禀火土之性，得正阳之气以生，故味辛、苦。气大温，有毒。入足阳明、厥阴二
经。其主杀精鬼邪气，及中恶腹痛鬼疰者，盖以阳明虚，则邪恶宜侵，阴气胜，则精鬼
易凭得阳气之正者，能破幽暗，所以杀一切鬼邪也。寒热鼠 ，恶疮疳痔，死肌疥虫，
疮诸症，皆湿热留滞肌肉，侵淫而生虫，此药苦辛能燥湿杀虫，故为疮家要药。其主
鼻中息肉者，肺气结也；癖气者，大肠积滞也；目痛者，肝经受病也；筋骨断绝者，气
血不续也。辛能散结滞，温能通行气血，辛温相合而杀虫，故能搜剔百节中大风积聚
也。虺蛇阴物，藜芦阴草，雄黄禀纯阳之气，所以善杀百虫，蛇虺毒，及解藜芦毒
也。入厥阴功多。亦能化血为水，为消瘀杀虫杀毒之用。
雄黄，治恶疮金疮，寒热鼠 ，疥虫 疮，鼻中息肉。杀精物邪气百虫，杨毒疔
癣，蛇虺诸毒，及绝筋破骨，积聚痞气，中恶腹痛鬼疰，小儿肝疳目病，辟邪镇惊，搜
肝气泻肝风，消涎积，治邪疟，筋骨百节中大风，酒癖惊痫，头风眩晕，及能化腹中瘀
血，杀劳疳等虫；解藜芦毒，孕佩转男。然石药与气血无情，凡营卫亏损，而成疳劳
者，勿服。一雌黄佩之，转男为女人。入药专治一切虫毒恶疮。
疳积坏眼白翳遮睛者，服之即变红而障渐退，真神方也。其方用桑白皮五六钱，瓦
上焙燥，捣细雄鸡硬肝皮一个（即名鸡内金），阴干，瓦上炙黄，捣细入明雄黄钱许，三味和
匀，掺雄鸡软肝上，酒酿于铜瓦器内，煮熟，去药食肝，每日一个，神效。研细末入
猪胆内，套指头上，治天蛇疔毒发于中指。治暑毒疟痢，百法不效，用雄黄研细末飞九
次，节筒盛蒸，七次，再研，蒸饼和丸，如桐子大，每服甘草汤下七丸，日三服，其辞
云∶暑毒在脾，湿气连脚，不泄则痢，不痢则疟，独炼雄黄，蒸饼和药，别作治疗，医
家大错，此昔人梦中所得之方，试之辄效。《圣惠方》∶伤寒狐惑，虫食下部，痛痒不
止，雄黄半两，烧于瓶中，熏其下部，《肘后方》∶五尸疰病，发则变痛无常，昏恍沉
重，缠结脏腑，上冲心胁，即身中尸鬼接引为害也。雄黄、大蒜各一两，杵丸弹子大，
每热酒服一丸。《夏氏奇疾方》∶筋肉有虫，如蟹走于皮下，作声发小儿啼，为筋肉之
化，雄黄雷丸各一两，为末掺猪肉上炙熟，吃尽自安。《积德堂方》∶广东恶疮，雄黄一
钱半，杏仁三十粒去皮，轻粉一钱，为末。洗净，以雄猪胆汁调上，二三日即愈，百发
百中，天下第一方也。出武定侯府内，入龙脑少许尤良。
主治（痘疹合参） 开痰治惊，解痘毒，杀百虫，生长肌肉，兼转黑陷，掺药中亦用。
雄黄禀受火与土的性质，得纯正的阳气而生，因此味道辛、苦。药性大温，有毒。归入足阳明胃经和足厥阴肝经。它主治杀除精怪鬼邪之气，以及中恶腹痛、鬼疰（一种由邪气引起的慢性消耗性疾病），这是因为阳明经虚弱时，邪恶之气容易侵袭；阴气过盛时，精怪之物容易依附。得到纯正阳气的事物，能够破除幽暗，所以能杀灭一切鬼邪之气。对于寒热往来、鼠瘰（淋巴结结核）、恶疮、疳痔、死肌、疥虫、疮疡等各种症状，都是因为湿热滞留肌肉，侵蚀滋生虫体所致。此药味苦辛能燥湿杀虫，所以是治疗疮疡的要药。它主治鼻中息肉，是因为肺气郁结；主治癖气（腹内结块），是因为大肠积滞；主治目痛，是因为肝经受病；主治筋骨断绝，是因为气血不能接续。辛味能散结滞，温性能通行气血，辛温结合而能杀虫，所以能搜剔百节中的大风积聚。虺蛇属阴物，藜芦属阴草，而雄黄禀受纯阳之气，所以善于杀灭各种虫类、蛇虺之毒，并能解除藜芦的毒性。在厥阴经的功效较多。它也能化血为水，用于消瘀、杀虫、杀毒。
雄黄，治疗恶疮、金疮（金属利器造成的创伤）、寒热往来、鼠瘰、疥虫疮、鼻中息肉。杀灭精怪邪气及各类虫毒、杨毒、疔疮、癣疾、蛇虺诸毒，以及导致筋断骨折、积聚痞气、中恶腹痛鬼疰等症状。治疗小儿肝疳引起的眼病，辟邪镇惊，搜肝气、泻肝风，消痰涎积滞，治疗邪疟，筋骨百节中的大风，酒癖、惊痫，头风眩晕，并能化解腹中瘀血，杀灭劳疳等虫类；解除藜芦毒性，孕妇佩戴可转生男孩。然而石类药物与气血无情，凡是营卫亏损而形成的疳劳证，不要服用。若佩戴雌黄，则会将生男转为生女。入药专门治疗一切虫毒恶疮。
对于疳积导致的坏眼、白翳遮睛者，服用此方即变红且障膜逐渐消退，真是神效的方子。该方用桑白皮五六钱，在瓦上焙干，捣细；取一个雄鸡硬肝皮（即鸡内金），阴干后在瓦上炙黄，捣细；加入明雄黄约一钱，三味混合均匀，涂抹在雄鸡软肝上，用酒酿在铜瓦器内煮熟，去掉药物吃下肝脏，每天一个，效果神奇。将药研成细末放入猪胆内，套在手指头上，治疗天蛇疔毒发于中指的情况。治疗暑毒疟痢，各种方法无效时，用雄黄研成细末，飞九次，用竹筒盛装蒸七次，再研磨，用蒸饼和丸，如梧桐子大，每次用甘草汤送服七丸，每日三次。其歌诀说：暑毒在脾，湿气连脚，不泄泻则为痢，不痢则为疟。单独炼制雄黄，用蒸饼和药，另作治疗，是大医家的错误。这是古人梦中得到的方子，试用往往有效。《圣惠方》记载：伤寒狐惑病，虫食下部，痛痒不止，用雄黄半两，在瓶中烧熏下部。《肘后方》记载：五尸疰病，发作时疼痛无常，昏沉恍惚沉重，缠结脏腑，上冲心胁，这就是身中尸鬼接引为害。用雄黄、大蒜各一两，捣丸如弹子大，每次用热酒送服一丸。《夏氏奇疾方》记载：筋肉中有虫，如蟹在皮下行走，发出声音引起小儿啼哭，这是筋肉化为虫。用雄黄、雷丸各一两，研末涂抹在猪肉上烤熟，吃尽即可安宁。《积德堂方》记载：广东地区的恶疮，用雄黄一钱半，杏仁三十粒去皮，轻粉一钱，研成末。洗净患处，用雄猪胆汁调敷，二三日即愈，百发百中，天下第一方。出自武定侯府内部，加入少许龙脑效果更好。
