论曰酒者熟谷之液也。其性剽悍急疾，后食而入，先食而出。能通关节而走肤腠。上古
作汤液醪醴，为而不用，后世嗜之无节，或饮过度，停积不散，蕴滞于胃，散流诸脉熏蒸腑
脏，令人志乱，乃至不醒。有连日而无所觉知者，甚则中毒而为酒疸诸热之病也。
治饮酒中毒不醒方
大豆（三升）
上一味，以水三升，煮取二升，去滓，每服一盏，不拘时温服。
治饮酒大醉，不得安卧，必须使人摇动，不尔恐酒毒腐伤肠胃。方
上以生茅根，捣绞取汁，每服一小盏，频服之。
治酒毒昏闷烦渴，或醉不醒。柑皮煮散方
柑子皮（二两洗焙干）
上一味，捣罗为散，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎三五沸温服，或入少盐末沸汤点，未效再
服。
治饮酒中毒方
干桑椹（二合）
上一味，用酒一升，浸一时久，取酒旋饮之，即解。
治酒醉不醒方
菘菜子（不以多少）
上一味，每研半合，以井华水一盏调服。
治饮酒中毒。葛花散方
葛花（一两）
上一味，捣为散，沸汤点，一大钱匕，不拘时候，亦可煎服。
治饮酒过度不醒。葛根汤方
葛根（细锉二两）
上一味，粗捣筛，每服三钱匕，水一盏，煎七分，去滓温服，不拘时候。
治饮酒过多，大醉不醒。石膏汤方
石膏（五两） 葛根（锉） 生姜（细切各三两）
上三味，锉如麻豆大，每服五钱匕，水二盏，煎至一盏，去滓温服，不拘时候。
治饮酒太过，内热烦躁，言语错谬。人参汤方
人参（二两） 芍药 栝蒌实 枳实（去瓤麸炒） 茯神（去木） 生地黄（洗切） 甘

干蔓荆根（不拘多少蒸一次切焙干）
上一味，捣罗为散，每服二钱匕，饮酒后，用新汲水调下。
论述说：酒是谷物发酵后的液体。它的性质剽悍、急骤，饭后进入体内，却比食物先排出体外。它能通达关节并运行于皮肤腠理之间。上古时代制作了汤液醪醴（一种药酒），但制作后并不饮用；后世的人对饮酒没有节制，或者饮酒过度，导致酒液停滞积聚不散，郁结在胃中，散流至各条经脉，熏蒸脏腑，使人神志混乱，甚至不省人事。有的连续几天都感觉不到知觉，严重的话会导致中毒，引发酒疸（因饮酒过多导致的黄疸病）等各种热性病证。
治疗饮酒中毒、神志不清的方剂
大豆（三升）
以上一味药，用水三升，煮取二升，滤去药渣，每次服用一盏，不限时间，温服。
治疗饮酒大醉，无法安稳躺卧，必须让人摇动身体，否则恐怕酒毒腐蚀伤害肠胃。方剂

以上一味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用三钱匕（约3-5克），用水一盏，煎煮三五沸后温服，或者加入少许盐末，用沸水冲服，如果无效再服用。
治疗饮酒中毒的方剂

以上一味药，用酒一升，浸泡一段时间，取出酒液随即饮下，即可解酒。
治疗醉酒不醒的方剂
菘菜子（白菜籽，用量不限）
以上一味药，每次研磨半合，用井华水（清晨第一次打的井水）一盏调服。
治疗饮酒中毒的葛花散方

