者，及口糜舌烂，咽喉生疮者，每服六七十丸，加蜜少许，一处嚼
碎噙化，睡时徐徐咽之。曾有口疮者，服二三十丸，根据前法噙之，二三夜瘥。一切男妇
大小虚实，心疼连腹，身体羸瘦，发时必呕绿水黑汁冷涎，乃至气绝，心下温暖者，量
虚实加减服之。若事属不虞之际，至于百丸，即便回生。未至颠危者，虚弱疑似之间，只
服三十丸或五十丸，立见生意，然后续续进之，以瘥为度。兼服生津化痰，温中理气之
药。一切荏苒疾病，凡男妇患非伤寒内外等证，或酒色过度，或吐血，或月事愆期，心
烦志乱，或腹胀胁痛，劳倦痰眩，或暴行日中，因暑伏痰，口眼 斜，目痛耳愦鼻塞，骨
节酸疼，干呕恶心，诸般内外疼痛，百药无效，众医不识者，根据前法加减服之效。大抵
服药，须临卧在床，用熟水一口许咽下便卧，令药在喉膈间，徐徐而下。如日间病出不测，
疼痛不可忍，必欲急除者，须是一根据前卧法服，大半日不可食汤水，及不可起身行坐言
语，真候药丸除逐上焦痰滞恶物过膈入腹，然后动作，方能中病，每夜须连进二次，次日
痰物既下三五次者，仍服前数，下五七次，或直下二三次，而病势顿已者，次夜减二十丸。
头夜所服并不下恶物者，次夜加十丸，人壮病实者，多加至百丸，惟候虚实消息之。或
服过仰卧，咽喉稠粘，壅塞不利者，痰气泛上，乃药病相攻之故也。少顷药力既胜，自
然宁贴。往往病久结实于肺胃之间，或只暴病全无泛滥者，服药下咽即仰卧，顿然百骸
安静，五脏清宁，次早先去大便一次，其余遍数皆是痰涕恶物，看甚么粪，用水搅之，尽
是痰片粘涎。或稍稍腹痛，腰肾拘急者，盖有一种顽痰恶物，闭气滑肠，里急后重者，状
如痢疾，片晌即已。若有痰涎易下者，快利不可胜言，顿然满口生津，百骸爽快。间有
片时倦怠者，盖因连日病苦不安，一时为药力所胜，气体暂和，如醉得醒，如浴方出，如
睡方起，此药并不洞泄，刮肠大泻，但取痰积恶物自肠胃次第而下，腹中糟粕，并不相
伤，其推下腹之粪，则药力所到之处，是故先去其粪。其余详悉，不能备述，服者当自知之。
利痰丸（《玄珠》）
南星 皂角 石膏 牵牛（头末） 芫花（以上各二两）
上为细末，用姜汁糊丸，如梧子大。每服一二十丸，量人虚实用之，姜汤下。一方，
加青盐五钱，巴豆少许，青礞石硝 如金色五钱。若风痰壅塞，此药乃为先锋，服之痰
即已，如寒不宜用。
导痰丸（《玄珠》）
大半夏（六两，分作三分，一分用白矾一两，为末浸水；一分用肥皂角一两为末浸水；一分用巴豆肉
一百粒，为末浸水）
上件余药在下，以半夏在上，浸至十日或半月，要常动水，令二药相透，次相合处，
拣去巴豆并皂角，将余水以慢火煮令水干，取出半夏，切，捣碎晒干，或阴干亦佳，后入∶
甘遂（制） 百药煎（各二两） 全蝎 僵蚕（各一两）
上为细末，薄糊丸，如梧子大。每服十丸或十五丸，亦量人虚实，白汤下。
妙应丸，即控涎丸。（见行痹。）
祛风丸（《宝鉴》） 有人喜食酸咸，酒色过节，渗注成痰饮，聚于胸膈，满则呕逆，恶
心涎流，一臂麻木，升则头目昏眩，降则腰脚疼痛，深则左瘫右痪，浅则厥然仆地。此
药宽中祛痰，搜风理气，和血驻颜，延年益寿。
半夏曲 荆芥（各四两） 槐角子（炒） 白矾（生） 橘红 朱砂（各一两）
上为末，姜汁糊丸。每服五六十丸，生姜、皂角子仁汤送下，日三服。
川芎丸（《本事》） 治膈上痰。
川芎（二两，细锉，慢火熬熟） 川大黄（二两，蒸令干）
上件焙干为末，用不蛀皂角五七挺，温水揉汁，绢滤出渣，瓦罐中熬成膏，和前二
味为丸，如桐子大。每服十五丸，小儿三丸，姜汤下。
保和丸（见伤食。） 消暑丸（见伤暑。） 苏子降气汤（见气。）
导痰汤（《济生》） 治痰涎壅盛，胸膈留饮，痞塞不通。
**水煮金花丸（张洁古方）**
南星、半夏（各一两，均生用）、天麻（五钱）、雄黄（二钱）、白面（三两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用水滴拌制成丸剂。每次服用五十至一百丸，先煎煮浆水至沸腾，放入药丸煮至浮起为止，捞出后用淡浆水浸泡，另用生姜汤送服。
**防风丸（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）**
主治各种风邪及痰热上攻引起的头痛恶心、项背拘急、目眩旋转、心悸烦闷、手足无力、骨节疼痛麻木、言语謇涩、口眼歪斜、神思恍惚、痰涎壅塞、昏沉健忘、虚烦少睡等症状。
防风（洗净）、川芎、天麻（去苗，酒浸一夜）、甘草（炙。各二两）、朱砂（半两，研磨，水飞法处理）。
将上述药物研成细末，用炼蜜制成丸剂，每两药粉制成十丸，以朱砂为衣。每次服用一丸，用荆芥汤化开服用，嚼碎茶或酒送服也可以，不限时间。
**川芎丸（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）**
疏散风邪，化解痰涎，利咽膈，清头目。主治头痛眩晕、心悸烦热、颈项紧急、肩背拘倦、肢体烦疼、皮肤瘙痒、脑昏目疼、鼻塞声重、面部游风（感觉如虫爬行）。
川芎、龙脑薄荷叶（焙干。各七十五两）、桔梗（一百两）、甘草（炙，三十五两）、防风（去苗，二十五两）、细辛（洗，五两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用炼蜜调和，每一两半分制成五十丸。每次服用一丸，用腊茶清细细嚼服，饭后、临睡前服用。
