论曰∶藏真高于肺而主气，藏真通于心而主血，藏真散于肝而藏血。是三者，或因愁忧
思虑，与夫恚怒气逆，伤之则气乱而血妄行，下入于胃，胃受之则满胀，其气贲冲于上，故
吐血不止也。

论述说：五脏的真气中，肺位最高而主管气；心通于血脉而主管血；肝散布真气而贮藏血。这三者，如果因为忧愁思虑，或者愤怒导致气机逆乱，损伤了它们，就会使气机紊乱、血液妄行，血液下流入胃，胃受到邪气则出现胀满，气机上冲，所以导致吐血不止。
治疗吐血极重且不止的方剂：大圣散。
金星石、银星石、禹余粮、寒水石（以上均捣碎）、不灰木、半夏（用汤水洗七遍去滑腻，用生姜汁炮制，焙干）、大黄（锉碎）、蛤粉。
以上八味药，等量混合，捣碎过筛成散剂。每次服用一钱匕，用新汲取的冷水调服，加入少许龙脑更佳。兼能解除五毒。
治疗吐血不止的方剂：阿胶散。
阿胶（炒至干燥半两）、生干地黄（焙干一两）、人参（一分）、黄柏（去除粗皮，用蜜炙）、蝉壳（去土）。
以上七味药，捣碎过筛成散剂。每次服用一钱匕，用糯米饮调服，不限时间服用。

苎根、人参、白垩、蛤粉各一分。

以上三味药，捣成细散。每次服用二钱匕，饭后用腊茶清调服，服药后可以小睡一会儿。
治疗吐血不止的方剂：郁金散。
郁金（一两）、莲实（去皮）、黄芩（锉碎，各一分）。
以上三味药，捣碎过筛成散剂。每次服用一钱匕，用冷水调服，不限时间。
治疗吐血不止的方剂：二黄汤。
生干地黄（焙干）、蒲黄（各一两）。
以上两味药，粗捣筛。每次服用二钱匕，用水一盏，加入竹叶七片，煎至七分，去渣，放凉后细细呷服，饭后服用。
治疗吐血不止的方剂：调胃散。
紫背荷叶（焙干半两）、黄芩（锉碎一分）。
以上两味药，捣碎过筛成细散。每次服用一钱匕，用生姜蜜水调服，不限时间。
治疗吐血不止的方剂：白蔹汤。
白蔹三两、阿胶（二两炙至干燥）。
以上两味药，粗捣筛。每次服用二钱匕，用酒和水共一盏，加入生地黄汁二合，同煎至七分，去渣温服。如果没有地黄汁，加入生干地黄一分同煎也可以。
治疗吐血，肺损不止的方剂：白金散。
白面、九节菖蒲末（各一两）。
以上两味药，再次研磨均匀。每次服用二钱匕，用新汲取的冷水调服，若未止再服。如果是中暑毒瓦斯，用生姜蜜水调服。
治疗吐血像鹅鸭肝一样，昼夜不止的方剂：生犀散。
犀角（二两镑成屑，生用）、桔梗（二两生用）。
以上两味药，捣碎过筛成散剂。用暖酒调服二钱匕。
治疗吐血，成块不止的方剂：箬叶散。
箬叶（半两烧成灰）、枫香脂（一两）。
以上两味药，研成散剂。每次服用一钱匕，用煎好的黄牛皮汤调服，不限时间。

治疗吐血不止的方剂。

治疗吐血不止，伴有咳嗽的方剂：补肺百花煎。
生地黄汁（一升）、生姜汁（半升）、黄牛乳（一升半）、藕汁（一升）、胡桃瓤（十枚研如糊）、干柿五枚（细锉，研如糊）、大枣（二十一枚煮去皮核，研如糊）、清酒（一升）。以上数味药一处放入银锅中煎，待沸腾后才下后药：黄明胶（炙燥为末）、秦艽末（各半两）、杏仁（汤浸去皮尖）。以上十一味药，依次下锅，煎减一半，再加入上好的蜜四两，慢慢用火熬制成煎膏，装入瓷盒中储存。每日服用三次，每次一匙头，用糯米饮调服，用酒送服也可以。

Commentary states: Among the Zang organs, the True Qi of the Lung is highest and governs Qi; the True Qi connects with the Heart and governs Blood; the True Qi scatters into the Liver and stores Blood. These three may be injured by sorrow, worry, overthinking, or anger causing Qi rebellion. Injury leads to chaotic Qi and reckless blood flow. The blood enters the Stomach downwards; when the Stomach receives it, distension occurs. The Qi rushes upward, thus causing continuous hematemesis (vomiting blood).
Formula for treating severe hematemesis that does not stop: Dasheng San (Great Sage Powder).

