又方∶取椒，布裹，薄布疰上，以熨斗盛火熨之，令汗出验。
《新录方》云∶恶疰方∶
盐五合、灶突墨三合，水三升，煮盐消去滓，顿服，吐瘥。
又方∶桃枝切三升，水四升，煮取一升六合，二服。
《范汪方》治尸注毒痛往来方∶
烧发灰 杏子中仁（熬令紫色）
凡二物，分等，膏和，酒服梧子三丸，日三。
《救急单验方》疗恶疰方∶
阿魏药服二分，和酒立瘥。
又方∶桂心三两，酒三升煮取一升，分再服瘥。
《诸病源候论》说：凡是“注”这个字，意思是停留，指邪气都停留在人体内部，所以称为注。这是由于阴阳失调，经络空虚所致。
《僧深方》记载：西王母玉壶赤丸，用于急救治疗尸注、突然发作的恶症以及水陆各种毒虫咬伤。《万病方》记载：
武都雄黄（一两，颜色像鸡冠一样红）、八角大附子（一两，经过炮制，需称重）、藜芦（一两）、丹砂（一两，不需称重。另一版本中有……）。
以上共六味药，都要精选优质药材。先将巴豆捣三千杵；接着加入石……，再捣三千杨；再加入藜芦，捣三千杵；接着加入雄黄……用丹砂……方别……乃更……无云……治万……
如果病位在腹部以下，前一晚不要进食，第二天早晨服用两丸。如果服药后没有反应，喝温米汤以促使药效发挥并排泄，如果腹泻不止，喝冷水来止泻。
病位在膈膜以上的引起呕吐，病位在膈膜以下的引起腹泻，或者只是打嗝就好了，或者吃肉不消化，腹部坚硬胀满，或者疼痛。服用一丸立刻痊愈。
风疝、寒疝、心疝、弦疝，每当各种疝气发作导致腹中急痛时，服用两丸。
积寒热、老痞、蛇痞，服用两丸。
腹胀不能饮食，服用一丸。
突然剧烈苦于寒热往来，服用一丸。
突然发生关格证，大小便不通痛苦欲死，服用两丸。
瘕结，服用一丸，每天三次服用。直到痊愈。如果是轻微的病症，使用射……丸效果很好。下利重症再次服用一丸即可停止。或者是天行疫病，下……疟疾未发作时服用一丸，已发作时服用两丸即可截断病情。
小儿百病痞，寒证兼有热证，百日到半岁的婴儿，给一丸如黍米大小的药量，涂在乳头让婴儿服下；一岁以上的儿童服用如麻子大小的药量……也……
伤寒劳损色脉及时气病，用温酒送服一丸，厚盖被子取汗即愈，如果不发汗，再用酒送服一丸，务必……苦淋路……
妇人产后余疾，以及月经不通，以及月经周期不规律，服用两丸，每天两次。
突然霍乱，心腹痛，烦闷胀满吐泻，手足逆冷，服用两丸。
注病，各种无法命名的疾病，将要服用两丸，每天两次。
如果腹中好像有虫子想要钻出胁部，症状急痛，一阵停一阵作，这是风气所致，服用两丸。
如果是无法命名的恶疮疥疽，用膏药或好醋调和药物，先用盐汤清洗疮口去除痂皮，擦干使其干燥，用药涂抹即愈。
恶风游心导致气息不畅，服用一丸即愈。
耳朵流出脓血汁及突然耳聋，用赤KT包裹两丸，塞入耳孔中即愈。
痈肿痤疖瘰疬及将要发作的……，用苦酒调和药物涂抹。
牙齿疼痛，用小丸绵裹着放入齿孔中咀嚼。
如果寒热往来，服用两丸。
如果被蛇蝮蜂蝎蛎所伤，以及疯狗狂马咬伤，用苦酒调和涂抹疮口，并服用两丸即愈。
突然中恶欲死，昏迷不知人，用酒或温水调和两丸，强行开口灌入喉中，托起身体让其咽下。
如果在野外树林沼泽或坟墓间独自住宿，烧一丸，百鬼散去不敢靠近人。
癖饮、留饮、痰饮，服用一丸，用腊月猪油调和做成如弹丸大小的药丸。装在红色囊中系在手臂上，男性左臂，女性右臂。山精鬼魅皆……
中溪水毒，服用两丸。
身上已有疮口，用苦酒调和三四丸涂抹疮上。
忧患之气结在胸中，苦于连声打嗝及咳嗽，胸中刺痛，服用如麻子大小的三丸，每天三次可愈。

腹中三虫，前一晚不要进食，第二天清晨吃牛肉羊肉，烤三块，一会儿就服用如胡豆大小的三丸，中午时分虫子就会排出。过了中午……
小儿寒热，头痛身热及吐……，服用如麻子大小的一丸，小儿消瘦，丁奚不能食，食不化，将服用两丸……
又用苦酒调和如饴糖涂抹，涂抹小儿腹部良好。
风目赤或痒，视物模糊，流泪烂……，用蜂蜜溶解如饴糖，涂抹并注入眼中……
头部突然中风肿，用苦酒或膏药调和涂抹即愈。
风头肿用膏药调和涂抹，用棉絮包裹。
如果被蛄毒所伤，吐血，腹内如针刺，服用如麻子大小的一丸，逐渐增加到胡豆大小；也可以涂抹鼻孔中；用膏药调和通涂……