**丹溪搜风化痰丸**
人参、僵蚕、槐角、白矾、天麻、陈皮（去白）、荆芥（各一两）、半夏（四两，汤浸）、辰砂（半两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用姜汁浸蒸饼制成丸剂，以辰砂为衣。每次服用四十丸，姜汤送服。
**小黄丸（张洁古方）**
主治热痰咳嗽。
南星（汤洗）、半夏（汤洗）、黄芩（各一两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用姜汁浸蒸饼制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五七十丸，食后生姜汤送服。
**小柴胡汤**
（见寒热章节。）
**白术丸（张洁古方）**
主治湿痰咳嗽。
南星、半夏（各一两，均汤洗）、白术（一两半）。
将上述药物研成细末，用汤浸蒸饼制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五七十丸，食后生姜汤送服。
**玉粉丸（张洁古方）**
主治气痰咳嗽。
南星、半夏（各一两，均汤洗）、橘皮（去白，二两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用汤浸蒸饼制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用五七十丸，食后人参、生姜汤送服。
**桔梗汤（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）**
除痰下气。主治胸胁胀满、寒热呕哕、心下坚痞、短气烦闷、痰逆恶心、饮食不下。
桔梗（细锉，微炒）、半夏（汤洗七次，姜汁制）、陈皮（去白。各十两）、枳实（麸炒赤黄色，五两）。
将上述药物捣成粗末，每次取二钱，加水一中盏，放入姜片五片，同煎至七分，去渣，不拘时温服。
**姜桂丸（张洁古方）**
主治寒痰咳嗽。
南星（洗）、半夏（洗）、官桂（去粗皮。各一两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用蒸饼制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三五十丸，食后生姜汤送服。若痰多但能进食者，用小承气汤轻微通下；若痰多不能进食者，用浓朴汤主治。
**胡椒理中丸（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）**
主治肺胃虚寒，气机不宣通，咳嗽喘急，逆气虚痞，胸膈噎闷，胁腹满痛，迫塞短气，不能饮食，呕吐痰水不止。
款冬花（去梗）、胡椒、甘草（炙）、荜茇、良姜、细辛（去苗）、陈皮（去白）、干姜（各四两）、白术（五两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用炼蜜制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用三十丸，加至五十丸，温汤、温酒、米饮任服，不限时间，每日两次。
**吴茱萸汤（张仲景方）**
吴茱萸（一升，洗）、人参（三两）、生姜（六两，切）、大枣（十二枚，掰开）。
将以上四味药，用水七升，煮取二升，去渣，温服七合，每日三次。
**桂苓术甘汤**

**小胃丹**
芫花（好醋拌匀过夜，在瓦器内不停搅拌炒至黑色，不可炒焦）、甘遂（湿面粉包裹，长流水浸泡半月，煮，晒干）、大戟（长流水煮一时辰，再用水洗，晒干，各半两）、大黄（湿纸包裹煨烤勿令焦，切，焙干，再以酒润，炒熟焙干，一两半）、黄柏（炒，三两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用白术膏制成丸剂，大小如萝卜子。临睡前用津液吞服，或用白开水送服。旨在清除膈上的湿痰热积，需根据病情斟酌剂量。欲通便者，空腹服用。另一配方，加木香、槟榔各半两。
**大青龙汤（张仲景方）**
麻黄（六两，去节）、桂枝（二两，去粗皮）、甘草（二两，炙）、杏仁（四十粒，去皮）、生姜（三两，切）、大枣（十二枚，掰开）、石膏（如鸡蛋大，碎如米粒）。
将以上七味药，用水九升，先煮麻黄，减去二升，撇去上浮泡沫，加入其他药物，煮取三升，去渣，温服一升。
**小青龙汤**

**泽泻汤（张仲景方）**
泽泻（五两）、白术（二两）。
用水二升，煮取一升，分两次温服。
**倍术丸（出自《太平惠民和剂局方》）**
主治五饮：一曰留饮，水停在心下；二曰悬饮，水在两胁；三曰痰饮，水在胃中；四曰溢饮，水溢在膈；五曰流饮，水在胁间，沥沥有声。皆因饮水过多，或饮冷酒所致。
白术（二两）、桂心、干姜（各一两）。
将上述药物研成细末，蜜丸。每次服用二十丸，温米饮送服，加至三十丸，饭前服用。
