早饭日西再服一丸可痊。产后暗风，及破
伤风、内外一切伤寒，人年四十以上，间二三日服一丸，永无风疾。
一方无白花蛇、零陵香、黄连、黄芩、熟地黄、虎骨、龟板、乌药、安息香、青皮、
白豆蔻、骨碎补、茯苓、白术、松脂，多藿香。
乌金膏解一切疮毒，及腐化瘀肉，最能推陈致新。用巴豆去壳炒焦，研如膏，点肿处则
解毒，涂瘀肉则自化。加乳香少许亦可。如 疮肉，能搜脓化毒。加香油少许，调稀可用，若
余毒深伏，不能收敛者宜此， 之不致成疮。
小柴胡汤 治瘰 、乳痛、便毒、下疳，及肝经分一切疮疡，发热潮热，或饮食少思。
半夏（制，一钱） 柴胡 黄芩（炒，二钱） 人参（一钱） 甘草（炙，五分）
上水二盏，姜三片、枣二枚，煎七分，食远服。
八珍汤调和荣卫，顺理阴阳，滋养血气，进饮食，补虚退热。此气血虚之大药也。
当归（酒洗） 川芎 芍药（炒） 熟地黄 人参 白术 茯苓（各一钱） 甘草（炙，五分）
上水二盏，姜三片、枣二枚，煎八分，食前服。
补中益气汤 治疮疡，元气不足，四肢倦怠，口干发热，饮食无味，或饮食失节，
或劳倦身热，脉洪大无力，头痛或恶寒自汗，或气高而喘，身热而烦。
黄 （蜜炙，一钱半） 甘草（炙） 人参 当归（酒洗） 白术（炒。各一钱） 升麻
柴胡 陈皮（各三分）
上水二盏，姜三片、枣二枚，煎一盏，空心服。
圣愈汤 治疮疡脓水出多，或金疮出血，心烦，睡卧不宁，或五心烦热。
熟地黄（酒拌，蒸半日） 生地黄（酒洗） 川芎 人参（各半两） 当归（酒洗）
黄（盐水炒。各一钱）
上水二盏煎八分，食后服。
人参养荣汤 治溃疡，发热或恶寒，或四肢倦怠，或肌肉消瘦，面色痿黄，呼吸短气，饮
食无味，或气血原不
足，不能收敛。若大疮愈后服之，不变他病。

五味子 茯苓（各一钱） 远志（去心炒，五分）
上水二盏，姜三片、枣二枚，煎八分，食前服。
归脾汤 治思虑伤脾，不能统摄心血，以致妄行，或吐血下血，或健忘怔忡，惊悸少寐，
或心脾作痛。
茯神 白术 人参 黄 （蜜炙） 龙眼肉 酸枣仁（炒。各一钱） 木香（各三分）
甘草（炙，二分半）
上水一盏，姜一片、枣一枚，煎七分，食远临卧服。
理中汤 治脾胃不健，饮食少思，或作呕，伤寒及肚腹作痛。
人参 白术 干姜（炮） 甘草（炙。各钱半）
上水一盏煎五分，食远服。
二神汤 治脾胃俱虚，清晨作泻，或饮食少思，或食而不化，或作呕，或久泻不止。如脾
经有湿，大便不实者，神效。
破故纸（四两，炒） 肉豆蔻（二两，生用）
上为末，用大红枣四十九枚、生姜四两切碎，同枣用水煮熟，去姜，取枣肉和药，丸梧
桐子大。每服五十丸，空心盐汤送下。
一人年四十，遍身发肿，腹胀如鼓，甚危，诸药不效。用此数服，饮食顿进，其肿自消，
兼以除湿健脾之剂而愈。
黄 六一汤 治溃后作渴，必发疮痕，宜常服此，可愈。
绵黄 （六两，一半生焙，一半盐水润，瓷器盛，饮上蒸三次，焙干） 甘草（一两，半生半炙）
上咀，每用一两，水二盏，煎八分，食远服。或为末，每服二钱，早晨、日午白汤调
服更妙。加人参尤效。
猪蹄汤消肿毒，去恶肉，润疮口，止痛。
白芷 黄芩 当归 羌活 赤芍药 露蜂房 生甘草（各半两）
用猪蹄一只，水四五碗煮熟，去油渣，取清汤入前药，煎数沸，去渣。温洗，以膏
药贴之。
远志酒 治一切痈疽发背，节毒恶候，侵有死血，阴毒在中则不痛，敷之则痛；有忧怒
等气积而内攻，则痛不可忍，敷之则不痛；或蕴热在内，热逼人，手不可近，敷之则清凉；
或气虚血冷，溃而不敛，敷之则敛。若七情内郁，治之必愈。
远志（不以多少，甘草汤浸，捶去心，干为末）
上以酒一盏，调末三钱，澄清饮之，以渣敷患处。
忍冬酒凡痈疽初发，盒饭服此。或贫乏之人，乡僻田夫患此，服此百发百中。
忍冬藤（五两，木杵捶碎，忌铁器）
上一味入砂罐内，用水二碗，文武火煎至一碗，入好酒一大碗，煎十数沸，去渣。分为
三服，一日夜连进尽。病势重者，一日夜可二剂。更生取忍冬叶一大把，入木石臼内烂捣，
入钵子，酒少许调和得所，敷疮上，留口以出毒。
国老膏 治一切痈疽肿毒如神，其功不可尽述。
甘草（大者，二斤）
捶碎，以河水浸一宿，令浆汁浓，出筋渣，再用绢滤过，银石器内慢火熬成膏，瓷罐收之。
每服一二匙，无灰酒浸过，或煎汤亦可。曾服燥热丹剂者亦解之。
复元活血汤 治坠跌或打扑，瘀血流于胁下作痛，或小腹作痛，或痞闷，及便毒初起肿痛。
柴胡（钱半） 天花粉 当归（酒洗。各一钱） 红花 甘草（各三分） 穿山甲（炙，一钱）
熟大黄（三钱） 桃仁（二十枚，去皮尖，酒炒）
上水二盏煎一盏，食前服。
桃仁承气汤 治伤损，瘀血停滞，腹痛发热，或发狂，或便毒痈肿疼痛，便秘发热，用
此通之。
桃仁（五十粒，去皮尖） 桂枝 芒硝 甘草（炙。各一钱） 大黄（二钱）
上水二盏煎一盏，空心服。
当归地黄汤 治破伤风，气血俱虚，发热头疼，服此养血气，祛风邪，不拘新旧并治之。
当归（酒洗） 地黄（酒洗） 芍药 川芎 本 防风 白芷（各一钱）
细辛（五分）
上水二盏，姜三片、枣一枚，煎八分，食远服。
清胃散 治胃经湿热，牙龈肿痛，或牵引头脑，或面发热。
