Lu Jiao Jiao (Deer Horn Glue, 1 liang, crushed and stir-fried until yellow and dry), Qian Hu (Peucedani Radix, 1 liang, radix removed), Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Tuber, 3 fen, heart removed), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 1 liang, soaked in decoction to remove white pith), Chi Fu Ling (Poria with Red Wood, 1 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by irritability, thirst, cough, and bitter taste in the mouth: Mai Men Dong San Powder.
Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Tuber, 1.5 liang, heart removed), Chi Fu Ling (Poria with Red Wood, 1 liang), Zhi Mu (Anemarrhenae Rhizoma, 1 liang), Huang Qi (Astragali Radix, 1 liang, sliced), Bai Mao Gen (Imperatae Rhizoma, 1 liang, sliced), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 5 cun of scallion white until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Bai He (Lilii Bulbus, 0.5 liang), Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, 1 liang, sliced), Gua Lou Gen (Trichosanthis Radix, 1 liang, sliced), Tian Ting Li (Descurainiae Semen seu Lepidii Semen, 0.5 liang, stir-fried through paper until slightly yellow), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, honey-fried until slightly red and sliced).

Bai He (Lilii Bulbus), Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma, radix and soil removed), Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Tuber, heart removed), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix, radix removed), Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, sliced), each 1 liang; Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, honey-fried until slightly red and sliced).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 1 fen of Zhu Ru (Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam) until reduced to 6 fen, strain, add half a spoonful of honey, boil for two or three boils, and take warm at any time.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by cough with rapid breathing, irritability, and anorexia: Zi Wan San Powder.
Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma, radix and soil removed), Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, sliced), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted until yellow), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, soaked in decoction to remove white pith and dried), each 1 liang; Deng Xin Cao (Junci Medulla, 1 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 0.5 fen of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) and 3 dates until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Another formula.
Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, 3 fen), Kuan Dong Hua (Flos Farfarae, 3 fen), Chi Fu Ling (Poria with Red Wood, 3 fen), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix, 3 fen, sliced), Qing Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, 0.5 liang, soaked in decoction to remove white pith and dried).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 0.5 fen of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by phlegm-toxin stagnation in the chest and diaphragm, disharmony of Lung Qi, cough, and headache: Kuan Dong Hua San Powder.
Kuan Dong Hua (Flos Farfarae), Ma Huang (Ephedrae Herba, roots and joints removed), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted until slightly yellow), Qian Hu (Peucedani Radix, radix removed), Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, sliced), Zi Wan (Asteris Radix et Rhizoma, radix and soil removed), each 1 liang.

Ma Dou Ling (Aristolochiae Fructus, 0.5 liang), Zi Su Ye (Perillae Folium, 1 liang), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix, 0.5 liang, radix removed), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, radix removed), Sang Gen Bai Pi (Mori Cortex, 1 liang, sliced), Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, honey-fried until slightly red and sliced), Da Fu Pi (Arecae Pericarpium, 1 liang, sliced), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, 0.5 liang, roasted until slightly yellow), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 1 liang, soaked in decoction to remove white pith and dried), Wu Wei Zi (Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus, 3 fen).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 0.5 fen of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens) until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by external contraction of wind-cold, rebellious phlegm, cough, and loss of appetite: Ma Huang San Powder.
Ma Huang (Ephedrae Herba, roots and joints removed), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, soaked in decoction to remove white pith and dried), Qian Hu (Peucedani Radix, radix removed), each 1 liang; Ban Xia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, soaked in decoction seven times to remove slipperiness), Xi Xin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma), each 0.5 liang.
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose, boil with one zhong of water plus 5 cun of scallion white, 0.5 fen of Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and 3 dates until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm at any time.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by Lung damage, cough, panting, and anorexia: Bei Mu San Powder.
Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted until slightly yellow), Lu Jiao Jiao (Deer Horn Glue, crushed and stir-fried until yellow and dry), Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix), Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogonis Tuber, heart removed), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, radix removed), Huang Qi (Astragali Radix, 1 liang, sliced).
Pulverize the above ingredients finely. Take 2 qian at any time, mixed with rice porridge drink.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by qi stagnation, cough, chest discomfort, and decreased food intake: Zi Su San Powder.
Zi Su Ye (Perillae Folium), Chi Fu Ling (Poria with Red Wood), Chen Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, soaked in decoction to remove white pith and dried), Qian Hu (Peucedani Radix, radix removed), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted until slightly yellow), each 1 liang; Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, honey-fried until slightly red and sliced).
Pulverize the above ingredients finely. Take 2 qian at any time, mixed with rice porridge drink.

Formula for treating pregnancy complicated by emaciation due to cough and inability to eat: Bie Jia Wan Pill.
Bie Jia (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum, coated with vinegar and fried until yellow, skirt removed), Bei Mu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted until slightly yellow), Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, radix removed), Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Chai Hu (Bupleuri Radix, radix removed), Jie Geng (Platycodonis Radix, radix removed), each 1 liang.
Pulverize the above ingredients into fine powder, mix with refined honey, and pound 200-300 times. Form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 30 pills at any time, washed down with rice porridge drink.

Formula for treating pregnancy cough.
Take a cart axle, heat it until red, and throw it into wine. Wait for it to cool and drink it; this is effective.
