启脾散 莲肉一两，白术、茯苓、山药、神曲、山楂各五钱，人参、猪苓、泽泻、藿香、木香、当归、白
芍、砂仁各三钱，肉豆蔻三个，陈皮二钱，甘草一钱，惊风后加辰砂，滑石各二钱，为末。任意姜汤调服，初
生儿涂乳头上服之，百病愈后，俱用此药调脾为主。
大利惊丸 南星二钱，白附子、牙硝、天麻、五灵脂、全蝎各一钱，轻粉五分，巴霜一字，为末，糊丸
麻子大。每一丸，薄荷、生姜泡汤下。治小儿脐风，肚胀脐肿，身体重着，四肢柔直，日夜多啼，不能吮乳，
甚则发为风搐及钓肠锁肚撮口，内气引痛，肠胃郁结不通，宜此下痰利惊。
凉惊丸 青黛、草龙胆各三钱，钩藤二钱，防风、黄连各五分，牛黄、龙脑、麝香各一字，为末，糊丸
粟米大。每三五丸，金银煎汤下。治惊热胎惊发搐，心神恍惚，牙关紧急，上视潮热，手足动摇，握拳抽掣。
小凉惊丸 郁金二个（用皂角水浸），黄连、牙硝、木香、藿香、龙胆草各五钱，全蝎六个，为末，糊丸麻
子大，雄黄、麝香、朱砂、金银箔为衣，每五十丸。风痰惊热，用麻仁、防风、蝉蜕；潮热，桃柳枝；镇惊，
薄荷、灯心；夜啼，灯心、薄荷、灶心土；盘肠、钓气、天钓，钩藤；吐，藿香；泻，木瓜、陈皮；白痢，白姜、
粟壳；赤痢，甘草、乌梅；大便闭，枳壳、硝、黄；咳嗽，乌梅、桑白皮；吐不止，丁香，未效，黄荆叶；精
神不爽，冬瓜仁常服，金银、薄荷俱煎汤下。治惊热恍惚，四肢抽掣，潮热昏迷，乍热乍醒，或为惊怪所触而
致，阳症惊痫。
温惊丸 人参、辰砂、赤石脂。茯苓各五钱，白术一两，山药二两，乳香、麝香各二钱，为末，蜜丸芡实
大。每一丸，薄荷煎饮化下。治胎寒腹痛， 乳便青，乳食不化。
大温惊丸 人参、茯苓、白术、辰砂、麦门冬、木香、代赭石各五钱，甘草、酸枣仁各一两，僵蚕、桔梗
尾各二钱半，全蝎五个，金银箔各六片，为末，蜜丸绿豆大，量儿大小服之。急惊潮热，薄荷、竹茹；慢惊，
冬瓜仁；夜啼，灶心土；搐搦，防风；伤风，荆芥；疹痘，蝉蜕，常服金银、薄荷，俱煎汤下。治心热烦躁夜
啼，常用安神定志去惊。如惊风已退，神志未定者，加琥珀、远志。
珠银丸 水银（蒸枣肉，研如泥）、全蝎各一钱，白附子一钱半，南星、朱砂、片脑各一字，天浆子、牛黄、
芦荟、麝香各半分，铅霜五分，和水银研僵蚕七个，为末，粟米糊丸芥子大。每一丸，薄荷煎汤下，利去胎中蕴
毒为度，未利再服，治小儿脐风，口噤眼翻，一切胎风胎毒，痰盛壮热，亦治惊积，宜量用之。
辰砂膏 辰砂三钱，硼砂、马牙硝各一钱半，玄明粉二钱，全蝎、真珠末各一钱，麝香一字，为末，油
纸封裹，自然成膏，每取一豆许，金银、薄荷煎汤下。潮搐，甘草煎汤下；月内儿，乳汁调敷奶上，令吮之。
治口噤眼闭，啼声渐小，舌上聚肉如粟米状，吮乳不得，口吐白沫，二便皆通。
辰砂化痰丸 辰砂、枯矾各五钱，南星一两，半夏曲三两，为末，姜汁煮，面糊丸梧子大，另用辰砂为衣，
每十丸姜汤下。亦治风壅，小儿痰嗽，生姜、薄荷煎汤化下一丸。治风化痰，安神定志，利咽膈，清眼目，止
咳嗽，除烦闷。
龙脑安神丸 茯苓三两，人参、地骨皮、甘草、麦门冬各二两，桑白皮、犀角各一两，牛黄五钱，龙脑、
麝香各三钱，朱砂、牙硝各二钱，为末，蜜丸弹子大，金箔十五片为衣。每一丸，冬月温水、夏月冷水化下，小儿
量服之。治五种癫痫，发作无时及虚劳发热，咳嗽语涩舌强。
金箔镇心丸 全蝎七个（用薄荷叶包缚，慢火炙干），天麻、防风、羌活、牛黄、赤茯苓、犀角、甘草、
辰砂、麝香各一钱，为末，蜜丸皂子大，金箔二十片为衣。每二三丸，薄荷煎汤化下。镇心解热，退惊安神，
除烦躁，止夜啼。
天麻防风丸 天麻、防风、人参各一两，全蝎七个，僵蚕、粉草各五钱，雄黄、朱砂各二钱半，牛黄一钱，麝
香五分，为末，蜜丸梧子大。每一丸至二丸，薄荷煎汤化下。治撮口脐风及一切惊风，身热多睡，惊悸，手足搐
掣，精神昏愦，痰涎不利及风湿邪热并宜。一方去牛黄，用人参或冬瓜仁煎汤下。治慢惊不省，手足微动，眼
上视昏睡。
转惊丸 人参、防风、白附子、僵蚕、全蝎各一钱，南星、天麻各二钱，为末飞，面糊丸梧子大。每十丸，
姜汤下。治小儿脾气虚弱，泄泻瘦怯，冷疳洞泄及吐泻久病转成慢惊，身冷螈 等症。
积则消之化之下之，紫霜白玉攸宜。
消积丸 丁香、砂仁各十二个，乌梅肉、巴豆肉各三个，使君子五个，为末，饭丸麻子大。每三丸，橘皮
煎汤下。治乳食伤积，心腹胀满，气粗壮热，或呕或泻。
木香丸 木香、莪术、砂仁、青皮、朱砂、代赭石各二钱，丁香、巴豆肉各一钱，为末飞，面糊丸麻子大。
每三丸，乳积，乳汁下；食积，米饮下，后与大异香散；气积，橘皮煎汤下，后与流气饮子。
紫霜丸 代赭石、赤石脂各一两，杏仁五十粒，巴霜三十粒，为末，蒸饼丸粟米大。每三丸或十丸，量儿大
小米饮乳汁任下，以利为度，未利再服。治食痫腹胀身软，腰强眼缓，宜先用此取积，并不虚人；又治变蒸发
热不解，并挟伤寒壮热，汗后不解及乳哺失节，胸有痰癖宿食，乳则 吐，先寒后热；或内挟冷食，大便酸臭，
兼治惊积。凡儿有热不欲饮乳，眠卧不宁，此皆发痫之渐，即以此丸导之，时间量与此减其盛势，则无惊风钓
痫之患。
白玉饼 白附子、南星、滑石、轻粉各一钱，巴霜十九粒，为末，面糊丸绿豆大，捏作
饼，三岁一丸，五岁二丸，葱汤化下。治腹中有癖，但饮乳嗽而生痰；及急慢惊风，痫 潮搐，壮热痰涎壅盛。
一方去轻粉、南星、白附子，用半夏十二个，巴霜五十粒，滑石、寒食面各一两，水丸，姜汤下。治脾气不足，
乳食不消，吐泻惊疳，肚腹潮热，咳嗽痢疾等症。
风寒感伤，羌活大青膏当煮；
羌活膏 天麻、赤茯苓各五钱，羌活、防风各二钱半，人参、全蝎、朱砂、硫黄、水银各一钱，先以硫黄、
水银同研如泥，次以余药同为末，蜜调成膏，旋丸皂子大。每一丸，煎薄荷汤化下。治伤寒阴症及脾虚生痰，
肝热生风，或吐泻后成慢惊。
大青膏 天麻、青黛各一钱，白附子一钱半，蝎梢、乌蛇肉各五分，朱砂、麝香、天竺黄各一字，为末，
蜜调成膏。每服半皂子大，月中儿粳米大，煎薄荷汤化下；五岁以上，煎甘露饮下。治伤风发热，热则生风，
欲为惊搐，血气未实，不能胜邪故也。大小便调，口中气热，宜此发之。
大黄丸 大黄一两，黑丑五钱，川芎五分，甘草一分，为末，糊丸麻子大。每十丸，量儿大小虚实，蜜汤
下，以微利为度。治风热内实，口中气热，大小便闭，饮水不止，有下症者宜服。
痰喘咳嗽，葶牛百部丸可为。
葶牛丸 葶苈、黑丑、杏仁，防己各等分为末，枣肉丸麻子大。每五七丸，淡姜汤下。治乳食冲肺，伤风咳
嗽，面赤身热，痰盛喘促。
百部丸 百部、麻黄各三钱，杏仁四十个，为末，蜜丸皂子大。每二三丸，温水化下。治感寒壅嗽微喘。
生犀紫阳连翘饮，能宽变蒸诸热；
