Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian
The meridian of the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder originates at the outer canthus (Tongziliao, GB1), ascends to the head corner, and descends behind the ear.
The meridian of the Foot Shaoyang Gallbladder begins at the outer canthus, Tongziliao (GB1). From here, it follows the Tinghui (GB2) and Kerenren (Shangguan, GB4) acupoints, ascends to the head corner, follows the Hanyan (GB5), and descends through Xuanlu (GB6) and Xuanli (GB7). It turns back from the exterior of Wanggu (GB12), follows Benshen (GB13), passes through Qucha (GV7 - *Note: Text implies intersection or proximity*), descends to Yangbai (GB14), meets Jingming (BL1). It then ascends from Jingming, following Linqi (GB15), Mucuang (GB16), Zhengying (GB17), Chengling (GB18), Naokong (GB19), and Fengchi (GB20) acupoints.
This meridian in the head, from Tongziliao to Fengchi, comprises twenty acupoints, forming three bends moving outward. The first bend is from Tongziliao to Wanggu; the second... difficult to ascertain the specific connection. Therefore, they are listed sequentially from one to twenty. One: Tongziliao (GB1); Two: Tinghui (GB2); Three: Kerenren (Shangguan, GB4); Four: Hanyan (GB5); Five: Xuanlu (GB6); Six: Xuanli (GB7); Seven: Qubin (GB7); Eight: Lvagu (GB8); Nine: Tianchong (GB9); Ten: Fubai (GB10); Eleven: Qiaoyin (GB11); Twelve: Wanggu (GB12); Thirteen: Benshen (GB13); Fourteen: Yangbai (GB14); Fifteen: Linqi (GB15); Sixteen: Mucuang (GB16); Seventeen: Zhengying (GB17); Eighteen: Chengling (GB18); Nineteen: Naokong (GB19); Twenty: Fengchi (GB20).
The meridian descends along the neck, running anterior to the Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian, reaches the shoulder, crosses posterior to the Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian, and enters the Quepen (GB12 area/Clavicular fossa). From Fengchi (GB20), it runs along the neck passing Tianyou (TE16), lateral to the Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian... outside the Quepen.
Its branch enters the ear from behind the ear, emerges anterior to the ear, and reaches the posterior aspect of the outer canthus.
