验方家秘
1.血壅：一人遍身忽然肉出如锥痒痛不能饮食者名曰血壅。方用赤皮葱烧灰水淋之洗，内服淡豆豉汤数盏而愈。
2.眼胀又名肝胀：一人眼珠垂下至鼻，大便出血。名曰眼胀。方用羌活水煎数服即愈。
3.气奔：一人遍身皮底浑如波浪声痒不可忍 ，抓之血出不能止，名曰气奔。用党参 苦梗 青盐 细辛 各一两，水二碗煎服。饮尽便愈 。
4。血溃：一人眼内白眦俱黑，见物依旧，毛发直如铁条，不语如醉，名曰血溃。用五灵脂末二钱酒调下愈。
5。应声虫：一人腹中有物作声，随人语言，名曰应声虫。雷丸一味煎服而愈。板蓝汁一盏分五服服之。
6.胆疾：一人眼前常见禽虫飞去，捉之即无。此乃胆经为疾。用酸枣仁 羌活 玄明粉 青葙子 各一两为末。每用水煎二钱和渣日三服。
7.发虫：一人饮油五升方快意，此乃发入胃血裹化为虫也。用雄黄五钱，水调服。又方：饮白马尿一二碗即化。
8.失说物望：一人卧于寐，四肢不能动，只进得食，好大言说，吃物，谓之失说物望。如说某肉，即以其与看，不与食之。失他物望也。睡中流出馋涎即愈。
10.伤寒并热霍乱：一人忽然气上喘不能语，口中涎流吐逆，牙齿摇动，气出转大即闷绝。名曰伤寒并热霍乱。用大黄、党参、各五钱水煎服。
11.肋破肠出：一人肋破肠出臭秽，急以香油抹肠送入，即不出。又以党参，枸杞子，煎汤淋之，皮自合，吃猪肾粥十日愈。
12.初生无皮：一小儿初生遍身无皮，俱是赤肉，掘土坑卧一宿即生皮。又方：用早米粉干扑上后生皮乃止。
13.肾漏：一人玉茎硬不萎，精流无歇。时如针刺，捏之则脆。乃为肾满漏疾。用韭子、破故纸一两为末，每三钱，水煎日三服即止。
14.截肠：一人大肠头出寸余候干自退落又出。名截肠病。用苎麻油器盛坐之。饮大麻子汁数升愈。
15.蛭毒：一人夜醉饮水误吞水蛭，腹痛黄瘦，不进饮食，用小死鱼四个，猪油煎溶，搅匀，入巴豆十粒研烂。和田中干泥，丸入豆大，以田中冷水吞下一丸，泻下为度。
16.蛇毒：一诸疮如蛇出数寸，用硫黄末涂之即消。一人身及头面肉肿如蛇，用雨湿砖上青苔一钱水调涂立效。
17.粪毒：神应散，治春夏脚指丫湿烂。枯矾六钱 飞丹五钱 为末掺之。
18.便溲：一人小便频数，一日夜百余次，此脬气不足，服缩泉丸。益智仁 乌药等分为末，酒煮山药打糊为丸如桐子大。卧时用盐酒送下七十丸。
20.阳痿：一少年新婚，欲交媾，女子阻之，乃逆其意，遂为阳痿不举，五七日以秃笔烧灰，酒下二钱即起。
21.石瘕：一产妇因子死经断不行者半年，一日少腹急痛。阴户内有物如石硬，塞之而痛不禁。众医不识，青林曰此石瘕病也。用四物加桃仁 大黄 三棱 槟榔 元胡 附子 泽泻 血竭 两剂而愈。
22.疝气：一人疝气牵引小腹痛用炒蒺藜 炮附 栀子 各一两每三钱水煎服。
23.脉溢：一人毛窍节次血出，少闲不出即皮胀如鼓，口鼻眼目俱胀。合名曰脉溢。用生姜汁并水各一二盏服安。
24.蛇瘕：一人患蛇瘕，乃蛇精及液粘菜上，人误食之腹内成蛇，或食蛇亦有此症。其人常饥。食之即吐，用赤头蜈蚣一条焙末分二服酒下。
25.肠虫：一人大肠内虫出不断，断之复生。行坐不得。用鹤虱末水调服五钱自愈。
26.鱼泡：一小儿初生如鱼泡又如水晶。碎则水流。用密陀僧罗细掺之。一人浑身生泡如甘棠梨，破则出水，内有石一块如指甲大，其泡复生。抽尽肌肉不可治矣，急用三棱 莪术 各五钱 为末分三服酒调下。
27。舌出：一妇产子舌出不能收。以朱砂敷其舌，乃令作产儿状，以二女扶之，壁外渐堆盘盆令坠地声响，使妇闻而惊，舌则收安矣。
28。脑风：一人患头风，耳内常鸣，头上耳内有鸟雀啾啾之声，此头脑挟风所为也用归芎而愈。
29。头蛆：一人头皮内时有蛆出，以刀破皮，用丝瓜汁涂之，蛆出尽绝根。又方用蛇蜕研末麻油调擦，蛆出自愈。亦治身上无故生蛆。
30。眼血：一妇眼中忽有血，如射而出，或缘鼻流下，但出血多时，即经不止。乃阴虚相火之病，遂用归尾 生地 酒芍 加柴胡 黄柏 知母 条芩 侧柏叶 木通 桃仁 红花 水煎，食前服。数剂而愈。
31。颈肿：一人颈项肿与头相统按之坚硬，漏芦汤一剂。服下发。顷刻消散。
32。雷惊：一小儿七岁，闻雷则昏倒不知人事，以人参，归身 麦冬 少入五味，尽一斤后，闻雷自若。
33。肉线：一妇产后水道中出肉线一条，长三四尺，动之则痛欲绝。先服失笑散。次以带皮姜两斤，研烂入清油两斤，煎油干为度，用软绢兜起肉线，屈曲于水道边。以前姜熏之。冷则熨之，一日夜缩其大半，二日即尽，再服失笑散，芎归汤调理之。如线断不可治矣。
34.乳悬：一妇产后，两乳忽然细小，下垂过小腹，痛甚，名乳悬。用芎归各一斛，内用半斛，水煎服。余用烧烟熏鼻口。二料乃效。
35。腐骨;一人患肿毒溃后不时出一细骨。用生桐油调蜜陀僧如膏。绢摊贴妙。此亦内热骨乃所化之物也。
36.便血：用柏叶炒成灰研末，每日米汤调服二钱。或以柿饼烧成性亦用陈米饮调服二钱，连进十服，无不神效。
37.惊风：一小儿病惊风抽搐等症，用全蝎一个，要足尾俱全的。用苏薄荷四片，裹定火上炙焦，同研为末，白汤下，再服羌活膏而愈。
38.精虚：王元珪虚而滑精。备治不效。一医献方，用五倍子一两，茯苓二两蜜丸服之遂愈。此方一收一泻是以能尽其妙。
39.盗汗：用五倍子五钱焙干研极细末，以自己漱口水调敷脐上治盗汗如神。或用浮麦半合，大枣十二枚，煎服。此治痰喘盗汗为宜。
40.血臌：产后恶露不出，遂成血臌。医者束手。徐灵胎先生曰，此瘀血凝结非桃仁等所能下，用肉桂 黄连 人参 大黄 五灵脂 成剂，下其瘀血而腹渐平，思食而病若失而愈。（九按用抵当丸亦可。）
41.离魂：一人自觉形作两人，并卧不辨真假，不语，问亦无对，乃自离魂。用辰砂 人参 茯神 浓煎汤饮之，真者气爽假者形化也。再服十全大补除根。
42.肝虫：一人头面发热有光色，他人手近如火，治用蒜汁半两酒调下吐物如蛇悉安。
43.肉坏：一人鼻腥臭流水，以碗盛而视之，有铁色虾鱼，如米大走跃捉之即化为水，此肉坏矣。一日食鸡肉二次，一月而愈。
44.脐中出水：一人腹中如铁石，脐中水出，旋变作虫行之状，绕身匝皮，痒痛难忍。扒扫不尽。浓煎苍术汤浴之。以苍术加麝香水调服之而愈。
45.鳖瘕：一人患鳖瘕，痛有来止，或食鳖即痛。用鸡屎一斤炒黄，投酒中浸一宿，焙为末。仍用原浸酒调下。要白母鸡用猪油炒饭于食下屎取用。
46.鸡瘕：一人有病冷痰者，医曰因食白沦鸡过多故也。用蒜一枚煮服乃吐一物如升大，痰裹。开视之，乃鸡雏也。再服吐十三雏而愈。
