肺脏内有郁积的热邪，加之风邪从外部侵袭肌肉。热邪与风邪相互交结，毒邪之气潜伏滞留于腠理（皮肤纹理及汗孔），与卫气（运行于体表、具有防御功能的气）相互搏结。若不能治愈肺脏中久积的风毒，皮肤上的白癜风就会持续不止。
苦参散方：
苦参（三两，锉碎）、露蜂房（二两，微炒）、松脂（二两）、附子（二两，炮裂后去皮和脐）、栀子仁（二两）。
以上药物，捣碎过细罗成为散剂。每次服用不拘时间，用温酒调服二钱。宜常吃萝卜菜，不要食用鸡肉和雀肉。忌食猪肉。
治疗身体顽固性麻木，以及生成白癜风，适宜服用此乌蛇散方：
乌梢蛇（三两，酒浸后去皮骨，炙至微黄）、白僵蚕（二两，微炒）、桂心（半两）、独活（二两）、天麻（二两）、枳实（二两，麸炒）。
以上药物，捣碎过细罗成为散剂。每次服用不拘时间，用温酒调服二钱。
治疗白癜风，遍身斑点瘙痒，白蔹散方：

以上药物，捣碎过细罗成为细散剂。每次在饭前，用温酒调服二钱。
又一方：

以上药物，细细锉碎。用猪脂三升煎炼，观察药料颜色焦黄时去掉药渣。待冷却后，盛放在瓷盒中。涂抹于风癜（白癜风）患处，直至痊愈。
又一方：
黑油麻（二升，九蒸九晒后去皮）、桃仁（五两，汤浸去皮尖及双仁者，麸炒至微黄）、生干地黄（五两）。
以上药物，捣碎过细罗成为散剂。每次服用，用蜜水调服三钱，每日两次。
又一方：
白矾（半两）、硫黄（半两）。
以上药物共同研磨成粉状，用醋调和后涂抹患处，即可痊愈。
治疗白癜风如雪色方：
硫黄（一两半）、香墨（一两半）。
以上药物共同研磨成粉状。先用生布摩擦患处使其轻微破损，用醋调和药粉如膏状涂抹。使患处起疮反应，未愈则继续涂抹。
又一方：
附子（二两，去皮和脐，生用）、天雄（二两，去皮和脐，生用）、川乌头（二两，去皮和脐，生用）。
以上药物，细细锉碎。用猪脂二斤，煎至附子颜色焦黄，去掉药渣。待冷却后，盛放在瓷盒中。涂抹于风癜患处，直至痊愈。
治疗白癜风方：
鸡蛋（两枚，带壳用一斗米醋浸泡七天，观察蛋壳变软即取出，只用蛋清）用来调和以下药物：硫黄（半两，细研）、附子（半两，炮裂去皮脐）。
以上药物，捣碎过筛令其细碎，加入一分米粉，互相混合，研磨均匀细腻。用鸡蛋清调和后涂抹患处。
治疗白癜风方：
红灰（五斤）、茄子根茎（三斤）、苍耳根茎（五斤）。
以上药物，一起晒干后烧成灰。用水一斗，煎汤淋取汁液。再放入铛内煎制成膏状，用瓷盒盛装。另外用好醋（适量）调和使用。
治疗白癜风，胡桃涂方：
初生的青胡桃（五颗）、硫黄（半两，细研）、白矾（一分，细研）。
以上药物，全部研磨成膏状。每日涂抹三到四次，痊愈为止。
又一方：
萝藦白汁。
先用生布摩擦患处，使其轻微破损后涂抹。不超过三次即可痊愈。
又一方：
生胡桃油。
以上一味药，每次服用，用温酒调服半合，每日两次。
又一方：
楸木白皮（五斤）。
以上细细锉碎，用水五斗，煎取五升，滤去药渣。再置于慢火上，重新煎煮如糊膏状。用不透水的容器收存。每次取膏涂抹患处。
又一方：
驴尿、生姜汁。
以上药物，等分混合，清洗擦拭患处。
又一方：
桑柴灰（二斗）。
以上药物，在大甑内蒸，使蒸汽溜出，取釜中的汤淋取汁液。趁热洗涤患处，不超过五六次即可痊愈。
The lungs harbor stagnant heat. Additionally, wind pathogens invade the muscles from the exterior. Heat and wind intertwine; the qi of toxic pathogens lingers and remains in the couli (interstices of the skin and hair follicles), battling with Wei Qi (Defensive Qi). If the long-accumulated wind-toxin in the lung organs is not resolved, vitiligo on the skin will persist.
Kushen San Formula:
Sophorae Radix (Kushen) (3 liang, crushed), Vespa Nidus (Lufengfang) (2 liang, slightly stir-fried), Pinus Resin (Songzhi) (2 liang), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) (2 liang, processed until cracked, peel and umbilicus removed), Gardeniae Semen (Zhizi Ren) (2 liang).
Crush the above ingredients and sieve them into a fine powder. Take 2 qian at any time, mixed with warm wine. It is advisable to frequently eat radish greens; avoid eating chicken and sparrow meat. Pork is contraindicated.
