凡痈疽缘阴阳相搏而生。盖气属阳。血属阴。血行脉内。气行脉外。相并周流。寒与湿
。则凝滞而行迟。为不及。热与火搏之。则沸腾而行速。为太过。气得邪而郁。津液闭结。
为痰。为饮。积久渗入脉中。血为之浊。血得邪而滞。隧道路阻隔。或溢。或结。此阴阳不
能和畅。则痈疽恶毒。从此生焉。
真人活命饮 治一切痈疽肿毒。初起服此。止痛立消散毒。

前药各为咀片。用麻油一斤半。浸二宿。入铫属性武火。熬至黑色。滤去渣。却将后药
为末。次第加入。
广木香 安息香 琥珀 芸香（各二钱） 乳香 没药 血竭 降香 韶粉 自然铜（各
一钱五分醋淬三次） 桑白皮 白芨 白蔹 雄黄（各五钱） 黄丹（六两。夏月加三两。炒黑色）
上各为末。入油。次下黄丹。以槐柳条不住手搅。滴水成珠为度。诸品要选真正道地者
。虔诚煎熬。自然应验。
千金内托散 治痈疽恶毒。未成者速散。已成者速溃。此方活血调气。祛风解毒。和脾
补虚。
黄 人参（各二钱） 防风 浓朴 当归 白芷 薄桂 川芎 甘草 桔梗（各一钱） 酒煎温服。
紫金锭 治一切痈疽疮疖。发背恶毒。每服三钱。酒磨送下。外以磨敷上。其毒渐渐消

凡是痈疽，都是由于阴阳二气相互搏结而产生的。大概来说，气属于阳，血属于阴。血在脉管内部运行，气在脉管外部运行。它们相互伴随，周身循环流动。如果遇到寒邪与湿邪，气血就会凝滞而运行迟缓，这属于“不及”；如果遇到热邪与火邪搏结，气血就会沸腾而运行加速，这属于“太过”。气受到邪气侵袭而郁结，导致津液闭阻凝结，形成痰饮。积存久了渗入脉中，使血液变得浑浊。血受到邪气阻滞，经络通道阻隔，或者外溢，或者结聚。这就是阴阳不能和谐畅达，于是痈疽恶毒便由此产生了。
真人活命饮：治疗一切痈疽肿毒。在初起阶段服用此方，能立即止痛，消散肿痛，解毒。
配方：当归尾、赤芍、防风（各二钱）、白芷、天花粉、穿山甲、乳香、没药（各一钱）、皂角刺、浙贝母、陈皮、金银花、甘草节（各一钱五分）。
煎服法：取头道生水和酒水各一碗，煎煮后根据痈疽毒气的上下部位，结合患者的饥饱情况分次服用。服药后再喝几杯酒。
飞龙夺命丹：治疗一切痈疽，包括发背、疔疮、对口疮以及无名恶疮。未成脓者服用可立即消散，已成脓者服用可立即溃破，疼痛者服用可立即止痛。此丹药是治疗恶症中的至宝。
配方：蟾酥（用酒化开）、乳香、没药、朱砂（作为衣料包裹）、铜绿（各二钱）、明雄黄（三钱）、胆矾、寒水石（炙至黄色，去除头足部分）。
制法与服法：将上述药物研为细末，用蜗牛研磨成泥状，加入葱汁调和制成丸药，大小如绿豆。每次服用三丸。先用三寸长的葱白让患者嚼烂，放在手掌心中，将药丸包裹在葱白内，用热酒送服。服药后用被子覆盖保暖以取汗。如果不出汗，再喝几杯酒后继续观察，以助药力发挥，促使毒邪溃散排出。
立溃拔毒膏：点涂破溃各种恶毒，适用于痈疽疮疖。
配方：糯米（一两，与南星、当归、赤芍各三钱同炒）、砂（此处疑为矿物药或笔误，原文如此）、斑蝥（各三钱）、好锻石（一两，用皂角烧烟熏制，共研为末）、桑柴灰、真炭灰、皂角灰、毛竹灰（去青皮及黑灰）、芝麻秆灰（各三两）。
制法与服法：用上述五种灰淋取汁液，在锅内用慢火熬煮，直到表面泛起白霜为止。调拌前述四种药末，点涂于患处。
太乙神应膏：治疗发背痈疽、疔疮肿毒、跌打损伤、心痛腿痛等一切外科疾病，无不有效。
配方：川乌、草乌、黄连、黄柏、赤芍、白芍、玄胡索、当归尾（各二钱）、良姜、木鳖子、僵蚕、地骨皮、杏仁、花椒、大茴香、茅香、玄参、苍耳子、桂皮、南星、栝蒌仁、苦参、苍术、五加皮、防风、熟地黄、密陀僧、丁香、内消（芒硝类）、生地黄、藁本（各一钱）、何首乌、细辛（各二钱五分）、江子（即巴豆，三十粒，去壳）、蓖麻子（三十粒，去壳）、旱莲草、人参、百药煎、黄芪、甘草节、羌活、五灵脂、独活、地蜈蚣根（各一两）。
制法：将前药各自切成饮片，用一斤半麻油浸泡两个夜晚。放入锅中，用武火熬至黑色，滤去药渣。然后将后药研为细末，依次加入油中。
后续加药：广木香、安息香、琥珀、芸香（各二钱）、乳香、没药、血竭、降香、韶粉（铅粉）、自然铜（各一钱五分，醋淬三次）、桑白皮、白芨、白蔹、雄黄（各五钱）、黄丹（六两，夏季加三两，炒至黑色）。
制法：将上述药物分别研为细末，加入油中，随后加入黄丹，用槐柳条不停地搅拌，直到滴水成珠的程度即可。所有药材都要选用真正地道优质的原料，虔诚煎熬，自然会有疗效。
千金内托散：治疗痈疽恶毒。未成脓者迅速消散，已成脓者迅速溃破。此方能活血调气，祛风解毒，健脾补虚。
配方：黄芪、人参（各二钱）、防风、厚朴、当归、白芷、薄桂（肉桂的一种）、川芎、甘草、桔梗（各一钱）。
服法：用酒煎煮，温服。
紫金锭：治疗一切痈疽疮疖、发背恶毒。每次服用三钱，用酒磨碎送下。外用也可磨碎敷于患处，毒气会逐渐消散。（详细方剂见痰门章节）

All carbuncles and sores (Yong Ju) arise from the clashing of Yin and Yang. Qi belongs to Yang, while Blood belongs to Yin. Blood circulates within the vessels, whereas Qi circulates outside the vessels. They accompany each other in a continuous flow throughout the body. When confronted with Cold and Dampness, stagnation occurs, and circulation slows down, representing an insufficiency (Bu Ji). When Heat and Fire clash, boiling ensues, and circulation accelerates, representing an excess (Tai Guo). When Qi is constrained by pathogenic factors, it becomes stagnant; body fluids are blocked and condensed, forming Phlegm (Tan) and Fluid Retention (Yin). After accumulation over time, these infiltrate the vessels, causing the Blood to become turbid. When Blood is obstructed by pathogens, the meridians and collaterals are blocked, leading to either extravasation or aggregation. This inability of Yin and Yang to harmonize and flow freely gives rise to carbuncles, sores, and malignant toxins.
