生。宜内服槟榔定痛饮，外贴万灵膏，脓尽，上生肌散，可愈。
五味槟榔定痛饮
槟榔、木瓜、牛膝、乳香、黄柏。
空心服。
脚心痈生于脚掌心中涌泉穴，乃至阴所生也。因伏热于内，湿热下流，或远行履湿地，或沾惹毒瓦斯，或被物
所伤而生。初觉宜艾灸，内服牛膝汤，外贴万灵膏，脓尽上生肌散，不然恐成漏脚，即是神仙，不能治矣。
八味牛膝汤
王瓜根、土茯苓、牛膝、黄柏、苍术、羌活、黄连、当归。灯心引。
空心服。
六味敷方
车前子、灯心草、地骨皮、二花、龙胆草、通草。
以酒糟捶烂，敷之。

眉风毒生于两眉之间，乃脾肺湿热，冲聚于眉峰也。内服败
毒流气饮，外贴万灵膏，若破，上生肌散，宜用灯火甚妙。
十三味败毒流气饮
羌活、独活、桔梗、紫苏、川芎、当归、白芷、防风、升麻、柴胡、黄连、黄芩、白芍。
食远服。
耳门痈生于两耳之门边，乃肝肾蕴热上炎耳门而生。宜内服清肝滋肾饮，外贴万灵膏，又上生肌散。若初起
时，用神仙祛毒一扫丹、敷毒失笑饼（方见前）。
十一味清肝滋肾饮
柴胡、升麻、黄柏、青皮、羌活、独活、白芷、地骨皮、荆芥、桔根、黄 。
食远服。

脚心痈生长在脚掌中心的涌泉穴处，这是至阴经气所生发的部位。因体内伏热，湿热下注，或者长途行走踩踏湿地，或者沾染毒瓦斯，或者被物体损伤而形成。初起时适宜艾灸，内服牛膝汤，外贴万灵膏；待脓液排尽后撒上生肌散，否则恐怕会形成漏脚（指久不愈合的瘘管），即使是神仙也无法治愈了。
八味牛膝汤
由王瓜根、土茯苓、牛膝、黄柏、苍术、羌活、黄连、当归组成。以灯心草为引。
空腹服用。
六味敷方
由车前子、灯心草、地骨皮、二花（通常指金银花）、龙胆草、通草组成。
用酒糟捣烂，敷于患处。

Xiedai Carbuncle (Shoe-strap Carbuncle) arises above the bend of the lower leg and below the longgu (bone prominence, referring to the fibular head or malleolus). It is caused by the accumulation of dampness qi in this area. Internal administration of Binglang Dingtong Yin (Areca Nut Decoction for Pain Relief) is recommended, along with external application of Wanling Gao (Myriad Spirits Plaster). Once the pus has drained completely, Shengji San (Tissue Regeneration Powder) should be applied to facilitate healing.
Wuwei Binglang Dingtong Yin (Five-Ingredient Areca Nut Decoction for Pain Relief)
Composed of: Arecae Semen (Binglang), Paeflae Fructus (Mugua), Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi), Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai).
Take on an empty stomach.
Jiaoxin Carbuncle (Sole Carbuncle) arises at the Yongquan acupoint (KI-1) in the center of the sole of the foot, which is the site where Zhiyin (Foot Taiyang Bladder Channel) qi originates. It is caused by latent heat within, downward flow of damp-heat, walking long distances on wet ground, exposure to toxic vapors, or injury from objects. In the early stage, moxibustion is appropriate, internal administration of Niuxi Tang (Achyranthes Decoction), and external application of Wanling Gao (Myriad Spirits Plaster). Once the pus has drained completely, Shengji San (Tissue Regeneration Powder) should be applied; otherwise, it may develop into a "Lou Jiao" (chronic fistula of the foot), which even immortals could not cure.
Bawei Niuxi Tang (Eight-Ingredient Achyranthes Decoction)
Composed of: Trichosanthes Cucumerinae Radix (Wagua Gen), Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma (Tufuling), Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix (Niuxi), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai), Atractylodis Rhizoma (Cangzhu), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui). Use Jiaxin (Centum Septa Nelumbinis Nucleus) as a guide herb.
Take on an empty stomach.
Liuli Fufang (Six-Ingredient External Paste)
Composed of: Plantaginis Semen (Cheqianzi), Jiaxin (Centum Septa Nelumbinis Nucleus), Lycii Cortex (Digupi), Erhua (typically Jin Yin Hua/Honeysuckle), Gentianae Radix (Longdancao), Tectonae Caulis (Tongcao).
Pound with wine lees until soft and apply externally.

Internal administration of Baidu Liuqi Yin (Detoxifying Qi-Regulating Decoction) is recommended, along with external application of Wanling Gao (Myriad Spirits Plaster). If it ulcerates, Shengji San (Tissue Regeneration Powder) should be applied. Fire-moxa therapy is highly effective.
Shisanwei Baidu Liuqi Yin (Thirteen-Ingredient Detoxifying Qi-Regulating Decoction)
Composed of: Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duohuo), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng), Perillae Folium (Zisu), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao).
Take well after meals.
Ermen Carbuncle (Tragus Carbuncle) arises at the side of the ear opening, caused by latent heat of the Liver and Kidney flaring upward to the ear gate. Internal administration of Qinggan Zishen Yin (Liver-Clearing and Kidney-Nourishing Decoction) is recommended, along with external application of Wanling Gao (Myriad Spirits Plaster) and subsequent application of Shengji San (Tissue Regeneration Powder). In the initial stage, Shenxian Qudu Yisaodan (Immortal's Toxin-Expelling Sweep-Dust Powder) and Futou Shixiao Bing (Poison-Spread Laughing-Fail Cake) (formula see previous section) can be used.
Shiyiwei Qinggan Zishen Yin (Eleven-Ingredient Liver-Clearing and Kidney-Nourishing Decoction)
Composed of: Bupleuri Radix (Chaihu), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai), Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Qingpi), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duohuo), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Lycii Cortex (Digupi), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie), Platycodonis Radix (Jiegen), Huang [Lian/Huangqin].
Take well after meals.