小生犀散 犀角一钱，地骨皮、赤芍、柴胡、干葛各一两，甘草二两，每三钱，水煎服。治骨蒸肌热瘦悴，
颊赤口渴，晡热盗汗，五心烦热。
紫阳黑散 麻黄、杏仁各一两，大黄五钱，俱烧存性为末。每一字，乳汁调，或水煎，抱儿于温暖处，连
服微汗身凉即愈。治变蒸，解利热气。
连翘饮 连翘、瞿麦、滑石、车前子、牛蒡子、赤芍各一分，山栀仁、木通、蝉蜕、当归、防风各半分，
黄芩、荆芥各一分半，柴胡、甘草各二分，水煎服，即八正散加减。治小儿诸热，表里俱宜。如风热、痰热、
变蒸热、肝热、大肠热、瘾疹热，加麦门冬；丹热、实热、血热、三焦热、小肠热加大黄、灯心；麻痘热、
温气热、已出未出症热，加紫草、当归；余毒热、胎热、肺热，伤寒后、疮疹后余毒发热，加薄荷；项上生核
作热、痈疖毒热，加大黄、朴硝。
宽热饮 枳壳一两（水浸去穣，以巴豆四十九粒同炒黄、去巴），大黄一两，朴硝五钱，甘草一钱，为末。
每三五分，薄荷煎汤调服，当利下如鼻涕，或成块腥臭恶物。治小儿惊热天钓，手足搐搦，肚腹有热；兼治食
积乳癖，生痰动气。
天乙观音银白散，善调虚弱胃脾。
天乙丸 灯心一斤，以米粉浆洗，晒干为末，入水澄之，浮者为灯心，取出入药二两半，赤白茯苓兼茯神
共五两，滑石、猪苓各五两，泽泻三两，为末，用人参一斤煎膏；一方用人参、白术各六两，甘草四两，同煎膏
和丸如龙眼大，朱砂为衣，金箔裹之。每一丸，随病换引化下。大假小儿生理，本天一生水之妙，凡治病以水
道通利为快捷方式也，此方清心利便，所以散火也。凡小儿瘟热丹毒，惊风痰热，变蒸发热之症，用之最当，而呕吐
泻痢诸症，无不治也。
观音散 人参一钱，莲肉、神曲各二分，茯苓一分半，白术、黄 、木香、白扁豆、甘草各一分，姜枣
煎服。治外感风冷，内伤饮食，呕逆吐泻，不进饮食，久渐羸弱。一方加防风、羌活、天麻、全蝎，名全蝎观音
散，治吐泻后慢脾风，甚者加川乌。
银白散 升麻、知母、山药、白扁豆、人
参、白术、茯苓、甘草各等分，为末，每一钱，沸汤调服。治小儿百病，加减由人，如慢惊搐搦，麝香饮汤下；急惊定后，
陈米汤下，惊吐不止，丁香煎汤下；天柱骨倒脚软，浓米汤下；夹惊伤寒，薄荷、葱白煎汤下；疳气肚胀气急
多渴，百合煎汤下；壮热面赤惊叫，金银、薄荷煎汤下；赤白痢不思食，及诸病后倦怠不思食，姜、枣煎汤下；吃
食不知饥饱，不长肌肉，麦芽、生姜煎汤下；暴吐，紫苏、木瓜煎汤下；神形脱；语言不正及大人吐泻，藿香
叶煎汤调服；若禀受气怯小儿，可每日一服最妙。
痘初消毒加地皮，快斑透肌如四圣；
消毒饮 鼠粘子八分，荆芥四分，甘草二分，水煎温服。治痘欲出未出，已出壮热未彻，咽痛胸紧便秘，及
愈后一切疮毒赤肿等症。急进三四服，快透消毒，应手神效，惟内虚便利者忌用。如虚热加地骨皮；壮热加黄
芩、紫草；实者加生犀磨汁；痘已出未匀，减荆芥三分；出不快及痒，加蝉蜕；有汗加防风；减食加人参、山楂；
便秘加大黄；气虚加参、术；血虚加芎、归。百般加减由人。
快斑散 紫草、蝉蜕、人参，白芍各五分，木通二分，甘草一分，水煎服，治痘出不快，一方去木通。中穿山
甲等分，治痘已出，被风复入。
透肌散 紫草一钱，升麻、甘草各五分，糯米五十粒，水煎服。治痘已发不快。解毒清热凉血加蝉蜕、地
骨皮、酒芩。
如圣汤 白芍、升麻、干葛各五分，甘草、紫草、木通各二分半，山楂根三寸，姜、葱煎热服。治痘疮已
出未出，身热如火，头疼脸赤，呵欠鼻疮。如心烦加麦门冬、赤茯苓；烦渴合生脉散；身热如火，加酒芩、地
皮。
四圣散 紫草、木通各一钱，枳壳、甘草各五分，水煎温服。治痘出不快及倒靥陷伏，恶候毒瓦斯入内，腹胀
溺赤。如气弱，去枳壳加黄 。
加味四圣散 紫草、木通、木香、黄 、川芎、甘草、人参各等分，蝉蜕减半，每二钱，水煎服。治痘出
不快及变陷倒靥，小便赤涩，余热不除，一切恶候；或痘出被风吹，复不见，入皮肤内，郁热不散。如便闭加
枳壳；便调加糯米，能解毒，发痘也。
痘出解毒夸紫草，活血匀气胜万金。
解毒防风汤 防风五分，地骨皮、黄 、枳壳、白芍、荆芥穗、鼠粘子各二分半，水煎温服。治痘七日后壮热，
毒盛气弱，痘出不快，及痘出而声又哑。
紫草饮 紫草一两，用百沸汤一碗沃之，以物盖定，勿令泄气俟温，量儿大小服之，虽出亦轻。治痘欲出未
出，或痘一热出齐，服此重变轻，惟便利者忌服。或加陈皮、葱白尤妙。如发斑疹，加钩藤，酒调服。
紫草膏 紫草、白附子、麻黄、甘草各五钱，全蝎二十个，僵蚕八个，蟾酥一钱，为末，另用紫草一两
煎膏，入炼蜜二两，酒半盏，搅匀和丸绿豆大，每一丸。治痘已出不快及惊风痫疾。如初发热重者，败毒散化
下；初发惊狂者，薄荷、葱白、灯心煎汤下；色红紫黑陷，紫草煎汤下；色淡白灰陷，热酒下。
加味紫草饮 紫草、白芍、麻黄、甘草各五分，水煎温服，治痘出未透。如年壮及北方皮浓之人，加蟾酥、
辰砂。盖紫草解毒，麻黄发汗，固能发痘；佐以辰砂解胎毒、凉心火；蟾酥善祛脏腑毒瓦斯，从毛孔作臭汗出。
凡表实难出，俱宜用此四味；如血虚出不匀，色不润者，加当归。紫草木香汤，紫草、木香、人参、白术、茯苓、
甘草各四分，糯米三十粒，水煎温服。治痘出不快，大便泄利。盖紫草能利大便，故用木香、白术佐之。或隐或
见者，加藿香。
启脾散：莲子肉一两，白术、茯苓、山药、神曲、山楂各五钱，人参、猪苓、泽泻、藿香、木香、当归、白芍、砂仁各三钱，肉豆蔻三个，陈皮二钱，甘草一钱。若因惊风后服用，加辰砂、滑石各二钱。将上述药材研为细末。任意用姜汤调服。初生婴儿可涂抹在乳头上让其吸吮服用。百病痊愈后，均以此药调理脾胃为主。
大利惊丸：天南星二钱，白附子、牙硝、天麻、五灵脂、全蝎各一钱，轻粉五分，巴豆霜一字（约0.3-0.6克）。将上述药材研为细末，用糊剂制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每服一丸，用薄荷、生姜泡制的汤剂送服。治疗小儿脐风（新生儿破伤风），症见腹部胀满、肚脐肿胀，身体沉重僵硬，四肢强直，日夜啼哭不止，无法吸吮乳汁，严重时出现抽搐及“钓肠”、“锁肚”、“撮口”等症，内气牵引疼痛，肠胃郁结不通，宜用此方化痰降逆、利惊定搐。
凉惊丸：青黛、草龙胆各三钱，钩藤二钱，防风、黄连各五分，牛黄、冰片、麝香各一字。将上述药材研为细末，用糊剂制成如粟米大小的丸剂。每服三至五丸，用金银花煎汤送服。治疗惊热、胎惊引起的抽搐，心神恍惚，牙关紧闭，眼球上翻伴潮热，手足动摇，握拳抽动。