当归身（酒洗，一钱） 黄连 生地黄（酒浸。各一钱） 牡丹皮（钱半） 升麻
上水一盏煎七分，食远服。
地骨皮散 治骨蒸潮热自汗，咳吐腥秽，痰唾稠粘。
人参 地骨皮 生地黄（各钱半） 白茯苓 柴胡 黄 （炙） 知母（炒） 石膏（煨。各一钱）
上水二盏，煎八分，食远服。
密钥匙 治喉痹、缠喉风，痰涎壅塞，甚者，水浆不下。
焰 （两半） 硼砂（半两） 冰片（二分半） 雄黄（五分） 白僵蚕（一钱）
上各别研为末，和匀，以竹管吹患处，痰涎即出。如痰出，喉仍不消，急宜针患处，
去恶血，自愈。
五香饼 治瘰 、流注、肿块，或风寒袭于经络，结肿或痛。用香附为末，酒和，量疮大
小作饼，覆患处，以熨斗熨之，未成者内消，已成者自溃。若风寒湿毒，宜用姜汁作饼。
内塞散 治阴虚，阳气凑袭患肿，或溃而不敛，或风寒袭于患处，致气血不能运用，
久而不愈，遂成漏证。
附子（一个，童便浸，三日一换，切作四块，再浸数日，炮一两） 肉桂 赤小豆 甘草（炙）
黄（炙） 当归（酒洗） 茯苓 白芷 桔梗 川芎 人参 远志（去心） 浓朴（姜汁炒。各一两）
防风（四钱）
上为末，每服二钱，空心温酒调下。或酒糊丸，盐汤下亦可。
当归散 治妇人阴中突出一物，长五六寸，名阴挺。
当归 黄芩（各二两） 牡蛎（两半） 皮（一两） 芍药（半两）
上为末，每服二钱，食前温酒或滚汤调下。如不应，更以补中益气汤，倍加升麻、
柴胡兼服之。
栝蒌仁汤 治产后恶露不尽，或经后瘀血作痛，或肠胃间停滞瘀血作痛，或作痈，并
可治之。
薏苡仁（四钱） 桃仁（去皮尖，研） 牡丹皮 栝蒌仁（各钱半）
上水二盏煎八分，食前服。
四君子汤 治脾胃虚弱，便血不止。（方见脾胃门。）
神异膏 治痈疽疡毒甚效，此疮中第一药也。
露蜂房（子多者，一两） 蛇蜕（盐水洗，焙，半两） 黄丹（十二两） 真麻油（二斤）
先用黄 、玄参、杏仁入油，煎至黑色，方入蜂房、蛇蜕、男发，再煎至黑色，滤去渣，
徐徐入黄丹，慢火煎，以柳枝不住手搅，滴水捻，软硬得中，则成膏矣。
冲和膏 治一切疮肿不甚热，积日不消。
紫荆皮（炒，半两） 赤芍药（炒，二两） 独活（去节炒，三两） 白芷（一两） 菖蒲（一两）
上为末，葱汤调搽。
神功散（即四生散）治 腿生疮，经久不愈，类风癣，名肾藏风疮，如上攻，则眼目
昏花。并治一切风癣疥癞。
生白附子 黄 （炙） 独活 蒺藜
等分为末，每服二钱，用猪腰子一个，批作片，勿断，入末药，湿纸裹煨熟。空心连腰细
嚼，盐汤下。风癣酒下。
通圣散 治时毒 肿，咽喉不利。取嚏，以泄其毒。
玄明粉（一钱半） 牙皂角 川芎（各一钱） 藜芦（五分） 踯躅花（二分半）
上为细末，用纸捻蘸少许， 鼻内，取嚏为效。
人参荆芥汤 治妇人血风发热，或疮毒瘙痒，肢体疼痛，头目眩昏，烦渴盗汗，或月
水不调，脐腹疼痛， 癖积块。
人参 桂心 柴胡 鳖甲（醋炙） 荆芥 枳壳 生地黄（酒洗） 酸枣仁（炒）
羚羊角（镑） 白术（各一钱） 川芎 当归（酒洗） 防风 炙甘草（各五分）
上水二盏，姜三片，煎八分，入羚羊末，食后服。
消风散 治风热瘾疹瘙痒，及妇人血风，或头皮肿痒，或诸风上攻，头目昏眩，项背拘急，
鼻流清水，嚏喷声重，耳作蝉鸣。
陈皮（半两） 甘草（炙） 人参 茯苓 荆芥穗 防风 川芎 白僵蚕（炒） 蝉蜕（各二两）
浓朴（半两，姜汁炒） 藿香 羌活（一两）
上为末，每服三钱，茶清调下。疮癣温酒下。
五积散 治风寒湿毒客于经铬，致筋挛骨痛，或腰脚酸疼，或身体拘重痛。
苍术（二钱半） 桔梗（钱半） 陈皮（去白，六分） 白芷（三分） 甘草 当归（酒浸）
川芎 白芍药（炒） 半夏（制） 茯苓（各三分） 麻黄（六分） 干姜（炮，四分） 枳壳（六分） 桂心（五分）
浓朴（姜炒，四分）
四生丸 治血风，骨节疼痛，不能举动，或行步不前，浑身瘙痒，或麻痹不知痛痒。
地龙 僵蚕（炒去丝） 白附子（生） 五灵脂 草乌（去皮尖。各等分）
上为末，米糊丸，梧桐子大。每服二三十丸，茶酒任下。或为细末，酒调服。
大防风汤 治三阴之气不足，风邪乘之，两膝作痛，久则膝大腿细，名曰鹤膝风，乃
败证也，非此不治。又治痢后脚痛缓弱，不能行步，或腿肿痛。
附子（炮，一钱） 白术（炒） 羌活 人参（各一钱） 川芎（钱半） 防风（二钱）
甘草（炙，一钱） 牛膝（酒浸，一钱） 当归（酒洗，二钱） 黄 （炙，二钱） 芍药（一钱）
杜仲（姜制，二钱） 生地黄（忌铁器，酒浸蒸半日。各一钱）
上作一服。水二盏，姜三片，煎八分，空心服。愈后尤宜调摄，更服还少丹，或加桂，
以行地黄之滞。
若脾胃虚寒之人，宜服八味丸。
芦荟丸 治下疳，溃烂作痛，及小儿疳积发热，口鼻生疮，或牙龈肿痛。
胡黄连 黄连 芦荟 木香 白芜荑（炒） 白雷丸 青皮 鹤虱草（各一两）
麝香（三钱）
上为末，蒸饼丸麻子大。每服空心米汤下。
黄连丸 治大肠有热下血
黄连 吴茱萸（各等分）
上热汤拌湿，罨二日，同炒，拣出，各另研为末，亦各米糊丸，梧桐子大，每服三钱。粪
前红，服茱萸丸；粪后红，服黄连丸，俱酒下。
塌肿汤 治妇人阴户生疮，或肿或痛，或脓水淋漓。
