For those whose hands, feet, and entire body are burned and ulcerated, one must guard against fire-toxin attacking the heart. Immediately drink several bowls of human urine, or preferably child's urine (Tongbian). Subsequently, drink one to two bowls of fresh radish juice to protect the heart, preventing the fire-toxin from invading internally. It is strictly forbidden to use cold water for pouring or soaking. Additionally, dry *Sanguisorbae Radix* (Sheng Diyu), grind it into powder, and mix with sesame oil for topical application; if the skin is broken and ulcerated, sprinkle the powder directly onto the wound, which is extremely effective. Therefore, smelting workshops often soak *Sanguisorbae Radix* in oil vats for emergencies, demonstrating its status as a sacred medicine for scalds and burns.
If a person is burned by fire, causing the skin and flesh to char and rot, with worms resembling maggots emerging, apply ground *Armeniacae Semen Amarum* (Xingren) powder to the affected area, and they will recover.
For those who have died from smoke inhalation during a fire, administer juice extracted from crushed radishes. If radishes are unavailable, radish leaves can be used instead; crushing them to extract juice and administering it will restore consciousness immediately.
Another prescription: Use equal parts of raw *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* (Sheng Dahuang) and *Ampelopsis Radix* (Bailian), grind into powder, and mix with authentic *Verniciae Oleum* (Tongyou) or *Sesami Oleum* (Mayou) for topical application, yielding miraculous effects.
Another prescription for scalds and burns: Take *Corchia Cristata* (Walengzi, i.e., ark shell), calcine until "preserving nature" (retaining efficacy while becoming brittle), grind into powder, add a small amount of *Borneolum Syntheticum* (Bingpian), and mix evenly. Apply dry powder if the wound is moist... [Note: Original text appears truncated here].
Another prescription: Grind one tael of incense sticks and three qian of *Indigo Naturalis* (Qingdai) into fine powder. For swelling and pain, mix with sesame oil and apply; for wet ulcers, sprinkle dry powder.
Another prescription: Collect leftover tea leaves with their brewing liquid, store in a bottle, and let it age; the older, the better. Applying this to the affected area is highly effective.
Another prescription: Grind *Boswelliae Resina* (Ruxiang), *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai), *Myrrhae Resina* (Moyao), and *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* (Dahuang) into fine powder. Mix with *Sesami Oleum* (Mayou) and *Spirit of Wine* (Shaojiu) for topical application.
Another prescription: Use only raw *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* (Dahuang), grind into fine powder, mix with water, and apply topically.
Another prescription: Mix raw egg white with good wine until uniform. Warm it slightly over boiling water before applying. This is most effective for hot oil burns.
Another prescription: Dry snake slough on a tile, grind into powder, and mix with *Sesami Oleum* (Mayou) for topical application.
Another prescription: Fry egg whites to extract oil and apply this oil to the affected area.
Another prescription: Place watermelon rind in a jar and allow it to naturally rot into water. When treating scalds or burns, apply this water topically for miraculous effects.
Prescription 2: *Coptidis Rhizoma* (Huanglian), *Pseudostellariae Radix* (Huafen - Note: Traditionally Huafen refers to Platycodon or Pseudostellaria, context suggests cooling/drying dampness, likely Platycodon or Glehnia depending on regional usage, but WHO standard for Hua Fen is often *Glehniae Radix* or *Platycodonis Radix*. Given the context of clearing heat/toxin, *Glehniae Radix* is common in some formulas, but *Platocodonis Radix* is also used. However, "Hua Fen" usually maps to *Glehniae Radix* in modern TCM pharmacopoeia for clearing heat and generating fluids, though historically ambiguous. I will use *Glehniae Radix* as per common modern interpretation of "Hua Fen" in heat-clearing contexts, or note ambiguity. Actually, in many burn formulas, *Scutellariae Radix* or others might be used, but sticking to the name: *Glehniae Radix* (Huafen)). Let's stick to the literal translation of the herb name provided in standard lists: *Glehniae Radix* (Huafen). Also *Scrophulariae Radix* (Yuanshen/Xuanshen). Wait, Yuan Shen is *Scrophulariae Radix*. Hua Fen is *Glehniae Radix* or *Platycodonis Radix*. In burn contexts, *Glehniae Radix* is more likely for generating fluids. Let's use *Glehniae Radix* (Huafen). *Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium* (Chenpi), *Platycodonis Radix* (Jiegeng), *Gardeniae Fructus* (Shanzhi) each 1.5 qian; *Lophatheri Herba* (Dan Zhuye) 20 leaves. Decoct in water and take orally. If the entire body is ulcerated, drink one to two bowls of child's urine or radish juice. If *Renzhonghuang* (Human-processed Licorice) is available, mix with warm water and take orally for better effect. Externally, grind *Unio Concha* (Bangqiao) ash into fine powder, mix with egg white, and apply.
Another prescription, "Life-Saving Powder for Scalds and Burns": *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai), *Scutellariae Radix* (Huangqin), *Coptidis Rhizoma* (Huanglian), *Rhei Radix et Rhizoma* (Dahuang), and *Menthae Haplocalycis Herba* (Nan Bohe) each one tael; *Talcum* (Huashi) processed by water-grinding three taels. Grind all into fine powder. Mix with *Sesami Oleum* (Mayou) and *Porcine Adipose* (Zhuyou) for topical application, yielding extraordinary effects.
