治子肿，面目肢体虚肿如水状（胎中挟湿，水与血搏，湿气流溢，故令面目肢体浮肿，

白皮，无白术（此即五皮饮）。丹溪除姜皮、腹皮，加川芎、木通，补中导水行气（此证有
服鲤鱼汤、鲤鱼
此足太阳、太阴药也。水病当令上下分消，姜皮、橘皮辛而能散，使水从毛窍出；腹皮
、苓皮淡而能泄，使水从溺窍出；水盛由于土衰，故用白术之甘温以扶脾土，而提防之，不
致泛

此手太阴药也。子嗽由于火邪，当以清火润肺为务，桔梗、桑皮之凉以泻之，天冬、竹
茹之寒以清之，紫菀、炙草之温，杏仁、白蜜之泽以润之也。

治疗妊娠肿胀，面目及肢体浮肿像水一样（胎中挟带湿气，水湿与血相搏结，湿气流溢于肌肤，所以导致面目和肢体浮肿，这也是白术散的主治范围）。
白术（一钱）、生姜皮、陈皮、茯苓皮、大腹皮（各五分）。研为细末，用米汤送服。《指迷方》中有桑白皮，没有白术（这就是五皮饮）。丹溪去掉了生姜皮和大腹皮，加入了川芎和木通，以补益中气、引导水湿运行气机（这种病证有服用鲤鱼汤、鲤鱼粥有效的案例）。
这是足太阳膀胱经和足太阴脾经的药物。水肿病应当让水湿从上下分消，生姜皮、陈皮辛散，使水湿从汗孔排出；大腹皮、茯苓皮淡渗利湿，使水湿从小便排出；水湿盛是因为脾土虚弱，所以用白术的甘温来扶助脾土，从而堤防水湿泛滥。
治疗妊娠期间心惊胆怯，整天烦闷不安，称为子烦（受孕四五个月时，相火旺盛，或者盛夏时节君火盛行，都能引起此症）。
麦冬（一钱半）、茯苓、黄芩（一钱）、人参（五分）、淡竹叶（十片）。另一方案：以茯苓为君药，没有人参。
这是手太阴肺经和手少阴心经的药物。竹叶清除烦热，黄芩清热，麦冬凉润肺金（心火乘袭肺金，所以烦闷出于肺，茯苓宁心安神，人参补虚，妊娠心烦大多属于虚证。如果相火旺盛者，单用知母丸；君火旺盛者，单用黄连丸；心神不安者……）

紫菀、天冬（一钱）、桔梗（五分）、甘草（炙）、桑白皮、杏仁（三分）、竹茹（二分）。加入蜂蜜，煎服。
这是手太阴肺经的药物。妊娠咳嗽由于火邪引起，应当以清火润肺为主要任务，桔梗、桑白皮的凉性以泻火，天冬、竹茹的寒性以清热，紫菀、炙甘草的温性，杏仁、白蜜的滋润之性以润燥。

Treats edema of pregnancy, where the face, eyes, and limbs are puffy and swollen like water (The fetus carries dampness; water-dampness clashes with blood, and damp-qi overflows, causing swelling of the face, eyes, and limbs. This is also the indication for Baizhu San).
Baizhu (1 qian), Shengjiang Pi (Ginger Peel), Chenpi (Aged Tangerine Peel), Fuling Pi (Poria Peel), Dafupi (Areca Peel) (each 0.5 qian). Grind into fine powder, take with rice water. *Zhimi Fang* includes Sangbaipi (Morus Bark) but lacks Baizhu (this is Wupi Yin / Five-Peel Decoction). Danxi removed Shengjiang Pi and Dafupi, adding Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Rhizome) and Mutong (Akebia Stem), to tonify the middle and guide water-dampness while moving qi (For this condition, there are cases where eating Carp Soup or Carp Congee is effective).
These are herbs for the Foot-Taiyang (Bladder) and Foot-Taiyin (Spleen) meridians. In water diseases, one should allow the pathogenic factors to be eliminated from above and below. The acrid and dispersing nature of Shengjiang Pi and Chenpi allows water to exit through the hair follicles (sweat pores); the bland and draining nature of Dafupi and Fuling Pi allows water to exit through the urinary orifice; Water abundance stems from Spleen-earth deficiency, hence Ganwen (Sweet-Warm) Baizhu is used to support Spleen-earth, acting as a dike to prevent flooding.
Treats palpitations and timidity during pregnancy, with constant restlessness and oppression, termed Zifan (Sub-health: Pregnancy-related Restlessness). (At four or five months of gestation, Ministerial Fire is active; or in midsummer when Sovereign Fire prevails excessively, both can cause this syndrome.)
Maidong (Ophiopogon Tuber) (1.5 qian), Fuling (Poria), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root) (1 qian), Renshen (Ginseng Root) (0.5 qian), Danyezhu (Bamboo Leaf) (10 slices). Another prescription: Uses Fuling as the sovereign herb, without Renshen.
These are herbs for the Hand-Taiyin (Lung) and Hand-Shaoyin (Heart) meridians. Zhuye (Bamboo Leaf) clears heat and relieves restlessness; Huangqin clears heat; Maidong cools the Lung (Heart-Fire insulting Lung leads to restlessness originating in the Lung; Fuling calms the Heart; Renshen tonifies deficiency. Pregnancy-related restlessness is often due to deficiency. If Ministerial Fire is excessive, use Zhimu Wan alone; if Sovereign Fire is excessive, use Huanglian Wan alone; if the Heart-Mind is unsettled...)

Treats cough during pregnancy (Zisu).
Ziwan (Aster Root), Tiandong (Asparagus Tuber) (1 qian), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root) (0.5 qian), Gancao (Licorice Root, honey-fried), Sangbaipi (Morus Bark), Xingren (Apricot Seed) (0.3 qian), Zhuru (Bamboo Sap) (0.2 qian). Add honey, decoct and take.
This is a formula for the Hand-Taiyin (Lung) meridian. Zisu arises from Fire-Evil; the priority is to clear fire and moisten the lungs. The cool nature of Jiegeng and Sangbaipi drains the pathogen; the cold nature of Tiandong and Zhuru clears heat; the warm nature of Ziwan and Zhi Gancao, along with the moistening property of Xingren and Bai Mi (White Honey), provides lubrication.