甘草 干漆（各三两） 黄芩 当归 生地黄 川芎（各二两） 龟板（五两）
用水数碗煎良久，去渣，塌洗患处。
菖蒲散 治妇人阴户肿痛，月水涩滞。
菖蒲 当归（各二钱） 秦艽（七钱半） 吴茱萸（半两）
上为末，每服三钱，空心葱汤送下。更以枳实炒热，频熨患处。若阴内脓水淋漓，
或痒痛，以升麻、白芷、黄连、木通、当归、川芎、白术、茯苓煎服，更用塌肿汤洗。
清心莲子饮 治心经蕴热，小便赤涩，或茎痛窍痛，及上下虚，心火上炎，口苦咽干，
烦躁作渴，发热，小便白浊，夜安静，昼发热。
黄芩（炒） 黄 人参 赤茯苓 麦门冬（去心） 石莲子（去心。各一钱） 地骨皮
车前子（微炒。各五分） 甘草（炙三分）
上水二盏煎八分，空心食前服。
滋肾丸 治下焦阴虚，小便涩滞，或膝无力，阴汗阴痿，或足热不履地，不渴而小便秘。
黄柏（酒炒） 知母（酒炒。各一两） 肉桂（二钱）
上为末，滴水为丸，梧桐子大。每服百丸，空心百沸汤送下。
木香饼 治一切气滞结肿，或痛或闷，及风寒所伤作痛并效。
木香（一钱，为末） 生地黄（一两，杵膏）
上和匀，量患处大小作饼，置肿上，以热熨斗熨之。
乳香定痛散 治疮痛不可忍。
乳香 没药（各二钱） 寒水石（ ） 滑石（各四钱） 冰片（一分）
上为细末，搽敷患处，痛即止，甚妙。此方乳、没性温，佐以寒剂制之，故寒热之痛皆有
效也。
早饭时服用，日西（傍晚）再服一丸即可痊愈。产后暗风，以及破伤风、内外一切伤寒，人年四十以上，每隔二三日服一丸，可永远不患风疾。

大防风汤 治三阴之气不足，风邪乘之，两膝作痛，久则膝大腿细，名曰鹤膝风，乃 败证也，非此不治。又治痢后脚痛缓弱，不能行步，或腿肿痛。

上为末，蒸饼丸麻子大。每服空心米汤下。
黄连丸 治大肠有热下血

上热汤拌湿，罨二日，同炒，拣出，各另研为末，亦各米糊丸，梧桐子大，每服三钱。粪 前红，服茱萸丸；粪后红，服黄连丸，俱酒下。
塌肿汤 治妇人阴户生疮，或肿或痛，或脓水淋漓。

用水数碗煎良久，去渣，塌洗患处。
菖蒲散 治妇人阴户肿痛，月水涩滞。

上为末，每服三钱，空心葱汤送下。更以枳实炒热，频熨患处。若阴内脓水淋漓， 或痒痛，以升麻、白芷、黄连、木通、当归、川芎、白术、茯苓煎服，更用塌肿汤洗。
清心莲子饮 治心经蕴热，小便赤涩，或茎痛窍痛，及上下虚，心火上炎，口苦咽干， 烦躁作渴，发热，小便白浊，夜安静，昼发热。

滋肾丸 治下焦阴虚，小便涩滞，或膝无力，阴汗阴痿，或足热不履地，不渴而小便秘。
黄柏（酒炒） 知母（酒炒。各一两） 肉桂（二钱）
上为末，滴水为丸，梧桐子大。每服百丸，空心百沸汤送下。
木香饼 治一切气滞结肿，或痛或闷，及风寒所伤作痛并效。
木香（一钱，为末） 生地黄（一两，杵膏）
上和匀，量患处大小作饼，置肿上，以热熨斗熨之。
乳香定痛散 治疮痛不可忍。
乳香 没药（各二钱） 寒水石（ ） 滑石（各四钱） 冰片（一分）
上为细末，搽敷患处，痛即止，甚妙。此方乳、没性温，佐以寒剂制之，故寒热之痛皆有 效也。
Take one pill at breakfast, and another at dusk (evening) to recover. For postpartum dark wind, as well as tetanus and all internal and external cold damage diseases, for people over forty years old, take one pill every two or three days to permanently prevent wind diseases.
One prescription excludes: White Flower Snake, Lingling Fragrance, Coptis Rhizome, Scutellaria Root, Prepared Rehmannia Root, Tiger Bone, Turtle Shell, Ligusticum Rhizome, Benzoin Resin, Green Tangerine Peel, White Cardamom Seed, Drynaria Rhizome, Poria, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Pine Resin; adds more Agastache Leaf.
