神效黄 汤 治两目紧急缩小，羞明畏日，或隐涩难开，或视物无力，睛痛昏花，手
不得近，或目少睛光，或目中热如火，服五六次，神效。
黄 （二两） 人参（去芦） 炙甘草 白芍药（各一两） 陈皮（去白，半两） 蔓荆子（二钱）
每服四五钱，水一盏八分，煎至一盏，去滓，临卧稍热服。如小便淋涩，加泽泻五分。
如有大热证，加黄柏三钱，酒炒四次。如麻木不仁，虽有热不用黄柏，再加黄 一两，如
眼紧小，去芍药。忌酒、醋、湿面、大料物、葱、韭、蒜及淡渗，生冷硬物。

连翘饮子 治目中溜火，恶日与火，隐涩，小角紧，久视昏花，迎风有泪。
连翘 当归 红葵花 蔓荆子 人参 甘草（生用） 生地黄（各三分） 柴胡（二分） 黄芩（酒
制） 黄 防风 羌活（各半钱） 升麻（一钱）
上锉，每服五钱，水二盏，煎至一盏，去滓，食后稍热服。
雷岩丸（见目昏。） 蝉花无比散（见通治。）
排风散 治两睑粘睛外障。
天麻 桔梗 防风（各二两） 五味子 乌蛇 细辛 芍药 干蝎（各一两）
上为细末，每服一钱，食后米饮调下。
龙胆丸 治眼两胞粘睛，赤烂成疮。
苦参 龙胆草 牛蒡子（各等分）
上为末，炼蜜丸，如梧桐子大。每服二十丸，食后米泔下。
广大重明汤（见外障。）
神效黄芪汤：治疗双眼眼睑紧急收缩、瞳孔缩小，羞明畏日，或者感觉眼部隐痛涩滞难以睁开，或者视物无力，眼球疼痛且视物昏花模糊，手不敢靠近眼睛，或者眼中缺乏神采光泽，或者眼中感觉热如火烧。服用五六次后，疗效显著。
药物组成：黄芪（二两）、人参（去芦头）、炙甘草、白芍药（各一两）、陈皮（去白瓤，半两）、蔓荆子（二钱）。
用法用量：每次服用四五钱药末，加水一盏八分，煎煮至一盏，滤去药渣，临睡前稍加热后服用。如果伴有小便淋沥涩痛的症状，加泽泻五分。如果有大热的证候，加黄柏三钱，用酒炒制四次。如果出现麻木不仁的症状，即使有热也不使用黄柏，再加黄芪一两。如果眼睑紧缩变小，去掉白芍药。忌食酒类、醋、湿面、大料食物、葱、韭菜、蒜以及淡渗利湿、生冷坚硬的食物。
连翘饮子：治疗眼中如流火般灼热，厌恶日光与火光，眼部隐痛涩滞，眼角紧绷，久视导致视物昏花，迎风流泪。
药物组成：连翘、当归、红葵花、蔓荆子、人参、甘草（生用）、生地黄（各三分）、柴胡（二分）、黄芩（酒制）、黄芪、防风、羌活（各半钱）、升麻（一钱）。
用法用量：将药材切碎，每次服用五钱，加水二盏，煎煮至一盏，滤去药渣，饭后稍加热后服用。
药物组成：天麻、桔梗、防风（各二两）、五味子、乌梢蛇、细辛、芍药、干蝎（各一两）。
用法用量：将药材研为细末，每次服用一钱，饭后用米汤调服。
用法用量：将药材研为细末，用炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用二十丸，饭后用淘米水送服。
Shenxiao Huangqi Decoction (Miraculous Efficacy Cinnamon Twig and Astragalus Decoction): Treats bilateral eyelid tension with pupil constriction, photophobia and aversion to sunlight, or a sensation of hidden soreness and stiffness making it difficult to open the eyes, or weak vision, eyeball pain with blurred vision, inability to tolerate touch near the eyes, lack of luster in the eyes, or a sensation of intense heat within the eyes as if on fire. After taking five or six doses, miraculous efficacy is achieved.
Ingredients: Huangqi [Astragali Radix] (2 liang), Renshen [Ginseng Radix] (deprived of rhizome), Zhi Gancao [Prepared Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma], Baishao Yao [Paeoniae Radix Alba] (each 1 liang), Chenpi [Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium] (deprived of white pith, 0.5 liang), Manjingzi [Viticis Fructus] (2 qian).
Administration: Take 4-5 qian per dose, add one zhan and eight fen of water, decoct until one zhan remains, strain, and take slightly warm before retiring. If accompanied by dysuria with strangury, add Zexie [Alismatis Rhizoma] (5 fen). If there are signs of severe heat, add Huangbai [Phellodendri Cortex] (3 qian), stir-fried four times with wine. If there is numbness and insensitivity, even if heat is present, do not use Huangbai; instead, add an additional 1 liang of Huangqi. If the eyelids are tight and constricted, remove Baishao Yao. Avoid alcohol, vinegar, damp wheat flour, strong spices, scallions, leeks, garlic, diuretic foods, and cold, raw, hard foods.

Lianqiao Yinzi (Forsythia Drink): Treats a sensation of flowing fire in the eyes, aversion to sunlight and fire, hidden soreness and stiffness, tightness at the canthi, blurred vision after prolonged viewing, and tearing upon exposure to wind.
Ingredients: Lianqiao [Forsythiae Fructus], Danggui [Angelicae Sinensis Radix], Hong Kuihua [Helianthi Annuus Flos], Manjingzi [Viticis Fructus], Renshen [Ginseng Radix], Gancao [Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma] (used raw), Sheng Dihuang [Rehmanniae Radix Recens] (each 3 fen), Chaihu [Bupleuri Radix] (2 fen), Huangqin [Scutellariae Radix] (prepared with wine), Huangqi [Astragali Radix], Fangfeng [Saposhnikoviae Radix], Qianghuo [Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix] (each 0.5 qian), Shengma [Cimicifugae Rhizoma] (1 qian).
Administration: Coarsely crush the herbs. Take 5 qian per dose, add two zhan of water, decoct until one zhan remains, strain, and take slightly warm after meals.

Paifeng San (Wind-Expelling Powder): Treats external obstruction where the upper and lower eyelids adhere to the eyeball.
Ingredients: Tianma [Gastrodiae Rhizoma], Jiegeng [Platycodonis Radix], Fangfeng [Saposhnikoviae Radix] (each 2 liang), Wuweizi [Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus], Wushe [Wagleri's Pit Viper], Xixin [Asari Radix et Rhizoma], Shaoyao [Paeoniae Radix], Ganxie [Dry Scorpion] (each 1 liang).
Administration: Grind into fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mix with rice water and swallow after meals.
Longdan Wan (Gentian Pill): Treats adhesion of the eyelids to the eyeball, with redness, ulceration, and sore formation.
Ingredients: Kushen [Sophorae Flavescentis Radix], Longdancao [Gentianae Radix], Niubangzi [Arctii Fructus] (equal parts).
Administration: Grind into powder, make pills with refined honey, sized like wutong seeds. Take 20 pills per dose, swallow with rice wash after meals.
