Yingu (KI10) governs penile flaccidity. It treats acute tension in the lower abdomen with pain radiating to the inner aspect of the penis. (*Qianjin Fang*) Dahu (ST46) and Ranggu (KI2) govern seminal emission with upward retraction. Taichong (LR3) governs the retraction of both testes. It treats a hard abdomen where one cannot lie down. (*Jia Yi Jing* records: pain around the navel, penile retraction, and contraction of both testes.) Shimen (CV5) governs hardness and pain in the lower abdomen, radiating downward to the genitalia, resulting in inability to urinate. It treats retraction of both testes. Yinjiao (CV7) governs abdominal hardness and pain radiating to the genitalia, resulting in inability to urinate. It treats retraction of both testes and penile retraction. Moxibustion on Zhongfeng (LR4). Dahu (ST46), (see entry for Seminal Loss); Zhongfeng (LR4) governs Wei-Jue syndrome (flaccidity and cold extremities). (See entry for Hernia). Ququan (LR8) governs anuria and penile flaccidity. Qichong (ST30) treats penile flaccidity with pain in the shaft. (*Qianjin Fang* records the same). Retraction of both testes with unbearable pain. (*Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing*) Wushu (GB26), (see entry for Hernia); Guilai (ST29) treats testicular retraction. (See entry for Genital Pain). Tendon spasm with penile retraction into the abdomen, causing mutual pulling pain. Moxibustion on Zhongfeng (LR4) for 50 moxa cones. Or less than 50 cones, adjusted according to age. It is also said that these two acupoints also govern throat swelling, Jue-Ni (reversal cold/heat), disorders of the Five Zang organs, and鼓胀 (abdominal distension/tympanites).
Dadun (LR1) governs prolapse of the external genitalia. Shaofu (HT8) governs elongation and protrusion of the external genitalia. (*Qianjin Fang* both seen under Hernia). Shangliao (BL31), (*Qianjin Fang* seen under Infertility), treats female genital prolapse with obstruction. (*Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing*). (See entry for Childlessness. Also governs bladder obstruction. *Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing* states it treats bladder torsion with inability to urinate). Lower back pain with difficult urination, suffering from bladder torsion. Moxibustion on Zhongji (CV3) for 7 cones. (Same dosage for children). Also moxibustion on the 15th vertebral spinous process. Or 1 cun or 4 cun below the umbilicus, determined by age. All cases of holding urine after a full meal, or riding horses, or having intercourse while holding urine, or running vigorously, can cause bladder torsion, leading to acute fullness below the navel and urinary obstruction. (Prescription seen in *Qianjin Fang*). When urine is not in the bladder sac, it is because the bladder is twisted or displaced, blocking the flow of fluids. Remove the tip of a green onion stalk, insert it deeply (3 cun) into the urethral meatus, and gently blow air into it. This will relieve bladder distension, restore fluid passage, and cure the condition.
