牛皮胶
上以浆水同入瓷器内。慢煨令化。浓涂之立瘥。
凡是小儿被热水浇泼或被火烧伤的。刚开始时千万不要用冷的东西，以及井下的泥土、尿泥，并用蜂蜜涂抹覆盖患处。因为热气遇到冷物，（会导致热毒内陷或加重损伤）。
治疗小儿突然被热水浇泼或火烧，痛苦剧烈的“大麻子膏”方：
大麻子（一合） 柏白皮（一两） 白芷（一两） 甘草（一两） 栀子仁（一两）
以上药材切碎，用一斤猪脂，煎煮白芷至颜色变黄为度，用绵布过滤去除药渣，盛放在瓷器中，待冷却后，涂抹在疮口上。
治疗小儿被热水浇泼或火烧导致皮肤发红疼痛的“生地黄膏”方：
生地黄（一两） 柏白皮（二两） 苦竹叶（一两） 甘草（一两）
以上药材切碎，用一斤猪脂，煎煮至地黄色变黑为度，用绵布过滤去除药渣，盛放在不透水的容器中，待冷却后，每天涂抹三次。
治疗小儿火烧疮溃烂败坏的，宜用“羊髓膏”方：
羊髓（一斤） 柏白皮（一两） 生地黄（一两） 蛇衔草（一两） 黄芩（一两） 栀子仁（一两）
以上药材切碎。先在锅中炼羊髓使其沸腾，然后加入其余药材共同煎煮，待地黄色变黑为度，用绵布过滤去除药渣，倒入（容器中）。
治疗小儿汤火疮的“白膏”方：
白松脂 白蔹 白芨 定粉（各半两） 乳香（一分） 清油（二合） 黄蜡（一两）
以上药材捣碎过筛成粉末。先将油放入瓷锅内，用慢火熬出香味，下入黄蜡使其熔化，接着下入各种药末，不停地搅拌熬制。
又一方：
柏叶（一两） 栀子仁（一两） 胡粉（半两）
以上药材捣碎过筛成粉末。用五合羊髓，放入铛中，在微火上融化它，然后下入各种药末，不停地搅拌熬制成膏。
又一方：
白矾（二两烧成灰） 栀子仁〔三四枚烧至烟尽为止〕
以上药材细细研磨成散剂，用鸡蛋清调和后涂抹患处。
又一方：
柏白皮（半斤切碎）
以上用猪脂五两，放入铫子内，与柏白皮共同煎煮，至焦黄色时取下，用绵布过滤去除药渣，纳入瓷盒中，待冷却后涂抹。
又一方：
取丹参捣成粉末，用羊脂调和敷于患处。
又一方：
死鼠（一枚）
以上用清油一升，煎煮至黑焦，去除药渣，每天涂抹三次。
又一方：
取榆白皮，嚼烂后涂抹患处。
又一方：
取栀子仁，用水浸泡取汁，每天涂抹五六次。
又一方：
取菰蒋根，去掉泥土烧成灰，细细研磨，用鸡蛋清调和后涂抹。
又一方：
柳白皮（切碎半斤）
以上用猪脂一斤，混合在一起，煎煮直到柳皮变黑，去除药渣放凉，每天涂抹三次。
又一方：
取雄黄粉末，用醋调和后涂抹。
又一方：
取浮萍草捣成粉末，用温水调和后涂抹。
又一方：
刚被汤火所伤时，立即取狗毛剪碎，用消胶调和它，遍涂在疮口上，用帛布包裹封住。一次包扎直至结痂脱落，不再（需要处理）。
又一方：
取新牛粪，取其汁液涂抹患处。
又一方：
将粟米炒至焦黑，投入水中，再捞出来，烂研后敷之有效。
又一方：
将黍米煮粥，用鸡蛋清调和后敷之。
又一方：
取乳头上的香水（乳汁），研磨后，薄薄地涂抹。
治疗小儿突然被热水浇泼的方子：
牛皮胶
以上与浆水一同放入瓷器内，慢火煨至熔化，浓涂之后立刻痊愈。
Whenever a child is scalded by hot water or burned by fire, one must be cautious not to apply cold substances initially, nor well mud, urine mud, or honey for application. This is because the heat encountering cold [may cause further complications].
For treating children who have suddenly been scalded by hot water or burned, suffering severely, use the *Damaizi Gao* (Cannabis Seed Ointment) formula:
Cannabis Fructus (Damaizi, 大麻子) - 1 he; Cortex Platycladi (Bai Baidi, 柏白皮) - 1 liang; Radix Angelicae Dahuricae (Baizhi, 白芷) - 1 liang; Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草) - 1 liang; Semen Gossypii (Zizhiren, 栀子仁) - 1 liang.
Finely chop the above herbs. Boil with 1 jin of lard until Baizhi turns yellow. Filter through silk cloth to remove dregs, store in a porcelain vessel, and let cool. Apply to the wound.