47。尸奄：一人尸奄然死去，腹中气走如雷，用硫磺一两 焰硝五钱细研分三服。好酒煎觉烟起则止，温灌之，并时再服而安。
48.眼倒：一人眼中视物倒置，用藜芦瓜蒂为粗末，水煎服。得吐而愈。
49.气脱：一人腹胀经久忽泻数升，昼夜不止服药罔效。乃为气脱。用益智仁煎浓汤服之立效。
50.三阴出血：一妇人三阴交无故出血如射，将绝。以指按其窍。敷以布条，昏倒不知人事，以独参汤浓煎灌愈。
51.气郁：一人每至秋冬遍身发红点做痒，此寒气收敛腠理，阳气不得发越。拂郁内作也。宜以人参
52.飞毒：一人田间收稻。忽然遍身痒入骨髓。用食盐九钱泡汤三碗，每进一碗，探而吐之，三进三探，则不痒矣。
53.哮吼：僵蚕七条 焙黄为末米汤送下。茶清亦可。此方治哮吼立愈。
用鸡子二枚，敲损膜不可全损，浸尿缸内四日。煮吃下效。
54.吐血：一人大病后，身面俱黄，四肢无力，吐血成盆，诸药不效。螺狮十二枚，水漂去泥。连壳捣烂，夜露五更取澄清水服，四次黄去血止愈。
55.水肿：治十种水气，用大田螺四个，大蒜五个去皮，车前子三钱为末。右三味研合为饼，贴入脐中，以帕缚之，贴后少顷水从小便出肿消。
56.目疾火眼仙丹：羊胆一枚。割开入蜂蜜一钱 线扎紧，两手探匀，水煮一滚，即取出，冷水浸半日后用点眼疾。羊胆百草之精，蜂蜜百花之液。此为二百样草头方也。
57.头风：一人头风，六月畏寒，重裹棉絮，三十年不愈，予以荞麦粉两升，水调打饼两片，更换合头上微汗出即愈。此应加醋再炒乘热敷上勿令见风，冷则随换，勿间断。愈后鼻流黄水数日断根。
58.吞针：一女人误吞针入腹。用蚕豆煮熟同韭菜食之，针从大便出。又方：用活蛤蟆一只取出两眼来俾患人吞下立刻针同蛤蟆眼通下效。
60.绝产:用红花。肉桂各一两 麝香五分 炼蜜为丸豆大。每服二十九丸。牛膝煎汤送下。永无产矣。
61.风瘫：小灵丹。治湿气风瘫等症。能补十二经络。起阴发阳。开三焦，破积气，益子息，安五脏，除心热，壮筋骨，活气血，白发变黑.石中竹根半斤 防风四两 荆芥四两 细辛一升 四味和为一处 绢袋盛贮罈内文武火煮，放阴处七日后服之每空心服半钟为限神效。
62.气块：妇人经脉不调，渐成症瘕，气块，并皆治之。用香附一斤炒黄色 艾半斤用好醋煮炒黄色，右二味磨末。用醋打糊丸如桐子大。每服五十丸，淡醋汤下。日进二服。忌生冷油腻等物。或用当归 正田七各三钱酒水煎服，治妇人气块良效。
63.水臌：秘传水臌神方：用公鸡一只，用大麦连喂五天，取下鸡粪一升炒黄，好酒一瓶浸鸡粪，煮作一碗。沥去渣令病人吃一碗，少时腹中气大转舒作鸣，从大便而出，其肿渐消。如利未尽，再服一二次。必然尽消。如泻利不止，用田螺四个，酒啐煮吃。即以温粥食之。如肿消，再用肾气丸、六君子汤和平之药调理可也。鸡屎善能逐水，而又通上性无微不入，将所蓄之水尽归大肠而泻。此方夺造化之奇，诚万金不传之方也，此治水臌极效。看法用白盐四两炒热，绢包放脐上，若水臌盐化为水，外再以手按之不起者水臌。随手起者气臌，周身老黑色内有黑点者血臌，又身热如火，寒热如疟，腹胀脉大，先肢后腹，大便滑泄，阴茎肿烂，泻后青筋起，均属难治。至于唇口黑，脾绝。手足心平，肾绝。肚脐翻笑胃陷。皆为不治之症。
64.气臌：方用姜汁炒远志肉五钱，水煎服。下气通即愈。气喘水盛宜黑锡丹，吐酸附子理中加黄连。
又方：用鸡内金一副、沉香 砂仁各三钱 陈香橼五钱 共为末。每服一钱半，姜汤下神效。
65.血臌：血臌腹如抱瓮，用六君子加干姜 川芎 防己为末，以陈米荷叶汤泛丸，一月愈。看法面色萎黄，爪纹白，多怒，善忘，口燥，便秘，胸紧，肋胀，腹疼等症，盐敷脐中，色变红者，血臌是也。若胀成，腹大如箕。遂不可救，每服三钱，日两服，夜一服。服一月渐愈。此执中央以运四旁法也。
66.癣疮：癣疮妙方。土木槿皮三钱 芦荟 蛇床子 尖槟榔各二钱 生半夏 炒白芨 大枫子各三钱 生大黄四钱 炙甘草 白杏仁 番木鳖 炒苦参 雷丸 硫磺各一钱半。共为末好醋调涂患处。
67.血蛊：妇人血蛊。方用马鞭草及刘寄奴草煎汤服。或为末服。此治血盅神药也。又方：喻氏用六君加川芎 北姜 防己 为末。陈米荷叶煎汤泛丸，日两服。
68.腹胀面黄：有人腹胀面黄，百药不效，遇一名医云，是石蚘。极难医治。取死人棺中枕，煮水与服。吐出蚘蛊坚如石者数升。
69.水臌：看法手按之下陷不起者，是也。用雄猪肚一个，去净内脏，老丝瓜筋半条 土狗子又名蝼蛄十个 小黑公牛粪一泡 紫背浮萍一两 以上各药共装肚内，以麻线缝好，放新沙锅内加水，内用桑柴火煮烂，去净浮油。煮好去药，将肚温水洗净，竹刀切片，仍入原汤中再加赤茯苓皮 大腹皮 生姜皮 广陈皮 生桑白皮 各三钱 甘遂 大戟 均用面包煨，醋炒芫花各二钱 用文武火再熬数滚原汁约有一大药碗。将药去净，猪肚与汁分作二次或三次服下。听其自利。其水由大小便出。其臌立消。服此之日，务须依法。严忌，盐酱一百二十天为要。每日用真秋石可代盐。此治水臌第一神方，不可轻忽。
验方家秘
1. 血壅：有一人全身突然长出肉疙瘩，像针扎一样又痒又痛，无法进食，这叫做“血壅”。方子用赤皮葱烧成灰，用水淋滤后清洗患处，内服淡豆豉汤几碗即可痊愈。
2. 眼胀（又名肝胀）：有一人眼球下垂至鼻梁处，大便出血。这叫做“眼胀”。方子用羌活水煎，服用几次即愈。
3. 气奔：有一人全身皮肤底下仿佛有波浪声，瘙痒难忍，抓破后血流不止，这叫做“气奔”。用党参、桔梗、青盐、细辛各一两，加水两碗煎服。喝完药便痊愈。
4. 血溃：有一人双眼内眼角发黑，视力依旧正常，毛发直立如铁条，不语如同醉酒，这叫做“血溃”。用五灵脂末二钱，酒调服下即愈。
5. 应声虫：有一人腹中有物体发出声音，随着人的说话声而响，这叫做“应声虫”。单用雷丸煎服即愈。也可用板蓝根汁一盏，分五次服用。
6. 胆疾：有一人眼前常看见禽虫飞走，去捉时就没有了。这是胆经患病。用酸枣仁、羌活、玄明粉、青葙子各一两研为末。每次取二钱用水煎，连同药渣一起服用，每日三次。
7. 发虫：有一人喝了五升油才觉得痛快，这是因为头发进入胃中，被血液包裹化为虫。用雄黄五钱，水调服。另一方法：喝白马尿一二碗，虫子即化。
8. 失说物望：有一人在睡眠中，四肢不能动，只能进食，喜欢大声说话，想吃东西，这叫“失说物望”。如果他说某种肉，就给他看那种肉，但不给他吃。这就是他想要的其他东西。睡梦中流出馋涎口水即愈。
9. 甲锥：有一人手足指甲突然生长，倒生肉刺像锥子一样，吃葵菜即愈。