小凉惊丸：郁金二个（用皂角水浸泡），黄连、牙硝、木香、藿香、龙胆草各五钱，全蝎六个。将上述药材研为细末，用糊剂制成如麻子大小的丸剂，以雄黄、麝香、朱砂、金银箔为衣，每五十丸为一组。针对风痰惊热，用麻仁、防风、蝉蜕煎汤送服；针对潮热，用桃柳枝煎汤送服；针对镇惊，用薄荷、灯心草煎汤送服；针对夜啼，用灯心草、薄荷、灶心土煎汤送服；针对盘肠气痛、钓气、天钓（急惊风），用钩藤煎汤送服；针对呕吐，用藿香煎汤送服；针对腹泻，用木瓜、陈皮煎汤送服；针对白痢，用白姜、罂粟壳煎汤送服；针对赤痢，用甘草、乌梅煎汤送服；针对大便闭塞，用枳壳、芒硝、大黄煎汤送服；针对咳嗽，用乌梅、桑白皮煎汤送服；针对呕吐不止，用丁香煎汤送服，若无效，加用黄荆叶；针对精神不爽，常服冬瓜仁，并用金银花、薄荷煎汤送服。治疗惊热恍惚，四肢抽搐，潮热昏迷，忽冷忽醒，或因受惊怪刺激所致，属阳证惊痫。
温惊丸：人参、辰砂、赤石脂、茯苓各五钱，白术一两，山药二两，乳香、麝香各二钱。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如芡实大小的丸剂。每服一丸，用薄荷煎饮化开送服。治疗胎寒腹痛，乳汁和大便呈青色，乳食不消化。
大温惊丸：人参、茯苓、白术、辰砂、麦门冬、木香、代赭石各五钱，甘草、酸枣仁各一两，僵蚕、桔梗尾各二钱半，全蝎五个，金银箔各六片。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如绿豆大小的丸剂，根据患儿年龄大小给药。急惊潮热，用薄荷、竹茹煎汤送服；慢惊，用冬瓜仁煎汤送服；夜啼，用灶心土煎汤送服；抽搐，用防风煎汤送服；伤风，用荆芥煎汤送服；疹痘，用蝉蜕煎汤送服。常服者用金银花、薄荷煎汤送服。治疗心热烦躁夜啼，常用此方安神定志、消除惊恐。若惊风已退但神志未定者，加琥珀、远志。
珠银丸：水银（蒸枣肉研磨如泥）、全蝎各一钱，白附子一钱半，天南星、朱砂、片脑（冰片）各一字，天浆子、牛黄、芦荟、麝香各半分，铅霜五分，与水银一起研磨僵蚕七个。将上述药材研为细末，用粟米糊制成如芥菜籽大小的丸剂。每服一丸，用薄荷煎汤送服，以利去胎中蕴毒为度，若未通利可再服。治疗小儿脐风，口噤眼翻，一切胎风胎毒，痰盛壮热，也治疗惊积，宜酌情使用。
辰砂膏：辰砂三钱，硼砂、马牙硝各一钱半，玄明粉二钱，全蝎、真珠末各一钱，麝香一字。将上述药材研为细末，用油纸密封包裹，自然形成膏状。每次取少许如豆大，用金银花、薄荷煎汤送服。若出现潮热抽搐，用甘草煎汤送服；一个月内婴儿，用乳汁调敷于乳头处令其吸吮。治疗口噤眼闭，啼哭声渐小，舌上聚肉如粟米状，无法吸吮乳汁，口吐白沫，大小便通畅。
辰砂化痰丸：辰砂、枯矾各五钱，天南星一两，半夏曲三两。将上述药材研为细末，用姜汁煮过，用面糊制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂，另用辰砂为衣。每十丸用姜汤送服。也治疗风壅（风邪壅滞），小儿痰嗽，用生姜、薄荷煎汤化开一丸送服。治疗风邪化痰，安神定志，利咽膈，清眼目，止咳嗽，除烦闷。
龙脑安神丸：茯苓三两，人参、地骨皮、甘草、麦门冬各二两，桑白皮、犀角各一两，牛黄五钱，龙脑（冰片）、麝香各三钱，朱砂、牙硝各二钱。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如弹子大小的丸剂，用金箔十五片为衣。每服一丸，冬季用温水、夏季用冷水化开送服，小儿酌情服用。治疗五种癫痫，发作无定时以及虚劳发热，咳嗽语涩舌强。
金箔镇心丸：全蝎七个（用薄荷叶包裹缚紧，慢火炙干），天麻、防风、羌活、牛黄、赤茯苓、犀角、甘草、辰砂、麝香各一钱。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如皂荚子大小的丸剂，用金箔二十片为衣。每服二至三丸，用薄荷煎汤化开送服。镇心安神，解热退惊，除烦躁，止夜啼。
天麻防风丸：天麻、防风、人参各一两，全蝎七个，僵蚕、粉草（甘草）各五钱，雄黄、朱砂各二钱半，牛黄一钱，麝香五分。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每服一至二丸，用薄荷煎汤化开送服。治疗撮口脐风及一切惊风，身热多睡，惊悸，手足抽搐，精神昏愦，痰涎不利以及风湿邪热并宜。另一法去掉牛黄，用人参或冬瓜仁煎汤送服。治疗慢惊不省人事，手足微动，眼睛上视昏睡。
转惊丸：人参、防风、白附子、僵蚕、全蝎各一钱，天南星、天麻各二钱。将上述药材研细飞过，用面糊制成如梧桐子大小的丸剂。每十丸用姜汤送服。治疗小儿脾气虚弱，泄泻瘦弱，冷疳洞泄以及吐泻久病转成慢惊，身冷抽搐等症状。
消积丸：丁香、砂仁各十二个，乌梅肉、巴豆肉各三个，使君子五个。将上述药材研为细末，用米饭制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每三丸用橘皮煎汤送服。治疗乳食伤积，心腹胀满，气粗身热，或呕吐或腹泻。
木香丸：木香、莪术、砂仁、青皮、朱砂、代赭石各二钱，丁香、巴豆肉各一钱。将上述药材研细飞过，用面糊制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每三丸，若是乳积，用乳汁送服；若是食积，用米饮送服，随后服用大异香散；若是气积，用橘皮煎汤送服，随后服用流气饮子。
紫霜丸：代赭石、赤石脂各一两，杏仁五十粒，巴豆霜三十粒。将上述药材研为细末，用蒸饼制成如粟米大小的丸剂。每服三丸或十丸，根据患儿大小，用小米饮或乳汁任送服，以利下为度，若未通利可再服。治疗食痫腹胀身软，腰强眼缓，宜先用此方攻逐积滞，并不伤正气；又治疗变蒸发热不解，兼挟伤寒壮热，汗后不解以及乳哺失节，胸有痰癖宿食，哺乳则呕吐，先寒后热；或内挟冷食，大便酸臭，兼治惊积。凡小儿有热不欲饮乳，眠卧不宁，这都是发痫的征兆，即用此丸导引，适时适量给予以减轻病势，则无惊风钓痫之患。
白玉饼：白附子、天南星、滑石、轻粉各一钱，巴豆霜十九粒。将上述药材研为细末，用面糊制成如绿豆大小的丸剂，捏作饼状。三岁服一丸，五岁服二丸，用葱汤化开送服。治疗腹中有癖块，仅因饮乳咳嗽而生痰；以及急慢惊风，痫证潮搐，壮热痰涎壅盛。另一法去掉轻粉、天南星、白附子，用半夏十二个，巴豆霜五十粒，滑石、寒食面各一两，用水制成丸剂，姜汤送服。治疗脾气不足，乳食不消，吐泻惊疳，肚腹潮热，咳嗽痢疾等症。
羌活膏：天麻、赤茯苓各五钱，羌活、防风各二钱半，人参、全蝎、朱砂、硫黄、水银各一钱。先将硫黄、水银同研如泥，再将其余药物同为细末，用蜂蜜调成膏状，随时制成如皂荚子大小的丸剂。每服一丸，煎薄荷汤化开送服。治疗伤寒阴症及脾虚生痰，肝热生风，或吐泻后成慢惊。
