（白粱米）味甘，性微寒，无毒。主要功效是清除热邪，补益元气。
（玉英/某种豆类或植物）味咸，性微寒，无毒。主要功效是滋养肾气，去除胃和脾中的热邪，补益元气。陈旧的药材：味苦，主要治疗胃热、消渴症，通利小便。
（某药）味苦，性微温，无毒。主要治疗咳嗽气逆、霍乱，止泻，清除热邪，缓解烦渴。
（某药）味甘，性微寒。主要治疗寒热往来，通利大肠，治疗漆疮。
（某药）味咸酸，性温，无毒。主要降气，消除烦躁，调和胃气并止泻。
（某药）味苦甘辛，性大热，有毒。主要通行药势，杀灭各种邪恶毒气。
（小豆花）味辛平，无毒。主要治疗疟疾的寒热症状，邪气引起的腹泻痢疾，阴茎勃起功能障碍（阴不起），止消渴病，解酒头痛。产于汉中，即小豆花，七月采集，阴干保存。
（某药）味甘，性微温。主要调和脾胃，降气。其叶：主要治疗霍乱，呕吐腹泻不止。
（某药）味甘，性温，无毒。主要补益元气，补中气，但多食易生热，令人烦躁。
（某药）味酸，性温，无毒。主要消散痈肿，散除水气。杀灭邪毒。
（某药）味咸酸，性冷利。主要清除热邪，止烦躁胀满。能解百药之毒，以及热汤和火毒。
（某药）味咸，性温，无毒。主要驱杀鬼疰蛊毒、邪气注病、毒瓦斯，治疗下部疮疡，伤寒寒热，吐出胸中痰饮。止心腹突发疼痛，坚固肌肉骨骼。多食伤肺，容易引发咳嗽。

（谷玉/玉石类）味甘，性平，无毒。主要治疗妇人不孕，轻身，抗衰老延年益寿。又名谷玉。产于蓝田。
（另一种玉石类）味甘，性平，无毒。主要治疗妇人不孕，抗衰老延年益寿，产于蓝田玉石之间。
（石镜）味甘，主要治疗风邪，治疗皮肤瘙痒。又名石镜，质地明白可作镜子用。产于山窍，十二月采集。
(Bai Liang Mi, White Glutinous Rice) Sweet in flavor, slightly cold in nature, non-toxic. Primarily eliminates heat and tonifies Qi.
(Salt-flavored substance) Salty in flavor, slightly cold in nature, non-toxic. Primarily nourishes Kidney Qi, removes heat from the Stomach and Spleen, and tonifies Qi. Aged material: Bitter in flavor, primarily treats Stomach heat, Xiao Ke (wasting-thirst syndrome), and promotes urination.
(Bitter substance) Bitter in flavor, slightly warm in nature, non-toxic. Primarily treats cough with reverse flow of Qi, Huo Luan (cholera-like disorder), stops diarrhea, eliminates heat, and relieves irritability and thirst.
(Bitter substance) Bitter in flavor, non-toxic. Primarily treats Middle Jiao deficiency-cold, directs Qi downward, and eliminates heat.
(Sweet substance) Sweet in flavor, slightly cold in nature. Stops alternating chills and fever, benefits the Large Intestine, and treats Lacquer Dermatitis.
(Salty-sour substance) Salty and sour in flavor, warm in nature, non-toxic. Directs Qi downward, eliminates irritability, harmonizes the Stomach, and stops diarrhea.
(Bitter-sweet-pungent substance) Bitter, sweet, and pungent in flavor, extremely hot in nature, toxic. Promotes the action of medicinal materials and kills various evil toxins.
(Pungent-flat substance) Pungent and flat in flavor, non-toxic. Primarily treats Malaria with chills and fever, dysentery caused by pathogenic factors, impotence, stops Xiao Ke (wasting-thirst syndrome), and alleviates alcohol-induced headache. Grows in Hanzhong; it is the flower of Adzuki Bean (Vigna angularis), harvested in July and dried in shade.
(Sweet substance) Sweet in flavor, slightly warm in nature. Harmonizes the middle, directs Qi downward. Leaves: Primarily treat Huo Luan (cholera-like disorder) with persistent vomiting and diarrhea.

(Salty-sour substance) Salty and sour in flavor, cold and purgative in nature. Eliminates heat, stops irritability and fullness. Detoxifies various medicines, as well as burns from hot liquids and fire.
(Salty substance) Salty in flavor, warm in nature, non-toxic. Kills Gui Gu (ghostly parasites), Zhu disease (infectious diseases transmitted by contact), toxic vapors, sores in the lower body, chills and fever due to Shang Han (Cold Damage), and expectorates phlegm from the chest. Stops sudden pain in the heart and abdomen, strengthens muscles and bones. Excessive consumption damages the Lungs and predisposes to coughing.

(Shi Jing, Stone Mirror) Sweet in flavor. Primarily treats Wind pathogens and skin itching. Also known as Shi Jing, it is clear and bright enough to serve as a mirror. Grows in mountain crevices, harvested in December.
