明矾（一两重，生用为末） 黄蜡
上以蜡熔开出火，俟及九分冷，倾入矾末在内，和为丸如梧桐子大。每服十丸，加至二
十丸，或米汤下。未破者即溃，已破者即合。大能护膜救心，防毒内攻。
治发背痈疽已成、未成，并宜服之。（此乃救贫良方。）
干柞木叶（四两） 干荷叶心蒂 萱草根 甘草节 地榆（各一两重）
上为散，每服半两，水二碗煎至一碗，分作二服，早晚各进一服，再合滓煎。有脓者自
干，成脓者自消。忌一切毒食之物。
治患疮消渴小便数，宜服此药。
人参 白术 当归 白芍药（各一钱） 桔梗 知母 山栀子（各二钱） 茯苓 连翘 天
花粉 干葛（各二钱） 肉桂 藿香 木香（各半钱） 甘草（六钱） 朴硝（一两六钱） 寒水石 石
膏（各八钱） 滑石（一两） 大黄（八钱）
上为末、散，每服五钱，水一盏、姜三片，煎至一半，用布绢绞汁，入蜜少许服。渐加
一两
重，一日三服，常使小便疏通。如有自利，不用朴硝、大黄。《外科精要》八味丸，亦治此
证。
治痈疽。
栝蒌（新旧皆可，和椒炒，碎） 川椒（二十粒） 甘草（三四寸，锉） 乳香（五粒，如皂
角子大）
上用无灰酒三碗，煮作一碗，去滓温服，其毒立散。未成即破，已成者脓自出，皆不用
手。
《海上方》∶治内痈有脓，败血，腥秽殊甚，遂至脐腹冷痛。此乃败脓所致，用此方推脓下
血。
白芷（一两） 白芍 白矾（枯，各半两） 单叶红蜀葵根（二两）
上为末，蜡矾熔为丸如梧桐子大，空心食前米饮下三十丸。俟脓出尽，十宣散补之。一
方，用猪膏煎鲫鱼治肠痈。一方，以鳖甲烧存性服之。
（即护膜散。）
明矾（一两重，生用研为粉末） 黄蜡
将黄蜡熔化后离火，待冷却至九成温度时，倒入明矾粉末中，调和制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸，可逐渐增加至二十丸，或用米汤送服。疮口未破溃的能使其迅速化脓溃破，已破溃的能使其愈合。此药具有极强的保护黏膜、挽救心脏功能、防止毒邪内攻的作用。
治疗发背痈疽，无论已成脓或未成脓，都适宜服用。（这是救济贫苦人的良方。）
干柞树叶（四两） 干荷叶心蒂 萱草根 甘草节 地榆（各一两重）
以上药材研为散剂，每次服用半两，加水两碗煎煮至一碗，分两次服用，早晚各一次，并将药渣再次煎煮服用。有脓液的会自行干燥，形成脓液的会自行消散。忌食一切有毒性的食物。
治疗患有疮疡且伴有消渴、小便频数的症状，适宜服用此药。
人参 白术 当归 白芍药（各一钱） 桔梗 知母 山栀子（各二钱） 茯苓 连翘 天花粉 干葛根（各二钱） 肉桂 藿香 木香（各半钱） 甘草（六钱） 朴硝（一两六钱） 寒水石 石膏（各八钱） 滑石（一两） 大黄（八钱）
以上药材研为末或散剂，每次服用五钱，加水一盏、生姜三片，煎煮至一半量，用布绢过滤取汁，加入少许蜂蜜服用。剂量逐渐增加至一两重，每日服用三次，保持小便通畅。如果出现自发性腹泻，则不用朴硝和大黄。《外科精要》中的八味丸，也能治疗此证。
治疗痈疽。
栝蒌（新陈皆可，与花椒同炒，捣碎） 川椒（二十粒） 甘草（三四寸长，切碎） 乳香（五粒，大小如皂角子）
以上药材用无灰酒三碗，煮至一碗，去渣温服，毒邪立即消散。未成脓的会立刻破溃，已成脓的脓液自然流出，都不需要用手挤压。
《海上方》记载：治疗体内痈疽有脓血，败血腥秽极其严重，导致脐腹冷痛。这是由败脓引起的，用此方推动脓血下行。

以上药材研为末，用蜡和明矾熔化后制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂，空腹饭前用米饮送服三十丸。待脓液排尽后，用十宣散进行补益。另一方法，用猪油煎鲫鱼治疗肠痈。另一方法，将鳖甲烧存性后服用。

Alumen (1 liang, raw and ground into powder) Beeswax
Melt the beeswax and remove from fire. When it cools to ninety percent of its temperature, pour in the alumen powder, mix well, and form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take ten pills per dose, increasing up to twenty pills, or take with rice soup. For sores not yet ulcerated, they will suppurate; for those already ulcerated, they will heal. It greatly protects the mucous membranes, saves the heart, and prevents pathogenic toxins from attacking inward.