大青膏：天麻、青黛各一钱，白附子一钱半，蝎梢、乌蛇肉各五分，朱砂、麝香、天竺黄各一字。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜调成膏状。每次服半颗皂荚子大，一月内婴儿服如粳米大，煎薄荷汤化开送服；五岁以上，煎甘露饮送服。治疗伤风发热，热则生风，欲为惊搐，血气未实，不能胜邪故也。大小便调，口中气热，宜用此方发散。
大黄丸：大黄一两，黑丑（牵牛子）五钱，川芎五分，甘草一分。将上述药材研为细末，用糊剂制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每十丸，根据患儿大小虚实，用蜜汤送服，以微利为度。治疗风热内实，口中气热，大小便闭，饮水不止，有下症者宜服。
葶牛丸：葶苈、黑丑、杏仁、防己各等分为末，用枣肉制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每五至七丸，用淡姜汤送服。治疗乳食冲肺，伤风咳嗽，面赤身热，痰盛喘促。
百部丸：百部、麻黄各三钱，杏仁四十个。将上述药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成如皂荚子大小的丸剂。每二至三丸，用温水化开送服。治疗感寒壅嗽微喘。
小生犀散：犀角一钱，地骨皮、赤芍、柴胡、干葛各一两，甘草二两。每三钱，水煎服。治疗骨蒸肌热瘦悴，颊赤口渴，晡热盗汗，五心烦热。
紫阳黑散：麻黄、杏仁各一两，大黄五钱，俱烧存性为末。每一字（约0.3-0.6克），用乳汁调服，或水煎，抱儿于温暖处，连服微汗身凉即愈。治疗变蒸，解利热气。
连翘饮：连翘、瞿麦、滑石、车前子、牛蒡子、赤芍各一分，山栀仁、木通、蝉蜕、当归、防风各半分，黄芩、荆芥各一分半，柴胡、甘草各二分。水煎服，即八正散加减。治疗小儿诸热，表里俱宜。如风热、痰热、变蒸热、肝热、大肠热、瘾疹热，加麦门冬；丹热、实热、血热、三焦热、小肠热加大黄、灯心；麻痘热、温气热、已出未出症热，加紫草、当归；余毒热、胎热、肺热，伤寒后、疮疹后余毒发热，加薄荷；项上生核作热、痈疖毒热，加大黄、朴硝。
宽热饮：枳壳一两（水浸去穣，以巴豆四十九粒同炒黄、去巴），大黄一两，朴硝五钱，甘草一钱。将上述药材研为细末。每三五分，用薄荷煎汤调服，当利下如鼻涕，或成块腥臭恶物。治疗小儿惊热天钓，手足搐搦，肚腹有热；兼治食积乳癖，生痰动气。
天乙丸：灯心一斤，以米粉浆洗，晒干为末，入水澄之，浮者为灯心，取出入药二两半，赤白茯苓兼茯神共五两，滑石、猪苓各五两，泽泻三两。将上述药材研为细末，用人参一斤煎膏；另一方用人参、白术各六两，甘草四两，同煎膏和丸如龙眼大，朱砂为衣，金箔裹之。每服一丸，随病换引化下。大概认为小儿生理，本乎“天一生水”之妙，凡治病以水道通利为快捷方式也，此方清心利便，所以散火也。凡小儿瘟热丹毒，惊风痰热，变蒸发热之症，用之最当，而呕吐泻痢诸症，无不治也。
观音散：人参一钱，莲肉、神曲各二分，茯苓一分半，白术、黄芪、木香、白扁豆、甘草各一分。姜枣煎服。治疗外感风冷，内伤饮食，呕逆吐泻，不进饮食，久渐羸弱。另一方加防风、羌活、天麻、全蝎，名全蝎观音散，治疗吐泻后慢脾风，甚者加川乌。
银白散：升麻、知母、山药、白扁豆、人参、白术、茯苓、甘草各等分。将上述药材研为细末，每一钱，沸汤调服。治疗小儿百病，加减由人，如慢惊搐搦，麝香饮汤下；急惊定后，陈米汤下，惊吐不止，丁香煎汤下；天柱骨倒脚软，浓米汤下；夹惊伤寒，薄荷、葱白煎汤下；疳气肚胀气急多渴，百合煎汤下；壮热面赤惊叫，金银、薄荷煎汤下；赤白痢不思食，及诸病后倦怠不思食，姜、枣煎汤下；吃食不知饥饱，不长肌肉，麦芽、生姜煎汤下；暴吐，紫苏、木瓜煎汤下；神形脱；语言不正及大人吐泻，藿香叶煎汤调服；若禀受气怯小儿，可每日一服最妙。
痘初消毒加地皮，快斑透肌如四圣；
消毒饮：鼠粘子（牛蒡子）八分，荆芥四分，甘草二分。水煎温服。治疗痘欲出未出，已出壮热未彻，咽痛胸紧便秘，及愈后一切疮毒赤肿等症。急进三四服，快透消毒，应手神效，惟内虚便利者忌用。如虚热加地骨皮；壮热加黄芩、紫草；实者加生犀磨汁；痘已出未匀，减荆芥三分；出不快及痒，加蝉蜕；有汗加防风；减食加人参、山楂；便秘加大黄；气虚加参、术；血虚加芎、归。百般加减由人。
快斑散：紫草、蝉蜕、人参，白芍各五分，木通二分，甘草一分。水煎服，治痘出不快，一方去木通。中穿山甲等分，治痘已出，被风复入。
透肌散：紫草一钱，升麻、甘草各五分，糯米五十粒。水煎服。治痘已发不快。解毒清热凉血加蝉蜕、地骨皮、酒芩。
如圣汤：白芍、升麻、干葛各五分，甘草、紫草、木通各二分半，山楂根三寸。姜、葱煎热服。治痘疮已出未出，身热如火，头疼脸赤，呵欠鼻疮。如心烦加麦门冬、赤茯苓；烦渴合生脉散；身热如火，加酒芩、地皮。
四圣散：紫草、木通各一钱，枳壳、甘草各五分。水煎温服。治痘出不快及倒靥陷伏，恶候毒瓦斯入内，腹胀溺赤。如气弱，去枳壳加黄芪。
加味四圣散：紫草、木通、木香、黄芪、川芎、甘草、人参各等分，蝉蜕减半，每二钱，水煎服。治痘出不快及变陷倒靥，小便赤涩，余热不除，一切恶候；或痘出被风吹，复不见，入皮肤内，郁热不散。如便闭加枳壳；便调加糯米，能解毒，发痘也。
解毒防风汤：防风五分，地骨皮、黄芪、枳壳、白芍、荆芥穗、鼠粘子各二分半。水煎温服。治痘七日后壮热，毒盛气弱，痘出不快，及痘出而声又哑。
紫草饮：紫草一两，用百沸汤一碗沃之，以物盖定，勿令泄气俟温，量儿大小服之，虽出亦轻。治痘欲出未出，或痘一热出齐，服此重变轻，惟便利者忌服。或加陈皮、葱白尤妙。如发斑疹，加钩藤，酒调服。
紫草膏：紫草、白附子、麻黄、甘草各五钱，全蝎二十个，僵蚕八个，蟾酥一钱。将上述药材研为细末，另用紫草一两煎膏，入炼蜜二两，酒半盏，搅匀和丸绿豆大，每一丸。治痘已出不快及惊风痫疾。如初发热重者，败毒散化下；初发惊狂者，薄荷、葱白、灯心煎汤下；色红紫黑陷，紫草煎汤下；色淡白灰陷，热酒下。
加味紫草饮：紫草、白芍、麻黄、甘草各五分。水煎温服，治痘出未透。如年壮及北方皮浓之人，加蟾酥、辰砂。盖紫草解毒，麻黄发汗，固能发痘；佐以辰砂解胎毒、凉心火；蟾酥善祛脏腑毒瓦斯，从毛孔作臭汗出。凡表实难出，俱宜用此四味；如血虚出不匀，色不润者，加当归。紫草木香汤，紫草、木香、人参、白术、茯苓、甘草各四分，糯米三十粒。水煎温服。治痘出不快，大便泄利。盖紫草能利大便，故用木香、白术佐之。或隐或见者，加藿香。
