论曰小儿阳气盛壮，上焦有热。伏于肝心二脏。播流脉中，血得热则妄行。下入胃中，
胃受之则胀满，与气俱上冲击，故令吐血。
治小儿心肺热吐血。黄连饮方
黄连（去须一两） 豉（二百粒）
上二味，将黄连粗捣筛。每服半钱匕，水七分，入豉二十粒，同煎取三分，去滓温服，
日三，更量大小加减。
治小儿吐血不定方
刺蓟（自然汁不计多少） 朴硝（半两）
上二味，先研朴硝为末。二百日儿及 儿，每服用刺蓟汁。调朴硝末一字，至半钱匕
，日再服，更量大小加减。
治小儿吐血。大黄汤方。
大黄（锉炒） 黄芩（去黑心各一分）
上二味。粗捣筛，三四岁儿每服一钱匕，水七分，入黑豆三十粒，同煎至四分，去滓温
服。日三，更量大小加减。
治小儿积热攻肺，猝吐血方
飞罗面（二两） 生地黄汁（二盏）
上二味。相和匀，曝干研为末。每服半钱匕，新汲水调下。日三，随儿大小加减。
又方
刺蓟花（曝干不拘多少）
上一味，捣罗为末，每用黄牛乳调下一钱匕，日三。
治小儿吐血，地黄饮方
地黄（一升研取自然汁）
上一味，一岁儿服半合，二三岁每服一合，量儿大小增减，日三。
又方
蛇蜕皮（烧灰研细）
上一味，乳汁调下一字匕。日三服，随大小加减。
论述说：小儿的阳气旺盛壮实，上焦有热邪。热邪潜伏在肝、心两脏之中，流窜于血脉之内，血液受热则妄行乱动。若血下行进入胃中，胃受到邪气影响就会出现胀满，气血一起向上冲击，从而导致吐血。

以上两味药，粗捣并筛过。对于三到四岁的幼儿，每次服用一钱匕的量，用七分水，加入三十粒黑豆，一同煎煮至剩余四分药液，滤去药渣，温服。每日三次，并根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减剂量。
治疗小儿积热攻肺，突然吐血的方子：
飞罗面（二两） 生地黄汁（两盏）
以上两味药，混合均匀，晒干后研成粉末。每次服用半钱匕的量，用刚打来的冷水调服。每日三次，根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减剂量。
另一个方子：
刺蓟花（晒干，数量不限）
以上一味药，捣碎过筛成粉末，每次用黄牛乳调服一钱匕的量，每日三次。
治疗小儿吐血的地黄饮方：
地黄（一升，研磨取自然汁）
以上一味药，一岁的幼儿服用半合的量，两到三岁的幼儿每次服用一合的量，根据患儿年龄大小增减，每日三次。
另一个方子：
蛇蜕皮（烧成灰，研细）
以上一味药，用乳汁调服“一字”的量。每日服用三次，根据患儿年龄大小酌情增减。
Discourse states: Children possess vigorous and robust Yang Qi, with heat in the Upper Jiao (Upper Burner). This heat lurks within the Liver and Heart organs, circulating through the vessels. When blood is subjected to heat, it acts recklessly and flows abnormally. If the blood descends into the Stomach, the Stomach becomes affected, leading to distension and fullness. The Qi and blood surge upward together, causing hematemesis (vomiting of blood).
For treating hematemesis in children due to heat in the Heart and Lungs, Huanglian Yin (Coptis Decoction):
Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma, remove roots, 1 liang)
Chi Shao Dou Chi (Prepared Soybean Seed Fermentatum, 200 grains)
Process the two ingredients above by coarsely crushing and sieving the Huanglian. For each dose, take half a qianbi (a traditional measuring spoon), add seven parts water and twenty grains of Dou Chi, decoct together until three parts remain, filter out the dregs, and take warm. Administer three times daily, adjusting dosage according to the child's age and size.
For treating uncertain hematemesis in children:
Ci Ji (Acanthopanacis Trifidi Caulis, extract natural juice, quantity as needed)
Pu Xiao (Natrii Sulfas, 0.5 liang)
Process the two ingredients above by first grinding Pu Xiao into powder. For infants around 200 days old and slightly older children, for each dose, use Ci Ji juice to mix with a "yi zi" (a small measure, approx. 0.3-0.5g) amount of Pu Xiao powder, up to half a qianbi. Administer twice daily, adjusting dosage according to the child's age and size.
For treating hematemesis in children, Dahuang Tang (Rhubarb Decoction):
Da Huang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, cut and stir-fried)
Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, remove black heart, 1 fen each)
Process the two ingredients above by coarsely crushing and sieving. For children aged three to four years, for each dose, take one qianbi, add seven parts water and thirty black soybeans, decoct together until four parts remain, filter out the dregs, and take warm. Administer three times daily, adjusting dosage according to the child's age and size.
For treating sudden hematemesis in children due to accumulated heat attacking the Lungs:
Fei Luo Mian (Fine Wheat Flour, 2 liang)
Sheng Di Huang Zhi (Fresh Rehmanniae Radix Juice, 2 zhan)
Process the two ingredients above by mixing evenly, sun-drying, and grinding into powder. For each dose, take half a qianbi, mix with fresh cold water, and ingest. Administer three times daily, adjusting dosage according to the child's age and size.
Another formula:
Ci Ji Hua (Acanthopanacis Trifidi Flos, sun-dried, quantity as needed)
Process the single ingredient above by crushing and sieving into powder. For each dose, mix with yellow cow milk and take one qianbi. Administer three times daily.
Di Huang Yin (Rehmannia Drink) for treating hematemesis in children:
Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix, 1 sheng, crushed to extract natural juice)
Process the single ingredient above. For one-year-old children, administer half a he; for two-to-three-year-old children, administer one he per dose. Adjust according to the child's age and size. Administer three times daily.
