脓者，胃脘痈也，忍冬汤主之。书云∶呕家有脓，不须治呕。脓尽自愈。是胃脘痈之已溃者

丹皮（五钱） 苡仁（五钱） 栝蒌仁（一钱五分） 桃仁（去皮尖，及双仁者研，十二枚
水煎服。
若大便闭结不通，加大黄一钱五分，当归三钱，得利，止后服。
一切内外痈肿，皆可立消，但宜早服。
金银花（四两） 甘草（三钱

虫之名有九，而犹不足以尽其状也，然总不外乎湿热所生。凡物湿蒸热郁，则生虫矣。

上为末，用苦楝根皮、猪牙皂角各二两，浓煎汁一碗，和前药为丸，如桐子大，每服五
十丸，空心砂糖水送下。
若大便不实者，本方内除大黄。
理中安蛔散（见中寒。
又方，用榧子数斤，陆续去壳，空心服一、二十枚。一月之后，其虫尽去，神色大转矣
岭南之地，多有埋蛊害人之法，其法取毒物之毒，暗置饮食中，其人即中毒矣。但中毒
之人，不知解法，发时即不可救，惟太乙紫金丹，可以立解之。是以远游川广，不可无此药
咳嗽时口中吐出脓血，胸部隐隐作痛，咳出的痰液带有腥臭味，这是肺痈（肺部化脓性病变），应当使用桔梗汤治疗。肚脐周围疼痛，腹部皮肤紧绷膨隆，小便频数如同淋证，身体转动或摇晃时能听到水声，这是肠痈（肠道化脓性病变），应当使用千金牡丹皮散治疗。胃脘部胀痛，手不能按压，时常呕吐出脓液，这是胃脘痈（胃部化脓性病变），应当使用忍冬汤治疗。医书说：呕吐物中有脓液的病人，不需要专门治疗呕吐，待脓液排尽后自然痊愈。这是指胃脘痈已经溃破的情况。（注：原文此处引用桔梗汤似有误，通常胃痈用忍冬汤，肺痈用桔梗汤，但依原文翻译）。
[千金牡丹皮散方]
丹皮（五钱） 薏苡仁（五钱） 瓜蒌仁（一钱五分） 桃仁（去皮尖，并去除双仁者，研碎，十二枚）
以上药材用水煎煮后服用。
如果大便闭结不通，加大黄一钱五分，当归三钱，待大便通畅后，停止服用后续药物。
[忍冬汤方]
金银花（四两） 甘草（三钱）
以上药材用水煎煮，一次性服下。酒量好的人，可以用酒煎煮服用。
此方能迅速消除一切内外痈肿，但宜尽早服用。
寄生虫的名称有九种，但仍不足以穷尽其形态，然而总归不外乎由湿热所生。凡是物体在潮湿环境中受热蒸郁，就会产生虫子。医书说：虫子长到一尺多长，就能杀人。虫痛贯穿心脏，伤人非常迅速，应当紧急治疗，使用追虫丸治疗。但是如果是胃寒导致的吐蛔虫，应当使用理中安蛔散，这与治疗其他种类虫病的办法不同，医生们要记住这一点。
[追虫丸方]
大黄（用酒拌，蒸三次晒三次，一两） 木香（五钱） 槟榔（一两） 芜荑（去梗，一两） 白雷丸（一两） 白术（用陈土炒，七钱） 陈皮（七钱） 神曲（炒制，五钱） 枳实（面粉炒，三钱五分）
将上述药材研成粉末，用苦楝根皮、猪牙皂角各二两，浓煎取汁一碗，与前面的药粉混合制成丸药，大小如梧桐子大。每次服用五十丸，空腹时用砂糖水送服。
如果大便不成形者，本方中去掉大黄。