Qipi San (Spleen-Initiating Powder): 1 liang of Lotus Seed Meat, 5 qian each of Atractylodis Rhizoma (Baizhu), Poria (Fuling), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao), Medicated Leaven (Shenqu), and Crataegi Fructus (Shanzha); 3 qian each of Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Polyporus (Zhuling), Alismatis Rhizoma (Zexie), Agasteghis Herba (Huoxiang), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Paeoniae Radix Alba (Baishao), and Amomi Fructus (Sharen); 3 Nutmegs (Roudoukou); 2 qian of Chenpi; 1 qian of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao). If taken after convulsions due to fright, add 2 qian each of Cinnabar (Chensha) and Talcum (Huashi). Grind into fine powder. Take with ginger decoction as desired. For newborns, apply to the nipple for sucking. After recovery from various diseases, this medicine is primarily used to regulate the Spleen.
Dali Jing Wan (Great Benefit Fright Pill): 2 qian of Arisaematis Rhizoma (Nanxing), 1 qian each of Bryoniae Radix (Baifuzi), Natrii Sulfas (Yaxiao), Gastrodiae Rhizoma (Tianma), Trogopteri Dung (Wulingzhi), and Scorpio (Quanxie); 5 fen of Calomelas (Qingfen); 1 zi (approx. 0.3-0.6g) of Crotonis Semen Preparatum (Bashuang). Grind into fine powder, make pills with paste the size of hemp seeds. Take one pill per dose, washed down with a decoction of Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) and Zingiberis Rhizoma (Shengjiang). Treats infantile umbilical tetanus (Qi Feng), abdominal distension, swollen umbilicus, heavy and stiff body, rigid limbs, crying day and night, inability to suckle milk, and in severe cases, wind convulsions, "hooked intestine," "locked belly," or "pursed mouth" syndromes, internal qi pulling pain, and stagnation of intestines and stomach. This formula is suitable for resolving phlegm and benefiting fright.
Liang Jing Wan (Cooling Fright Pill): 3 qian each of Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) and Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma (Caolongdan); 2 qian of Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng); 5 fen each of Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) and Scutellariae Radix (Huanglian); 1 zi each of Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang), Borneolum Syntheticum (Longnao), and Moschus (Shexiang). Grind into fine powder, make pills the size of millet grains. Take 3-5 pills per dose, washed down with a decoction of Lonicerae Japonicae Flos (Jinyinhua). Treats heat from fright, fetal fright causing convulsions, vague spirit, locked jaw, upward staring eyes with tidal fever, trembling limbs, clenched fists, and spasms.
