用车前子二升，用丝绢袋装好，用水八升煮取三升药液，一次性服下。服药后每天行走一丈的距离，石子应当能排出。服药前一晚禁食禁饮。
另一个方子：
取车前草的茎叶混合捣烂取汁，服用一升，每天三次。
又一方：
治疗石淋，以及脐下三十六种导致小便不通的病证：
灸关元穴三十壮（《千金方》也采用此法）。另一个方子：灸大敦穴三十壮（位于足大趾末端，距离爪甲如韭菜叶宽度处）。

取车前草，煮水，多喝其汁液。

以上两味药，研成细粉，混合后用米汤或蜂蜜调和，服用“刀圭”匕量（古代极小的计量单位），每天三次，见效即止。

取燕子粪便，研成粉末，用冷水送服五钱匕的量，清晨服用，到了吃饭的时候（辰时）应当能排出石子。

取旧的蒸笼盖烧成灰，取三指撮的量，服用后即可通畅。

石首鱼头中的石头一升，贝齿一升，混合捣碎，过细筛，用醋调和，分为三份，前一晚禁食，第二天早晨服用。
《千金方》治疗石淋的方子：
取浮石填满手掌，研成细粉，用水三升、醋一升，煮取二升，澄清后服用一升，分三次服用，石子即可排出。

The *Zhubing Yuanhou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Manifestations of All Diseases) states: Stone lin (Stone strangury) is characterized by the passage of stones during urination. The Kidney governs water metabolism; when water condenses, it transforms into stones, thus the Kidney may contain sand and stones. When Kidney deficiency occurs, it is prone to invasion by heat pathogens.
The *Duanju Fang* (Short Formulas) offers a divine prescription for treating stone lin:
Take two sheng of Cheqianzi (Plantaginis Semen, Plantago seed), place them in a silk bag, boil with eight sheng of water until reduced to three sheng, and consume it all at once. After taking the medicine, walk one zhang daily; the stones should be expelled. Observe fasting and fluid restriction overnight before administration.
Another prescription:
Fresh stems and leaves of Cheqiancao (Plantaginis Herba, Plantain herb) are crushed together to extract juice. Take one sheng, three times a day.
Yet another prescription:
For treating stone lin and thirty-six types of conditions below the umbilicus that cause inability to urinate:
Moxibustion on Guanyuan (CV-4) for thirty moxa cones (also adopted in *Qianjin Fang*). Another prescription: Moxibustion on Dadun (LR-1) for thirty moxa cones (located at the tip of the big toe, about the width of a leek leaf from the nail).
Yet another prescription:
The *Luyan Fang* (Verified Formulas) for stone lin:
Take Cheqiancao (Plantaginis Herba, Plantain herb), boil it, and drink the juice abundantly.
Yet another prescription:
Shiwei (Pyrrosiae Folium, Pyrrosia leaf) (3 fen), Huashi (Talcum, Talc) (3 fen).
Sift these two herbs into fine powder, mix with rice water or honey, administer a Dao Gui bi dose (a very small ancient measure), three times a day. Discontinue when effective.
The *Ge Shi Fang* (Formulas of Ge Hong) for stone lin:
Take Yan shi (Stercus Hirundinis, Swallow droppings), powder it, and take five Qian bi doses mixed with cold water. Take in the early morning; by mealtime (Chen hour, 7-9 AM), the stones should be urinated out.
Another prescription:
Take an old steamer lid, burn it to ash, take a pinch held by three fingers, and ingest it; patency will follow immediately.
Another prescription:
One sheng of stones from the head of Shishouyu (Opisthonema oglinum, Croaker fish head stone), one sheng of Bei chi (Concha Arcae, Ark shell), crush them together, sift finely, mix with vinegar, divide into three portions. Fast overnight, and take in the early morning.
The *Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) for stone lin:
Fill a handful with Fushi (Lapis Lapillus, Pumice), sift it, boil with three sheng of water and one sheng of vinegar until reduced to two sheng. Clarify the liquid and take one sheng. After three doses, the stones will be expelled.
The *Bencao Shiyi* (Supplement to Materia Medica) states: Some use diseases as medicines; Linshi (Lithospermum? Or specifically "stone from strangury") treats stone lin. Grind with water and ingest. It should fragment the stones, which are then expelled with urine. Patients suffering from stone lin or...
The *Xinlu Fang* (Newly Recorded Formulas) for treating stone lin:
Take fresh Gegen juice (Puerariae Radix Juice, Kudzu root juice), take five or six he.
Another prescription:
Three sheng of Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus, Scallion white), six sheng of water, boil until reduced to two sheng and five he. Divide into three doses.
The *Tao Jing Bencao Zhu* (Commentary on Materia Medica by Tao Hongjing): Boil Magen (Hemp root) and drink it.
The *Su Jing Bencao Zhu* (Commentary on Materia Medica by Su Jing): Crush Wuyu gen (Caladii Rhizoma, Caladium rhizome) to extract one sheng of juice and ingest it.
The *Cui Yu Shijing* (Food Classic by Cui Yu): Boil Kuizi (Abutilonis Semen, Abutilon seed) and drink the juice.