治疗鼠……，用脂和涂抹疮口，取舌头有斑纹的小狗舔舐即愈。
《千金方》治疗一切注病无论新久的方剂：
先仰卧，在两乳两边斜下三寸的第二肋间施灸，随年龄决定壮数，可达三百壮。
另外，在心下三寸处，灸六十壮。
另外，在两手大拇指头，各灸七壮。
又说：十注丸主治十种注：气注、劳注、鬼注、冷注、生人注、死人注、尸注、水注、食注……

又说：治疗鬼注病相互传染尽除的方剂：
獭肝一具晒干，筛成粉末，用水服方寸匕，每天三次，神方。（《千金方》相同。）

《龙门方》治疗恶疰入心欲死的方剂：
独头蒜一枝，加枣大的墨汁，并捣碎加一小合酱汁，一次性服下，立刻痊愈。
又一方：取盐如鸡蛋大小，布包裹烧红研末，用酒送服吐出来即见效。
又一方：取花椒，布包裹，薄布敷在疰处，用熨斗盛火熨烫，令出汗见效。
《新录方》说：恶疰方：
盐五合、灶突墨三合，水三升，煮盐溶化去渣滓，一次性服下，吐出来痊愈。
又一方：桃枝切碎三升，水四升，煮取一升六合，分两次服用。
《范汪方》治疗尸注毒痛往来的方剂：
烧发灰 杏子中仁（炒至紫色）
以上两味，分量相等，用膏调和，用酒送服如梧桐子大小的三丸，每天三次。
According to the *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases), the term "Zhu" (Chronic Infectious Disease/Transmission) implies staying or remaining, referring to pathogenic factors residing within the human body; hence it is called Zhu. This condition arises from the loss of balance between Yin and Yang and the emptiness of the meridians.
The *Seng Shen Fang* records: Xi Wangmu Jade Pot Red Pills are used for emergency treatment of Shi Zhu (Corpse Transmission), sudden severe conditions, and various water and land toxic insect bites. The *Wan Bing Fang* records:
Wudu Realgar (Realgar [One tael], red like a rooster's comb), Bagong Da Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root [One tael], processed and weighed), Lilu (Veratrum [One tael]), Dansha (Cinnabar [One tael], weight not specified. Another version includes...).
There are six ingredients in total, all of which must be selected for high quality. First, crush Ba Dou (Croton Seed) three thousand times with a pestle; then add Shi..., crush three thousand times; then add Lilu (Veratrum), crush three thousand times; then add Xionghuang... use Dansha... Fang Bie... Nai Geng... Wu Yun... Zhi Wan...
