The treatise states: When Yin and Yang are harmonious and the two Qi interact, with Yang imparting and Yin transforming, pregnancy occurs. Convergence of the Three Yin meridians tends to result in female offspring. However, during the second month of pregnancy, it is called "beginning of fat," where essence and Qi form within the uterus. By the third month, it is called "beginning of fetus," where blood vessels cease flowing, and the form changes according to what is seen, without a fixed shape yet. At this stage, male and female are not yet distinguished. Therefore, for those less than three months pregnant, medicinal prescriptions or methods can be used to influence the sex, aiming to produce a male child.
Prescription for women who have just realized they are pregnant, to nourish the fetus and change the sex from female to male.
