凡狂犬咋人，七日辄应一发，过三七日不发则免也。要过百日，乃为大免。每至七日，
辄当捣薤汁饮二、三升。又当终身禁食犬肉蚕蛹，若食此，发则不可救之。疮未瘥之间，亦
忌食生鱼，诸肥腻肉及诸冷食，但于饭下蒸生鱼，及就腻器中食便发，不宜饮酒，能过一年
乃佳。若重发者治之方。
生食蟾蜍脍绝良。亦可烧炙食之。不必令其人知，初得啮便为此，则不发。（《外台》卷

治疗蝎子螫伤人的方剂。
我曾经亲身遭受这种毒害，手指痛苦得无法忍受，各种治疗方法都无效，有人让我用冷水浸泡手指，同时也浸泡手部，疼痛立刻停止。水稍微变暖就会感到疼痛，就用冷水浸泡，水稍暖就更换。我在患处用浸过冷水的粗布敷贴，这确实非常有效。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
另一个方子：
蝎子有雄雌之分，雄蝎的止痛作用局限在一处，雌蝎的疼痛会牵连到全身各处。如果是雄蝎螫伤，用井底的泥土敷在患处，变温了就更换。如果是雌蝎螫伤，用屋檐下和沟渠下的泥土涂抹。如果没遇到下雨天，可以用从屋顶浇下来的新汲水，在下方接取泥土来敷贴。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
又一个方子：
在地上画一个十字，取十字交叉处的土，用水送服五分匕的量。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
治疗蠼蛄尿疮（一种皮肤溃烂性疾病）的方剂。
烧鹿角捣成粉末，用醋调和后敷在患处。如果已经有渗出液，烧路边破旧蒲席的灰来敷贴。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
另一个方子：
槐白皮（半斤，切碎），醋（二升）。
以上两味药，浸泡半天，刮去疮面后用此水洗，每天五、六次，最后将赤小豆研末与醋调和敷在患处，干燥了就更换。小儿患者用水调和敷贴，效果很好。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
又一个方子：
嚼碎大麦敷在患处，每天三次。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
又一个方子：
用猪油、燕子巢中的泥土，加醋调和后敷贴。（出自《医心方》卷十七）
治疗普通狗咬人的方剂。
用醋和灰涂抹患处，效果良好。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
另一个方子：
用火烤干肉灌入伤口中。（出自《医心方》卷十八）
又一个方子：
取灶中热的灰烬粉敷在伤口上，包扎敷贴，立即痊愈。（出自《医心方》卷十八）
取头垢少许放入疮口中，用热牛粪涂在上面较好。（出自《肘后备急方》卷七）
治疗狂犬咬人的方剂。
先用口吸吮排出恶血，在疮口上灸十壮，第二天去掉，每天灸一壮，满一百壮才停止。忌酒。（出自《肘后备急方》卷七）
另一个方子：
刮取虎牙或虎骨粉，服用一匕的量。已经发作像狂犬病症状的人，服用此药即可痊愈。（出自《肘后备急方》卷七）
又一个方子：
头发、人皮。
以上两味药，烧成粉末，等量混合，用水调服一杯。如果已经出现眼睛红、牙关紧闭的症状，折断牙齿强行灌下。（出自《肘后备急方》卷七）
对于多种方法治疗无效，毒素攻心使人烦乱，已经发出犬叫声的患者所用的方剂。
将骷髅骨烧成灰末，用东流水调和，服用一方寸匕的量，以病情停止为度。
凡是狂犬咬人，每七天就会发作一次，过了三个七天后不再发作就可以免除祸患。但要过了一百天，才算彻底安全。每到第七天，应当捣取薤汁饮用二、三升。另外应当终身禁食犬肉和蚕蛹，如果吃了这些，一旦发病就无法救治。在疮口未愈合期间，也忌食生鱼、各种肥腻肉类以及所有生冷食物，只要在饭下蒸过的生鱼，或者在油腻器皿中吃的食物就会引发疾病，不宜饮酒，能坚持过一年才好。如果再次发作的治疗方剂。
生吃蟾蜍肉片极好。也可以烧烤后食用。不必让病人知道，刚被咬时就这样做，就不会发病。（出自《外台秘要》卷四十）
Formulas for Treating Scorpion Stings.