For treating children whose skin is red and painful due to scalding or burning, use the *Shengdihuang Gao* (Rehmannia Root Ointment) formula:
Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Dihuang, 生地黄) - 1 liang; Cortex Platycladi (Bai Baidi, 柏白皮) - 2 liang; Folium Bambusae (Kuzhuye, 苦竹叶) - 1 liang; Radix Glycyrrhizae (Gancao, 甘草) - 1 liang.
Finely chop the above herbs. Boil with 1 jin of lard until Sheng Dihuang turns black. Filter through silk cloth to remove dregs, store in a non-porous container, and let cool. Apply three times daily.
For treating children with ulcerated and ruined burns, use the *Yangsui Gao* (Sheep Marrow Ointment) formula:
Marrow Ovis Aries (Yang Sui, 羊髓) - 1 jin; Cortex Platycladi (Bai Baidi, 柏白皮) - 1 liang; Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Sheng Dihuang, 生地黄) - 1 liang; Herba Siegesbeckiae (She Xian Cao, 蛇衔草) - 1 liang; Radix Scutellariae (Huang Qin, 黄芩) - 1 liang; Semen Gossypii (Zizhiren, 栀子仁) - 1 liang.
Finely chop the above herbs. First, melt Yang Sui in a pot until boiling, then add the remaining herbs and boil together until Sheng Dihuang turns black. Filter through silk cloth to remove dregs, and pour into [a container].
For treating pediatric scald and burn wounds, use the *Baigao* (White Ointment) formula:
Resina Pini (Bai Songzhi, 白松脂); Radix Pleurospermi (Bailian, 白蔹); Bulbus Bletillae (Baiji, 白芨); Plumbum Acetatum (Dingfen, 定粉) - each 0.5 liang; Resina Frankincense (Ruxiang, 乳香) - 1 fen; Clear Oil (Qingyou, 清油) - 2 he; Cera Flava (Huangla, 黄蜡) - 1 liang.
Pulverize the above herbs. Heat the oil in a porcelain pot over low flame until fragrant, add Huangla until melted, then add the herb powders, stirring continuously while boiling.
Another prescription:
Folium Platycladi (Baiye, 柏叶) - 1 liang; Semen Gossypii (Zizhiren, 栀子仁) - 1 liang; Plumbum Acetatum (Hufen, 胡粉) - 0.5 liang.
Pulverize the above herbs. Melt 5 he of sheep marrow in a pan over low heat, then add the herb powders, stirring continuously until an ointment forms.
Another prescription:
Alumen (Bai Fan, 白矾) - 2 liang (calcined to ash); Semen Gossypii (Zizhiren, 栀子仁) [3-4 pieces calcined until smoke ceases].
Grind the above herbs finely into powder. Mix with egg white and apply.
Another prescription:
Cortex Platycladi (Bai Baidi, 柏白皮) - 0.5 jin (finely chopped).
Boil with 5 liang of lard in a dingzi until charred yellow. Filter through silk cloth to remove dregs, store in a porcelain box, and let cool before applying.
Another prescription:
Pulverize Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae (Danshen, 丹参), mix with sheep fat, and apply.
Another prescription:
Boil black beans to make a concentrated decoction, let cool, and apply. It also helps eliminate scars.
Another prescription:
Dead mouse (one piece).
Boil in 1 sheng of clear oil until black and charred. Remove dregs, apply three times daily.
Another prescription:
Chew Cortex Ulmi (Yu Baidi, 榆白皮) thoroughly and apply.
Another prescription:
Soak Semen Gossypii (Zizhiren, 栀子仁) in water to extract juice, apply five to six times daily.
Another prescription:
Remove soil from Rhizoma Zizaniae (Gujianggen, 菰蒋根), calcine to ash, grind finely, mix with egg white, and apply.
Another prescription:
Cortex Salicis (Liu Baidi, 柳白皮) - 0.5 jin (finely chopped).
Mix with 1 jin of lard, boil until willow bark turns black, remove dregs, let cool, and apply three times daily.

Pulverize Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), mix with vinegar, and apply.
Another prescription:
Pulverize Herba Lemnae (Fupingcao, 浮萍草), mix with warm water, and apply.

Immediately after injury from scalding or burning, cut dog hair into small pieces, mix with gelatin, apply evenly to the wound, and cover with cloth. Keep covered until the scab falls off, then no further treatment is needed.
Another prescription:
Take fresh cow dung, extract its juice, and apply.
Another prescription:
Roast Setaria Italica (Sumi, 粟米) until charred, immerse in water, retrieve, mash thoroughly, and apply. Effective.
Another prescription:
Cook Porridge Millet (Shumi, 黍米) into porridge, mix with egg white, and apply.
Another prescription:
Extract breast milk (Naitouxiangshui, 乳头香水), grind, and apply thinly.
For treating children suddenly scalded by hot water:
Colla Corii Bovinis (Niujiao, 牛皮胶).
Place with sour rice wash water in a porcelain vessel, warm slowly over low heat until melted. Apply thickly; recovery is immediate.