Xiao Liang Jing Wan: 2 Jinyu (immersed in soap pod water), 5 qian each of Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Natrii Sulfas (Yaxiao), Aucklandiae Radix (Muxiang), Agasteghis Herba (Huoxiang), and Gentianae Radix et Rhizoma (Longdancao); 6 Quanxie. Grind into fine powder, make pills the size of hemp seeds with paste, coated with Realgar (Xionghuang), Moschus (Shexiang), Cinnabar (Zhusha), and gold/silver foil. Each batch consists of 50 pills. For wind-phlegm and fright-heat, wash down with a decoction of Cannabis Fructus (Maren), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), and Bombyx Batryticatus (Chantui); for tidal fever, use Peach and Willow branches; for calming fright, use Menthae Haplocalycis Herba (Bohe) and Junci Medulla (Dengxin); for night crying, use Dengxin, Bohe, and Caulis et Folium Nelumbinis (Zaoxintu); for coiled intestine, hooking qi, or heavenly hook (acute convulsions), use Gouteng; for vomiting, use Huoxiang; for diarrhea, use Chaenomelis Fructus (Mugua) and Chenpi; for white dysentery, use Baijiang and Papaveris Pericarpium (Suke); for red dysentery, use Gancao and Mume Fructus (Wumei); for constipation, use Aurantii Fructus (Zhiqiao), Natrii Sulfas (Xiaoshuang), and Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang); for cough, use Wumei and Morus Cortex (Sangbaipi); for persistent vomiting, use Tingzi (Dingxiang), and if ineffective, add Vitexis Fructus (Huangjingye); for mental dullness, take Winter Melon Seed (Dongguaren) regularly, washed down with Jinyinhua and Bohe decoction. Treats fright-heat vagueness, limb spasms, tidal fever, coma, alternating fever and waking, or caused by startling stimuli, belonging to Yang syndrome fright epilepsy.
Wen Jing Wan (Warming Fright Pill): 5 qian each of Renshen, Chensha, Red Halloysite (Chishizhi), and Fuling; 1 liang of Baizhu; 2 liang of Shanyao; 2 qian each of Frankincense (Ruxiang) and Shexiang. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of Euryales Semen (Qianshi). Take one pill per dose, dissolved in Bohe decoction. Treats fetal cold abdominal pain, green milk and stool, and indigestion of milk/food.
Da Wen Jing Wan (Great Warming Fright Pill): 5 qian each of Renshen, Fuling, Baizhu, Chensha, Ophiopogonis Radix (Mendong), Muxiang, and Haematitum (Daizheshi); 1 liang each of Gancao and Ziziphi Spinosae Semen (Suanzaoren); 2.5 qian each of Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan) and Platycodonis Radix Tail (Jiegengwei); 5 Quanxie; 6 pieces each of Gold and Silver Foil. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of mung beans, dosage according to child's age. For acute fright tidal fever, wash down with Bohe and Zhu Ru decoction; for chronic fright, use Dongguaren; for night crying, use Zaoxintu; for spasms, use Fangfeng; for wind-cold, use Jingjie; for rash/measles, use Chantui. Regularly take Jinyinhua and Bohe decoction. Treats heart-heat irritability and night crying; commonly used to calm the spirit and dispel fright. If fright has subsided but spirit remains unsettled, add Succinum (Hupo) and Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi).
Zhu Yin Wan (Pearl Silver Pill): 1 qian each of Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, prepared with steamed jujube flesh) and Quanxie; 1.5 qian of Baifuzi; 1 zi each of Nanxing, Zhusha, and Pian Nao (Borneol); 0.5 fen each of Tian Jiangzi, Niuhuang, Aloe (Luhui), and Shexiang; 0.5 fen of Plumbum Subacetatum (Qianshuang); grind together with 7 Jiangcan and Shuiyin. Grind into fine powder, make pills with millet paste the size of mustard seeds. Take one pill per dose, washed down with Bohe decoction. Continue until fetal toxins are purged; repeat if not purged. Treats infantile umbilical tetanus, locked jaw, turned eyes, all fetal wind/toxins, excessive phlegm with high fever, and also treats fright accumulation. Use with caution.
Chensha Gao (Cinnabar Paste): 3 qian of Chensha; 1.5 qian each of Borax (Pengsha) and Mayacrys (Mayaxiao); 2 qian of Mirabilite (Xuanmingfen); 1 qian each of Quanxie and Pearl Powder (Zhenzhumo); 1 zi of Shexiang. Grind into fine powder, seal in oil paper to naturally form a paste. Take a bean-sized amount, washed down with Jinyinhua and Bohe decoction. For tidal convulsions, use Gancao decoction. For infants under one month, mix with breast milk, apply to nipple for sucking. Treats locked jaw, closed eyes, diminishing cry, flesh growth on tongue like millet grains, inability to suckle, foaming at mouth, with patent bowel/bladder movements.
Chensha Huatan Wan (Cinnabar Phlegm-Resolving Pill): 5 qian each of Chensha and Alum (Kufan); 1 liang of Nanxing; 3 liang of Banxia Qu. Grind into fine powder, cook with ginger juice, make pills with wheat paste the size of walnut seeds, coat with Chensha. Take 10 pills per dose, washed down with ginger decoction. Also treats wind obstruction and pediatric phlegm cough; dissolve one pill in ginger and bohe decoction. Resolves wind, transforms phlegm, calms spirit, benefits throat/chest, clears eyes, stops cough, removes vexation.
Longnao Anshen Wan (Borneol Spirit-Calming Pill): 3 liang of Fuling; 2 liang each of Renshen, Lycii Cortex (Digupi), Gancao, and Mendong; 1 liang each of Mori Cortex (Sangbaipi) and Rhinocerotis Cornu (Xijiao); 5 qian of Niuhuang; 3 qian each of Longnao and Shexiang; 2 qian each of Zhusha and Yaxiao. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of bullet seeds, coat with 15 pieces of gold foil. Take one pill per dose, dissolve in warm water in winter or cold water in summer, adjust dosage for children. Treats five types of epilepsy with unpredictable onset, consumptive fever, cough, slurred speech, and stiff tongue.
Jinbo Zhenxin Wan (Gold Foil Heart-Calming Pill): 7 Quanxie (wrapped in Bohe leaves, slow-roasted dry); 1 qian each of Tianma, Fangfeng, Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Niuhuang, Red Poria (Chifuling), Xijiao, Gancao, Chensha, and Shexiang. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of soap pods, coat with 20 pieces of gold foil. Take 2-3 pills per dose, dissolve in Bohe decoction. Calms heart, resolves heat, reduces fright, soothes spirit, removes irritability, stops night crying.
Tianma Fangfeng Wan (Gastrodia Saposhnikovia Pill): 1 liang each of Tianma, Fangfeng, and Renshen; 7 Quanxie; 5 qian each of Jiangcan and Fencao (Gancao); 2.5 qian each of Xionghuang and Zhusha; 1 qian of Niuhuang; 0.5 fen of Shexiang. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of walnut seeds. Take 1-2 pills per dose, dissolve in Bohe decoction. Treats pursed-mouth umbilical tetanus and all fright convulsions, fever with drowsiness, palpitations, limb spasms, mental confusion, difficult phlegm-saliva, and wind-damp-heat. Alternative: omit Niuhuang, use Renshen or Dongguaren decoction. Treats chronic fright unconsciousness, slight limb movement, upward staring eyes, and drowsiness.
Zhuan Jing Wan (Turning Fright Pill): 1 qian each of Renshen, Fangfeng, Baifuzi, Jiangcan, and Quanxie; 2 qian each of Nanxing and Tianma. Fine-grind and sift, make pills with wheat paste the size of walnut seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, washed down with ginger decoction. Treats pediatric spleen qi deficiency, diarrhea, emaciation, cold gan diarrhea, and chronic vomiting/diarrhea transforming into chronic fright with cold body and spasms.
For accumulation, resolve or purge it; Zishuang Wan and Baiyu Bing are appropriate.
Xiaoji Wan (Accumulation-Resolving Pill): 12 Dingsheng (Dingxiang) and Sharen; 3 Wumei Rou and Badou Rou; 5 Qunzi (Shijunzi). Grind into fine powder, make pills with rice dough the size of hemp seeds. Take 3 pills per dose, washed down with Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Jupi) decoction. Treats milk/food injury accumulation, epigastric/abdominal fullness, coarse qi with fever, vomiting or diarrhea.