**大五饮丸（出自《千金翼方》）**
远志（去心）、苦参、藜芦、白术、乌鱼骨、甘遂、大黄、石膏、桔梗、五味子、半夏（汤泡）、紫菀、前胡、芒硝、栝蒌、桂心、肉苁蓉、贝母、芫花、人参、当归、茯苓、芍药、大戟、葶苈、黄芩（各一两）、常山、甘草、薯蓣、浓朴、细辛（各七钱半）、巴豆（三十粒，去皮心，熬）。
将以上三十二味药，研成细末，炼蜜制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子，酒送服三丸，每日三次，逐渐增加剂量。忌食肉类、生冷食物、饴糖、冷水。
**五饮汤（张元素方）**
主治五饮最为有效。
旋复花、人参、陈皮（去白）、枳实、白术、茯苓、浓朴（制）、半夏（制）、泽泻、猪苓、前胡、桂心、白芍药、炙甘草（以上各等分）。
将以上药物，每一两分为四服，加姜片十片，水二盏，煎至七分，去渣，不拘时温服。因饮酒导致的饮证，加葛根、葛花、砂仁。

**滚痰丸（出自《养生主论》）**
痰邪致病，有的表现为偏头风，有的表现为雷头风，有的表现为太阳头痛，眩晕如坐舟车，精神恍惚。有的口眼歪斜，有的眉棱骨、耳叶俱痒。有的颔腮四肢游走性肿硬，似疼非疼。有的浑身燥痒，搔之则瘾疹随之而生，皮毛烘热，色如锦斑。有的齿颊似痒似痛，而疼痛无定处，满口牙浮，痛痒不一。有的嗳气吞酸，鼻闻焦臭，喉间有豆腥气，心烦鼻塞，咽喉不利，咯之不出，咽之不下，或因喷嚏而出，或因举动而唾，其痰如墨，又如破絮，或如桃胶，或如蚬肉；有的心下如停冰铁，闭滞妨闷，嗳嚏连声，状如膈气。有的梦中受刑戮，刀兵剑戟。有的梦入人家，四壁围绕，暂得一孔，百计得出，却不知去向。有的梦见烧人，地上四面烟火，枯骨焦气扑鼻，无路可出。有的不因触发，愤怒悲啼流泪而醒。有的在郊外行走，忽见天边两月交辉，或见金光数道，回头却无。有的足膝酸软，有的骨节腰肾疼痛，呼吸难任。有的四肢肌骨间痛如击戳，乍起乍止，并无常处。有的不时手臂麻疼，状如风湿。有的卧如芒刺不安，或如毛虫所螫。有的四肢不举，有的手足重滞。有的眼如姜蜇，胶粘痒涩，开合甚难。有的在阴晴交变之时，胸痞气结，闭而不发，则齿痒咽痛，口糜舌烂，及其奋然而发，则喷嚏连声，初则涕唾稠粘，次则清水如注。有的眼前黑暗，脑后风声，耳内蝉鸣，眼睑跳动。治疗的人，有的说是腠理不密，风府受邪，有的说是上盛下虚，有的说是虚，有的说是寒，有的说是发邪。只有洞虚子备有此疾苦，乃能治疗。病势发作时，胸腹间如有二气交纽，噎塞烦郁，有如烟火上冲，头面烘热，眼花耳鸣，痰涎涕泪，并从肺胃间涌起，凛然毛竖，喷嚏千百，然后遍身烦躁，则去衣冻体，稍止片时。或在春秋乍凉之时，多加衣衾，亦得暂缓。或顿饮冰水而定，或痛饮一醉而宁，终不能逐去病根。于是得到神秘沉香丸方，屡获大效，愈人数万，但不欲轻传匪人，故以隐语括之。诗曰：甑里翻身甲带金，于今头戴草堂深，相逢二八求斤正，硝青礞倍若沉。十七两中零半两，水丸梧子意须斟，除驱怪病安心志，水泻双身却不任。
大黄（蒸少顷，翻过再蒸少顷，即取出，不可过久）、黄芩（各八两）、青礞石（硝制如金色）、沉香、百药煎（此用百药煎，乃得之方外秘传。盖此丸得此药，乃能收敛周身顽涎聚于一处，然后利下，甚有奇功。曰倍若沉者，言五倍子与沉香，非礞倍于沉之谓也。以上各五钱）。
将上述药物研成细末，水泛为丸，大小如梧桐子。白开水食后空心服用。
一切新旧失心丧志，或癫或狂等证，每次服用一百丸，气盛能食狂甚者加二十丸，临时加减斟酌。一切中风瘫痪，痰涎壅塞，大便或通或结者，每次服用八九十丸，或加至百丸，永无秘结之患。一切阳证，风毒香港脚，遍身游走疼痛，每次服用八九十丸，未效加至百丸。一切无病之人，遍身筋骨疼痛不能名者，或头疼，牙痛，或摇或痒，风蛀等证，风寒鼻塞，身体或疼或不疼，非伤寒证者，服用八九十丸，痰盛气实者加之。一切吞酸嗳逆膈气，及胸中疼闷，腹中气块冲上，呕沫吐涎，状如反胃，心下恍惚，如畏人捕，怵惕不安，阴阳关格，变生乖证，食饥伤饱，忧思过虑，心下嘈杂，或痛或哕，或昼夜虚饱，或饥不喜食，急慢喉闭，赤眼，每用加减服用。一切新旧痰气喘嗽，或呕吐头晕目眩，加减服用。一切腮颔肿硬，若瘰疬者，及口糜舌烂，咽喉生疮者，每次服用六七十丸，加蜜少许，一处嚼碎含化，睡时徐徐咽之。曾有口疮者，服用二三十丸，根据前法含之，二三夜痊愈。一切男女老少虚实，心疼连腹，身体羸瘦，发作时必呕绿水黑汁冷涎，乃至气绝，心下温暖者，量虚实加减服用。若事属不虞之际，至于百丸，即便回生。未至颠危者，虚弱疑似之间，只服三十丸或五十丸，立见生意，然后续续进之，以痊愈为度。兼服生津化痰，温中理气之药。一切迁延疾病，凡男女患非伤寒内外等证，或酒色过度，或吐血，或月事愆期，心烦志乱，或腹胀胁痛，劳倦痰眩，或暴行日中，因暑伏痰，口眼歪斜，目痛耳聩鼻塞，骨节酸疼，干呕恶心，诸般内外疼痛，百药无效，众医不识者，根据前法加减服用有效。大抵服药，须临卧在床，用熟水一口许咽下便卧，令药在喉膈间，徐徐而下。如日间病出不测，疼痛不可忍，必欲急除者，须是一根据前卧法服，大半日不可食汤水，及不可起身行坐言语，真候药丸除逐上焦痰滞恶物过膈入腹，然后动作，方能中病，每夜须连进二次，次日痰物既下三五次者，仍服前数，下五七次，或直下二三次，而病势顿已者，次夜减二十丸。头夜所服并不下恶物者，次夜加十丸，人壮病实者，多加至百丸，惟候虚实斟酌。或服后仰卧，咽喉稠粘，壅塞不利者，痰气泛上，乃药病相攻之故也。少顷药力既胜，自然宁贴。往往病久结实于肺胃之间，或只暴病全无泛滥者，服药下咽即仰卧，顿然百骸安静，五脏清宁，次早先去大便一次，其余遍数皆是痰涕恶物，看甚么粪，用水搅之，尽是痰片粘涎。或稍稍腹痛，腰肾拘急者，盖有一种顽痰恶物，闭气滑肠，里急后重者，状如痢疾，片晌即已。若有痰涎易下者，快利不可胜言，顿然满口生津，百骸爽快。间有片时倦怠者，盖因连日病苦不安，一时为药力所胜，气体暂和，如醉得醒，如浴方出，如睡方起，此药并不洞泄，刮肠大泻，但取痰积恶物自肠胃次第而下，腹中糟粕，并不相伤，其推下腹之粪，则药力所到之处，是故先去其粪。其余详悉，不能备述，服者当自知之。
