论曰目生花翳者，点点色白，状如枣花鱼鳞之类是也，此由肝肺实热，冲发眼目，其始

半日，候草汁尽为度，以新绵绞去滓，更澄清，用通油瓶子盛，每临卧，挑一钱匕。涂于顶
上，摩千余遍，令入毛孔中，渐觉清轻，甚者半月即瘥，三五夜一次用，兼治肾虚眼暗，五
脏风毒上冲入脑，脑脂流下为内障，及能生髭发，散风毒，八月九月，取莲子草汁修合佳。
治风热上攻，眼生花翳，及有赤脉，冲贯黑睛，真珠散方

治疗眼睛积年生出的花翳，适宜点用的琥珀散方：
琥珀半两，真珠末一两，珊瑚半两，朱砂半两，砂（白色的）半两，马牙硝半两，乌贼鱼骨半两（先在粗石上磨去涩性，取用好的一钱）。
以上七味药，全部放入乳钵中，研磨三天使其极细，每天点用三到五次。
治疗眼睛生出花翳，多年不退，适宜服用的蕤仁散方：
蕤仁一两（用汤浸泡去掉赤皮），赤茯苓一两半，秦艽一两（去苗），柴胡一两（去苗），川大黄半两（锉碎炒制），枳壳一两半（炒黄去瓤），车前子三分，青葙子三两，赤芍药三分。
以上九味药，捣成细散，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至六分，连同药渣一起温服。
治疗花翳的黄芩汤方：
黄芩（去掉黑心），木通（锉碎），黄连（去须），以上各二两，地骨皮，葳蕤，甘草（炙制锉碎），以上各一两半。
以上六味药，粗捣过筛，每次服用五钱匕，用水一盏半，煎至七分，去渣后饭后温服，每日两次。
治疗眼睛生出白色翳膜，如枣花形状的羚羊角汤方：
羚羊角（镑片），大黄（锉碎炒制），桑根白皮（锉碎），黄连（去须），决明子，黄芩（去掉黑心），甘菊花，以上各一两，甘草（炙制锉碎）半两。
以上八味药，粗捣过筛，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至六分，去渣后饭后温服。
治疗花翳流泪的鸡距丸方：
干姜（炮制）三分，蕤仁（细研），鸡舌香，胡粉，以上各半两，黄连末一两，矾石（熬制研细）半分。
以上六味药，捣研成末，用枣肉做成如鸡距大小的丸剂，滴入眼中，每日两次。
治疗花翳不能见光的，点眼用的马牙硝散方：
马牙硝半两，黄连末一两，砂（研细），龙脑，以上各半分，芦荟末，真珠末，以上各一分。
以上六味药，共同研磨成粉，每次用铜筷取芝麻大小，点入眼中。
治疗花翳的摩顶青莲膏方：
大青，葳蕤，朴硝，栀子叶，长理石（研细），吴蓝，以上各一两半，槐子曾青（分别研成粉），以上各一两，盐花三两，淡竹叶一握（洗净切段），生麻油三升，黄牛酥二两，莲子草汁一升。
以上十三味药，取干净的锅，先放入油、酥、莲子草汁这三味，煮沸后，将另外十味药包在绵布里，放入锅中用慢火煎半天，等到草汁煎尽为止，用新棉布绞去药渣，再澄清，用通油的瓶子盛装。每次临睡前，挑取一钱匕，涂在头顶，按摩一千多遍，使药力进入毛孔中，逐渐感觉清爽轻盈，严重者半月即可痊愈，每三五夜使用一次。兼治肾虚导致的眼睛昏暗，五脏风毒上冲入脑，脑脂流下形成内障，以及能促进胡须头发生长，疏散风毒。八月九月采集莲子草汁制作效果更佳。
治疗风热上攻，眼睛生出花翳，且有红脉贯穿黑睛的真珠散方：
真珠末，琥珀末，以上各一分，丹砂末半分，砂（两粒豆子大小，好的研细）。
以上四味药，混合研磨极细，每天点用三到五次。
治疗眼睛生出花翳的水照丸方：
乌贼鱼骨（取白色中心部分），生龙脑，丹砂（飞过处理），以上各一钱。
以上三味药，混合研磨极细，用蜡调和做成小饼状，放入眼中。
治疗内外障眼，以及浮花遮挡视线的梦灵丸方：
黄连（去须），太阴玄精石（研细），石决明（洗净焙干捣末），蕤仁（研细），以上各一两，羊子肝七枚（去掉膜切片晒干）。
以上五味药，捣研成末，用粟米粥做成如梧桐子大小的丸剂，每次服用二十丸，临睡前用茶送服。
治疗眼睛生出花翳，退除翳膜的仙术散方：
苍术二两（米泔水浸泡一夜后焙干），木贼，甘草（炙制锉碎），以上各一两，蝉蜕（洗净），谷精草，以上各一分，蛇蜕一钱（汤洗焙干滴油捣碎），黄芩（去掉黑心）半两。
以上七味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用一钱匕，空腹及临睡前用冷水调服。
治疗上膈实热，上冲引发眼睛，逐渐生出花翳的吹鼻去障翳方：
波斯青黛（水上漂浮的为一份），瓜蒂七枚（先制成末），母丁香七枚（先制成末），麝香（研细），龙脑（研细），以上各一字。
以上五味药，共同研磨成粉，瓶贮并用蜡密封，勿使漏气。每次取大麻子大小，吹入鼻中，早晨两次，临睡前一次，七日见效。

* Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae)
* Xuanfuhua (Flos Inulae)
* Fushen (Poria with Hostwood)
* Xuanshen (Radix Scrophulariae)
* Chuan Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, cut and stir-fried), each 1 liang
* Gan Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi Indici) 0.5 liang
* Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried) 1 fen
Crush and sieve the above eleven herbs into a fine powder. Take 2 qian bi per dose, decoct with one sheng of water until reduced to 0.6 sheng, and take warm including the dregs.