10. 伤寒并热霍乱：有一人突然气逆喘息不能说话，口中流涎呕吐，牙齿松动，呼气加重则昏厥。这叫做“伤寒并热霍乱”。用大黄、党参各五钱，水煎服。
11. 肋破肠出：有一人肋骨破裂，肠子流出且恶臭，急忙用香油涂抹肠子送入体内，就不再脱出。再用党参、枸杞子煎汤淋洗，皮肤自然愈合，吃猪肾粥十天即愈。
12. 初生无皮：一个婴儿出生时全身没有皮，全是红肉，挖个土坑躺一晚就长出了皮。另一方法：用早米粉干粉扑在身上，之后长出皮才停止。
13. 肾漏：有一人阴茎勃起不萎软，精液流出不停歇。感觉像针刺一样，捏起来则脆。这是肾满漏疾。用韭子、补骨脂一两研为末，每次三钱，水煎，每日三次服用即止。
14. 截肠：有一人大肠头脱出寸余，等待变干后自行脱落，然后又脱出。这叫做截肠病。用苎麻油盛在容器中坐浴。饮大麻子汁几升即愈。
15. 蛭毒：有一人夜间醉酒喝水误吞了水蛭，腹痛消瘦发黄，不进饮食。用四条小鱼，猪油煎溶，搅匀，加入十粒研烂的巴豆。和上田里的干泥，做成豆大的丸子，用田里的冷水吞下一丸，以泻下为度。
16. 蛇毒：一种疮疡像蛇一样伸出数寸，用硫黄末涂抹即消。一人身体及头面部肉肿像蛇，用雨湿砖上的青苔一钱，水调涂敷，立即见效。
17. 粪毒：神应散，治疗春夏季节脚趾缝湿烂。枯矾六钱、飞朱砂五钱研为末，撒在患处。
18. 便溲：有一人小便频数，一天一夜一百多次，这是膀胱气不足，服用缩泉丸。益智仁、乌药等分为末，酒煮山药打糊制成梧桐子大小的丸药。睡觉时用盐水送下七十丸。
19. 牙疼：新挖掘的李树根取白皮捣碎，浓浸，时时含漱，可绝根治愈。
20. 阳痿：一个少年新婚，想要交媾，女子阻止，违背了他的意愿，于是导致阳痿不举。五七天内将秃笔烧成灰，酒送下二钱即起效。
21. 石瘕：一位产妇因胎儿死亡月经半年不行，一天少腹急痛。阴户内有物如石头坚硬，堵塞且疼痛不禁。众医不识，青林说这是石瘕病。用四物汤加桃仁、大黄、三棱、槟榔、元胡、附子、泽泻、血竭，两剂即愈。
22. 疝气：一人疝气牵引小腹痛，用炒蒺藜、炮附子、栀子各一两，每次三钱水煎服。
23. 脉溢：一人毛孔依次出血，稍停不出则皮肤肿胀如鼓，口鼻眼目都肿胀。合称“脉溢”。用生姜汁和水各一二盏服用即安。
24. 蛇瘕：一人患蛇瘕，是蛇精及粘液粘在菜上，人误食后腹内成蛇，或吃了蛇也有此症。此人常感饥饿，吃东西就吐，用一条赤头蜈蚣焙干研末，分两次酒送下。
25. 肠虫：一人大肠内虫子不断排出，断了又生。行走坐卧不得安宁。用鹤虱末水调服五钱自愈。
26. 鱼泡：一个婴儿出生像鱼泡又如水晶，碎了水流出来。用密陀僧研细撒在患处。一人浑身生泡像甘棠梨，破了出水，里面有一块指甲大的石头，泡又再生，抽尽肌肉不可治，急忙用三棱、莪术各五钱研末，分三次酒调服下。
27. 舌出：一妇产子后舌头伸出不能收回。用朱砂敷在舌头上，然后让她做出分娩的样子，让两个女人扶着她，在墙外逐渐堆放盘盆使其落地发出声响，让妇人听到受惊，舌头就收回安好了。
28. 脑风：一人患头风，耳内常鸣，头上耳内有鸟雀啾啾的声音，这是头脑挟风所致，用当归、川芎即愈。
29. 头蛆：一人头皮内有时有蛆虫爬出，用刀划破皮，用丝瓜汁涂之，蛆虫出尽绝根。另一方法用蛇蜕研末，麻油调擦，蛆虫自出而愈。也治疗身上无故生蛆。
30. 眼血：一妇眼中忽然有血射出，或者从鼻子流下，但出血多时，月经就不止。这是阴虚相火之病，遂用归尾、生地、酒芍药，加柴胡、黄柏、知母、黄芩、侧柏叶、木通、桃仁、红花，水煎，饭前服用。几剂即愈。
31. 颈肿：一人颈项肿胀与头相连，按之坚硬，用漏芦汤一剂。服下发汗，顷刻消散。
32. 雷惊：一个七岁小儿，听到雷声就昏倒不知人事，用人参、当归身、麦冬，少量五味子，总共一斤后，再听雷声自如。
33. 肉线：一妇产后阴道中出一条肉线，长三四尺，触动则痛欲绝。先服失笑散。然后用带皮姜两斤，研烂加入清油两斤，煎至油干为止，用软绢兜起肉线，弯曲放在阴道边。用前面的姜熏蒸。冷了就熨烫，一天一夜收缩大半，两天即完全消失，再服失笑散、芎归汤调理。如果线断了不可治。
34. 乳悬：一妇产后，两乳突然细小，下垂过小腹，疼痛剧烈，名叫乳悬。用川芎、当归各一斛，其中半斛水煎服。剩下的烧烟熏鼻口。两料才见效。
35. 腐骨：一人患肿毒溃烂后不时出一根细骨。用生桐油调蜜陀僧如膏状。绢布摊贴妙。这也是内热使骨所化的东西。
36. 便血：用柏叶炒成灰研末，每日米汤调服二钱。或者将柿饼烧存性，也用陈米饮调服二钱，连续进十服，无不神效。
37. 惊风：一个小儿患惊风抽搐等症状，用一个全蝎，要足尾俱全的。用苏薄荷四片，裹定在火上烤焦，同研为末，白开水送下，再服羌活膏即愈。
38. 精虚：王元珪体虚滑精。各种治疗无效。一医生献方，用五倍子一两，茯苓二两，蜜丸服用即愈。此方一收一泻，所以能尽其妙。
39. 盗汗：用五倍子五钱焙干研极细末，用自己漱口水调敷脐上，治盗汗如神。或者用浮麦半合，大枣十二枚，煎服。这治疗痰喘盗汗为宜。
40. 血臌：产后恶露不出，遂成血臌。医者束手。徐灵胎先生说，这是瘀血凝结，非桃仁等所能下，用肉桂、黄连、人参、大黄、五灵脂成剂，下其瘀血而腹渐平，思食而病若失而愈。（九按：用抵当丸亦可。）

49. 气脱：一人腹胀经久忽泻数升，昼夜不止服药罔效。乃为气脱。用益智仁煎浓汤服之立效。
50. 三阴出血：一妇人三阴交无故出血如射，将绝。以指按其窍。敷以布条，昏倒不知人事，以独参汤浓煎灌愈。
51. 气郁：一人每至秋冬遍身发红点做痒，此寒气收敛腠理，阳气不得发越。拂郁内作也。宜以人参
52. 飞毒：一人田间收稻。忽然遍身痒入骨髓。用食盐九钱泡汤三碗，每进一碗，探而吐之，三进三探，则不痒矣。
53. 哮吼：僵蚕七条 焙黄为末米汤送下。茶清亦可。此方治哮吼立愈。
用鸡子二枚，敲损膜不可全损，浸尿缸内四日。煮吃下效。
54. 吐血：一人大病后，身面俱黄，四肢无力，吐血成盆，诸药不效。螺狮十二枚，水漂去泥。连壳捣烂，夜露五更取澄清水服，四次黄去血止愈。
55. 水肿：治十种水气，用大田螺四个，大蒜五个去皮，车前子三钱为末。右三味研合为饼，贴入脐中，以帕缚之，贴后少顷水从小便出肿消。
56. 目疾火眼仙丹：羊胆一枚。割开入蜂蜜一钱 线扎紧，两手探匀，水煮一滚，即取出，冷水浸半日后用点眼疾。羊胆百草之精，蜂蜜百花之液。此为二百样草头方也。
57. 头风：一人头风，六月畏寒，重裹棉絮，三十年不愈，予以荞麦粉两升，水调打饼两片，更换合头上微汗出即愈。此应加醋再炒乘热敷上勿令见风，冷则随换，勿间断。愈后鼻流黄水数日断根。