For treating body numbness and the onset of vitiligo, it is suitable to take this Wushe San Formula:
Agkistrodon Halys (Wushe) (3 liang, soaked in wine, skin and bones removed, roasted until slightly yellow), Bombyx Batryticatus (Baijiangcan) (2 liang, slightly stir-fried), Cinnamomi Cortex (Guixin) (0.5 liang), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo) (2 liang), Gastrodia Rhizoma (Tianma) (2 liang), Aurantii Fructus Immaturus (Zhishi) (2 liang, bran-stir-fried).
Crush the above ingredients and sieve them into a fine powder. Take 2 qian at any time, mixed with warm wine.
For treating vitiligo with widespread spots and itching, Bailian San Formula:
Ampelopsis Radix (Bailian) (3 liang), Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Tianxiong) (3 liang, processed until cracked, peel and umbilicus removed), Phytolaccae Radix (Shanglu) (1 liang), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin) (2 liang), Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Ganjiang) (2 liang, processed until cracked and crushed), Rhododendri Mollis Flos (Zhi Zhu) (2 liang).
Sieve the above ingredients into a fine powder. Before meals, take 2 qian mixed with warm wine.
Another prescription:
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) (2 liang, peel and umbilicus removed), Campsis Radix (Lingxiaohua) (1 liang), Aconiti Radix (Chuanwutou) (2 liang, peel and umbilicus removed), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) (2 liang, radix head removed), Vespa Nidus (Lufengfang) (1 liang, slightly stir-fried).
Finely crush the above ingredients. Fry in 3 sheng of porcine fat until the herbs turn dark yellow. Remove the dregs. Let cool and store in a porcelain jar. Rub onto the vitiligo lesions until healed.
Another prescription:
Sesami Fructus Niger (Heiyouma) (2 sheng, steamed and sun-dried nine times, peel removed), Persicae Semen (Taoren) (5 liang, soaked in water, peel and pointed end removed, bran-stir-fried until slightly yellow), Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Shengshengdi) (5 liang).
Crush the above ingredients and sieve them into a fine powder. Take 3 qian mixed with honey-water each time, twice daily.
Another prescription:
Alumen (Baijian) (0.5 liang), Sulfur (Liuhuang) (0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients together into a powder. Mix with vinegar and apply topically. This will lead to recovery.
Formula for Vitiligo Snow-Colored Lesions:
Sulfur (Liuhuang) (1.5 liang), Ink Stick (Xiangmo) (1.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients together into a powder. First, rub the lesion lightly with raw cloth to cause minor abrasion. Mix the powder with vinegar to form a paste and apply. This may induce blistering/cracking; if not healed, continue application.
Another prescription:
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) (2 liang, peel and umbilicus removed, used raw), Aconiti Kusnezoffii Radix (Tianxiong) (2 liang, peel and umbilicus removed, used raw), Aconiti Radix (Chuanwutou) (2 liang, peel and umbilicus removed, used raw).
Finely crush the above ingredients. Fry in 2 jin of porcine fat until the Fuzi turns dark yellow. Remove the dregs. Let cool and store in a porcelain jar. Rub onto the vitiligo lesions until healed.
Formula for Vitiligo:
Galli Oviformis Ovipellis (Jizi) (2 eggs, soak whole with shell in 1 dou of rice vinegar for seven days until the shell becomes soft, then remove and use only the albumen) to mix with the following: Sulfur (Liuhuang) (0.5 liang, finely ground), Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Fuzi) (0.5 liang, processed until cracked, peel and umbilicus removed).
Pulverize the above ingredients finely. Add one part rice flour, mix thoroughly, and grind until smooth. Use egg white to mix and apply topically.
Formula for Vitiligo:
Red Ash (Honghui) (5 jin), Solani Tuber (Qiezi Genjing) (3 jin), Xanthii Fructus Radix et Caulis (Canger Genjing) (5 jin).
Dry all ingredients together and burn to ash. Pour 1 dou of water over the ash to extract the juice. Boil the juice in a pan until it forms a paste. Store in a porcelain jar. Mix with good vinegar as needed.
Walnut Application for Vitiligo:
Young Green Walnut (Qinghetao) (5 pieces), Sulfur (Liuhuang) (0.5 liang, finely ground), Alumen (Baijian) (1 fen, finely ground).
Grind all ingredients into a paste. Apply three to four times daily until healed.
Another prescription:
Juice of the white inner bark of Metaplexis Japonica (Luobai Bai Zhi).
First, rub the area with raw cloth to cause slight abrasion, then apply. It should heal within three applications.
Another prescription:
Oil from Raw Walnuts (Shenghetao You).
Take half he (a unit of volume) mixed with warm wine, twice daily.
Another prescription:
White Bark of Catalpa Tree (Qiubai Pi) (5 jin).
Finely crush and decoct in 5 dou of water to obtain 5 sheng. Filter out the dregs. Re-boil over low heat until it resembles a paste. Store in a non-porous container. Apply the paste topically.
Another prescription:
Donkey Urine (Lv Niao), Ginger Juice (Shengjiang Zhi).
Mix equal parts. Wash and wipe the affected area.
Another prescription:
Ash from Mulberry Wood (Sangchai Hui) (2 dou).
Steam the ash in a large steamer, collect the condensate/drip from the pot, and use the liquid to wash the area while hot. Healing occurs within five or six washes.