Muxiang Wan: 2 qian each of Muxiang, Curcumae Radix (Ezhu), Sharen, Citri Unshiu Fructus (Qingpi), Zhusha, and Daizheshi; 1 qian each of Dingxiang and Badou Rou. Fine-grind and sift, make pills with wheat paste the size of hemp seeds. Take 3 pills per dose: for milk accumulation, use milk; for food accumulation, use rice drink, followed by Dayixiang San; for qi accumulation, use Jupi decoction, followed by Liuqi Yinzi.
Zishuang Wan (Purple Frost Pill): 1 liang each of Daizheshi and Chishizhi; 50 Xingren; 30 Bashuang. Grind into fine powder, make pills with steamed bread dough the size of millet grains. Take 3 or 10 pills per dose, according to child's size, washed down with millet drink or milk, stop when purged; repeat if not purged. Treats food epilepsy with abdominal distension and soft body, stiff waist, and relaxed eyes. First use this to purge accumulation without damaging healthy qi; also treats bian zheng (developmental fever) unresolved, combined with shanghan high fever, unresolved after sweating, irregular feeding, chest phlegm/stasis/retained food, vomiting after nursing, alternating chills and fever; or internal cold food retention with sour-smelling stool; also treats fright accumulation. Whenever a child has heat, refuses milk, and sleeps restlessly, these are precursors to epilepsy; use this pill to guide them. Administer appropriately to reduce severity, preventing fright convulsions and hooked epilepsy.
Baiyu Bing (White Jade Cake): 1 qian each of Baifuzi, Nanxing, Huashi, and Qingfen; 19 Bashuang. Grind into fine powder, make pills with wheat paste the size of mung beans, shape into cakes. Age 3: 1 cake; Age 5: 2 cakes, dissolve in scallion decoction. Treats abdominal masses, phlegm generated solely from milk coughing; and acute/chronic fright convulsions, epilepsy tidal convulsions, high fever with excessive phlegm. Alternative: omit Qingfen, Nanxing, Baifuzi; use 12 Banxia, 50 Bashuang, 1 liang each of Huashi and Hanshimian. Make water pills, wash down with ginger decoction. Treats spleen qi deficiency, indigestion, vomiting/diarrhea fright gan, abdominal tidal fever, cough, dysentery.
For wind-cold invasion, boil Qianghuo Daqing Gao;
Qianghuo Gao (Notopterygium Paste): 5 qian each of Tianma and Chifuling; 2.5 qian each of Qianghuo and Fangfeng; 1 qian each of Renshen, Quanxie, Zhusha, Liuhuang, and Shuiyin. First grind Liuhuang and Shuiyin into mud, then grind remaining herbs into powder, mix with honey to form paste, roll into soap pod-sized pills. Take one pill per dose, dissolve in Bohe decoction. Treats shanghan yin syndrome, spleen deficiency generating phlegm, liver heat generating wind, or chronic fright after vomiting/diarrhea.
Daqing Gao (Great Cyan Paste): 1 qian each of Tianma and Qingdai; 1.5 qian of Baifuzi; 0.5 fen each of Xieshao (Scorpion tail) and Wushe Rou (Snake meat); 1 zi each of Zhusha, Shexiang, and Tianzhu Huang. Grind into fine powder, mix with honey to form paste. Take half a soap pod size for infants under one month (size of rice grain), dissolve in Bohe decoction; for over 5 years old, dissolve in Ganlu Yin. Treats wind-cold fever, heat generating wind, impending convulsions due to weak blood/qi unable to resist pathogen. Suitable when bowels/bladder are regular, mouth breath is hot.
Dahuang Wan (Rhubarb Pill): 1 liang of Dahuang; 5 qian of Heiqiu (Black Qian Niu Zi); 5 fen of Chuanxiong; 1 fen of Gancao. Grind into fine powder, make pills with paste the size of hemp seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, washed down with honey water according to child's size and deficiency/excess, stop when slightly purged. Treats internal excess of wind-heat, hot mouth breath, constipation, incessant thirst. Suitable for those with purgation indications.

Tingniu Wan: Equal parts Tingli, Heiqiu, Xingren, and Paederiae Radix (Fangji). Grind into powder, make pills with jujube flesh the size of hemp seeds. Take 5-7 pills per dose, washed down with light ginger decoction. Treats milk/food rushing lung, wind-cold cough, red face, fever, excessive phlegm, wheezing.
Baibu Wan: 3 qian each of Stemona Radix (Baibu) and Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang); 40 Xingren. Grind into fine powder, make pills with honey the size of soap pods. Take 2-3 pills per dose, dissolve in warm water. Treats cold-induced obstructive cough with slight wheezing.
Shengxi Ziyang Lianqiao Yin can relieve bian zheng fevers;
Xiao Shengxi San (Little Rhinoceros Horn Powder): 1 qian of Xijiao; 1 liang each of Digupi, Chi Shao, Chaihu, and Gegen; 2 liang of Gancao. Take 3 qian, decoct in water. Treats bone-steaming muscle fever, emaciation, red cheeks, thirst, evening tidal fever, night sweats, five-palm heat.
Ziyang Heisan (Ziyang Black Powder): 1 liang each of Mahuang and Xingren; 5 qian of Dahuang. Charred to retain nature, ground into powder. Take 1 zi, mixed with milk or decocted in water. Hold child in warm place, administer continuously until slight sweat and cooling occur. Treats bian zheng, resolves heat.
Lianqiao Yin (Forsythia Drink): 1 fen each of Lianqiao, Qumai, Huashi, Cheqianzi, Niubangzi, and Chi Shao; 0.5 fen each of Zhizi Ren, Mutong, Chantui, Danggui, and Fangfeng; 1.5 fen each of Huangqin and Jingjie; 2 fen each of Chaihu and Gancao. Decoct in water. This is Bazheng San modified. Treats pediatric heat syndromes, suitable for exterior and interior. Modifications: Add Maidong for wind-heat, phlegm-heat, bian zheng heat, liver heat, large intestine heat, urticaria heat; Add Dahuang and Dengxin for dan heat, excess heat, blood heat, sanjiao heat, small intestine heat; Add Zicao and Danggui for measles/rash heat, warm qi heat, pre/post eruption heat; Add Bohe for residual toxin heat, fetal heat, lung heat, post-shanghan/post-rash residual heat; Add Dahuang and Xiaoshuang for neck nodes with heat, carbuncle/furuncle heat.
Kuanye Yin (Heat-Widening Drink): 1 liang of Zhiqiao (soaked, pulp removed, stir-fried with 49 Bashuang until yellow, remove Bashuang); 1 liang of Dahuang; 5 qian of Xiaoshuang; 1 qian of Gancao. Grind into powder. Take 3-5 fen, mix with Bohe decoction. Expect discharge resembling snot or foul-smelling clumps. Treats pediatric fright heat heavenly hook, limb spasms, abdominal heat; also treats food/milk stasis, phlegm generation, qi movement.
Tianyi Guanyin Yinbai San effectively tonifies weak spleen/stomach.
Tianyi Wan: 1 jin of Dengxin (washed with rice flour slurry, dried, ground, water-settled, floating part kept); add 2.5 liang of medicine: 5 liang total of Chi/Fu Ling and Fushen; 5 liang each of Huashi and Zhuling; 3 liang of Zexiao. Grind into powder, use 1 jin of Renshen decocted into paste. Alternative: 6 liang each of Renshen and Baizhu, 4 liang of Gancao, decoct into paste, mix with pills the size of longan, coat with Zhusha, wrap in Jinbo. Take one pill per dose, change vehicle according to disease. Pediatric physiology relies on "Heaven generates Water"; treating disease prioritizes unblocking water passages. This formula clears heart and promotes urination to dissipate fire. Most suitable for pediatric plague heat, erysipelas, fright-phlegm heat, bian zheng heat; also treats vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery.