58. 吞针：一女人误吞针入腹。用蚕豆煮熟同韭菜食之，针从大便出。又方：用活蛤蟆一只取出两眼来俾患人吞下立刻针同蛤蟆眼通下效。
60. 绝产:用红花。肉桂各一两 麝香五分 炼蜜为丸豆大。每服二十九丸。牛膝煎汤送下。永无产矣。
61. 风瘫：小灵丹。治湿气风瘫等症。能补十二经络。起阴发阳。开三焦，破积气，益子息，安五脏，除心热，壮筋骨，活气血，白发变黑.石中竹根半斤 防风四两 荆芥四两 细辛一升 四味和为一处 绢袋盛贮罈内文武火煮，放阴处七日后服之每空心服半钟为限神效。
62. 气块：妇人经脉不调，渐成症瘕，气块，并皆治之。用香附一斤炒黄色 艾半斤用好醋煮炒黄色，右二味磨末。用醋打糊丸如桐子大。每服五十丸，淡醋汤下。日进二服。忌生冷油腻等物。或用当归 正田七各三钱酒水煎服，治妇人气块良效。
63. 水臌：秘传水臌神方：用公鸡一只，用大麦连喂五天，取下鸡粪一升炒黄，好酒一瓶浸鸡粪，煮作一碗。沥去渣令病人吃一碗，少时腹中气大转舒作鸣，从大便而出，其肿渐消。如利未尽，再服一二次。必然尽消。如泻利不止，用田螺四个，酒啐煮吃。即以温粥食之。如肿消，再用肾气丸、六君子汤和平之药调理可也。鸡屎善能逐水，而又通上性无微不入，将所蓄之水尽归大肠而泻。此方夺造化之奇，诚万金不传之方也，此治水臌极效。看法用白盐四两炒热，绢包放脐上，若水臌盐化为水，外再以手按之不起者水臌。随手起者气臌，周身老黑色内有黑点者血臌，又身热如火，寒热如疟，腹胀脉大，先肢后腹，大便滑泄，阴茎肿烂，泻后青筋起，均属难治。至于唇口黑，脾绝。手足心平，肾绝。肚脐翻笑胃陷。皆为不治之症。
64. 气臌：方用姜汁炒远志肉五钱，水煎服。下气通即愈。气喘水盛宜黑锡丹，吐酸附子理中加黄连。
又方：用鸡内金一副、沉香 砂仁各三钱 陈香橼五钱 共为末。每服一钱半，姜汤下神效。
65. 血臌：血臌腹如抱瓮，用六君子加干姜 川芎 防己为末，以陈米荷叶汤泛丸，一月愈。看法面色萎黄，爪纹白，多怒，善忘，口燥，便秘，胸紧，肋胀，腹疼等症，盐敷脐中，色变红者，血臌是也。若胀成，腹大如箕。遂不可救，每服三钱，日两服，夜一服。服一月渐愈。此执中央以运四旁法也。
66. 癣疮：癣疮妙方。土木槿皮三钱 芦荟 蛇床子 尖槟榔各二钱 生半夏 炒白芨 大枫子各三钱 生大黄四钱 炙甘草 白杏仁 番木鳖 炒苦参 雷丸 硫磺各一钱半。共为末好醋调涂患处。
67. 血蛊：妇人血蛊。方用马鞭草及刘寄奴草煎汤服。或为末服。此治血盅神药也。又方：喻氏用六君加川芎 北姜 防己 为末。陈米荷叶煎汤泛丸，日两服。
68. 腹胀面黄：有人腹胀面黄，百药不效，遇一名医云，是石蚘。极难医治。取死人棺中枕，煮水与服。吐出蚘蛊坚如石者数升。
69. 水臌：看法手按之下陷不起者，是也。用雄猪肚一个，去净内脏，老丝瓜筋半条 土狗子又名蝼蛄十个 小黑公牛粪一泡 紫背浮萍一两 以上各药共装肚内，以麻线缝好，放新沙锅内加水，内用桑柴火煮烂，去净浮油。煮好去药，将肚温水洗净，竹刀切片，仍入原汤中再加赤茯苓皮 大腹皮 生姜皮 广陈皮 生桑白皮 各三钱 甘遂 大戟 均用面包煨，醋炒芫花各二钱 用文武火再熬数滚原汁约有一大药碗。将药去净，猪肚与汁分作二次或三次服下。听其自利。其水由大小便出。其臌立消。服此之日，务须依法。严忌，盐酱一百二十天为要。每日用真秋石可代盐。此治水臌第一神方，不可轻忽。
Yan Fang Jia Mi (Secret Family Prescriptions)
Shanye Jushi (Hermit of the Mountains and Wilds)
1. Blood Stagnation (Xue Yong): A person suddenly developed flesh bumps all over their body, itching and painful like needle pricks, unable to eat. This is called "Blood Stagnation". The prescription uses red-skin scallions burnt to ash, leached with water for washing. Internally, drink several bowls of Dan Dou Chi Tang (Light Fermented Soybean Decoction) to recover.
2. Eye Distension (also known as Liver Distension - Gan Zhang): A person's eyeballs drooped down to the nose bridge, accompanied by hematochezia (blood in stool). This is called "Eye Distension". The prescription uses Qiang Huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix) decocted in water; a few doses cure it.
3. Qi Rush (Qi Ben): A person felt waves moving under the skin all over the body, unbearable itching, scratching caused unceasing bleeding. This is called "Qi Rush". Use Dang Shen (Codonopsis Radix), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix), Qing Yan (Green Salt), and Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), each one liang (approx. 30-37g), decocted in two bowls of water. Drinking it all brings recovery.