Wujin Ointment resolves all sores and toxins, dissolves necrotic and stasis flesh, and is best at promoting the elimination of the old and the generation of the new. Use Croton Seed, remove shell, stir-fry until scorched, grind into a paste. Apply to swollen areas to resolve toxicity; apply to necrotic flesh to dissolve it naturally. Adding a small amount of Frankincense is also effective. If [there is] sore flesh, it can search out pus and resolve toxins. Add a little sesame oil, dilute with water for use. If residual toxins are deeply embedded and cannot converge, this is suitable; [it prevents them from forming ulcers].
Xiao Chai Hu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) treats scrofula, breast abscesses, inguinal hernias, chancres, and all sores and ulcers in the Liver Meridian, accompanied by fever and tidal fever, or poor appetite.
Prepared Pinellia Tuber (1 qian), Bupleurum Root, Scutellaria Root (stir-fried, 2 qian), Ginseng Root (1 qian), Licorice Root (roasted, 0.5 qian).
Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, two dates. Decoct to seven-tenths. Take far from meals.
Ba Zhen Tang (Eight Treasure Decoction) harmonizes Ying and Wei, regulates Yin and Yang, nourishes Blood and Qi, promotes food intake, tonifies deficiency, and reduces fever. This is a major medicine for Qi and Blood deficiency.
Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Peony Root (stir-fried), Prepared Rehmannia Root, Ginseng Root, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Poria (each 1 qian), Licorice Root (roasted, 0.5 qian).
Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, two dates. Decoct to eight-tenths. Take before meals.
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang (Tonify the Middle and Augment the Qi Decoction) treats sores and ulcers due to insufficiency of Yuan Qi, fatigue of the four limbs, dry mouth and fever, tasteless food, irregular diet, or body heat from overwork, pulse large and forceless, headache or aversion to cold with spontaneous sweating, or high breathing and panting, body heat with irritability.
Astragalus Membranaceus Root (honey-roasted, 1.5 qian), Licorice Root (roasted), Ginseng Root, Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (stir-fried, each 1 qian), Cimicifuga Rhizome, Bupleurum Root, Tangerine Peel (each 0.3 qian).
Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, two dates. Decoct to one cup. Take on an empty stomach.
Sheng Yu Tang (Sage Renewal Decoction) treats excessive discharge of pus and water from sores and ulcers, bleeding from metal wounds, vexation, restless sleep, or five-palm heat.
Prepared Rehmannia Root (mixed with wine, steamed for half a day), Raw Rehmannia Root (washed with wine), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Ginseng Root (each 0.5 liang), Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Astragalus Membranaceus Root (stir-fried with salt water, each 1 qian).
Add two cups of water, decoct to eight-tenths. Take after meals.
Renshen Yang Rong Tang (Ginseng Nourishing Grace Decoction) treats ulcers with fever or aversion to cold, fatigue of the four limbs, muscle emaciation, sallow complexion, shortness of breath, tasteless food, or original insufficiency of Qi and Blood unable to converge. If taken after a large ulcer heals, it prevents other diseases.
Peony Root (1.5 qian), Ginseng Root, Tangerine Peel, Astragalus Membranaceus Root (honey-roasted), Cinnamon Heart, Angelica Sinensis Root, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Licorice Root (roasted), Prepared Rehmannia Root, Schisandra Berry, Poria (each 1 qian), Polygala Root (heart removed, stir-fried, 0.5 qian).
Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, two dates. Decoct to eight-tenths. Take before meals.
Gui Pi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction) treats spleen injury from overthinking, inability to control Heart Blood leading to reckless flow, hematemesis or hematochezia, forgetfulness, palpitations, fright, insomnia, or pain in the heart and spleen.
Poria with Hostwood, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Ginseng Root, Astragalus Membranaceus Root (honey-roasted), Longan Aril, Sour Jujube Seed (stir-fried, each 1 qian), Aucklandia Root (each 0.3 qian), Licorice Root (roasted, 0.25 qian).
Add one cup of water, one slice of ginger, one date. Decoct to seven-tenths. Take far from meals and before sleep.
Li Zhong Tang (Regulate the Middle Decoction) treats spleen and stomach weakness, poor appetite, vomiting, cold damage, and abdominal pain.
Ginseng Root, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Dried Ginger (processed), Licorice Root (roasted, each 1.5 qian).
Add one cup of water, decoct to five-tenths. Take far from meals.
Er Shen Tang (Two Spirit Decoction) treats dual deficiency of spleen and stomach, morning diarrhea, poor appetite, undigested food, vomiting, or chronic diarrhea. If there is dampness in the Spleen Meridian with loose stools, it is miraculous.
Cistanche Stem (4 liang, stir-fried), Nutmeg (2 liang, raw).
Grind into powder. Use 49 large red dates and 4 liang of chopped ginger. Boil with water until cooked, remove ginger, take date pulp to mix with medicine, form pills the size of tung tree seeds. Take 50 pills each time, with salt water on an empty stomach.
A person aged forty had swelling all over the body, abdomen distended like a drum, very critical, all medicines ineffective. After taking this several times, food intake suddenly improved, swelling disappeared naturally. Combined with dampness-draining and spleen-strengthening agents, he recovered.
Huang Qi Liu Yi Tang (Astragalus Six-to-One Decoction) treats thirst after ulceration, which must develop scar tissue. It is advisable to take this regularly to cure.
Milky Milk Vetch Root (6 liang, half raw roasted, half moistened with salt water, stored in porcelain, steamed three times over drinking water, then roasted dry), Licorice Root (1 liang, half raw, half roasted).
Chop. Use 1 liang each time, add two cups of water, decoct to eight-tenths. Take far from meals. Or grind into powder, take 2 qian each time, mixed with white water in the morning and noon is better. Adding Ginseng Root is even more effective.
Zhu Ti Tang (Pig Trotter Decoction) reduces swelling and toxins, removes foul flesh, moistens sore openings, and relieves pain.
Angelica Dahurica Root, Scutellaria Root, Angelica Sinensis Root, Notopterygium Rhizome, Red Peony Root, Honeycomb, Raw Licorice Root (each 0.5 liang).
Use one pig trotter, boil in 4-5 bowls of water, remove oil and dregs, take clear soup, add previous medicines, boil a few times, remove dregs. Wash warm, apply plaster.
Yuanzhi Wine (Polygala Wine) treats all carbuncles, furuncles, back sores, joint toxins, bad conditions, invasion of dead blood. If Yin toxin is inside, it does not hurt; applying makes it hurt. If sorrow and anger accumulate and attack internally, pain is unbearable; applying makes it not hurt. If heat accumulates inside, heat forces outward, hand cannot approach; applying makes it cool. If Qi deficiency and cold blood, ulcerated but not converging; applying makes it converge. If Seven Emotions are internally depressed, treating it will surely cure.
Polygala Root (any amount, soak in Licorice decoction, pound to remove heart, dry and grind into powder).
Add one cup of wine, mix with 3 qian of powder, let settle, drink the clear liquid, apply dregs to affected area.
Jinyinhua Wine (Honeysuckle Vine Wine) Whenever carbuncles and furuncles first appear, should take this. Or for poor people, rural farmers suffering from this, taking this is hundred percent effective.