Xionghuang (Realgar) inherits the nature of Fire and Earth, generated by pure Yang Qi, thus possessing acrid and bitter flavors. Its property is greatly warm and toxic. It enters the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian and Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian. It primarily eliminates demonic spirits and evil qi, as well as Zhong'e abdominal pain and Guizhu (a chronic consumptive disease caused by evil qi). This is because when the Yangming channel is deficient, evil qi easily invades; when Yin qi prevails, demonic entities easily attach themselves. Things that possess pure Yang Qi can dispel darkness, thereby eliminating all kinds of demonic evils. For symptoms such as alternating cold and heat, Shuluo (scrofula), malignant sores, Gan hemorrhoids, dead flesh, scabies parasites, and various ulcerations, these are all caused by damp-heat stagnating in the muscles, eroding and generating parasites. This drug's bitter and acrid properties can dry dampness and kill parasites, making it an essential medicine for treating sores. It treats nasal polyps due to Lung Qi stagnation; Piqi (abdominal masses) due to Large Intestine accumulation; eye pain due to Liver Meridian pathology; and severed tendons and bones due to discontinuity of Qi and Blood. Acridity disperses stagnation, warmth promotes the circulation of Qi and Blood; their combination kills parasites, thus enabling the extraction of severe wind accumulations from all joints. Huishe (venomous snakes) are Yin creatures, Lilu (Veratrum nigrum) is a Yin herb, while Xionghuang possesses pure Yang Qi, allowing it to effectively kill various insects, snake venoms, and detoxify Lilu. It exerts significant effects on the Jueyin Meridian. It can also transform blood into water, serving purposes of resolving stasis, killing parasites, and detoxification.