4. Blood Ulceration (Xue Kui): A person had blackening of the inner canthi of both eyes, vision remained normal, hair stood stiffly like iron rods, speechlessness resembling drunkenness. This is called "Blood Ulceration". Use Wu Ling Zhi (Trogopteri Dung) powder, two qian (approx. 6-7.5g), mixed with wine and taken orally to cure.
5. Echoing Worm (Ying Sheng Chong): A person had an object in the abdomen making sounds that echoed human speech. This is called "Echoing Worm". Single herb Lei Wan (Omphalia Lapponica) decocted and taken cures it. Alternatively, Ban Lan Gen (Isatidis Radix) juice, one zhan (approx. 50ml), divided into five doses.
6. Gallbladder Disease (Dan Ji): A person constantly saw birds and insects flying away before their eyes; when grasped, they disappeared. This is a disease of the Gallbladder Meridian. Use Suan Zao Ren (Ziziphi Spinosae Semen), Qiang Huo, Xuan Ming Fen (Mirabilite), and Qing Xiang Zi (Pharbitidis Semen), each one liang, ground into powder. Take two qian decocted in water, including the dregs, three times daily.
7. Hair Worm (Fa Chong): A person drank five sheng (approx. 5 liters) of oil before feeling satisfied. This is because hair entered the stomach, wrapped in blood, and transformed into worms. Use Xiong Huang (Realgar), five qian, mixed with water and taken. Another method: Drink one or two bowls of white horse urine to dissolve the worms.
8. Loss of Object Desire (Shi Shuo Wu Wang): A person lying asleep could not move limbs, could only eat, spoke loudly, and desired food. This is called "Loss of Object Desire". If they mention a certain meat, show it to them but do not feed it to them. This addresses their desire for other objects. Saliva flowing during sleep indicates cure.
9. Nail Cone (Jia Zhui): A person's fingernails and toenails suddenly grew, with ingrown spicules like cones. Eating Kai Cai (Sunflower Sprouts) cures it.
10. Cold Damage and Hot Cholera (Shang Han Bing Re Huo Luan): A person suddenly experienced upward rushing qi, panting, inability to speak, salivation, vomiting, loose teeth, and fainting upon deep exhalation. This is called "Cold Damage and Hot Cholera". Use Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) and Dang Shen, each five qian, decocted in water and taken.
11. Ribs Broken, Intestines Protruding (Lei Po Chang Chu): A person's ribs were broken, intestines protruded and smelled foul. Quickly apply sesame oil to the intestines and push them back in so they do not protrude again. Then pour a decoction of Dang Shen and Gou Qi Zi (Lycium Fruit) over the area; the skin heals naturally. Eat pig kidney porridge for ten days to recover.
