大青梅破开去核，将明矾入内，竹签钉住，武火 梅烬，勿用，止用白矾，轻
白如腻粉，用出涎清痰甚捷，此秘方也。
玄参（去芦） 贯众（去芦） 滑石（研） 砂仁 黄连（去须） 甘草（炙） 茯苓 山豆根 荆芥穗
（各半两） 寒水石（ ，一两） 硼砂（一钱） 为细末，每服一钱，干掺舌上，以清水咽下。
人参 石菖蒲 生地 川芎（各一两） 细辛 防风 辰砂（另研，各半两） 上为细末，
每服一钱，薄荷汤下。
栝蒌皮（锉） 白僵蚕（去头） 甘草（各等分，各炒黄） 上为细末，每服三钱，温酒或生姜自
然汁调下。用五分，绵裹噙化，咽津亦得，日两三服。
半夏（五钱） 草乌（二钱半，炒） 桂（二分半） 姜汁糊丸，芡实大，每夜含化一丸。
蛤蚧（一对，去嘴足，温水浸去膜，刮了血脉，醋炒） 诃子（煨，去核） 阿胶（炒） 生地 麦冬（去心）
细辛（去苗） 炙甘草（各五钱） 蜜丸，枣大，食远，含化。
杏仁 姜汁 砂糖 白蜜（各一两） 五味子 紫菀（各四钱） 通草 贝母（各四钱） 桑
皮（五钱） 水煎，时服。
诃子（四个，半生半炮） 桔梗（一两，半生半炙） 甘草（二寸，半生半炙） 为细末，每服二钱，童
便一盏，水一盏，煎五七沸，温服。甚者不过三服愈。
又方
大诃子（四个） 桔梗（三两） 甘草（二两，制法同上） 每服一钱匕，入沙糖一小块，水五盏，
煎至三盏，时时细呷，一日服尽，其效甚捷。
（此方用于吹喉。）
将大青梅破开，去掉果核，把明矾放入其中，用竹签钉住，用猛火煅烧至梅子成炭灰状即停止，不要使用梅子灰烬，只取白矾，使其变得轻白如腻粉，使用时能迅速排出涎液、清除痰浊，这是秘方。

每次服用一钱，用薄荷汤送下。
栝蒌皮（锉碎） 白僵蚕（去除头部） 甘草（各等分，分别炒至黄色） 以上药材研为细末，每次服用三钱，用温酒或生姜自然汁调服。取五分药粉，用棉布包裹含在口中化开，咽下津液也可以，每天服用两三次。
半夏（五钱） 草乌（二钱半，炒制） 桂枝（二分半） 用姜汁制成糊丸，大小如芡实，每晚含化一丸。
蛤蚧（一对，去除嘴和脚，温水浸泡去除膜，刮去血脉，醋炒） 诃子（煨制，去核） 阿胶（炒制） 生地 麦冬（去除心）
细辛（去除苗叶） 炙甘草（各五钱） 蜂蜜炼制成丸，大小如枣，饭后较远时含化。
杏仁 姜汁 砂糖 白蜜（各一两） 五味子 紫菀（各四钱） 通草 贝母（各四钱） 桑
皮（五钱） 用水煎煮，随时服用。
诃子（四个，一半生用一半炮制） 桔梗（一两，一半生用一半炙制） 甘草（二寸，一半生用一半炙制） 研为细末，每次服用二钱，用童子尿一盏，水一盏，煎煮五六沸，温服。病情严重的不过三服即可痊愈。
又一方
大诃子（四个） 桔梗（三两） 甘草（二两，炮制方法同上） 每次服用一钱匕，加入沙糖一小块，水五盏，
煎至三盏，不时细细呷饮，一天服完，效果非常迅速。
(For throat insufflation.)
Split a large green plum, remove the pit, insert alum into the cavity, and secure it with a bamboo skewer. Calcine over high heat until the plum turns to charcoal ash; do not use the plum ash, but only the white alum. Process it until it becomes light and white like talcum powder. It is highly effective in expelling saliva and clearing phlegm when used. This is a secret prescription.
Scrophulariae Radix (Xuan Shen) [remove rhizome], Cyathulae Radix (Guan Zhong) [remove rhizome], Talcum (Hua Shi), Amomi Fructus (Sha Ren), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huang Lian) [remove rootlets], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) [honey-fried], Poria (Fu Ling), Sophorae Tonkinensis Radix (Shan Dou Gen), Schizonepetae Spica (Jing Jie Sui)
(each half tael), Natron (Han Shui Shi) [one tael], Borax (Peng Sha) [one qian]. Grind into a fine powder. Take one qian per dose, sprinkle dry onto the tongue, and swallow with clear water.
Ginseng Radix (Ren Shen), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Shi Chang Pu), Rehmanniae Radix (Sheng Di), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuan Xiong) (each one tael), Asari Radix (Xi Xin), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fang Feng), Cinnabar (Chen Sha) [separately ground, each half tael]. Grind the above herbs into a fine powder. Take one qian per dose, administer with mint decoction.
Benincasae Exocarpium (Gua Lou Pi), Bombyx Batryticatus (Bai Jiang Can) [remove head], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) (equal parts, stir-fry until yellow). Grind into a fine powder. Take three qian per dose, mix with warm wine or fresh ginger juice for administration. Take five fen of the powder, wrap in cotton, hold in the mouth to dissolve, and swallow the saliva. This is acceptable. Administer two to three times daily.
Pinelliae Rhizoma (Ban Xia) [five qian], Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Cao Wu) [two and a half qian, stir-fried], Cinnamon Twig (Gui Zhi) [two and a half fen]. Make pills using ginger juice paste, size similar to Euryale Seed (Qian Shi). Contain and dissolve one pill every night.
Gecko (Ha Ge Jie) [one pair, remove beak and feet, soak in warm water to remove membrane, scrape off blood vessels, stir-fry with vinegar], Terminalia Chebula Retzii Fructus (He Zi) [baked, remove pit], Donkey-hide Gelatin (E Jiao) [stir-fried], Rehmanniae Radix (Sheng Di), Ophiopogonis Radix (Mai Dong) [remove heart], Asari Radix (Xi Xin) [remove roots], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) [honey-fried] (each five qian). Make honey pills, size similar to jujube. Contain and dissolve after meals.
Prunus Armeniaca Semen (Xing Ren), Ginger Juice, Saccharum (Sha Tang), Apis Mellifica (Bai Mi) (each one tael), Schisandrae Fructus (Wu Wei Zi), Asteris Herba (Zi Wan) (each four qian), Tetrapanacis Medulla (Tong Cao), Fritillariae Bulbus (Bei Mu) (each four qian), Mori Cortex (Sang Bai Pi) [five qian]. Decoct in water and take as needed.
Terminalia Chebula Retzii Fructus (He Zi) [four fruits, half raw half processed], Platycodonis Radix (Jie Geng) [one tael, half raw half honey-fried], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) [two cun, half raw half honey-fried]. Grind into a fine powder. Take two qian per dose. Decoct with one cup of urine from an uncircumcised boy and one cup of water for five to seven boils. Take warm. Severe cases may be cured within three doses.
Another prescription:
Large Terminalia Chebula Retzii Fructus (He Zi) [four fruits], Platycodonis Radix (Jie Geng) [three taels], Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gan Cao) [two taels, processed as above]. Take one qian bi per dose, add a small piece of rock sugar, five cups of water. Decoct until reduced to three cups. Sip slowly at intervals, finish within one day. The effect is very rapid.