**利痰丸（出自《玄珠密语》）**
南星、皂角、石膏、牵牛（头末）、芫花（以上各二两）。
将上述药物研成细末，用姜汁糊制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用一二十丸，量人虚实使用，姜汤送服。另一配方，加青盐五钱，巴豆少许，硝制如金色的青礞石五钱。若风痰壅塞，此药乃为先锋，服之痰即已，如寒不宜用。
**导痰丸（出自《玄珠密语》）**
大半夏（六两，分作三分，一分用白矾一两，为末浸水；一分用肥皂角一两为末浸水；一分用巴豆肉一百粒，为末浸水）。
将上述余药在下，以半夏在上，浸至十日或半月，要常动水，令二药相透，次相合处，拣去巴豆并皂角，将余水以慢火煮令水干，取出半夏，切，捣碎晒干，或阴干亦佳，后入：甘遂（制）、百药煎（各二两）、全蝎、僵蚕（各一两）。
将上述药物研成细末，薄糊制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子。每次服用十丸或十五丸，亦量人虚实，白开水送服。
**祛风丸（出自《卫生宝鉴》）**
有人喜食酸咸，酒色过节，渗注成痰饮，聚于胸膈，满则呕逆，恶心涎流，一臂麻木，升则头目昏眩，降则腰脚疼痛，深则左瘫右痪，浅则厥然仆地。此药宽中祛痰，搜风理气，和血驻颜，延年益寿。
半夏曲、荆芥（各四两）、槐角子（炒）、白矾（生）、橘红、朱砂（各一两）。
将上述药物研成细末，姜汁糊制成丸剂。每次服用五六十丸，生姜、皂角子仁汤送服，每日三次。
**川芎丸（出自《本事方》）**
主治膈上痰。
川芎（二两，细锉，慢火熬熟）、川大黄（二两，蒸令干）。
将以上药物焙干研成细末，用不蛀皂角五七挺，温水揉汁，绢滤出渣，瓦罐中熬成膏，和前二味为丸，如梧桐子大。每次服用十五丸，小儿三丸，姜汤送服。
**Shuizhu Jinhua Wan (Water-Boiled Golden Flower Pill) [Formula by Zhang Jiegu]**
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (each 1 liang, both used raw), Gastrodia Rhizoma (Tianma) (5 qian), Realgar (Xionghuang) (2 qian), White Flour (Baimian) (3 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Mix with drops of water to form pills. Take 50 to 100 pills per dose. First, boil Jiangshui (fermented rice water) until boiling, add the pills, and cook until they float. Remove them, soak in light Jiangshui, and take separately with Ginger Decoction.
**Fangfeng Wan (Saposhnikovia Pill) [From *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]**
Indicated for all types of wind and phlegm-heat attacking upwards, causing headache and nausea, stiffness and tension of the neck and back, dizziness and vertigo, palpitations and restlessness, weakness of hands and feet, pain and bi-syndrome of bone joints, slurred speech, deviation of mouth and eyes, absent-mindedness, obstruction of phlegm and saliva, confusion and forgetfulness, deficiency heat and insomnia.