12. Newborn Without Skin: An infant born without skin, showing only red flesh. Lying in a dug earth pit overnight causes skin to grow. Another method: Dust the body with dry early rice flour until skin grows.
13. Kidney Leakage (Shen Lou): A person had a persistent erection without flaccidity, continuous seminal emission, sensation like needle pricks, and fragility upon palpation. This is Kidney Fullness Leakage Disease. Use Jiu Zi (Allii Tuberosi Semen) and Po Gu Zhi (Psoraleae Fructus), one liang, ground into powder. Take three qian decocted in water, three times daily to stop symptoms.
14. Truncated Intestine (Jie Chang): A person's large intestine prolapsed more than one cun (approx. 3-4 cm), dried out, fell off spontaneously, then prolapsed again. This is called Truncated Intestine Disease. Sit in a container filled with Zhu Ma You (Ramie Seed Oil). Drink several sheng of Da Ma Zi (Hemp Seed) juice to recover.
15. Leech Poison (Zhi Du): A person accidentally swallowed a leech while drinking water after getting drunk at night, resulting in abdominal pain, yellow emaciation, and loss of appetite. Use four small dead fish, melt pork fat, mix evenly, add ten crushed Ba Dou (Croton Seed). Mix with dry field mud, form pills the size of beans. Swallow one pill with cold field water until purged.
16. Snake Poison (She Du): For sores extending like snakes several inches long, apply Liu Huang (Sulfur) powder to eliminate them. For a person with swollen flesh on the body and face resembling a snake, apply one qian of green moss from rain-wetted bricks mixed with water for immediate effect.
17. Feces Poison (Fen Du): Shen Ying San treats wet rot between toes in spring and summer. Ku Fan (Alumen) six qian, Fei Dan (Prepared Cinnabar) five qian, ground into powder and sprinkled on the affected area.
18. Frequent Urination (Bian Sou): A person urinated frequently, over a hundred times day and night, due to insufficient Bladder Qi. Take Suo Quan Wan (Bladder-Qi-Retaining Pill). Yi Zhi Ren (Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus) and Wu Yao (Linderae Radix) in equal parts, ground into powder. Make pills using Shan Yao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) paste cooked in wine, sized like wu-tze seeds. Take seventy pills with salted wine before bed.
19. Toothache (Ya Teng): Take the white bark from newly dug Li tree (Prunus salicina) roots, crush finely, steep strongly, and swish frequently to eradicate the cause.
20. Impotence (Yang Wei): A young man on his wedding night was prevented from intercourse by his wife, frustrating him and causing impotence. Burn a bald brush to ash within five to seven days, take two qian with wine to restore function.
21. Stone Mass (Shi Xia): A female patient had no menstruation for half a year after fetal death, experiencing sudden lower abdominal acute pain. A stone-hard mass inside the vagina caused unbearable pain. Physicians did not recognize it; Qing Lin diagnosed it as Stone Mass. Use Si Wu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) plus Tao Ren (Persicae Semen), Da Huang, San Leng (Curcumae Radix), Bing Lang (Arecae Semen), Yuan Hu (Corydalis Rhizoma), Fu Zi (Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata), Ze Xie (Alismatis Rhizoma), and Xue Jie (Dragon's Blood). Two doses cured it.
22. Hernia Qi (Shan Qi): Hernia pain radiating to the lower abdomen. Use Chao Ji Li (Tribuli Fructus stir-fried), Pao Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Root), and Zhi Zi (Gardeniae Fructus), each one liang. Take three qian decocted in water per dose.
23. Vessel Overflow (Mai Yi): Blood oozes sequentially from pores; if it stops briefly, the skin swells like a drum, and mouth, nose, eyes, and face swell. This is collectively called "Vessel Overflow". Take one or two zhan of Sheng Jiang Zhi (Fresh Ginger Juice) mixed with water to settle symptoms.
24. Snake Mass (She Xia): A person suffered from Snake Mass, caused by snake essence and mucus adhering to vegetables, which humans accidentally ingest, forming a snake in the abdomen, or by eating snakes directly. The patient feels constant hunger but vomits after eating. Roast one Red-headed Centipede (Chi Tou Wu Gong), grind into powder, divide into two doses, take with wine.
25. Intestinal Worms (Chang Chong): Intestinal worms continuously expelled; if cut, they regenerate. Difficulty walking or sitting. Take He Shi (Narthecii Fructus) powder mixed with water, five qian, to self-heal.
26. Fish Bladder (Yu Pao): An infant born looking like a fish bladder or crystal; breaking it releases water. Apply Mi Tuo Seng (Litharge) fine powder. Another case: Blisters all over the body like pear trees, releasing water when broken, containing a nail-sized stone inside; blisters recur. Once muscles are depleted, it is incurable. Urgently use San Leng and E Zhu (Curcumae Rhizoma), each five qian, ground into powder, divided into three doses, taken with wine.
27. Tongue Prolapse (She Chu): After childbirth, a woman's tongue protruded and could not retract. Apply Zhu Sha (Cinnabar) to the tongue. Mimic childbirth posture, have two women support her, stack basins outside the wall to make noise upon falling, startling the woman, causing the tongue to retract safely.
28. Brain Wind (Nao Feng): A person suffered from Head Wind, constant tinnitus, and bird-like chirping sounds in the head and ears, caused by wind invading the brain. Gui Xin (Angelicae Sinensis Radix and Chuanxiong Rhizoma) cured it.
29. Head Maggots (Tou Qu): Maggots occasionally emerged from the scalp. Incise the skin with a knife, apply Si Gua Zhi (Luffa Fruit Juice); maggots emerge completely and are eradicated. Another method: Grind She Tui (Snake Slough) into powder, mix with Sesame Oil, and rub; maggots exit and heal. Also treats spontaneous maggot growth on the body.
30. Eye Bleeding (Yan Xue): Blood suddenly shot from a woman's eye or flowed from the nose; excessive bleeding caused menorrhagia. This is Yin Deficiency with Ministerial Fire. Use Gui Wei (Angelicae Sinensis Radix tail), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Jiu Shao Yao (Wine-processed Peony Root), plus Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix), Huang Bo (Phellodendri Cortex), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix), Ce Bai Ye (Biota Top Leaf), Mu Tong (Akebiae Caulis), Tao Ren, and Hong Hua (Carthami Flos). Decoct in water, take before meals. Several doses cured it.
31. Neck Swelling (Jing Zhong): Neck swelling connected to the head, hard to touch. One dose of Lou Lu Tang (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Decoction) induced sweating and dissipated the swelling instantly.
32. Thunder Fright (Lei Jing): A seven-year-old child fainted upon hearing thunder. Use Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix), Dang Gui Shen (Angelicae Sinensis Radix root portion), Mai Dong (Ophiopogonis Radix), and a small amount of Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Fructus). Total weight one jin (approx. 500g); after consumption, thunder no longer frightens the child.