以上一味药，捣碎成散剂，用沸水冲服一大钱匕，不限时间，也可以煎服。
治疗饮酒过度不醒的葛根汤方

以上一味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分，滤去药渣温服，不限时间。
治疗饮酒过多，大醉不醒的石膏汤方
石膏（五两） 葛根（锉碎） 生姜（细切，各三两）
以上三味药，锉碎如麻豆大小，每次服用五钱匕，用水二盏，煎至一盏，滤去药渣温服，不限时间。
治疗饮酒太过，体内发热烦躁，言语错乱。人参汤方
人参（二两） 芍药 栝蒌实（瓜蒌果实） 枳实（去除瓤和麸皮炒制） 茯神（去除木质部分） 生地黄（洗净切片） 甘草（炙烤）
以上九味药，锉碎如麻豆大小，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分，滤去药渣温服，不限时间。
治疗饮酒大醉，心胸闷胀，呕吐气喘急促。豆蔻汤方
草豆蔻（去皮三分） 丁香 小豆（赤小豆） 人参 木香 高良姜 槟榔（锉碎） 陈橘皮（汤浸去白）
以上八味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，加入生姜半分切，煎取七分，滤去药渣，不限时间温服。
治疗饮酒过度，酒毒积聚在肠胃，或者呕吐不能进食，口渴多饮。橘皮汤方
陈橘皮（汤浸去白焙干） 葛根（锉碎） 甘草（炙烤锉碎） 石膏（打碎，各一两）
以上四味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分，滤去药渣温服，不限时间。
治疗饮酒后发渴，又想喝酒。栝蒌汤方
栝蒌根（天花粉） 桑根白皮（细锉，各三两） 麦门冬（去心焙干，一两） 葛根（锉碎，二两）
以上四味药，粗捣筛过，每次服用三钱匕，用水一盏，煎至七分，滤去药渣温服，不限时间。
治疗饮酒后，酒气袭人（不适）的方剂
干蔓荆根（用量不限，蒸一次后切焙干）
以上一味药，捣碎过筛成散剂，每次服用二钱匕，饮酒后，用新汲水（刚打上来的冷水）调服。
Commentary states: Wine is the liquid derived from fermented grains. Its nature is fierce, rapid, and urgent; entering the body after food, it exits before the food does. It can penetrate joints and circulate through the skin and interstices (Cou Li). In ancient times, decoctions and fermented medicinal wines were prepared but not consumed; in later generations, people indulged without restraint, or drank excessively, causing the wine to stagnate and accumulate, remaining unresolved. It becomes trapped in the Stomach, disperses into the various meridians, steams and fumes the Zang-Fu organs, causing mental confusion, and even leading to unconsciousness. Some may remain unaware for days. Severe cases result in poisoning, manifesting as alcohol jaundice (Jiu Dan) and other heat-related diseases.
Formula for treating alcohol poisoning and unconsciousness
Soybean (Da Dou), 3 Sheng
Take the above single herb, add 3 Sheng of water, boil to obtain 2 Sheng, remove the dregs. Take one Zhan per dose, warm, at any time.
Formula for treating severe drunkenness where one cannot lie still, requiring shaking by others; otherwise, fear that alcohol toxin will corrode and damage the intestines and stomach.
Use fresh Rhizoma Imperatae (Mao Gen), crush and squeeze to extract juice. Take a small Zhan per dose, administer frequently.
Gan Pi Decoction Powder for treating alcohol toxin-induced drowsiness, oppression, irritability, and thirst, or drunkenness with unconsciousness.
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Gan Zi Pi), 2 Liang, washed and dried by baking
Crush and sieve the above single herb into a powder. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, boil for three to five boils, take warm. Alternatively, add a little salt powder and mix with boiling water. If ineffective, take again.
Formula for treating alcohol poisoning
Dried Morus alba Fruit (Sang Shen), 2 He
Soak the above single herb in 1 Sheng of wine for a period of time. Take the wine immediately upon extraction to resolve the intoxication.
Formula for treating drunkenness with unconsciousness
Brassica rapa var. pekinensis Seed (Song Cai Zi), appropriate amount
Grind half a He of the above single herb each time, mix with one Zhan of well-water drawn at dawn (Jing Hua Shui), and take orally.
Ge Hua Powder for treating alcohol poisoning
Flos Buddlejae (Ge Hua), 1 Liang
Crush the above single herb into a powder. Mix with boiling water, take one Da Qian Bi per dose, at any time. It may also be decocted.
Gen Gen Decoction for treating unconsciousness due to excessive drinking
Radix Puerariae Lobatae (Ge Gen), finely cut, 2 Liang
Coarsely crush and sieve the above single herb. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 70%, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Shi Gao Decoction for treating excessive drinking, severe drunkenness, and unconsciousness
Gypsum Fibrosum (Shi Gao), 5 Liang; Radix Puerariae Lobatae (Ge Gen), cut; Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Sheng Jiang), finely cut, 3 Liang each
Cut the above three herbs into sizes resembling hemp seeds. Take 5 Qian Bi per dose, with two Zhan of water, decoct until reduced to one Zhan, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Ren Shen Decoction for treating excessive drinking, internal heat, irritability, and erroneous speech
Radix Ginseng (Ren Shen), 2 Liang; Radix Paeoniae Alba (Shao Yao); Fructus Trichosanthis (Gua Lou Shi); Fructus Aurantii Immaturus (Zhi Shi), bran removed and stir-fried; Poria Cum Ramo Xyli (Fu Shen), woody part removed; Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Di Huang), washed and sliced; Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gan Cao), honey-fried
The above nine herbs are cut into sizes resembling hemp seeds. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 70%, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Dou Kou Decoction for treating severe drunkenness, chest oppression, abdominal distension, vomiting, and rapid breathing
Rhizoma Alpiniae Katsumadai (Cao Dou Kou), peeled, 3 Fen; Flos Caryophylli (Ding Xiang); Semen Phaseoli Radiati (Xiao Dou); Radix Ginseng (Ren Shen); Lignum Aucklandiae (Mu Xiang); Rhizoma Zingiberis Officinalis (Gao Liang Jiang); Semen Arecae (Bing Lang), cut; Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chen Ju Pi), soaked in water, white pith removed
The above eight herbs are coarsely crushed and sieved. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, add 0.5 Fen of sliced fresh ginger, decoct until reduced to 70%, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Ju Pi Decoction for treating excessive drinking, accumulation of alcohol toxin in the intestines and stomach, vomiting, anorexia, and excessive thirst.
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (Chen Ju Pi), soaked in water, white pith removed and baked; Radix Puerariae Lobatae (Ge Gen), cut; Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata (Gan Cao), honey-fried and cut; Gypsum Fibrosum (Shi Gao), crushed, 1 Liang each
The above four herbs are coarsely crushed and sieved. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 70%, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Gua Lou Decoction for treating thirst after drinking and craving for more alcohol
Radix Trichosanthis (Gua Lou Gen); Cortex Morus Radicis (Sang Gen Bai Pi), finely cut, 3 Liang each; Radix Ophiopogonis (Mai Men Dong), heart removed and baked, 1 Liang; Radix Puerariae Lobatae (Ge Gen), cut, 2 Liang
The above four herbs are coarsely crushed and sieved. Take 3 Qian Bi per dose, with one Zhan of water, decoct until reduced to 70%, remove dregs, take warm, at any time.
Formula for treating post-drinking discomfort caused by alcohol fumes
Dry Radix Viticis Negundo (Gan Man Jing Gen), appropriate amount, steamed once, then cut and dried
Crush and sieve the above single herb into a powder. Take 2 Qian Bi per dose. After drinking, mix with fresh cold water and take orally.