Saposhnikovia Radix (Fangfeng) (washed), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Gastrodia Rhizoma (Tianma) (remove sprouts, soaked in wine overnight), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (honey-fried, each 2 liang), Cinnabar (Zhusha) (0.5 liang, ground, washed with water).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form pills using refined honey, making ten pills from one liang of powder. Coat with Cinnabar. Take one pill per dose, dissolved in Schizonepeta Decoction. It can also be taken chewed with tea or wine, at any time.
**Chuanxiong Wan (Ligusticum Pill) [From *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]**
Disperses wind, resolves phlegm, benefits the throat and diaphragm, clears the head and eyes. Indicated for headache and vertigo, palpitations and irritability, stiffness of the neck, heaviness and fatigue of shoulders and back, painful limbs, itchy skin, dizziness and eye pain, nasal congestion and heavy voice, wandering wind on the face, feeling like insects crawling.
Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Mentha Haplocalycis Herba (Longnao Boheye) (baked dry, each 75 liang), Platycodon Grandiflorus Radix (Jiegeng) (100 liang), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (honey-fried, 35 liang), Saposhnikovia Radix (Fangfeng) (remove sprouts, 25 liang), Asarum Root (Xixin) (washed, 5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Knead with refined honey. Make fifty pills from 1.5 liang. Take one pill per dose, chewed finely with winter tea infusion. Take after meals and before bed.
**Huatan Yuhu Wan (Phlegm-Resolving Jade Pot Pill)**

**Danxi Sofeng Huatan Wan (Danxi's Wind-Searching Phlegm-Resolving Pill)**
Ginseng Radix (Renshen), Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan), Sophora Fructus (Huaijiao), Alum (Baifan), Gastrodia Rhizoma (Tianma), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) (remove white pith), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie) (each 1 liang), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (4 liang, soaked in decoction), Cinnabar (Chensha) (0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Soak steamed bread dough in ginger juice to form pills. Coat with Cinnabar. Take 40 pills per dose with Ginger Decoction.
**Xiaohuang Wan (Little Yellow Pill) [Formula by Zhang Jiegu]**
Indicated for cough due to heat-phlegm.
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing) (washed with decoction), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (washed with decoction), Scutellaria Baicalensis Radix (Huangqin) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Soak steamed bread dough in ginger juice to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50-70 pills per dose with Ginger Decoction after meals.
**Xiao Chaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction)**

**Baizhu Wan (Atractylodes Macrocephala Pill) [Formula by Zhang Jiegu]**
Indicated for cough due to damp-phlegm.
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (each 1 liang, both washed with decoction), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu) (1.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Soak steamed bread dough in decoction to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50-70 pills per dose with Ginger Decoction after meals.
**Yufen Wan (Jade Powder Pill) [Formula by Zhang Jiegu]**
Indicated for cough due to qi-phlegm.
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (each 1 liang, both washed with decoction), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium (Jupi) (remove white pith, 2 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Soak steamed bread dough in decoction to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 50-70 pills per dose with Ginseng and Ginger Decoction after meals.
**Jiegeng Tang (Platycodon Decoction) [From *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]**
Resolves phlegm and directs qi downward. Indicated for distension and fullness of chest and hypochondrium, alternating fever and aversion to cold, vomiting and hiccups, hardness and lump below the heart, shortness of breath and oppression, rebellious phlegm and nausea, inability to eat.
Platycodon Grandiflorus Radix (Jiegeng) (finely chopped, slightly stir-fried), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (washed seven times with decoction, prepared with ginger juice), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) (remove white pith, each 10 liang), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi) (bran-fried to reddish-yellow, 5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into coarse powder. Take 2 qian per dose, add one lamp of water and five slices of ginger. Decoct to 0.7 portion, remove dregs, and take warm at any time.
**Jianggui Wan (Ginger and Cinnamon Pill) [Formula by Zhang Jiegu]**
Indicated for cough due to cold-phlegm.
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing) (washed), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (washed), Cinnamon Twig (Guirou) (remove rough bark, each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Form pills using steamed bread dough, size of Sophora seeds. Take 30-50 pills per dose with Ginger Decoction after meals. If there is phlegm but the patient can eat, mildly purge with Xiaochengqi Tang; if there is phlegm and the patient cannot eat, treat with Nongpo Tang.
**Hujiao Lizhong Wan (Pepper Regulate Middle Pill) [From *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]**
Indicated for deficiency-cold of Lung and Stomach, obstruction of qi circulation, cough and wheezing, rebellious qi and deficiency-fullness, choking and oppression in chest and diaphragm, fullness and pain in hypochondrium and abdomen, suffocating shortness of breath, inability to eat, continuous vomiting of phlegm and water.
Farflos Flos (Kuandonghua), Piper Longum Fruit (Hujiao), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (honey-fried), Biberis Fructus (Bibo), Alpiniae Officinarum Rhizoma (Liangjiang), Asarum Root (Xixin) (remove sprouts), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) (remove white pith), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang) (each 4 liang), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu) (5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form pills using refined honey, size of Sophora seeds. Take 30 pills per dose, increasing to 50 pills. Take with warm water, warm wine, or rice drink, at any time, twice daily.
**Wuzhuyu Tang (Evodia Decoction) [Formula by Zhang Zhongjing]**
Evodia Fruit (Wuzhuyu) (1 sheng, washed), Ginseng Radix (Renshen) (3 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) (6 liang, sliced), Jujubae Fructus (Dazao) (12 pieces, torn open).
Take the above four ingredients, add seven sheng of water, decoct to obtain two sheng. Remove dregs, take 0.7 sheng warm, three times daily.