Honeysuckle Vine (5 liang, crush with wooden pestle, avoid iron tools).
Put this single ingredient into a clay pot, add two bowls of water, simmer with mild fire to one bowl, add one large bowl of good wine, boil ten-plus times, remove dregs. Divide into three doses, take continuously throughout day and night. For severe cases, two doses per day and night. Alternatively, take a large handful of Honeysuckle Leaves, pound thoroughly in wooden or stone mortar, put in bowl, mix with a little wine appropriately, apply to sore, leave opening to drain toxin.
Guolao Gao (Old Man's Paste) Treats all carbuncles, furuncles, swelling and toxins as if divine, its merits cannot be fully described.
Licorice Root (large ones, 2 jin).
Pound, soak in river water overnight until juice is thick, remove fibers and dregs, filter through silk, slow-fire boil in silver or earthenware vessel into paste, store in porcelain jar. Take 1-2 spoons each time, soaked in non-ashy wine, or decocted as soup also works. Even those who have taken hot-drying cinnabar agents can be resolved by it.
Fuyuan Huoxue Tang (Restoring Origin Invigorating Blood Decoction) treats falls or blows, blood stasis flowing to hypochondrium causing pain, or lower abdomen pain, or fullness and oppression, and initial swelling and pain of inguinal hernias.
Bupleurum Root (1.5 qian), Trichosanthes Root, Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine, each 1 qian), Safflower, Licorice Root (each 0.3 qian), Pangolin Scale (roasted, 1 qian), Prepared Rhubarb (3 qian), Peach Kernel (20 pieces, remove skin and tip, stir-fry with wine).
Add two cups of water, decoct to one cup. Take before meals.
Taoren Chengqi Tang (Peach Kernel Decoction to Order the Qi) treats injuries, blood stasis stagnation, abdominal pain with fever, or mania, or inguinal hernia abscess pain, constipation with fever, use this to unblock.
Peach Kernel (50 grains, remove skin and tip), Cinnamon Twig, Mirabilite, Licorice Root (roasted, each 1 qian), Rhubarb (2 qian).
Add two cups of water, decoct to one cup. Take on an empty stomach.
Danggui Dihuang Tang (Angelica and Rehmannia Decoction) treats tetanus, dual deficiency of Qi and Blood, fever and headache, take this to nourish Qi and Blood, dispel Wind pathogen, treats both new and old without distinction.
Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Rehmannia Root (washed with wine), Peony Root, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Ligusticum Wallichii Rhizome, Saposhnikovia Root, Angelica Dahurica Root (each 1 qian), Asarum (0.5 qian).

Qingwei San (Clear Stomach Powder) treats Damp-Heat in Stomach Meridian, swollen and painful gums, or radiating to head, or facial heat.
Angelica Sinensis Root Body (washed with wine, 1 qian), Coptis Rhizome, Raw Rehmannia Root (soaked in wine, each 1 qian), Moutan Cortex (1.5 qian), Cimicifuga Rhizome.
Add one cup of water, decoct to seven-tenths. Take far from meals.
Digupi San (Phellodendron Bark Powder) treats bone-steaming tidal fever with spontaneous sweating, coughing up fishy/foul sputum, thick and sticky saliva.
Ginseng Root, Phellodendron Bark, Raw Rehmannia Root (each 1.5 qian), White Poria, Bupleurum Root, Astragalus Membranaceus Root (roasted), Anemarrhena Rhizome (stir-fried), Gypsum (roasted, each 1 qian).
Add two cups of water, decoct to eight-tenths. Take far from meals.
Mi Yaochi (Secret Key Lock) treats throat obstruction, winding throat wind, phlegm-saliva obstruction, severely unable to swallow water or grain.
Realgar (1.5 liang), Borax (0.5 liang), Borneol (0.25 fen), Realgar (0.5 fen), White Silkworm (1 qian).
Grind each separately into powder, mix evenly, blow into affected area with bamboo tube, phlegm-saliva comes out immediately. If phlegm comes out but throat still not relieved, urgently needle affected area, remove foul blood, self-heals.
Wuxiang Bing (Five Fragrances Cake) treats scrofula, flowing deposits, lumps, or Wind-Cold invading meridians, knotting into swelling or pain. Use Cyperus Rhizome ground into powder, mixed with wine, make cake according to sore size, cover affected area, iron with hot iron. Unformed dissipates internally, formed ruptures spontaneously. If Wind-Cold-Damp-Toxin, use ginger juice to make cake.
Neisai San (Internal Blocking Powder) treats Yin deficiency, Yang Qi gathering to cause swelling, or ulcerated but not converging, or Wind-Cold invading affected area, causing Qi and Blood unable to circulate, long-term not healing, becoming fistula.
Aconite Lateral Root (one piece, soak in child urine, change every three days, cut into four pieces, soak again for several days, process 1 liang), Cinnamon Bark, Adzuki Bean, Licorice Root (roasted), Astragalus Membranaceus Root (roasted), Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Poria, Angelica Dahurica Root, Platycodon Root, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Ginseng Root, Polygala Root (heart removed), Magnolia Bark (stir-fried with ginger juice, each 1 liang), Saposhnikovia Root (4 qian).