**Hupo San (Amber Powder)** for treating long-standing flower-like membranes in the eyes, suitable for topical application:
* Hupo (Electrum) 0.5 liang
* Zhenzhu mo (Concha Margaritifera, powdered) 1 liang
* Shanhu (Corallium) 0.5 liang
* Zhusha (Cinnabaris) 0.5 liang
* Sha (Sal Prunellae, white variety) 0.5 liang
* Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas) 0.5 liang
* Wouyu gu (Os Sepiae, ground on coarse stone to remove astringency, select 1 qian) 0.5 liang
Grind all seven ingredients together in a mortar for three days until extremely fine. Apply topically 3-5 times daily.
**Rui Ren San (Prunus Persica Seed Powder)** for treating flower-like membranes in the eyes that persist for many years, suitable for oral administration:
* Rui ren (Semen Pruni Persicae, soaked in hot water to remove red skin) 1 liang
* Chi Fuling (Poria cum Risus, red interior) 1.5 liang
* Qinjiao (Radix Gentiana Macrophyllae, remove sprouts) 1 liang
* Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri, remove sprouts) 1 liang
* Chuan Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, cut and stir-fried) 0.5 liang
* Zhike (Fructus Aurantii, stir-fried until yellow, remove pith) 1.5 liang
* Cheqianzi (Semen Plantaginis) 3 fen
* Qingxiangzi (Semen Celosiae) 3 liang
* Chi Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Rubra) 3 fen
Crush the above nine herbs into a fine powder. Take 3 qian bi per dose, decoct with one sheng of water until reduced to 0.6 sheng, and take warm including the dregs.
**Huangqin Tang (Scutellaria Decoction)** for treating flower-like membranes:
* Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart)
* Mutong (Caulis Akebiae, cut)
* Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove roots), each 2 liang
* Digupi (Cortex Lycii Radicis)
* Weirui (Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati)
* Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried and cut), each 1.5 liang
Coarsely crush and sieve the above six herbs. Take 5 qian bi per dose, decoct with 1.5 sheng of water until reduced to 0.7 sheng, strain, and take warm after meals. Repeat twice daily.
**Lingyangjiao Tang (Antelope Horn Decoction)** for treating white opacities in the eyes resembling jujube flowers:
* Lingyangjiao (Cornu Saigae Tataricae, shaved)
* Dahuang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, cut and stir-fried)
* Sanggenbaipi (Cortex Morus Radicis, cut)
* Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove roots)
* Juemingzi (Semen Cassiae)
* Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart)
* Gan Juhua (Flos Chrysanthemi Indici), each 1 liang
* Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried and cut) 0.5 liang
Coarsely crush and sieve the above eight herbs. Take 3 qian bi per dose, decoct with one sheng of water until reduced to 0.6 sheng, strain, and take warm after meals.
**Jiju Wan (Chicken Spur Pill)** for treating flower-like membranes with tearing:
* Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis, processed) 3 fen
* Rui ren (Semen Pruni Persicae, finely ground)
* Jishe xiang (Styrax Tonkinensis)
* Hufen (Cerussa), each 0.5 liang
* Huanglian mo (Rhizoma Coptidis, powdered) 1 liang
* Fanshi (Alumen, calcined and ground) 0.5 fen
Grind the above six ingredients into powder. Form pills using date paste, sized like chicken spurs. Instill into the eyes twice daily.