For diseases located below the abdomen, do not eat the night before, and take two pills the next morning. If there is no response, drink warm rice water to induce excretion; if diarrhea persists, drink cold water to stop it.
For diseases above the diaphragm causing vomiting, and below the diaphragm causing diarrhea, or simply relieving through belching, or where meat digestion fails leading to abdominal hardness, distension, or pain, taking one pill brings immediate recovery.
For Feng Han (Wind Hernia), Han Han (Cold Hernia), Xin Han (Heart Hernia), and Xian Han (Stringy Hernia), when any hernia attacks causing acute abdominal pain, take two pills.
For Ji Han Re Lao Pi (Accumulated Cold-Heat Old Stagnation) and She Pi (Snake Stagnation), take two pills.
For abdominal distension preventing food and drink intake, take one pill.
For sudden severe alternating chills and fever, take one pill.
For sudden Guan Ge (Obstruction and Rejection syndrome) with inability to urinate or defecate and extreme suffering, take two pills.
For Jia Jie (Masses/Knots), take one pill, three times daily, until cured. For mild cases, using She... pills is very effective. For severe diarrhea, taking one pill again stops it immediately. For epidemic diseases, for Malaria (Nue) before onset take one pill, after onset take two pills to arrest the attack.
For pediatric stagnation involving hundred diseases, cold with heat, for infants aged 100 days to half a year, give one pill the size of a millet grain smeared on the nipple for sucking; for children over one year old, give a pill the size of a hemp seed... also...
For Shang Han (Cold Damage) exhaustion, abnormal complexion, and seasonal qi diseases, take one pill with warm wine. Cover thickly to induce sweating for recovery; if no sweat occurs, take another pill with wine, ensuring... Ku Lin Lu...
For postpartum residual ailments in women, amenorrhea, and irregular menstruation, take two pills, twice daily.
For sudden Huo Luan (Colic with Vomiting and Diarrhea), epigastric and abdominal pain, restlessness, fullness, vomiting and diarrhea, and cold extremities, take two pills.
For Zhu disease and various unnamed illnesses, take two pills, twice daily.
If it feels as if insects are trying to drill out of the hypochondrium with acute, intermittent pain, this is due to Wind Qi; take two pills.
For unnamed malignant sores, scabies, and carbuncles, mix the medicine with ointment or good vinegar. First wash the sore with salt water to remove crusts, dry thoroughly, then apply the medicine for cure.
For Wei Feng You Xin (Malignant Wind Wandering Heart) causing breathlessness, take one pill for cure.
For ear discharge of pus and blood and sudden deafness, wrap two pills in Chi KT and insert into the ear canal for cure.
For abscesses, acne, boils, and scrofula about to erupt, mix medicine with bitter wine (vinegar) and apply.
For toothache, wrap a small pill in cotton and place it in the tooth cavity to chew.
For alternating chills and fever, take two pills.
For injuries from snake, viper, bee, scorpion, or limpet, and bites from mad dogs or horses, mix with vinegar and apply to the wound, and take two pills internally for cure.
For sudden Zhong E (Evil Invasion) leading to near death and unconsciousness, mix two pills with wine or warm water, force open the mouth, pour into the throat, and support the patient to swallow.
If lodging alone in forests, swamps, or graveyards, burn one pill to drive away evil spirits and ghosts who will dare not approach.
For Pi Yin (Partial Fluid Retention), Liu Yin (Retained Fluids), and Tan Yin (Phlegm-Rheum), take one pill. Mix with腊月 (December) lard to make pills the size of an egg. Hang in a crimson bag tied to the arm, left for men, right for women. Mountain spirits and ghosts...
For poisoning from stream water, take two pills.
For existing sores on the body, mix three or four pills with vinegar and apply to the sore.
For Qi of worry and grief knotting in the chest, causing frequent belching, coughing, and stabbing chest pain, take three pills the size of hemp seeds, three times daily for cure.
For women with stagnant Qi in the chest, difficult breathing, hard and urgent lower abdomen, and colicky pain around the navel, take one pill the size of a hemp seed with liquid, gradually increasing to the size of a soybean.