Grind into powder, take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine on empty stomach. Or make pills with wine paste, take with salt water also works.
Danggui San (Angelica Powder) treats woman having something protruding from vagina, 5-6 cun long, named Yin Ting (vaginal prolapse).
Angelica Sinensis Root, Scutellaria Root (each 2 liang), Oyster Shell (1.5 liang), [Missing Character] Skin (1 liang), Peony Root (0.5 liang).
Grind into powder, take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine or boiling water before meals. If no response, additionally take Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang, double Cimicifuga Rhizome and Bupleurum Root, take together.
Gualou Ren Tang (Trichosanthes Seed Decoction) treats postpartum lochia not stopping, or post-menstrual blood stasis pain, or blood stasis stagnation in intestines/stomach causing pain, or forming abscess, all can be treated.
Coix Seed (4 qian), Peach Kernel (remove skin and tip, grind), Moutan Cortex, Trichosanthes Seed (each 1.5 qian).
Add two cups of water, decoct to eight-tenths. Take before meals.
Si Jun Zi Tang (Four Gentlemen Decoction) treats spleen and stomach weakness, continuous bloody stool. (Formula seen in Spleen/Stomach section.)
Shenyi Gao (Divine Strange Ointment) treats carbuncles, furuncles, sores and toxins very effectively, this is the number one medicine for sores.
Honeycomb (many seeds, 1 liang), Snake Slough (wash with salt water, roast, 0.5 liang), Lead Monoxide (12 liang), True Sesame Oil (2 jin).
First add Astragalus Membranaceus Root, Scrophularia Root, Apricot Seed into oil, fry until black, then add honeycomb, snake slough, male hair, fry again until black, filter dregs, slowly add Lead Monoxide, slow-fire fry, stir constantly with willow branch, test drop in water, when softness/hardness is appropriate, ointment is formed.
Chonghe Gao (Harmony Ointment) treats all sores/swelling not very hot, accumulating days not resolving.
Bauhinia Bark (roasted, 0.5 liang), Red Peony Root (roasted, 2 liang), Notopterygium Rhizome (remove joints, roasted, 3 liang), Angelica Dahurica Root (1 liang), Acorus Rhizome (1 liang).
Grind into powder, mix with scallion soup and apply.
Shengong San (Divine Merit Powder, i.e., Sibai San) treats leg sores, long-term not healing, resembling tinea, named Kidney Organ Wind Sore, if attacking upwards, causes blurry eyesight. Also treats all wind tinea, scabies, leprosy.
Raw Bai Fu Zi, Astragalus Membranaceus Root (roasted), Notopterygium Rhizome, Tribulus Fruit.
Grind equally into powder, take 2 qian each time, use one pig kidney, slice without cutting through, insert powder, wrap in wet paper, roast until cooked. Chew finely with kidney on empty stomach, take with salt water. For wind tinea, take with wine.
Tongsheng San (Supreme Reaching Powder) treats seasonal toxins causing swelling, throat discomfort. Induce sneezing to vent toxin.
Mirabilite (1.5 qian), Tooth Soap Pod, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (each 1 qian), Veratrum Rhizome (0.5 fen), Daphne Flower (0.25 fen).
Grind into fine powder, dip paper twist in small amount, blow into nose, inducing sneezing is effective.
Renshen Jingjie Tang (Ginseng and Schizonepeta Decoction) treats women's Blood Wind fever, or sore toxin itching, limb pain, dizzy head/eyes, vexation/thirst/sweating, or irregular menstruation, umbilical/abdominal pain, masses/lumps.
Ginseng Root, Cinnamon Heart, Bupleurum Root, Softshell Turtle Shell (vinegar-roasted), Schizonepeta Spike, Aurantium Fruit, Raw Rehmannia Root (washed with wine), Sour Jujube Seed (stir-fried), Antelope Horn (shaved), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (each 1 qian), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine), Saposhnikovia Root, Roasted Licorice Root (each 0.5 fen).
Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, decoct to eight-tenths, add Antelope Horn powder, take after meals.
Xiaofeng San (Dispersing Wind Powder) treats Wind-Heat urticaria itching, and women's Blood Wind, or scalp swelling/itching, or various Winds attacking upwards, dizzy head/eyes, stiff neck/back, runny clear nose, heavy sneezing, cicada-like ringing in ears.
Tangerine Peel (0.5 liang), Licorice Root (roasted), Ginseng Root, Poria, Schizonepeta Spike, Saposhnikovia Root, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, White Silkworm (stir-fried), Cicada Slough (each 2 liang), Magnolia Bark (0.5 liang, stir-fried with ginger juice), Agastache Leaf, Notopterygium Rhizome (1 liang).
Grind into powder, take 3 qian each time, mixed with tea liquor. For sores/tinea, take with warm wine.
Wuji San (Five Accumulations Powder) treats Wind-Cold-Damp-Toxin lodging in meridians, causing tendon spasms/bone pain, or waist/foot soreness, or body heaviness/pain.

Sisheng Wan (Four Generations Pill) treats Blood Wind, bone/joint pain, unable to move, or walking forward, whole body itching, or numbness unaware of pain/itch.

