服用乳石类药物的人，由于石气壅滞，心肺有热，就会导致吐血和鼻出血。心主司血液，血液受热就会流溢妄行。因此治疗乳石发动引起的热盛吐血，适宜服用地黄汤方。

以上药物，全部混合在一起，分为四次服用。每次服用时，调入伏龙肝末一钱。如果行人行走五里的时间后，再服用一次。
以上药物中，只要得到其中一味，取少许，用笔管纳入，吹入鼻孔中，出血即可停止。
治疗乳石发动引起的头痛、高热、鼻出血、四肢烦痛，适宜服用刺蓟汤方。

以上药物，切碎并混合均匀。每次服用半两，用水一中盏，煎煮至六分水量，滤去药渣，不拘时候，温服。

新鲜刺蓟，捣碎绞取汁液。每次服用三合，加入少量蜂蜜搅匀后服用。

生地黄，捣碎绞取汁液。每次服用二至三合，宜频繁服用直到止血。

新鲜藕，捣碎绞取汁液。每次服用三合，加入少量蜂蜜搅匀后服用。
又一方。
伏龙肝，用水搅拌，取澄清液体。每次服用一小盏，服用三次即止。
又一方。
蒲黄一两，用水一中盏，调和搅匀，分为两次服用。
Individuals who consume mineral drugs (Ru Shi, a group of stone-based tonics) may experience stagnation of the mineral qi. If there is heat in the Heart and Lungs, it can lead to hematemesis (vomiting blood) and epistaxis (nosebleed). The Heart governs the blood; when blood is affected by heat, it flows excessively. Therefore, for treating hematemesis caused by excessive heat from the activation of mineral drugs, the Dihuang Tang (Rehmannia Decoction) is suitable.
Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Recens, two liang), Ku Zhu Ru (Bamboo Shavings from Bitter Bamboo, one liang), Ci Ji (Spiny Thistle Herb, one liang), Huang Qin (Scutellaria Root, three fen), Chi (Fermented Soybean Paste, one he), Chuan Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, three fen), Huang Lian (Coptis Rhizome).
The above herbs are finely chopped and mixed evenly. Take half a liang per dose, add one large cup of water, decoct until reduced to seven-tenths of the original volume, strain, and take warm in two divided doses. If five li of walking time has passed, administer another dose.
For treating agitation and restlessness of the mind, persistent hematemesis or epistaxis caused by the activation of mineral drugs, this formula is suitable.
Lan Zhi (Indigo Juice, one he), Ou Jie Zhi (Juice of Lotus Node, three he), Mi (Honey, three he), Sheng Jiang Zhi (Fresh Ginger Juice, half he), Sheng Di Huang Zhi (Juice of Fresh Rehmannia Root, three he), Ci Ji (Spiny Thistle Herb, two he).
Mix all the above ingredients together and divide into four doses. For each dose, mix with one qian of Fu Long Gan (Dragon's House Earth) powder. If five li of walking time has passed, administer another dose.
Formula for stopping persistent epistaxis due to excessive toxic heat from the activation of mineral drugs.
Hu Fen (Lead Carbonate), Guang Mo Mo (Fine Ink Powder), Fu Xia Mo Mo (Soot from the Bottom of the Cauldron), Gan Jiang (Dried Ginger Powder), Fa Hui Mei (Ash of Human Hair Powder), Fu Long Gan Mei (Powder of Dragon's House Earth).
Among the above substances, any single item can be used. Take a small amount, insert it using a pen tube into the nostril, and the bleeding will stop immediately.
For treating headache, high fever, epistaxis, and painful distension of the four limbs caused by the activation of mineral drugs, the Ci Ji Tang (Spiny Thistle Decoction) is suitable.
Ci Ji (Spiny Thistle Herb, one liang), Qing Zhu Ru (Green Bamboo Shavings, one liang), Sheng Mai Men Dong Zhi (Juice of Fresh Ophiopogon Tuber, one liang, heart removed), Qian Gen (Madder Root, half a liang, chopped), Dang Gui (Angelica Sinensis Root, half a liang), Ji Su (Perilla Leaf).
The above herbs are finely chopped and mixed evenly. Take half a liang per dose, add one medium cup of water, decoct until reduced to six-tenths of the original volume, strain, and take warm at any time.
For treating severe congestion and heat, chest oppression, and hematemesis caused by the activation of mineral drugs, this formula is suitable.
Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon Tuber, one liang, heart removed), Sheng Di Huang (Fresh Rehmannia Root, two liang), Gan Cao (Licorice Root, half a liang, raw), Qi (Shepherd's Purse Herb, one liang), Xuan Shen (Scrophularia Root, one liang), Mao Gen (Imperata Rhizome).
The above herbs are finely chopped and mixed evenly. Take half a liang per dose, add one medium cup of water, decoct until reduced to six-tenths of the original volume, strain, and take warm. Administer one dose every five li of walking time.
Another formula.
Fresh Ci Ji (Spiny Thistle Herb), crush and squeeze to extract juice. Take three he per dose, mix with a little honey evenly, and ingest.

Sheng Di Huang (Fresh Rehmannia Root), crush and squeeze to extract juice. Take two to three he per dose. It is advisable to take frequently until the bleeding stops.

Fresh Ou (Lotus Rhizome), crush and squeeze to extract juice. Take three he per dose, mix with a little honey evenly, and ingest.