**Mayaxiao San (Natrii Sulfas Powder)** for topical application for flower-like membranes causing photophobia:
* Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas) 0.5 liang
* Huanglian mo (Rhizoma Coptidis, powdered) 1 liang
* Sha (Sal Prunellae, ground)
* Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum), each 0.5 fen
* Lvhua mo (Aloe, powdered)
* Zhenzhu mo (Concha Margaritifera, powdered), each 1 fen
Grind the above six ingredients together into a powder. Using chopsticks, take an amount the size of a hemp seed and instill into the eyes.
**Qinglian Gao (Green Lotus Ointment)** for massaging the scalp for treating flower-like membranes:
* Daqing (Indigo Naturalis)
* Weirui (Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati)
* Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas)
* Zhiziye (Folium Gardeniae)
* Changlishi (Talcum, ground)
* Wu Lan (Isatidis Folium), each 1.5 liang
* Huaizi (Semen Sophorae) and Zengqing (Calamina), separately ground to powder, each 1 liang
* Yanhua (Halitum) 3 liang
* Danzhuye (Folium Phyllostachys Henonis) one handful (washed and cut)
* Sheng Mazhongyou (Oleum Sesami Album) 3 sheng
* Huangniusu (Butyrum Bovis) 2 liang
* Lianzicao zhi (Juice of Ecliptae Herba) 1 sheng
Take thirteen clean ingredients. In a clean pot, first boil the oil, butter, and juice. Then wrap the remaining ten herbs in cotton cloth and simmer slowly in the pot for half a day until the juice is exhausted. Strain through new cotton cloth, clarify, and store in an oil-tight bottle. Before bed, apply one qian bi to the scalp and massage over 1,000 times to penetrate the pores. A gradual feeling of clarity and lightness will occur; severe cases may resolve within half a month. Use once every 3-5 nights. Also treats dim vision due to Kidney deficiency, wind-toxin from the five Zang organs rushing to the brain, internal cataracts formed by brain fat flowing down, promotes beard and hair growth, and disperses wind-toxin. Best prepared in August and September using fresh Ecliptae Herba juice.
**Zhenzhu San (Pearl Powder)** for treating flower-like membranes caused by wind-heat attacking upward, with red vessels penetrating the cornea:
* Zhenzhu mo (Concha Margaritifera, powdered)
* Hupo mo (Electrum, powdered), each 1 fen
* Dansha mo (Cinnabaris, powdered) 0.5 fen
* Sha (Sal Prunellae, two bean-sized pieces, good quality, ground)
Grind the above four ingredients together until extremely fine. Apply topically 3-5 times daily.
**Shuizhao Wan (Water Reflection Pill)** for treating flower-like membranes in the eyes:
* Wouyu gu (Os Sepiae, use white center)
* Sheng Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum)
* Dansha (Cinnabaris, washed), each 1 qian
Grind the above three ingredients together until extremely fine. Mix with wax to form small cakes and place in the eyes.
**Mengling Wan (Dream Spirit Pill)** for treating internal and external cataracts and visual obstruction by floating opacities:
* Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis, remove roots)
* Taiyin Xuanjingshi (Gypsum Fibrosum, ground)
* Shijueming (Concha Arcae, washed, dried, and powdered)
* Rui ren (Semen Pruni Persicae, ground), each 1 liang
* Yangzigan (Hepar Ovis, seven pieces, membrane removed, sliced and dried)
Grind the above five ingredients into powder. Form pills using millet porridge, sized like sophora seeds. Take 20 pills before bed, washed down with tea.
**Tuibi Xianshu San (Immortal Procedure Powder for Removing Opacities)** for treating flower-like membranes in the eyes:
* Cangzhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, 2 liang, soaked overnight in rice water, dried)
* Muzei (Ramulus Tumbeae)
* Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried and cut), each 1 liang
* Chantui (Periostracum Cicadae, washed)
* Gujingcao (Capitulum Glehniae), each 1 fen
* Shetui (Intestinum Serpentis, 1 qian, washed in hot water, dried, oiled, and crushed)
* Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae, remove black heart) 0.5 liang
Crush and sieve the above seven herbs into a powder. Take 1 qian bi per dose, mixed with cold water, taken on an empty stomach and before bed.
**Chubi Quzhangyi Fang (Nasal Insufflation Formula for Removing Obstructions)** for treating flower-like membranes gradually forming due to excess heat in the upper jiao rushing to the eyes:
* Bosi Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, floating on water, 1 fen)
* Gudi (Fructus Cucumeris, 7 pieces, pre-ground)
* Mudingxiang (Cardamomi Fructus, 7 pieces, pre-ground)
* Shexiang (Moschus, ground)
* Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum, ground), each 1 zi
Grind the above five ingredients together into a powder. Store in a bottle sealed with wax to prevent leakage. Take an amount the size of a large hemp seed, insufflate into the nose. Twice in the morning, once before bed. Effective within seven days.