For constant cutting pain in the heart and abdomen and internal heat, take one pill the size of a hemp seed, three times daily, curing in five days.
For evil Qi and ghost intercourse in men and women, causing erratic weeping and laughing; or abdominal enlargement with cessation of menstruation resembling pregnancy, take three pills the size of a broad bean, three times daily and once at night.

For three worms in the abdomen, fast the night before, eat beef or mutton the next morning, roast three pieces, and shortly after take three pills the size of broad beans; worms will pass at noon. After noon...
For pediatric chills and fever, headache, body heat, and vomiting..., take one pill the size of hemp seeds. For emaciated children unable to eat, Ding Xi syndrome, indigestion, take two pills...
Also mix with vinegar to resemble maltose and apply to the child's abdomen for benefit.
For wind-induced red or itchy eyes, blurred vision, tearing, and rotting..., dissolve honey to resemble maltose, apply and instill into the eyes...
For sudden wind swelling of the head, mix with vinegar or ointment and apply for cure.
For head wind swelling, mix with ointment and apply, wrapping with cotton wool.
If poisoned by Gu Du, causing hematemesis and stabbing abdominal pain, take one pill the size of hemp seeds, gradually increasing to broad bean size; also apply to nostrils; mix with ointment and apply generally...
To treat Rat Chu..., mix with fat and apply to the sore, having a spotted-tongued puppy lick it for cure.
The *Qianjin Fang* treats all Zhu diseases regardless of new or old duration:
First lie supine, moxa the second intercostal space three cun obliquely downward from both sides of the nipples, based on age, up to three hundred moxibustions.
Additionally, moxa sixty units three cun below the heart.

Peach kernel fifty grains, crushed. Boil in one dou of water to obtain four sheng. Take all at once to vomit the pathogen; if not fully expelled, repeat in two or three days. If not vomiting...
The *Ji Yan Fang* treats Zhu disease:
Take two dou of cut white bark from mulberry roots, dry them, burn to ash, leach with hot water to extract juice, soak two dou of adzuki beans in this ash juice until exhausted, steam the beans until cooked, form into... sheep/deer...
It is also said: To treat Gui Zhu (Ghost Transmission) contagious disease completely:
Dry one raccoon dog liver, sift into powder, take one cun cube with water, three times daily. Divine prescription. (Same as *Qianjin Fang*.)
The *Ji Yao Fang* treats E Zhu (Malignant Transmission) entering the heart causing near death, curing regardless of duration:
Half a tael of Benzoin resin powdered, taken with wine for cure. (Same as *Jiuji Danyan Fang*.)
It is also said: Prescription for Zhu Qi attacking without fixed pattern:
White mustard seed, pounded into pills and taken; or mixed with vinegar and applied, effective immediately.
The *Long Men Fang* treats E Zhu entering the heart causing near death:
One bulb of single-clove garlic, add ink the size of a jujube, pound together with a small he of soy sauce, take all at once for immediate recovery.
Another prescription: Take salt the size of a chicken egg, wrap in cloth, burn red, powder, take with wine to induce vomiting for effect.
Another prescription: Take Sichuan pepper, wrap in cloth, place thin cloth over the Zhu area, iron with a hot iron to induce sweating for effect.
The *Xin Lu Fang* states: E Zhu prescription:
Five he of salt, three he of chimney soot, boil in three sheng of water until salt dissolves, strain, take all at once; vomiting leads to recovery.
Another prescription: Cut three sheng of peach branches, boil in four sheng of water to obtain one sheng six tou, divide into two doses.
The *Fan Wang Fang* treats Shi Zhu toxic pain coming and going:
Ash from burned hair, Apricot kernels (fried until purple).
These two ingredients in equal parts, mixed with ointment, take three pills the size of a wutong seed with wine, three times daily.
The *Jiuji Danyan Fang* treats E Zhu:
Take two fen of Asafoetida, mix with wine for immediate recovery.
Another prescription: Three taels of Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart), boil in three sheng of wine to obtain one sheng, divide into two doses for recovery.
