方书有牝、牡、虫、血之异名，而其实皆大肠经积热所致。大法，宜用石菖蒲、忍冬藤
煎水，以瓦罐盛药，对痔熏透，然后倾入盆中浸洗之，冷则加水，如此频频熏洗，并服加
减六味丸，及国老散，自然渐次消散，可免刀针药线之苦，此亦医痔之良法也。又肛门之前
肾囊之后，此间若有肿胀出脓，名曰悬痈，又名海底漏，最难收功。若生于肛门之两傍，
则曰脏毒，较悬痈为轻耳，并用前药主之。此症皆由肾水不足，相火内烁庚金而致然也，患
者速宜保养真元，用药扶持，庶可延生，辛毋忽视是祷。

Medical texts have different names for hemorrhoids such as Pin Zhong (Female Hemorrhoid), Mu Zhong (Male Hemorrhoid), Chong Zhong (Insect Hemorrhoid), and Xue Zhong (Blood Hemorrhoid), but their essence is all caused by accumulated heat in the Large Intestine Meridian. The general principle of treatment is to decoct Shi Chang Pu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma) and Ren Dong Teng (Lonicerae Japonicae Caulis) in water, hold the medicine liquid in a clay pot, fumigate the affected area thoroughly, and then pour it into a basin for soaking and washing. Add hot water when it cools down. Repeat this frequent fumigation and washing, and simultaneously take Jia Jian Liu Wei Wan (Modified Six-Ingredient Pill with Rehmanniae Radix) and Guo Lao San (Licorice Powder). The hemorrhoids will naturally dissipate gradually, avoiding the suffering of knife, needle, and medicated thread ligation. This is also an excellent method for treating hemorrhoids. Furthermore, if swelling and pus occur between the anus and the scrotum, it is called Xuan Yong (Hanging Abscess), also known as Hai Di Lou (Bottom-of-the-Sea Fistula), which is the most difficult to heal. If it occurs on both sides of the anus, it is called Zang Du (Visceral Toxin), which is milder than Xuan Yong. Both are primarily treated with the aforementioned medicines. This condition is caused by insufficient Kidney Water, with Ministerial Fire internally scorching Geng Metal (Lungs). Treats Xuan Yong (Hanging Abscess) and Zang Du (Visceral Toxin) with miraculous effect.
Gan Cao (Licorice Root) seven segments, soak in one bowl of rapid-flowing water, roast until dry, soak again, roast again, until the water is completely absorbed. Grind into fine powder.