33. Meat Cord (Rou Xian): After childbirth, a meat cord three to four chi (approx. 1-1.3 meters) long emerged from the vaginal canal; touching it caused excruciating pain. First, take Shi Xiao San (Pain-Stopping Powder). Then, take two jin of ginger with skin, crush, add two jin of clear oil, boil until oil is dry. Wrap the meat cord in soft silk, place it curved beside the vaginal opening. Fumigate with the ginger. Warm if cool. It shrunk significantly in one day and night, fully resolved in two days. Take Shi Xiao San again, then Xiong Gui Tang (Cyperi and Angelica Decoction) for regulation. If the cord breaks, it is incurable.
34. Hanging Breast (Ru Xuan): After childbirth, breasts suddenly became small, hung below the lower abdomen, causing severe pain. Named "Hanging Breast". Use Xiong (Cyperi Rhizoma) and Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), each one hu (large unit); decoct half in water and drink. Smoke the rest and inhale through nose and mouth. Two courses effective.
35. Rotting Bone (Fu Gu): After abscess rupture, a thin bone occasionally emerged. Mix Sheng Tong You (Raw Tung Oil) and Mi Tuo Seng (Litharge) into a paste. Apply on silk dressing. This is also a product of internal heat transforming bone.
36. Hematochezia (Bian Xue): Stir-fry Bai Ye (Membranaceae Twig) to ash, grind to powder. Take two qian daily mixed with rice gruel. Or burn Shi Bing (Kaki Fruit) to retain its nature, take two qian with aged rice water. Ten doses guarantee miraculous effect.
37. Convulsive Disease (Jing Feng): Infant suffering from convulsions. Use one whole Xie (Scorpion), complete with legs and tail. Wrap in four leaves of Su Bo He (Mentha Haplocalyx), roast over fire until scorched, grind together. Take with warm water, followed by Qiang Huo Gao (Notopterygium Paste) to cure.
38. Essence Deficiency (Jing Xu): Wang Yuangui suffered from deficiency and spermatorrhea. Various treatments failed. A doctor prescribed Wu Bei Zi (Galla Chinensis) one liang, Fu Ling (Poria) two liang, honey-pilled. Recovery ensued. This formula combines astringency and draining, achieving excellence.
39. Night Sweats (Dao Han): Roast Wu Bei Zi five qian, grind extremely fine. Mix with own saliva, apply to navel for miraculous night sweat treatment. Alternatively, use Fu Mai (Floating Wheat) half he, twelve dates, decoct and drink. Suitable for phlegm-wheezing night sweats.
40. Blood Distension (Xue Gu): Postpartum lochia retention leading to Blood Distension. Physicians helpless. Mr. Xu Lingtai stated this is coagulated blood stasis, not reducible by Tao Ren alone. Use Rou Gui (Cinnamon Bark), Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizome), Ren Shen, Da Huang, Wu Ling Zhi, formed into a preparation to purge blood stasis. Abdomen flattened, appetite returned, illness vanished. (Note: Di Dang Wan may also be used.)
41. Separated Soul (Li Hun): A person felt their body split into two, unable to distinguish real from fake, silent, unresponsive. Diagnosed as Separated Soul. Use Chen Sha (Prepared Cinnabar), Ren Shen, Fu Shen (Poria with Hostwood), decoct strongly and drink. The true spirit gains clarity, the false form dissipates. Follow with Shi Quan Da Bu Tang (Comprehensive Great Tonifying Decoction) to eradicate.
42. Liver Worm (Gan Chong): Person with hot, glowing head and face, others feel heat near hand. Treat with Suan Zhi (Garlic Juice) half liang mixed with wine; vomiting snake-like objects resolves symptoms.
43. Flesh Decay (Rou Huai): Person with foul-smelling nasal discharge. Viewing in a bowl revealed iron-colored shrimp-like creatures, rice-sized, jumping; catching them turned them to water. This is flesh decay. Eat chicken meat twice a day; recovered in one month.
44. Umbilical Water Discharge (Qi Zhong Chu Shui): Abdomen hard as iron/stone, water discharging from umbilicus transforming into worm-like movements around the body, unbearable itching/pain. Cannot be swept clean. Bathe in strong decoction of Cang Zhu (Atractylodis Rhizoma). Take Cang Zhu mixed with She Xiang (Musk) and water orally to cure.
45. Softshell Turtle Mass (Die Xia): Person suffering from Softshell Turtle Mass, pain comes and goes, worsened by eating turtle. Roast one jin of Chicken Droppings (Ji Shi), soak in wine overnight, roast to powder. Take mixed with the original soaking wine. Feed white hen pig-oil fried rice, collect droppings for use.
46. Chicken Mass (Ji Xia): Person with cold-phlegm disease, attributed to excessive consumption of white chicken. Cook one garlic clove and take; vomited an object the size of a measuring cup, wrapped in phlegm. Inside was a chick. Took medicine again, vomited thirteen chicks, then recovered.
47. Corpse Collapse (Shi Yan): Person appeared dead, abdominal gas roaring like thunder. Use Liu Huang (Sulfur) one liang, Yan Xiao (Saltpeter) five qian, finely ground, divided into three doses. Decoct in good wine; stop when smoke rises. Warm and administer. Repeat dosing for peace.
48. Inverted Vision (Yan Dao): Person seeing objects upside down. Use Li Lu (Veratri Radix) and Gua Di (Melonis Fructus) coarse powder, decoct in water. Vomiting induces cure.
49. Qi Collapse (Qi Tuo): Chronic abdominal distension suddenly followed by massive diarrhea, day and night, medicines ineffective. Diagnosed as Qi Collapse. Strong decoction of Yi Zhi Ren taken immediately effective.
50. Three Yin Bleeding (San Yin Chu Xue): Woman's Sanyinjiao (SP6) point bled spurtingly without cause, nearly fatal. Press the orifice with finger, bandage. Patient fainted. Pour strong Du Shen Tang (Single Ginseng Decoction) to cure.
51. Qi Stagnation (Qi Yu): Every autumn/winter, red itchy spots appear all over. Cold air contracts pores, Yang Qi cannot vent, stagnating internally. Should use Ren Shen... [Text cuts off]
52. Flying Poison (Fei Du): Person harvesting rice in fields suddenly experienced bone-deep itching all over. Soak nine qian of edible salt in three bowls of soup. Drink one bowl, induce vomiting. Repeat three times; itching ceases.
53. Wheezing and Stridor (Xiao Hou): Seven Jiang Can (Bombyx Batryticatus), roasted yellow, ground to powder. Take with rice gruel or clear tea. Cures wheezing instantly.
Use two eggs, crack shell slightly (do not break membrane), soak in urine vat for four days. Boil and eat for effect.