Xionghuang treats malignant sores, Jinchuang (traumatic wounds from metal weapons), alternating cold and heat, Shuluo, scabies ulcers, and nasal polyps. It kills demonic spirits, evil qi, hundred insects, Yangdu (toxic sores), Dingchuang (carbuncles), xuan (tinea), snake venom, conditions causing tendon rupture and bone fracture, accumulations and Piqi, Zhong'e abdominal pain, and Guizhu. It treats Xiao'er Gangan eye diseases caused by Liver Gan, calms fright with anti-demonic properties, searches Liver Qi, drains Liver Wind, resolves phlegm accumulations, treats Xiemal (malaria-like fevers), severe wind in bones and joints, Jiupi (wine-related disorders) and Jingxian (convulsions), Toufeng dizziness, and resolves abdominal blood stasis, killing Laoguan parasites. It detoxifies Lilu; pregnant women wearing it may give birth to males. However, mineral drugs are devoid of affection towards Qi and Blood; those suffering from Ganlao due to Yingwei deficiency should not take it. Wearing Cihuang (Pararealgar) instead transforms male births into female births. In medicinal use, it specifically treats all insect poison and malignant sores.
For Ganji leading to damaged eyes with white nebula obscuring vision, taking this formula turns red and gradually clears the opacity; truly a miraculous prescription. The formula uses Sangbaipi (Morus Alba Root Bark) 5-6 qian, dried on a tile and finely ground; one Xiongji Yinganpi (Rooster's Inner Membrane/Ji Neijin), dried in shade, toasted on a tile until yellow, and finely ground; mixed with Ming Xionghuang (Refined Realgar) about 1 qian. These three ingredients are blended evenly, applied onto Xiongji Ruan Gan (Rooster's Soft Liver), cooked in fermented rice wine within a copper vessel, then the medicine removed and the liver eaten. One per day yields miraculous effects. Grind into fine powder, insert into Pig Dan (Gallbladder), apply to the finger tip to treat Tianshe Dingdu (herpes zoster or similar toxin) occurring on the middle finger. For summer-toxin malaria and dysentery unresponsive to other methods: grind Xionghuang fine, sublimated nine times, steamed in bamboo tube seven times, re-ground, mixed with steamed dough pills sized like paulownia seeds. Take 7 pills with Licorice decoction, three times daily. The rhyme states: Summer toxin resides in Spleen, dampness connects to feet; without diarrhea there is dysentery, without dysentery there is malaria. Refining only Xionghuang and mixing with dough for treatment is a major error by physicians. This is a formula obtained in dreams by ancients, tested and effective. *Shenghui Fang*: Shanghan Fuhuo disease, worms eating the lower part, incessant pain and itching; burn half liang of Xionghuang in a bottle to fumigate the lower part. *Zhouhou Fang*: Wushizhu disease, characterized by unpredictable pain, confusion, heaviness, entangling viscera, rushing up to heart and hypochondrium, indicating harm by corpse ghosts. Mix Xionghuang and Da Suan (Garlic) each 1 liang, pound into pills size of a bullet. Take one pill with hot wine. *Xia Shi Qiji Fang*: Worms in muscles/flesh moving under skin like crabs, making sounds causing infant crying, transformation of muscle to worm. Mix Xionghuang and Leiwan (Wormwood fruit/Polyporus) each 1 liang, powder, sprinkle on pork, roast thoroughly, consume entirely for relief. *Jide Tang Fang*: Malignant sores in Guangdong. Use Xionghuang 1.5 qian, Xingren (Apricot Seed) 30 kernels peeled, Qingfen (Calomel) 1 qian. Grind to powder. Cleanse wound, mix with Xiong Zhu Dan (Boar Gallbladder juice) for application. Heals in 2-3 days, 100% effective, the world's best formula. From the residence of Marquis Wuding Hou; adding Longnao (Borneol) enhances efficacy.
Main Indications (Integration with Smallpox/Rash): Resolves phlegm, treats fright, detoxifies smallpox, kills insects, promotes tissue regeneration, corrects blackened sunken lesions; also used as an additive in other preparations.