Biejia (Trionycis Carapax, one liang, chopped into slices); Gafen (Calcitum, one liang, fried together with Biejia in a pot until fragrant and yellow); Shugan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried by sun, one and a half liang).
The above three ingredients are pounded into a fine powder. Each dose is two qianbi, taken after meals with La Cha Qing (Aged Tea Infusion). One may rest briefly after taking the medicine.

Yujin (Curcumae Radix, one liang); Lianshi (Nelumbinis Semen, peeled); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, chopped, each one fen).

Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Erhuang Tang (Two Yellow Decoction).
Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried); Puhuang (Pollinis Typhae, each one liang).
The above two ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is two qianbi, with one zhan (approx. 200ml) of water, adding seven leaves of Zhuye (Bambusae Folium), decocted to seven-tenths volume. Strain, cool, and sip slowly. Take after meals.

Zibei Heye (Nymphaeae Folium with purple back, dried, half liang); Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix, chopped, one fen).

Decoct together to seven-tenths volume, strain, and take warm. Baifan (Alumen), Jiujie Changpu (Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma selected as nine-jointed), powdered (each one liang).
The above two ingredients are ground again until uniform. Each dose is two qianbi, taken with newly drawn cold water. If bleeding has not stopped, take another dose. For heatstroke or toxic vapors, take with Shengjiang Mi Shui (Ginger and Honey Water).
Formula for treating hematemesis resembling goose or duck liver, continuing day and night: Shengxi San (Raw Rhinoceros Horn Powder).
Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu, two liang, shaved into flakes, used raw); Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, two liang, used raw).
The above two ingredients are pounded and sieved into a powder. Take two qianbi mixed with warm wine.

Take high-quality white porcelain bowls or plates, crush them, and grind into fine powder. Make a decoction from Zaojia Zi (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus seed). Mix the powder with this decoction. Take two qianbi. Three consecutive doses will cure it immediately.

Shengdihuang Zhi (Fresh Rehmanniae Juice, one sheng); Shengjiang Zhi (Fresh Ginger Juice, half sheng); Huangniu Ru (Cow Milk, one and a half sheng); Ou Zhi (Lotus Root Juice, one sheng); Hutao Rang (Walnut Kernel, ten pieces, ground into paste); Ganshi (Dried Persimmon, five pieces, finely chopped and ground into paste); Dazao (Jujubae Fructus, twenty-one pieces, boiled, skin and pits removed, ground into paste); Qingjiu (Clear Wine, one sheng). Place the above ingredients in a silver pot and decoct. After boiling, add the following medicines: Huangming Jiao (Huangming Jiao, fried dry and powdered); Qin Jiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, powdered, each half liang); Xingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, soaked in water, skin and tips removed). Add these eleven ingredients sequentially. Decoct until volume is reduced by half. Then add four liang of high-quality honey. Slowly cook into a paste. Store in a porcelain container. Take three times daily, one spoonful per dose, mixed with Mixian Yin (Glutinous Rice Decoction). Taking with wine is also acceptable.
Formula for treating hematemesis that does not stop: Honglanhua Yin (Carthamus Tinctorius Drink).
Honglanhua (Carthami Flos, two liang); Fulonggan (Dragon's House Earth, three liang, soaked in five sheng five he of water, filtered to obtain juice); Xijiao (Rhinocerotis Cornu, shaved, one fen); Tian Zhuru (Sweet Bamboo Shavings, three fen); Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma - *Note: Original text says "Bai", inferred as Baiji based on context of hemostasis formulas*).
The above six ingredients: Decoct all medicines using the Fulonggan juice to obtain six he. Strain. Divide into three doses after meals. Each dose should include one qianbi of Luafa Hui (Burnt Hair Ash) mixed evenly.
Formula for treating sudden hematemesis that does not stop: Ejiao Tang (Donkey-Hide Gelatin Decoction).
Ejiao (Asini Corii Colla, fried dry); Aiye (Artemisiae Argyi Folium, dried, each three liang); Diyü (Sanguisorbae Radix); Shaoyao (Paeoniae Radix, each four liang); Jigen (Cirsii Japonici Radix, five liang).
The above five ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is five qianbi, with one and a half zhan of water, decocted to eight-tenths volume. Strain and take warm.
Formula for treating Heat accumulation in Heart and Lung, or anger causing Qi rebellion leading to reckless blood flow lasting long without stopping: Tumazong Tang (Wild Horse Mane Decoction).
Tumazong (Herba Leonuri Japonici, dried two liang); Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus, pith removed, bran-fried); Baifuling (Poria, black skin removed); Qin Jiao (Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix, seedlings and soil removed); Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried, chopped); Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix, seedlings removed); Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma); Shenggan Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, dried, each one liang).
The above eight ingredients are coarsely pounded and sieved. Each dose is three qianbi, with one zhan of water, decocted to seven-tenths volume. Strain and take warm after meals.
