Descending from Fufen to the third vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright, is Pohu (BL42). Descending from Pohu to the fourth vertebra, above the fifth, centered, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright with curved spine, is Gaohuang (BL43). To locate it, have the patient sit upright, curve the spine, extend hands, place arms on knees, align thumb with knee cap, support elbow, do not move arm. Feel from upper angle of scapula to lower head, there are four ribs and three spaces. Based on the edge of the scapula, about the width of a side finger from the bone edge, press the empty space among them; if it feels like traction to the shoulder, that is the point. Descending from Gaohuang to the fifth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, sitting upright, is Shentang (BL44). Descending from Shentang to the sixth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright, is [missing character, context implies Geshu or related], pressing heavily, if the patient cries "pain", that is the location due to tenderness. Descending from [Geshu?] to the seventh vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, sitting upright with shoulders open, is Ge Guan (BL45). Descending from Ge Guan to the ninth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, sitting upright, is Hunmen (BL47). Descending from Hunmen to the tenth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, sitting upright, is Yanggang (BL48). Descending from Yanggang to the eleventh vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright, is Yishe (BL49). Descending from Yishe to the twelfth vertebra (Text says 10th, likely error), three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright, is Weicang (BL50). Descending from Weicang to the thirteenth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline, sitting upright, is Huangmen (BL51). Descending from Huangmen to the fourteenth vertebra, three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, sitting upright, is Zhishi (BL52). Descending from Baohuang to the twenty-first vertebra (Note: Standard is S4/19-20 level), three and a half cun lateral to the spinal midline in the depression, lying prone, is Zhibian (BL54). Descending from Zhibian to the buttock, in the fold above the thigh, is Chengfu (BL36). From Yinmen, moving obliquely upward one cun, flexing the knee reveals Fuxi (BL38), which is one cun above Weiyang (BL39). Descending from Fuxi, still six cun below Chengfu, flexing and extending to take, is Weiyang (BL39), connecting with Huiyang below in the popliteal fossa. Descending from Weiyang, in the arterial depression in the center of the popliteal crease, having the person look up to the ground, lying prone, is Weizhong (BL40). Descending from Weizhong, three cun below the popliteal crease, is Heyang (BL57). Descending from Heyang, in the depression in the center of the gastrocnemius, seven cun above the heel, is Chengjin (BL56). Descending from Chengjin, in the depression between the muscles at the tip of the calf, is Chengshan (BL57). Obliquely descending from Chengshan, seven cun above the posterior lateral malleolus in the depression, is Feiyang (BL58).