Zhenren Huoming Yin (True Man’s Life-Preserving Decoction): Treats all types of carbuncles, sores, swelling, and toxicity. Administer at the initial stage to relieve pain immediately, reduce swelling, dissipate nodules, and detoxify.
Ingredients: Danggui Wei (Tail of Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae) (each 2 qian); Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Tianhuafen (Radix Trichosanthis), Chuanshanjia (Squama Manis), Ruxiang (Resina Draconis), Moyao (Resina Commiphorae) (each 1 qian); Zaojiaoci (Spicula Gleditsiae Sinensis), Zhebeimu (Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Jinyinhua (Flos Lonicerae Japonicae), Gancao Jie (Node of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (each 1.5 qian).
Administration: Decoct with one bowl of fresh water and one bowl of wine. Take according to the location of the sore (upper or lower) and the patient's hunger or fullness status. After taking the decoction, consume several cups of wine.
Feilong Duoming Dan (Flying Dragon Seizing-Life Pill): Treats all carbuncles and sores, including Back Carbuncle (Fabei), Ding Chuang (Lingering Sore), Duikou Chuang (Sore at the Mouth/Neck), and nameless malignant sores. For those not yet suppurating, it causes immediate resolution; for those already suppurating, it induces immediate rupture; for painful cases, it provides immediate relief. This pill is a supreme treasure for treating malignant conditions.
Ingredients: Chansu (Toad Venom, dissolved in wine), Ruxiang (Resina Draconis), Moyao (Resina Commiphorae), Zhusha (Cinnabaris, used as coating), Tonglv (Chalcostigma) (each 2 qian); Ming Xionghuang (Realgar, 3 qian); Danfan (Alumen), Hanshuishi (Aragonite) (calcined until yellow, removing head and feet).
Preparation and Administration: Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Grind snails into a paste, mix with scallion juice, and form pills the size of mung beans. Take three pills per dose. First, chew three inches of white part of scallion thoroughly, place it in the palm, wrap the pill inside the scallion, and swallow with hot wine. Cover with blankets to induce sweating. If no sweat appears, drink several more cups of wine to assist the medicinal power, promoting rapid rupture and expulsion of toxins.
Li Kui Baidu Gao (Instant Rupture and Toxin-Expelling Ointment): Applied topically to break open various malignant toxins, suitable for carbuncles, sores, and furuncles.