又一方，使用榧子几斤，陆续剥去外壳，空腹服用一二十枚。一个月之后，体内的虫子就会全部排出，人的神色会大大好转。
岭南地区，多有埋设蛊毒害人的方法，这种方法是选取毒物的毒素，暗中放置在饮食中，人一旦食用就中毒了。但是中毒的人，不知道解毒的方法，发作时就无法救治，只有太乙紫金丹，可以立即解除毒性。因此远行前往四川、广东等地，不可没有这种药。
Coughing up pus and blood from the mouth, with a dull pain in the chest, and expectorating sputum with a fishy odor, this is Lung Abscess (Fei Yong). It should be treated with Jiegeng Tang (Platycodon Decoction). Pain around the umbilicus, distension and tightness of the abdominal skin, frequent urination resembling strangury, and hearing a sloshing sound when turning or shaking the body, this is Intestinal Abscess (Chang Yong). It should be treated with Qianjin Mudanpi San (Millennium Moutan Powder). Distending and painful swelling in the epigastrium, tenderness to touch such that one cannot bear pressure, and frequent vomiting of pus, this is Gastric Abscess (Wei Yuan Yong). It should be treated with Rendong Tang (Honeysuckle Decoction). Medical texts state: "For patients who vomit pus, there is no need to specifically treat the vomiting. Once the pus is exhausted, it will heal on its own." This refers to the case where the Gastric Abscess has already ruptured.
[Qianjin Mudanpi San Formula]
Mudan Pi (Moutan Cortex) - 5 qian
Yiyi Ren (Coix Semen) - 5 qian
Gualou Ren (Trichosanthis Semen) - 1.5 qian
Taoren (Persicae Semen), peeled of skin and tips, excluding double-kernel seeds, crushed - 12 pieces
Decoct these ingredients in water and take orally.
If constipation occurs, add Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) 1.5 qian and Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) 3 qian. Stop taking subsequent doses once bowel movement is relieved.
[Rendong Tang Formula]
Jinyinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos) - 4 liang
Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) - 3 qian
Decoct these ingredients in water and take all at once. For those who can drink alcohol, decoct using wine.
This formula can rapidly resolve all internal and external carbuncles and swellings, but it is best taken early.
There are nine names for parasites, yet this still does not fully describe their forms; however, they generally arise from damp-heat. Whenever substances are steamed by dampness and oppressed by heat, worms are generated. Medical texts state: "Worms growing to about one chi in length can cause death." Worm pain piercing the heart injures people very quickly; urgent treatment is required, using Zhuichong Wan (Worm-Chasing Pill). However, if vomiting roundworms is due to Stomach Cold, Lizhong Anxi San (Regulate Middle Stabilize Roundworm Powder) should be used. This method differs from treating other types of worms; physicians should note this.
[Zhuichong Wan Formula]
Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), mixed with wine, steamed three times and sun-dried three times - 1 liang
Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix) - 5 qian
Binglang (Arecae Semen) - 1 liang
Wuyi (Cyperi Rhizoma) - 1 liang
Baileiwan (Fasciae Larvae Ascaris) - 1 liang
Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), stir-fried with aged soil - 7 qian
Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium) - 7 qian
Shenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata), stir-fried - 5 qian
Zhishi (Immaturus Fortunellae Fructus), stir-fried with flour - 3.5 qian
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Use Kuanlgenpi (Meliae Cortex) and Zhuya Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Spina) each 2 liang, decoct strongly to obtain one bowl of juice. Mix this juice with the medicinal powder to form pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills per dose, administered with sugar water on an empty stomach.
If stools are loose, remove Dahuang from this formula.

Another prescription uses Feizi (Torreya Semen). Shell several jin of them, peel them, and take 10-20 pieces on an empty stomach. After one month, the worms will be completely expelled, and the patient's complexion and spirit will greatly improve.
In the Lingnan region, there are many methods of burying Gu poison to harm people. This method involves extracting the toxin from poisonous creatures and secretly placing it in food or drink. Once ingested, the person becomes poisoned. However, poisoned individuals often do not know how to detoxify themselves; once symptoms manifest, it is incurable. Only Taiyi Zijin Dan (Supreme Purple Gold Pill) can instantly relieve the toxicity. Therefore, when traveling far to Sichuan and Guangdong, one must carry this medicine.