I personally suffered from this venom; the pain in my fingers was unbearable, and all treatments proved ineffective. Someone advised me to soak my fingers and hands in cold water, which immediately relieved the pain. If the water became slightly warm, pain would return, so I would soak them in cold water again, replacing it as soon as it warmed up. I applied coarse cloth soaked in cold water to the affected area, which proved highly effective. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Another formula:
Scorpions have male and female genders. The analgesic effect of a male scorpion sting is localized to one area, whereas a female scorpion's sting causes pain that radiates throughout the body. For a male scorpion sting, apply mud from the bottom of a well to the site; replace it when it warms up. For a female scorpion sting, apply mud collected from under eaves and ditches. If it has not rained, collect new water poured from the roof and gather the mud from below to apply. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Yet another formula:
Draw a cross on the ground, take the soil from the intersection, and ingest it with water, using a dose of five fen bi. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Formulas for Treating Quwuchu Sores (a type of skin ulceration).
Burn deer horns, grind into powder, mix with vinegar, and apply to the lesion. If there is exudate, burn ashes from old rush mats by the roadside and apply them. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Another formula:
Cortex Sophorae Tomentosae (Banji, sliced), Vinegar (Ersheng).
Soak the above two ingredients for half a day. Scrape the surface of the sore and wash with this liquid five to six times daily. Finally, mix powder of Adzuki Bean with vinegar and apply to the area; replace when dry. For children, mix with water for application, which is very effective. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Yet another formula:
Chew barley and apply to the lesion three times a day. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Yet another formula:
Mix lard, soil from swallow nests, and vinegar, then apply. (From *Yixin Fang*, Vol. 17)
Formulas for Treating Ordinary Dog Bites.
Apply a mixture of vinegar and ash to the wound; this is beneficial. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
Another formula:
Heat cured meat and pour it into the wound. (From *Yixin Fang*, Vol. 18)
Yet another formula:
Take hot ash powder from the stove, apply to the wound, bandage, and it will heal immediately. (From *Yixin Fang*, Vol. 18)
Place a small amount of head dirt into the wound; applying hot cow dung on top is preferable. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 7)
Formulas for Treating Rabies Dog Bites.
First, suck out the bad blood with the mouth. Moxibustion should be applied ten zhuang directly on the wound. Remove the moxa residue the next day, then apply one zhuang daily until a total of one hundred zhuang are completed. Avoid alcohol. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 7)
Another formula:
Scrape Tiger Tooth or Tiger Bone into powder and ingest one bi dose. For those who have already developed symptoms resembling rabies, taking this medicine will lead to recovery. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 7)
Yet another formula:
Human Hair, Human Skin.
Burn the above two substances into powder, mix in equal parts, and drink one cup mixed with water. If the patient already exhibits red eyes and trismus (lockjaw), break the teeth open to administer the medicine. (From *Zhouhou Beiji Fang*, Vol. 7)
Formula for Cases Where Multiple Treatments Fail, Toxin Attacks the Heart Causing Restlessness, and the Patient Has Already Made Dog-like Sounds.
Burn skull bone into ash powder, mix with flowing water from the east, and ingest one cunbi dose. Stop when the condition subsides.
Generally, if bitten by a rabid dog, an attack occurs every seven days. If no attacks occur after three cycles of seven days (21 days), the danger passes. However, one must survive past one hundred days to be considered completely safe. On each seventh day, crush and drink two to three sheng of Allium fistulosum juice. Furthermore, one must abstain from eating dog meat and silkworm pupae for life; consuming these may trigger a relapse that is incurable. During the period before the wound heals, avoid raw fish, all fatty meats, and all cold foods. Even steamed raw fish served with rice or food eaten from greasy vessels can trigger the disease. Eating raw Toad meat slices is excellent. It can also be roasted and eaten. There is no need to inform the patient; doing this immediately after the bite prevents onset. (From *Waitai Miyao*, Vol. 40)