54. Hematemesis (Tu Xue): After severe illness, person yellow-faced, limb weakness, vomiting basin-full of blood, medicines failed. Twelve snails, washed clean. Crush with shells, expose to night dew until dawn, take clarified water. Four doses remove yellowness, stop bleeding, cure.
55. Edema (Shui Zhong): Treat ten types of water qi. Four large snails, five peeled garlic cloves, Che Qian Zi (Plantaginis Semen) three qian, ground to powder. Mix into cakes, apply to umbilicus, bind with cloth. Shortly after application, water exits via urination, swelling subsides.
56. Eye Disease Fire Eye Immortal Pill: One sheep gallbladder. Cut open, insert one qian honey, tie tightly, mix well with hands. Boil in water once, remove, soak in cold water for half a day. Use to treat eye diseases. Sheep gallbladder is essence of hundred herbs; honey is fluid of hundred flowers. This is one of two hundred herbal prescriptions.
57. Head Wind (Tou Feng): Person with head wind, afraid of cold in June, wrapped in cotton for thirty years without cure. Given two sheng of Buckwheat Flour, mixed with water to make two cakes. Shi Zhong Zhu Gen (Bamboo Root) half jin, Fang Feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) four liang, Jing Jie (Schizonepetae Spike) four liang, Xi Xin (Asari Radix) one sheng. Mix, store in silk bag in jar. Simmer gently then strongly, leave in shade for seven days. Take half zhong on empty stomach. Miraculous.
62. Qi Lump (Qi Kuai): Women with irregular menstruation gradually developing masses/lumps. Treat all. Use Xiang Fu (Cyperi Rhizoma) one jin stir-fried yellow, Ai Ye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium) half jin boiled in good vinegar until yellow. Grind both to powder. Make pills with vinegar paste, wu-tze size. Take fifty pills with light vinegar soup. Twice daily. Avoid raw/cold/greasy. Or use Dang Gui and Zheng Tian Qi (Notoginseng Radix) each three qian, decoct in wine/water for good effect on women's Qi lumps.
63. Water Distension (Shui Gu): Secret Divine Prescription for Water Distension. Feed one rooster barley for five days. Collect one sheng of droppings, roast yellow. Soak in one bottle of good wine, boil to one bowl. Strain, give to patient. Abdominal gas moves comfortably, rumbling, exits via stool, swelling reduces. If purging incomplete, repeat one or two times. Must resolve. If diarrhea continues, cook four snails in wine, eat, follow with warm porridge. Once swelling gone, regulate with Shen Qi Wan (Kidney Qi Pill) and Liu Jun Zi Tang (Six Gentlemen Decoction). Chicken droppings drive water effectively, entering everywhere, directing stored water to large intestine for expulsion. This recipe rivals creation, truly priceless. Check diagnosis: Heat four liang white salt, wrap in silk, place on umbilicus. If salt melts to water and pressing doesn't raise it, it is Water Distension. If it raises immediately, it is Qi Distension. Whole body dark black with black dots is Blood Distension. Body hot as fire, chills/fever like malaria, abdominal distension, large pulse, limbs then abdomen, loose stool, penis swelling/ulceration, blue veins after diarrhea—all difficult to treat. Black lips/mouth, spleen exhaustion. Flat palms/soles, kidney exhaustion. Umbilicus everted, stomach sunken—all incurable.
64. Qi Distension (Qi Gu): Prescription: Jiang Zhi (Ginger Juice) stir-fried Yuan Zhi (Polygalae Radix) flesh five qian, decoct in water. Descending qi and unblocking cures. For asthma with excess water, use Hei Xi Dan (Black Tin Pill). For acid regurgitation, use Fu Zi Li Zhong Tang (Aconite Regulate Middle Decoction) plus Huang Lian.

Cure in one month. Diagnosis: Sallow complexion, white nail marks, irritability, forgetfulness, dry mouth, constipation, chest tightness, rib distension, abdominal pain. Apply salt to umbilicus; if color turns red, it is Blood Distension. If abdomen swells like a basket, incurable. Take three qian, twice daily, once at night. Gradual cure in one month. Tu Mu Jin Pi (Hibiscus Tiliaceus Bark) three qian, Lu Hui (Aloe), She Chuang Zi (Cnidii Fructus), Jian Bing Lang (Betel Nut) each two qian, Sheng Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Chao Bai Ji (Bletillae Rhizoma), Da Feng Zi (Crotonis Fructus) each three qian, Sheng Da Huang (Rhei Radix) four qian, Zhi Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Bai Xing Ren (Apricot Seed), Fan Mu Die (Strychnos Nux-vomica), Chao Ku Shen (Sophorae Flavescentis Radix), Lei Wan (Omphalia), Liu Huang (Sulfur) each one and a half qian. Grind to powder, mix with good vinegar, apply to affected area.
67. Blood Gu (Xue Gu): Women's Blood Gu. Prescription: Ma Bian Cao (Verbena Officinalis) and Liu Ji Nu (Artemisiae Annuae Herba) decoct and drink. Or powder. Divine medicine for Blood Gu. Another method: Mr. Yu used Liu Jun Zi Tang plus Chuan Xiong, Bei Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma), Fang Ji, ground to powder. Pelletize with aged rice and lotus leaf soup. Twice daily.

69. Water Distension (Shui Gu): Diagnosis: Pressing hand leaves depression that does not rise. Use male pig stomach, clean internals. Lao Si Gua Jin (Old Loofah Fiber) half strip, Tu Gou Zi (Mole Cricket) ten, Xiao Hei Niu Gong Fen (Young Black Bull Dung) one bubble, Zi Bei Fu Ping (Alternanthera Philoxeroides) one liang. Put all herbs in stomach, sew with hemp thread. Place in new clay pot, add water, cook with mulberry wood fire until soft. Remove floating oil. Remove herbs, wash stomach in warm water, slice with bamboo knife. Return slices to original broth. Add Chi Fu Ling Pi (Red Poria Peel), Da Fu Pi (Arecae Pericarpium), Sheng Jiang Pi (Ginger Skin), Guang Chen Pi (Tangerine Peel), Sheng Sang Bai Pi (Mulberry Root Bark) each three qian. Gan Sui (Euphorbiae Kansui Radix), Da Ji (Euphorbiae Pekinensis Radix) baked in flour, Yan Hua (Genkwa Flos) vinegar-fried each two qian. Simmer gently until reduced to one large medicinal bowl. Remove herbs. Divide pig stomach and juice into two or three doses. Let it purge naturally. Water exits via urine/stool. Distension vanishes instantly. On days taking this, strictly follow rules. Strictly avoid salt/soy sauce for 120 days. Use real Qiu Shi (Autumn Stone) daily as salt substitute. This is the number one divine prescription for Water Distension, do not neglect.