Da Fangfeng Tang (Great Saposhnikovia Decoction) treats insufficiency of Three Yin Qi, Wind pathogen takes advantage, knee pain, long-term knee large thigh thin, named Crane Knee Wind, a failing syndrome, not treated by this will not heal. Also treats foot pain/weakness after dysentery, unable to walk, or leg swelling/pain.
Processed Aconite Lateral Root (1 qian), Stir-fried Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Notopterygium Rhizome, Ginseng Root (each 1 qian), Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (1.5 qian), Saposhnikovia Root (2 qian), Roasted Licorice Root (1 qian), Achyranthes Root (soaked in wine, 1 qian), Angelica Sinensis Root (washed with wine, 2 qian), Roasted Astragalus Membranaceus Root (2 qian), Peony Root (1 qian), Eucommia Bark (ginger processed, 2 qian), Raw Rehmannia Root (avoid iron, soak in wine steam half day, each 1 qian).
Make one dose. Add two cups of water, three slices of ginger, decoct to eight-tenths. Take on empty stomach. After recovery, especially suitable for regulation, additionally take Huan Shao Dan, or add Cinnamon, to move Rehmannia stagnation.
If spleen/stomach deficiency-cold, should take Ba Wei Wan.
Luhui Wan (Aloe Pill) treats chancres, ulcerated painful, and children's malnutrition fever, mouth/nose sores, or gum swelling/pain.

Grind into powder, steamed bread pills, hemp seed size. Take on empty stomach with rice water.
Huanglian Wan (Coptis Pill) treats Large Intestine Heat with bloody stool.
Coptis Rhizome, Evodia Fruit (equal parts).
Mix with hot water to moisten, cover for two days, stir-fry together, pick out, grind each separately into powder, also rice paste pills, tung tree seed size, take 3 qian each time. Red before stool, take Evodia Pill; red after stool, take Coptis Pill, both with wine.
Tazhong Tang (Collapse Swelling Decoction) treats woman's vulva sores, or swelling or pain, or purulent discharge dripping.
Licorice Root, Dried Lacquer (each 3 liang), Scutellaria Root, Angelica Sinensis Root, Raw Rehmannia Root, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome (each 2 liang), Turtle Shell (5 liang).
Use several bowls of water, decoct for a long time, remove dregs, wash affected area.
Changpu San (Acorus Powder) treats woman's vulva swelling/pain, menstrual flow sluggish.
Acorus Rhizome, Angelica Sinensis Root (each 2 qian), Gentiana Macrophylla Root (7.5 qian), Evodia Fruit (0.5 liang).
Grind into powder, take 3 qian each time, send down with scallion soup on empty stomach. Additionally stir-fry Immature Bitter Orange until hot, frequently iron affected area. If vaginal purulent dripping, or itching/pain, decoct Cimicifuga Rhizome, Angelica Dahurica Root, Coptis Rhizome, Akebia Stem, Angelica Sinensis Root, Szechwan Lovage Rhizome, Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome, Poria to take, additionally use Tazhong Tang to wash.
Qingxin Lianzi Yin (Clear Heart Lotus Seed Drink) treats Heart Meridian accumulated heat, red/scanty urination, or urethral pain/orifice pain, and upper/lower deficiency, Heart Fire flaring up, bitter mouth/dry throat, vexation/thirst, fever, white turbid urine, quiet at night, fever during day.
Scutellaria Root (stir-fried), Astragalus Membranaceus Root, Ginseng Root, Red Poria, Ophiopogon Tuber (remove heart), Stone Lotus Seed (remove heart, each 1 qian), Phellodendron Bark, Plantago Seed (lightly stir-fried, each 0.5 fen), Roasted Licorice Root (0.3 fen).
Add two cups of water, decoct to eight-tenths. Take on empty stomach before meals.
Zishen Wan (Nourish Kidney Pill) treats Lower Jiao Yin deficiency, scanty/stagnant urination, or weak knees, sweaty/impotent genitals, or feet hot unable to touch ground, not thirsty but small intestine difficult urination.
Phellodendron Bark (wine stir-fried), Anemarrhena Rhizome (wine stir-fried, each 1 liang), Cinnamon Bark (2 qian).
Grind into powder, drop water to make pills, tung tree seed size. Take 100 pills each time, send down with boiling water on empty stomach.
Muxiang Bing (Aucklandia Cake) treats all Qi stagnation knotting swelling, or pain or oppression, and Wind-Cold injury causing pain, all effective.
Aucklandia Root (1 qian, powder), Raw Rehmannia Root (1 liang, paste).
Mix evenly, make cake according to affected area size, place on swelling, iron with hot iron.
Ruxiang Ding Tong San (Frankincense Calming Pain Powder) treats unbearable sore pain.
Frankincense, Myrrh (each 2 qian), Halloysitum Rubrum ( ), Talcum (each 4 qian), Borneol (1 fen).
Grind into fine powder, apply to affected area, pain stops immediately, very wonderful. This formula Frankincense/Myrrh nature warm, assisted by cold agents to restrain, thus effective for both cold and hot pain.