**Guiling Zhugan Tang (Cinnamon, Poria, Atractylodes, and Licorice Decoction)**

**Xiaowei Dan (Little Stomach Pill)**
Genkwa Flos (Yuanhua) (mix well with good vinegar, leave overnight, stir-fry continuously in a pottery vessel until black, do not burn), Kansui Radix (Gansui) (wrap in wet flour, soak in running water for half a month, boil, dry), Euphorbia Lathyris Root (Daji) (boil in running water for one hour, wash with water again, dry, each 0.5 liang), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) (wrap in wet paper, bake without burning, cut, dry, moisten with wine, stir-fry until cooked and dry, 1.5 liang), Phellodendri Amurensis Cortex (Huangbai) (stir-fried, 3 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form pills using Atractylodes Macrocephala paste, size of radish seeds. Swallow with saliva before bed, or take with plain water. Aim to remove damp-phlegm and heat accumulation in the upper diaphragm; adjust dosage according to condition. To induce purgation, take on an empty stomach. Another formula adds Costus Root (Muxiang) and Areca Seed (Binglang) each 0.5 liang.
**Da Qinglong Tang (Major Blue Dragon Decoction) [Formula by Zhang Zhongjing]**
Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang) (6 liang, remove nodes), Cinnamomi Ramulus (Guizhi) (2 liang, remove rough bark), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (2 liang, honey-fried), Prunus Armeniaca Semen (Xingren) (40 grains, remove skin), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Shengjiang) (3 liang, sliced), Jujubae Fructus (Dazao) (12 pieces, torn open), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (size of a chicken egg, crushed like rice grains).
Take the above seven ingredients, add nine sheng of water. First decoct Ephedrae Herba, reduce by two sheng, remove foam on surface. Add other ingredients, decoct to obtain three sheng. Remove dregs, take one sheng warm.

**Zexie Tang (Alisma Decoction) [Formula by Zhang Zhongjing]**
Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie) (5 liang), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu) (2 liang).
Add two sheng of water, decoct to obtain one sheng. Divide into two warm doses.
**Beizhu Wan (Double Atractylodes Pill) [From *Taiping Huimin Heji Jufang*]**
Indicated for Five Drinks: 1. Liuyin (Stagnant Drink): water stagnates below the heart; 2. Xuanyin (Hanging Drink): water is in both hypochondria; 3. Tanyin (Phlegm Drink): water is in the stomach; 4. Yiyin (Overflowing Drink): water overflows to the diaphragm; 5. Liuyin (Flowing Drink): water is between the ribs, sounding gurgling. All caused by excessive drinking or consuming cold wine.
Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu) (2 liang), Cinnamon Heart (Guixin), Dried Ginger (Ganjiang) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form honey pills. Take 20 pills per dose with warm rice drink, increase to 30 pills, take before meals.
**Da Wuyin Wan (Major Five Drinks Pill) [From *Qianjin Yifang*]**
Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi) (remove heart), Sophora Flavescens Radix (Kushen), Veratrum Nigrum Rhizoma (Lilu), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu), Cuttlefish Bone (Wuyu Gu), Kansui Radix (Gansui), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Platycodon Grandiflorus Radix (Jiegeng), Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus (Wuweizi), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (soaked in decoction), Aster Tataricus Radix (Ziwan), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu), Mirabilite (Mangxiao), Trichosanthis Radix (Gualou), Cinnamon Heart (Guixin), Cistanches Stem (Roucongrong), Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus (Beimu), Genkwa Flos (Yuanhua), Ginseng Radix (Renshen), Angelica Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Poria (Fuling), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Euphorbia Lathyris Root (Daji), Lepidii Seminium (Tingli), Scutellaria Baicalensis Radix (Huangqin) (each 1 liang), Dichroa Radix (Changshan), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Dioscoreae Hypoglaucae Rhizoma (Shanyao), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Houpo), Asarum Root (Xixin) (each 7.5 qian), Crotonis Fructus (Badou) (30 grains, remove skin and heart, roast).
Grind the above thirty-two ingredients into a fine powder. Form pills using refined honey, size of Sophora seeds. Take three pills with wine, three times daily, gradually increase. Avoid meat, raw food, maltose, and cold water.
**Wuyin Tang (Five Drinks Decoction) [Formula by Zhang Yuansu]**
Most effective for treating Five Drinks.
Inulae Flos (Xuanfuhua), Ginseng Radix (Renshen), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium (Chenpi) (remove white pith), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizoma (Baizhu), Poria (Fuling), Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex (Houpo) (prepared), Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (prepared), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie), Polyporus (Zhu Ling), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu), Cinnamon Twig (Guixin), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Shaoyao), Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Radix et Rhizoma (Zhigancao) (all equal parts).
Divide one liang of the mixture into four doses. Add ten slices of ginger and two lamps of water. Decoct to 0.7 portion, remove dregs, take warm at any time. For drinks caused by alcohol, add Puerariae Lobatae Radix (Gegen), Puerariae Flos (Ge Hua), and Amomi Fructus Rotundus (Sharen).

