以上药物，捣碎过罗制成末，炼蜜调和捣三二百杵，制成小豆大小的丸剂。饭前，用温酒送服二丸。
治疗膈气、痰结气逆、不能进食，使用半夏丸方。

The condition of Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi) with Phlegm Knotting arises from the obstruction of Qi and blood vessels, leading to the blockage of Jin Ye (Body Fluids). Consequently, ingested water accumulates between the chest and diaphragm, failing to dissipate, and thus condenses into Phlegm.
To treat Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi), Phlegm Knotting, Qi Stagnation manifesting as loss of appetite, heaviness and oppression in the shoulders and back, and vexatious pain in the four limbs, use the Chifuling San (Red Poria Powder) formula.
Chifuling (Poria Cocos, 1 liang) Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum, 0.5 liang, washed seven times with boiling water to remove acridity) Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex Ramulus, 3 liang) Dafupi (Arecae Pericarpium, 1 liang, chopped) Zhike (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, 1 liang, stir-fried with bran) Qianhu (Peucedani Radix, 0.5 liang)
Crush and sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water and half a fen of fresh ginger. Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Remove the dregs. Take at any time, slightly warm.
To treat Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi), Phlegm Knotting in the chest, indigestion, abdominal distension with borborygmus, use the Dafupi San (Arecae Pericarpium Powder) formula.

Coarsely sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water and half a fen of fresh ginger. Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Remove the dregs. Take at any time.
To treat Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi), Phlegm Knotting in the chest, stuffiness and obstruction preventing food intake, use the Xuanfuhua San (Inulae Flos Powder) formula.

Yuanhua (Genkwa Flos, 1 liang, mixed with vinegar and stir-fried until dry) Badou (Crotonis Fructus, 0.5 liang, skin and heart removed, ground, wrapped in paper, pressed to remove oil) Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex Ramulus, 1 liang) Xingren (Armeniacae Semen Amarum, 1 liang, soaked in water, skin and pointed ends removed, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow)
Grind the above herbs into fine powder. Mix with refined honey and pound for three to two hundred strokes. Form pills the size of mung beans. Before meals, take two pills washed down with warm wine.
To treat Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi), Phlegm Knotting with rebellious Qi, and inability to eat, use the Banxia Wan (Pinelliae Rhizoma Pill) formula.
Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma Preparatum, 1 liang, washed seven times with boiling water to remove acridity) Chenpi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, 3 fen, soaked in water, white pith removed, dried) Shuyu (Dioscoreae Rhizoma, 1 liang) Ganjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma, 0.5 liang, processed)
Grind the above herbs into fine powder. Add Huangdan (Lithargyrum) and grind evenly. Mix with boiled jujube flesh to form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Before meals, take with Ginseng and Fresh Ginger decoction.
To treat Ge Qi (Diaphragmatic Qi), Phlegm Knotting in the chest, rebellious Qi preventing food and drink intake, use this formula.

Finely sieve the above herbs into a powder. Grind in the Yuliren (Pruni Semen) until uniform. Before meals, decoct seven grains of Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper) in water, mix with one qian of the powder, and take.