Treats back carbuncles and malignant sores, whether suppuration has formed or not; suitable for taking this formula. (This is a good prescription for saving the poor.)
Dried Quercus variabilis leaves (4 liang) Dried lotus leaf heart and pedicel Rhizoma Daylili Radix Liquiritiae (cuttings) Sanguisorbae Radix (each 1 liang)
Grind all ingredients into powder. Take half a liang per dose, decoct with two bowls of water until one bowl remains. Divide into two doses, taken morning and evening. Decoct the dregs again. Pus will dry up spontaneously; formed pus will dissipate spontaneously. Avoid all toxic foods.
Treats patients with sores accompanied by Xiao Ke (Wasting-Thirst syndrome) and frequent urination; suitable for taking this medicine.
Ginseng Radix Atractylodis Macrocephalae Radix Angelicae Sinensis Radix Paeoniae Albae (each 1 qian) Platycodonis Radix Anemarrhenae Rhizoma Gardeniae Fructus Poria Coos Lonicerae Japonicae Flos Trichosanthis Radix Kudzu Root Cinnamon Bark Agasteghis Herba Costi Radix Licorice Root (6 qian) Mirabilite (1 liang 6 qian) Hypostasis Barium Gypsum Fibrosum Talcum Rhubarb (each 8 qian)
Grind all ingredients into powder or coarse powder. Take 5 qian per dose, add one cup of water and three slices of ginger, decoct until half remains. Strain through cloth or silk, add a little honey, and take. Gradually increase the dose to 1 liang, take three times a day, keeping urination unobstructed. If spontaneous diarrhea occurs, do not use Mirabilite or Rhubarb. The Ba Wei Wan (Eight-Ingredient Pill) from *Waike Jingyao* also treats this condition.
Treats carbuncles and malignant sores.
Trichosanthes Fruit (new or old, stir-fried with Sichuan pepper, crushed) Sichuan Pepper (20 grains) Licorice Root (3-4 cun long, chopped) Frankincense (5 grains, size like Sophora seed)
Decoct the above ingredients in non-ash wine (clear wine), three bowls, until reduced to one bowl. Remove dregs and take warm. Pathogenic toxins will disperse immediately. Unsuppurated lesions will break open; suppurated lesions will discharge pus naturally, without manual squeezing.
*Haishang Fang*: Treats internal carbuncles with pus and blood, where putrefied blood is extremely foul-smelling, leading to cold pain in the umbilical and abdominal regions. This is caused by putrefied pus; use this formula to push pus and blood downward.
Angelicae Dahuricae Radix Peony Root Alum (calcined, each half liang) Single-leaf Red Hibiscus Root (2 liang)
Grind all ingredients into powder. Melt beeswax and alum, form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take thirty pills before meals on an empty stomach with rice drink. After pus is completely discharged, tonify with Shixuan San (Ten-Acupoint Powder). Another method: fry crucian carp in lard to treat intestinal abscess. Another method: burn turtle shell until carbonized and take orally.