**Gun Tan Wan (Rolling Phlegm Pill) [From *Yangsheng Zhulun*]**
Pathogenic phlegm causes various symptoms: some present as hemiplegic headache, some as thunder-headache, some as Taiyang headache, dizziness as if on a boat, mental confusion. Some have deviation of mouth and eyes, some have itching of eyebrows and ears. Some have wandering swelling and hardness of jaw, cheeks, and limbs, painful yet not painful. Some have whole-body dry itching, scratching produces urticaria, skin feels hot, color like brocade. Some have teeth and cheeks feeling itchy and painful, pain has no fixed location, loose teeth, varying pain and itch. Some have belching and acid regurgitation, smell burnt odor from nose, bean-like腥 odor in throat, heart vexation, nasal congestion, throat discomfort, phlegm cannot be expectorated or swallowed, may come out with sneezing or movement, phlegm like ink, like broken cotton, like peach gum, like clam meat; some feel ice and iron stopping below the heart, obstruction and oppression, frequent belching and sneezing, resembling diaphragmatic qi. Some dream of execution, swords and halberds. Some dream of entering someone's house, surrounded by walls, finding a hole, trying many ways to escape, yet not knowing where. Some dream of burning people, fire and smoke everywhere, smell of scorched bones, no way out. Some wake up angry and crying without trigger. Some walking in suburbs suddenly see two moons shining together, or see golden lights, but looking back finds nothing. Some have sore and weak knees, some have bone joint, waist, and kidney pain, difficult breathing. Some have pain in limbs and muscles like being struck, starting and stopping suddenly, no fixed location. Some have intermittent arm and hand numbness and pain, resembling wind-bi. Some lie restless like thorns, or like being stung by insects. Some have immobility of limbs, some have heavy hands and feet. Some have eyes feeling like stingray sting, sticky and itchy, hard to open and close. Some during weather changes have chest fullness and qi knotting, blocked and not releasing, then teeth itch, throat hurts, mouth sores and tongue ulcers; when it erupts, frequent sneezing, initially thick sputum, then clear water pouring. Some have dark vision, wind sound behind head, cicada buzzing in ears, eyelid twitching. Practitioners say: pores are not tight, wind pathogen attacks Fengfu point; or excess above and deficiency below; or deficiency; or cold; or pathogenic flare. Only Dongxu Zi prepared for this suffering, thus able to treat. When disease strikes, two qi twist in chest and abdomen, choking and depression, like smoke and fire rushing up, head and face hot, blurred vision and tinnitus, phlegm, saliva, tears surge from Lung and Stomach, hair stands on end, hundreds of sneezes, then whole body restless, removing clothes to freeze body, pausing briefly. Or adding clothes in cool spring/autumn, getting temporary relief. Or drinking ice water to settle, or drinking heavily to calm, but root cause remains. Thus obtained mysterious Chenxiang Wan formula, frequently effective, curing thousands, but not wanting to pass to unworthy persons, hence using hidden language. Poem: "Turning over in steamer, armor carries gold, now wearing thatch hat deep, meeting two eights seeking balance, Xiao Qing Meng double like Chen." Seventeen taels plus half tael, water pills Sophora size must consider carefully, dispel strange diseases and calm mind, water diarrhea double body cannot bear.
Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) (steam briefly, flip and steam briefly, remove immediately, do not overdo), Scutellaria Baicalensis Radix (Huangqin) (each 8 liang), Calamitis (Qingmengshi) (Xiao-treated like gold color), Agarwood (Chenxiang), Centenarium Fermentum (Baiyaojian) (use Baiyaojian, secret recipe outside medicine. This pill needs this herb to gather stubborn phlegm in one place, then purge downwards, very miraculous. 'Bei Ruochen' means Wubeizi and Chenxiang, not Meng exceeding Chen. Each of the above 5 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form water pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take with plain water after meals on empty stomach.
For all new and old cases of lost mind and will, mania or epilepsy, take 100 pills per dose. For those with strong qi, able to eat, severe mania, add 20 pills, adjust temporarily. For all stroke paralysis, phlegm obstruction, stool either open or closed, take 80-90 pills, or up to 100 pills, forever avoiding constipation. For all Yang syndromes, wind-toxic gout, wandering pain all over body, take 80-90 pills, increase to 100 if ineffective. For healthy people with unnamable bone and tendon pain, headache, toothache, shaking or itching, wind-boring syndromes, wind-cold nasal congestion, body pain or no pain, non-Taiyang syndrome, take 80-90 pills, increase for abundant phlegm and strong qi. For all acid regurgitation, belching, diaphragmatic qi, chest pain and oppression, abdominal qi mass rushing up, vomiting foam and saliva, resembling reverse stomach, mental vagueness, fear of capture, anxiety, Yin-Yang blockage, abnormal manifestations, eating hunger or injury from fullness, excessive worry, stomach clattering, pain or hiccups, day-night false fullness, hunger without desire to eat, acute and chronic throat closure, red eyes, adjust dose accordingly. For all new and old phlegm-wheezing cough, vomiting, dizziness, adjust dose. For all jaw and cheek swelling and hardness, scrofula, mouth sores and tongue ulcers, throat ulcers, take 60-70 pills, add little honey, chew and hold in mouth, swallow slowly while sleeping. For previous mouth ulcers, take 20-30 pills, hold as before, heal in 2-3 nights. For all men, women, young, old, deficiency or excess, heart pain connecting to abdomen, emaciation, vomiting green water, black juice, cold saliva when onset, even Qi cessation, warmth below heart, adjust dose based on deficiency/excess. In emergencies, up to 100 pills brings life back. For not critical, weak