花翳初发的时候，眼中会间歇性疼痛，流泪，眼睛发红且干涩，黑睛上忽然生出白色翳膜，形状像枣花，排列得像鱼鳞一样。
这是治疗眼睛生出白色翳膜，点点状如花朵的方剂：宜服用羚羊角散。

以上药材，共同研磨成粉末。每次用铜箸取如麻子大小的量，点入眼中。

For treating persistent corneal pannus, it is advisable to take Huangqin San (Scutellaria Powder).
Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis) [crushed], Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) [whiskers removed], Lingyangjiao Xie (Antelope Horn Shavings) [each 1 liang], Xijiao Xie (Rhinocerotis Cornu Shavings) [0.5 liang], Difuzi (Kochiae Fructus) [0.3 liang], Weirui (Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma) [1 liang].
Crush the above herbs into coarse powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1 zhong of water and 7 bamboo leaves, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm after meals.
For treating corneal pannus, it is advisable to take Ruiren San (Prunus Persica Seed Powder).
Ruiren (Persicae Semen) [0.3 liang], Juemingzi (Cassiae Semen) [0.3 liang], Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma) [1 liang, whiskers removed], Chaihu (Bupleuri Radix) [1 liang, sprouts removed], Weirui (Polygonati Odorati Rhizoma) [1 liang], Chuan Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) [3 liang].
Crush the above herbs into coarse powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add 1 zhong of water, decoct until reduced to 6 fen, strain, and take warm after meals.
For treating corneal pannus invading the cornea, causing photophobia, it is advisable to apply Mayaxiao San (Sal Petrosae Powder).
Mayaxiao (Natrii Sulfas Crystallisatus) [0.5 liang], Huanglian Mo (Coptidis Rhizoma Powder) [1 liang], Sha (Realgar) [0.5 fen], Lvhua Mo (Aloe Juice Powder) [1 fen], Zhenzhu Mo (Pearl Powder) [1 fen], Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) [0.5 fen].
Grind the above herbs together into fine powder. Using a copper applicator, take an amount the size of a hemp seed and apply to the eye.
For treating corneal pannus, use Longnao San (Borneol Powder).
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) [1 qian], Chuan Puxiao (Natrii Sulfatis Crystallisatus) [0.5 liang].
Grind the above herbs together into fine powder. Using a copper applicator, take an amount the size of a soybean and apply to the eye.
For treating corneal pannus, it is advisable to apply Puxiao San (Sodium Sulfate Powder).
Chuan Puxiao (Natrii Sulfatis Crystallisatus) [0.5 liang, stir-fried until cooked], Zhusha (Cinnabaris) [1 fen, finely ground and washed with water], Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) [0.5 qian, finely ground], Wzeiyu Gu (Sepiae Endoconcha) [0.5 liang, finely ground], Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) [1 liang].
First, crush Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) and Huanglian (Coptidis Rhizoma). Decoct in 3 zhan of water to obtain 1 zhan of concentrated liquid. Strain, then boil in sunlight until dry. Then mix and grind with the other medicines.
For treating corneal pannus with dryness and pain, it is advisable to apply Longnao Gao (Borneol Ointment).
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) [0.5 qian], Shexiang (Moschus) [0.5 qian], Nifen (Calomelas) [2 qian], Huanglian Mo (Coptidis Rhizoma Powder) [0.5 liang], Ruiren (Persicae Semen) [1 liang, soaked in hot water, skin removed, finely ground], Jingyan (Halitum) [a small amount].
Finely grind the above herbs. First, melt 2 liang of wild camel fat in a porcelain bowl by heating and filtering. Mix the above medicines with the melted fat to form an ointment. Using a copper applicator, take an appropriate amount and apply to the eye.