Ingredients: Nuomi (Glutinous Rice, 1 liang, stir-fried together with Nanxing (Rhizoma Arisaematis), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), each 3 qian); Sha (Mineral substance, as per original text), Banmao (Mylabris) (each 3 qian); Hao Duanshi (Calculated Lime, 1 liang, smoked with burning Zaojiao (Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis)), Sangcha Hui (Ash of Mulberry Branches), Zhen Tan Hui (Charcoal Ash), Zaojiao Hui (Ash of Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis), Maozhu Hui (Ash of Bamboo, remove green skin and black ash), Zhima Kai Hui (Ash of Sesame Stems) (each 3 liang).
Preparation and Administration: Leach the five types of ashes to obtain their juices. Slowly boil in a pot until a white frost forms on the surface. Mix with the previous four powdered ingredients and apply to the affected area.
Taiyi Shenyin Gao (Great Unity Divine-Efficacy Plaster): Treats Back Carbuncle, sores, Ding Chuang, swelling and toxicity, traumatic injuries, heart pain, leg pain, and all surgical diseases, proving effective in all cases.
Ingredients: Chuanwu (Radix Aconiti Kusnezoffii), Caowu (Radix Aconiti Coreani), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis), Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri), Chishao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Baishao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Yanhusuo (Rhizoma Corydalis), Danggui Wei (Tail of Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (each 2 qian); Liangjiang (Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum), Mubiezi (Semen Momordicae), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus), Gupi (Cortex Lycii / Cortex Acanthopanacis - context suggests Lycii here often paired with others, but literally "Bone Skin"), Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum), Huajiao (Pericarpium Zanthoxyli), Da Huixiang (Fructus Anisi Stellati), Maoxiang (Herba Pogostemonis), Xuanshen (Radix Scrophulariae), Can'erzi (Fructus Xanthii), Guipi (Cortex Cinnamomi), Nanxing (Rhizoma Arisaematis), Gualou Ren (Semen Trichosanthis), Kushen (Cortex Sophorae Flavescentis), Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Lanceae), Wujia Pi (Cortex Acanthopanacis Senticosi), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Shudi (Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Mituoseng (Lithargyrum), Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli), Neixiao (Mirabilite/Niter), Shengdi (Radix Rehmanniae Recens), Ben (Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong / Herba Ligustici Wallichii - likely Libanotis based on context of wind-damp) (each 1 qian); Heshouwu (Radix Polygoni Multiflori), Xixin (Herba Asari) (each 2.5 qian); Jiangzi (Semen Crotonis, 30 grains, shelled), Bamazi (Semen Ricini, 30 grains, shelled), Hanliancao (Herba Ecliptae), Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Baiyaojian (Pill of Tea Leaves), Huangqi (Radix Astragali), Gancao Jie (Node of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Qianghuo (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii), Wulingzhi (Faeces Tamandae), Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis), Diwugong Gen (Radix Scolopendri) (each 1 liang).
Preparation: Cut the first batch of herbs into slices. Soak in 1.5 jin of Hemp Seed Oil (MAYOU) for two nights. Boil in a crucible using strong fire until the mixture turns black. Filter out the dregs. Then, grind the second batch of herbs into powder and add them sequentially to the oil.
Subsequent Additions: Guangmuxiang (Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum), Anshixiang (Styrax), Hupo (Succinum), Yunxiang (Ruta) (each 2 qian); Ruxiang (Resina Draconis), Moyao (Resina Commiphorae), Xuexie (Sanguis Draxonis), Jiangxiang (Lignum Dalbergiae Odoriferae), Shaofen (Lead Carbonate), Ziran Tong (Pyritum) (each 1.5 qian, quenched in vinegar three times); Sangbapi (Cortex Mori Radicis), Baiji (Bulbus Bletillae Striatae), Bailian (Tuber Puerariae Lobatae), Xionghuang (Realgar) (each 5 qian); Huangdan (Litharge, 6 liang, add 3 liang in summer, stir-fry until black).
Preparation: Grind all ingredients into powder. Add to the oil, then add Litharge. Stir continuously with locust or willow branches until drops form pearls when tested in water. Select authentic, high-quality ingredients. Cook with sincerity for natural efficacy.
Qianjin Neituo San (Thousand Gold Internal-Supporting Powder): Treats carbuncles and malignant toxins. Rapidly dissipates those not yet formed; rapidly ruptures those already formed. This formula invigorates blood, regulates Qi, dispels wind, detoxifies, strengthens the Spleen, and tonifies deficiency.
Ingredients: Huangqi (Radix Astragali), Renshen (Radix Ginseng) (each 2 qian); Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae), Houpo (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis), Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Bao Gui (Thin Cinnamon Twig), Chuanxiong (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis) (each 1 qian).
Administration: Decoct with wine and take warm.
Zijin Ding (Purple Gold锭/Pellet): Treats all carbuncles, sores, furuncles, Back Carbuncle, and malignant toxins. Take 3 qian per dose, ground in wine and swallowed. Externally, grind and apply to the affected area; the toxicity will gradually dissipate. (See Formula in Phlegm Section).
