This condition arises from deficiency and damage of the Kidney and Lung, with insufficiency of the Primordial Spirit (Yuanshen). It may also result from excessive talking and laughing in high spirits, leading to a temporary inability of the Yuan Qi (Original Qi) to connect continuously. The patient must sit upright and still. An assistant should support the chin with both hands, pushing it upwards towards the back of the head to align the joints. Immediately secure it with a cloth bandage, ensuring protection from wind.
