用活鳝鱼一条捣烂，左斜敷右、右斜敷左、嘴正即将鳝鱼血洗净、免口又扯斜一边。屡

又方∶皂角为末，陈米醋调涂口上，左斜敷右，右斜敷左，干则频换，数次必愈。
又方∶蓖麻子三钱（去壳），冰片五分，共捣融，左扯贴右，右扯贴左，以正为止。或

用泥捏成圈，围住肚脐，令人屙尿在圈内，一时苏醒，然后用药。
又方∶黄 、防风各数两，煎水一大盆放床前，使热气熏之，时时不断，熏至一日即语

草乌一斤，绿豆半斤，同煮，以豆熟为度，去豆，将草乌刮去皮，切片晒干为末，烧酒
对服，虽老年久病亦愈。此人祖传秘方，屡试皆验。
凡中风头足往后扯动，弯曲不伸，其形如弓，名角弓反张。鸡屎白三钱，酒五杯，用竹
筷顺搅一千遍饮之，小儿减半，日服二次。此葛仙方也。
又方∶见卷十小儿科。
此症有类中风故列此。小儿粪（要干的，不要稀的）阴干，放瓦上烧枯，烧至烟尽为止。
每服用三钱，生豆腐调服。或用豆腐浆调服亦可，甚效。
又方∶吴萸末三钱，热醋调敷两脚心。
取一条活黄鳝捣烂，若口角向左歪斜则敷在右侧，向右歪斜则敷在左侧；若嘴型端正，则将黄鳝血洗净，以免导致口角再次向一侧歪斜。多次尝试均有效。
另一处方：将皂角研成粉末，用陈年米醋调和后涂抹于口部，左歪敷右，右歪敷左，干燥时频繁更换，数次即可痊愈。
又一处方：蓖麻子三钱（去壳），冰片五分，共同捣碎融化，左侧嘴角牵拉则贴于右侧，右侧牵拉则贴于左侧，以面部恢复端正为度。或者按照以下方法：用泥土捏成一个圈，围住肚脐，让人在小圈内排尿，片刻后即可苏醒，然后再用药治疗。
又一处方：黄芪、防风各数两，煎煮一大盆水放在床前，利用热气熏蒸，保持不间断，熏蒸一天即可恢复言语功能，效果神奇。
又一处方：见卷一咽喉部章节。
草乌一斤，绿豆半斤，一同煮至绿豆熟透，去掉绿豆，将草乌刮去皮，切片晒干后研成粉末，用烧酒送服，即使是老年久病患者也能治愈。这是某人的祖传秘方，多次尝试均有效。
凡是中风导致头足向后牵动，身体弯曲无法伸直，形状像弓一样，称为角弓反张。鸡屎白三钱，酒五杯，用竹筷顺着一个方向搅拌一千遍后饮用，小儿减半剂量，每日服用两次。这是葛仙的方子。
又一处方：见卷十小儿科章节。
此症状类似中风，故列于此。取小儿干粪便（必须是干的，不能是稀的），在阴凉处晾干，放在瓦片上烧焦，烧至无烟为止。每次服用三钱，用生豆腐调服。也可以用豆腐浆调服，效果很好。
此症名为拘挛麻木。取生木耳用滚水泡发，在病未发作时，取木耳细细咀嚼一两至二两，饮用黄酒三四杯，盖被使身体微微出汗，服用二三斤可除根。
此症名为羊癫风（癫痫）。用菜叶（无论何种蔬菜）或青草塞入患者口中，患者即可苏醒，多次使用极有效。
Take one live eel, mash it thoroughly. If the mouth deviates to the left, apply the paste to the right side; if it deviates to the right, apply to the left side. If the mouth is straight, wash off the eel blood to prevent the mouth from being pulled to one side again. This has been tried repeatedly with success.
Another prescription: Grind Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit (Zaojiao, 皂角) into powder, mix with aged rice vinegar, and apply to the mouth. Apply to the opposite side of the deviation (left to right, right to left). Change frequently when dry; it will heal after several applications.
Another prescription: Take Semen Ricini (Bimazi, 蓖麻子) three qian (remove shells) and Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian, 冰片) five fen. Mash them together until melted. If the face is pulled to the left, apply to the right; if pulled to the right, apply to the left. Stop when the face returns to normal. Alternatively, follow this method: Mold a ring of mud around the umbilicus (Shenque, CV8), have someone urinate into the ring. The patient will regain consciousness after a moment, then administer medication.
Another prescription: Use Astragali Radix (Huangqi, 黄芪) and Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, 防风), each several liang. Decoct in a large basin of water and place it at the foot of the bed. Inhale the steam continuously without interruption for one day. Speech will return, and the effect is miraculous.

Take Rhizoma Aconiti Kusnezoffii (Caowu, 草乌) one jin and Mung Bean (Lüdou, 绿豆) half a jin. Boil them together until the beans are cooked. Remove the beans, peel the Caowu, slice it, dry it, and grind it into powder. Take with distilled liquor (Baijiu). Even elderly patients with chronic illness can be cured. This is an ancestral secret recipe, proven effective through repeated trials.
In cases where stroke causes the head and feet to pull backward, with the body bent and unable to extend, resembling a bow, this condition is called Opisthotonos (Jiaogong Fanzhang, 角弓反张). Take white excrement of chicken three qian and wine five cups. Stir clockwise with a bamboo chopstick for one thousand turns, then drink. For children, reduce the dose by half. Take twice daily. This is a formula from Ge Xian.

This symptom resembles stroke, so it is listed here. Take dried infant feces (must be dry, not loose), dry them in the shade, and burn them on a tile until the smoke disappears. Take three qian per dose, mixed with raw tofu. Mixing with tofu juice is also acceptable and highly effective.
Another prescription: Mix Powder of Evodiae Fructus (Wuyu, 吴茱萸) three qian with hot vinegar and apply to the soles of both feet.
This condition is named Spasm and Numbness (Juma, 拘麻). Soak fresh wood ear mushroom in boiling water to rehydrate. Before the onset of symptoms, chew one or two taels of the mushroom finely, drink three to four cups of yellow wine, cover with blankets to induce slight sweating. Consuming two to three jin can eradicate the root cause.
This condition is named Epilepsy (Yangdian Feng, 羊癫风). Insert vegetable leaves (any kind) or green grass into the patient's mouth to induce immediate awakening. This method has been used repeatedly with extreme efficacy.
