[Acupoint Diagram of the Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian I] (Total 21 acupoints)
[Acupoint Diagram of the Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian II]
Song of Acupoints on the Spleen Meridian:
The Foot-Taiyin Spleen Meridian is located in the Middle Jiao (the middle region of the torso where the spleen and stomach reside), comprising twenty-one acupoints. It begins with a tour of Yinbai (SP1), proceeds to Taidu (referring to the central abdominal area) to view Taibai, visits Gongsun (SP4), and arrives at Shangqiu (SP5). Crossing the intersection of the Three Yin meridians (Foot-Taiyin Spleen, Foot-Shaoyin Kidney, and Foot-Jueyin Liver), Lougu (SP7) and Diji (SP8) can be connected. Stepping into the spring of Yinlingquan (SP9), Xuehai (SP10) and Jimen (SP11) are sought. Entering Chongmen (SP12), Fushu (SP13) appears spacious; releasing Fujie (SP14), Daheng (SP15) lies leisurely. Fuai (SP16) and Shidou (SP17) connect, sharing the same source as Tianxi (BL22); Xiongxiang (ST21) and Zhourong (ST22) link, attaching to the Great Bag (Dabao, SP21) like a hook.
Song of Measurements for Acupoints on the Spleen Meridian:
Starting from the medial side of the big toe, locate Yinbai (SP1); seek Dadu (SP2) in the depression behind the joint; Taibai (SP3) is below the nuclear bone (base of the first metatarsal) on the medial side; Gongsun (SP4) is called one cun behind the joint; Shangqiu (SP5) is encountered in the depression anterior to the medial malleolus; Sanyinjiao (SP6) is three cun above the medial malleolus; Lougu (SP7) is six cun above the medial malleolus; Diji (SP8) faces five cun above the medial malleolus; Yinlingquan (SP9) is on the medial side below the knee; Xuehai (SP10) is on the upper medial margin of the patella; Jimen (SP11) is taken in the fleshy part of the thigh (fish belly), where the arterial pulse is felt passing between the tendons; Chongmen (SP12) is five fen below Qimen (LR14) (Note: Qimen is an acupoint of the Liver Meridian, four cun five fen lateral to Juque. Juque is an acupoint of the Ren Meridian, six cun five fen above the umbilicus); Fushu (SP13) is nine cun below Qimen; Fujie (SP14) is six cun eight fen below Qimen; Daheng (SP15) is five cun half below Qimen; Fuai (SP16) is two cun below Qimen; Qimen (LR14) manifests as an acupoint of the Liver Meridian, four cun five fen lateral to Juque, yet connecting to Spleen Meridian acupoints should not be done arbitrarily. From here upwards are Shidou (SP17), Tianxi (BL22), Xiongxiang (ST21), and Zhourong (ST22), running through each other, with distances of one cun six fen between them without much variation, and another one cun six fen upwards leads to Zhongfu (LU1) (Lung Meridian acupoint). Dabao (SP21) is six cun under the axilla, and Yuanli (GB24) is bound three cun under the axilla. (A total of forty-two acupoints on both sides.)
[Acupoint Diagram of the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian] (Total 9 acupoints)
Song of Acupoints on the Heart Meridian:
The Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian consists of nine acupoints. Ji Quan (HT1), Qing Ling (HT6), and Shao Hai (HT3) proceed forward; from Ling Dao (HT4) and Tong Li (HT5) it reaches, passing through Yin Nian (HT6 - *Note: Text says Yin Shen/Yin Nian contextually refers to Yin Nian HT6*) and Shen Men (HT7) to welcome, arriving at Shao Fu (HT8), and Shao Chong (HT9) can be found.
Song of Measurements for Acupoints on the Heart Meridian:
The Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian originates at Ji Quan (HT1), entering the chest via the arterial pulse between the tendons in the axilla. (In the inner arm under the axilla, the arterial pulse between tendons enters the chest). Qing Ling (HT6) is taken three cun above the elbow; Shao Hai (HT3) accommodates five fen behind the elbow (Note: Outside the large bone posterior to the medial epicondyle, five fen from the end of the elbow, flexing the joint towards the head yields this point). Ling Dao (HT4) is one cun and half distal to the wrist crease; Tong Li (HT5) is identical at one cun proximal to the wrist; Yin Nian (HT6) is half cun proximal to the wrist; Shen Men (HT7) is at the prominence of the Rui Gu (pisiform bone) distal to the palm; Shao Fu (HT8) is directly opposite Laogong (PC8) behind the joint; Shao Chong (HT9) is taken on the medial side of the little finger. (A total of nine acupoints, eighteen on both sides.)