or doubtful cases, take only 30 or 50 pills, immediate vitality seen, then continue until healed. Concurrently take herbs generating fluids, resolving phlegm, warming middle, regulating qi. For all lingering diseases, men and women with non-Taiyang internal/external syndromes, excessive sex/alcohol, hematemesis, delayed menstruation, heart vexation and confusion, abdominal distension and hypochondriac pain, fatigue phlegm-dizziness, sudden exposure to sun, summer-heat latent phlegm, deviation of mouth and eyes, eye pain, deafness, nasal congestion, bone joint soreness, dry retching and nausea, various internal/external pains, hundred medicines ineffective, doctors unknown, adjust dose as before for effect. Generally, take medicine lying in bed at night, swallow with a mouthful of warm water, lie down immediately, letting medicine stay in throat and diaphragm, descending slowly. If daytime illness unpredictable, unbearable pain, urgent removal needed, must follow lying method, half day no food/water, no rising/sitting/talking, truly wait for pill to purge upper jiao phlegm/stasis/evil matter past diaphragm into abdomen, then move, only then hits disease. Must advance twice nightly. Next day, if phlegm/evil matter purged 3-5 times, still take previous number, purging 5-7 times, or directly 2-3 times with disease instantly subsiding, reduce 20 pills next night. If previous night's dose did not purge evil matter, add 10 pills next night. For robust patients with excess disease, increase to 100 pills, adjust based on deficiency/excess. If after taking, lying supine causes thick sticky throat, obstruction, phlegm/qi flooding up, this is drug-disease conflict. Soon after drug power wins, naturally settles. Often long-standing disease solidifies in Lung/Stomach, or acute disease without flooding, after swallowing pill lie supine, instantly hundred bones quiet, five zang peaceful. Next morning, first bowel movement once, remaining passages all phlegm/snot/evil matter. Whatever stool, mix with water, all is phlegm片和 sticky saliva. Or slight abdominal pain, waist/kidney tension, due to stubborn phlegm/evil matter blocking qi, slippery intestines, tenesmus, resembling dysentery, gone in moments. If phlegm/saliva easy to purge, rapid benefit unspeakable, instant mouth salivation, whole body refreshing. Occasionally brief fatigue, due to days of sickness unrest, momentarily overcome by drug power, qi/body temporarily harmonized, like waking from drunkenness, like bathing just finished, like rising from sleep. This drug does not cause洞泄 (profuse diarrhea) or scraping intestine great purge, but takes phlegm accumulation/evil matter sequentially from intestines/stomach, abdominal waste not harmed. The pushing down of abdominal feces, where drug power reaches, thus removes feces first. Remaining details cannot be fully described, users know themselves.
**Litang Wan (Phlegm-Purging Pill) [From *Xuanshu Miyu*]**
Arisaema Cum Bile (Nanxing), Gleditsia Sinensis Spina (Zaojiao), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Pharbitidis Semen (Qianniu) (first powder), Genkwa Flos (Yuanhua) (above each 2 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Use ginger juice paste to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 10-20 pills per dose, adjust based on patient's deficiency/excess, take with Ginger Decoction. Another formula adds Green Salt (Qingyan) 5 qian, little Badou, Qingmengshi Xiao-treated like gold color 5 qian. For wind-phlegm obstruction, this pill acts as vanguard, phlegm stops after taking, not suitable for cold.
**Daotan Wan (Phlegm-Guiding Pill) [From *Xuanshu Miyu*]**
Pinellia Rhizoma (Banxia) (6 liang, divided into three parts: one part soaked in water with Alum powder 1 liang; one part soaked in water with Soap Pod powder 1 liang; one part soaked in water with Badou flesh powder 100 grains).
Place remaining herbs below, Banxia above. Soak for 10 days or half a month, keep water moving often, let two drugs penetrate, at intersection, remove Badou and Zaojiao. Boil remaining water with slow fire until dry. Take out Banxia, cut, crush, dry in sun or shade. Then add: Kansui Radix (Gansui) (prepared), Centenarium Fermentum (Baiyaojian) (each 2 liang), Scorpio (Quanxie), Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Thin paste to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 10 or 15 pills per dose, adjust based on patient's deficiency/excess, take with plain water.

**Qufeng Wan (Wind-Dispelling Pill) [From *Weisheng Baojian*]**
Some people like sour and salty foods, excessive sex/alcohol, seeping into phlegm-drink, gathering in chest/diaphragm. Fullness causes vomiting/reversal, nausea, saliva flow, one arm numbness. Rising causes dizziness, falling causes waist/foot pain. Deep causes left/right hemiplegia, shallow causes fainting/collapse. This pill broadens middle, resolves phlegm, searches wind, regulates qi, harmonizes blood, preserves youth, extends life.
Pinellia Fermented Dough (Banxiaqu), Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie) (each 4 liang), Sophora Tree Fruit (Huaijiaozǐ) (stir-fried), Alum (Baifan) (raw), Citrus Reticulatae Pericarpium Rubrum (Juhong), Cinnabar (Zhusha) (each 1 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Ginger juice paste to form pills. Take 50-60 pills per dose with Ginger and Gleditsia Seed Kernel Decoction, three times daily.
**Chuanxiong Wan (Ligusticum Pill) [From *Ben Shi Fang*]**
Indicated for phlegm above diaphragm.
Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong) (2 liang, finely chopped, slow-fire roasted熟), Rheum Palmatum Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang) (2 liang, steamed until dry).
Roast above ingredients until dry, grind into powder. Use non-moth-eaten Gleditsia Sinensis Spina 5-7 stalks, rub with warm water for juice, filter dregs through silk, boil into paste in pottery jar. Mix with previous two ingredients to form pills, size of Sophora seeds. Take 15 pills per dose, children 3 pills, with Ginger Decoction.