Guanyin San: 1 qian of Renshen; 2 fen each of Lianrou and Shenqu; 1.5 fen of Fuling; 1 fen each of Baizhu, Huangqi, Muxiang, Bai Biandou, and Gancao. Decoct with Ginger and Jujube. Treats external wind-cold, internal food injury, retching/vomiting/diarrhea, anorexia, gradual emaciation. Alternative: add Fangfeng, Qianghuo, Tianma, Quanxie, named Quanxie Guanyin San, treats chronic spleen wind after vomiting/diarrhea; add Chuanwu for severe cases.
Yinbai San: Equal parts Shengma, Zhimu, Shanyao, Bai Biandou, Renshen, Baizhu, Fuling, and Gancao. Grind into powder. Take 1 qian, mix with boiling water. Treats pediatric hundred diseases, modifications at discretion: Chronic fright spasms, wash down with Shexiang Yin; Post-acute fright stabilization, wash down with aged rice decoction; Persistent fright vomiting, wash down with Dingxiang decoction; Collapsed cervical spine/weak legs, wash down with thick rice decoction; Fright-complicated shanghan, wash down with Bohe and Congbai decoction; Gan qi abdominal distension/rapid breathing/thirst, wash down with Baihe decoction; High fever/red face/startled cries, wash down with Jinyinhua and Bohe decoction; Red/white dysentery/anorexia, post-illness fatigue/anorexia, wash down with Jiang/Zao decoction; Eating without satiety awareness/poor muscle gain, wash down with Maiya and Jiang decoction; Acute vomiting, wash down with Zisu and Mugua decoction; Spirit/form depletion; Abnormal speech/adult vomiting/diarrhea, wash down with Huoxiangye decoction. Best for children with congenital qi deficiency, one dose daily.
For early stage acne disinfection, add Digupi; rapid spot penetration resembles Six Saints;
Xiaodu Yin (Disinfecting Drink): 8 fen of Niuzangzi (Niu Bang Zi); 4 fen of Jingjie; 2 fen of Gancao. Decoct, take warm. Treats acne about to erupt or erupted with unchecked high fever, sore throat, chest tightness, constipation, and post-recovery sores/redness/swelling. Rapidly take 3-4 doses for quick penetration/disinfection, effective immediately. Contraindicated in internal deficiency with loose stools. Modifications: Deficiency heat add Digupi; Excess heat add Huangqin/Zicao; Excess add fresh Xijiao juice; Uneven eruption reduce Jingjie by 3 fen; Slow eruption/itch add Chantui; With sweat add Fangfeng; Reduced appetite add Renshen/Shanzha; Constipation add Dahuang; Qi deficiency add Renshen/Baizhu; Blood deficiency add Chuanxiong/Danggui. Modifications at discretion.
Kuaiban San (Rapid Spot Powder): 5 fen each of Zicao, Chantui, Renshen, and Baishao; 2 fen of Mutong; 1 fen of Gancao. Decoct in water. Treats slow acne eruption. Alternative: omit Mutong. Use equal parts Shan Jia (Pangolin scales), treat acne erupted but re-entered by wind.
Touji San (Muscle-Penetrating Powder): 1 qian of Zicao; 5 fen each of Shengma and Gancao; 50 Glutinous Rice grains. Decoct in water. Treats slow acne eruption. For detoxifying/clearing heat/cooling blood, add Chantui, Digupi, Jiu Qin (Wine-processed Huangqin).
Rusheng Tang (Like Sage Decoction): 5 fen each of Baishao, Shengma, and Gegen; 2.5 fen each of Gancao, Zicao, and Mutong; 3 cun of Shanzha Gen. Decoct with Ginger and Congbai, take hot. Treats acne erupted/not erupted, burning fever, headache/red face, yawning/nasal sores. For heart vexation add Maidong/Chifuling; For vexation/thirst combine with Shengmai San; For burning fever add Jiu Qin/Digupi.
Six Saints Powder (Sisheng San): 1 qian each of Zicao and Mutong; 5 fen each of Zhiqiao and Gancao. Decoct, take warm. Treats slow acne eruption, inverted/retracted crusts, evil symptoms/toxic qi entering internally, abdominal distension, dark urine. For weak qi, remove Zhiqiao, add Huangqi.
Modified Six Saints Powder: Equal parts Zicao, Mutong, Muxiang, Huangqi, Chuanxiong, Gancao, Renshen; half dose of Chantui. Take 2 qian, decoct in water. Treats slow eruption, inversion/retraction, dark/scanty urine, lingering heat, all evil symptoms; or wind-blown acne disappearing into skin, trapped heat unresolved. For constipation add Zhiqiao; for normal stool add Glutinous Rice (detoxifies, promotes eruption).
Acne detoxification praises Zicao; invigorating blood/equilibrating qi surpasses ten thousand gold.
Jiedu Fangfeng Tang (Detoxifying Saposhnikovia Decoction): 5 fen of Fangfeng; 2.5 fen each of Digupi, Huangqi, Zhiqiao, Baishao, Jingjie Sui, and Niuzangzi. Decoct, take warm. Treats high fever after 7 days of acne, strong toxin/weak qi, slow eruption, hoarse voice post-eruption.
Zicao Yin (Arnebia Drink): 1 liang of Zicao. Pour 1 bowl of boiling water, cover tightly to prevent vapor loss, cool to temperature, dose according to child. Even if erupted, condition will be mild. Treats acne about to erupt or fully erupted with heat; taking this turns severe to mild. Contraindicated in loose stools. Adding Chenpi/Congbai is excellent. For rashes, add Gouteng, take with wine.
Zicao Gao (Arnebia Paste): 5 qian each of Zicao, Baifuzi, Mahuang, Gancao; 20 Quanxie; 8 Jiangcan; 1 qian of Chan Su. Grind into powder. Separately decoct 1 liang of Zicao into paste, add 2 liang refined honey and 0.5 cup wine, mix well, make pills the size of mung beans. One pill per dose. Treats slow acne eruption and fright epilepsy. For initial heavy fever, dissolve with Baidu San; for initial fright mania, wash down with Bohe/Congbai/Dengxin decoction; for red/purple/black depressed spots, wash down with Zicao decoction; for pale/gray depressed spots, take with hot wine.
Modified Zicao Yin: 5 fen each of Zicao, Baishao, Mahuang, Gancao. Decoct, take warm. Treats incomplete acne eruption. For robust individuals or those in northern regions with thick skin, add Chan Su and Chensha. Zicao detoxifies, Mahuang induces sweating, both promote eruption; assisted by Chensha to resolve fetal toxin/cool heart fire; Chan Su expels organ toxins via pungent sweat. Suitable for all exterior-excess difficult eruptions using these four ingredients; for blood deficiency uneven eruption/pale color, add Danggui.
Zicao Muxiang Tang: 4 fen each of Zicao, Muxiang, Renshen, Baizhu, Fuling, Gancao; 30 Glutinous Rice grains. Decoct, take warm. Treats slow acne eruption with diarrhea. Zicao promotes bowel movement, hence assisted by Muxiang/Baizhu. For intermittent visibility, add Huoxiang.
