Arisaema Cum Bile (Tian Nan Xing) (ground into powder, 1 qian) Croton Seed (Ba Dou) (24 kernels, remove heart and membrane, soak in water overnight, grind finely until oil is not exuded)
Take the above two ingredients: first grind the Croton Seed thoroughly, then add Arisaema Cum Bile, and bind with rice porridge to form pills the size of mung beans. Dosage varies according to the child's age. For diarrhea or dysentery, administer with rice drink; for food retention requiring vomiting, administer with scallion decoction—if food is retained in the upper jiao, it will be vomited; if in the middle jiao, it will be purged. For palpitations due to fright, administer with a decoction of Mint (Bohe) and Schizonepeta (Jingjie).
