治缠喉风急喉闭。
胆矾（二钱半） 白僵蚕（少，去丝嘴，半两）
上为细末，每用少许，吹入喉中。
上用巴豆去壳，以纸包巴豆肉，用竹管奈出巴豆油在纸上，将油纸作纸捻，点灯吹灭，
以烟熏左右鼻孔中，口鼻涎流，牙关开矣。
治一切积热，咽喉肿痛，口舌生疮，胸中烦躁，咽物妨碍，或喉闭壅塞，水浆不下，天
行时疫，昏愦，并皆治之。
方见积热门。

片脑（半字） 硼砂（一钱） 辰砂（三钱） 马牙硝 寒水石（各二钱）
上为细末，研匀，每用一字，掺于舌上，津液咽之。
治风痰上壅，咽喉肿痛，吞吐如有所碍。
苦桔梗（一两） 甘草（炙，二两半）
上作一服，水二盅，煎至一盅，食远服。
治缠喉风，咽喉肿痛，及上膈壅热，痰涎不利。
雄黄 郁金（各二钱半） 巴豆（去皮油，十四粒）
上为细末，醋糊和丸，如绿豆大，每服七丸，用茶清送下，吐出顽痰，即愈。
治风热喉闭，及缠喉风。

上为细末，每用少许，吹入喉中。
治风痰壅盛，咽喉肿痛，水谷不下，牙关紧急。
雄黄（细研） 白矾（飞） 藜芦（去芦） 猪牙皂角（去皮，炒黄）
上各等分为细末，每用一字，嗅入鼻内，去痰为愈。
治疗缠喉风（一种以咽喉红肿疼痛、呼吸困难为特征的急症）和急喉闭（咽喉闭塞不通的急症）。

将上述药材研磨成细末，每次取少许，吹入喉咙中。
取巴豆去壳，用纸张包裹巴豆肉，用竹管挤压出巴豆油滴在纸上，将沾有油的纸搓成纸捻，点燃后吹灭明火，
利用产生的烟雾熏蒸左右鼻孔，待口鼻分泌涎液流出，牙关自然张开即可。
治疗各种积热引起的咽喉肿痛、口舌生疮、胸中烦躁、吞咽困难，或者喉闭壅塞导致水浆难以下咽，以及流行性时疫导致的昏迷不醒，均能治疗。
方剂见“积热”门。

片脑（即冰片，半字） 硼砂（一钱） 辰砂（三钱） 马牙硝 寒水石（各二钱）
将上述药材研磨成细末，混合均匀，每次取一字量的药粉，撒在舌上，随津液吞下。
治疗三焦热盛引起的口舌生疮、咽喉肿塞、神志昏闷。
方剂见“口舌”门。
治疗风痰上涌引起的咽喉肿痛、吞咽时有梗阻感。
苦桔梗（一两） 甘草（炙，二两半）
以上为一剂的量，用水两盅，煎煮至一盅，饭后服用。
治疗缠喉风、咽喉肿痛，以及上膈壅热、痰涎不利。
雄黄 郁金（各二钱半） 巴豆（去皮去油，十四粒）
将上述药材研磨成细末，用醋糊调和制成丸药，大小如绿豆，每次服用七丸，用茶水送服，吐出顽固痰涎后即可痊愈。
治疗风热导致的喉闭，以及缠喉风。
焰硝（即火硝，一两半） 硼砂（半两） 片脑（一字） 白僵蚕（一分）
将上述药材研磨成细末，每次取少许，吹入喉咙中。
治疗风痰壅盛引起的咽喉肿痛、水谷无法下咽、牙关紧闭。
雄黄（细研） 白矾（飞炼） 藜芦（去芦头） 猪牙皂角（去皮，炒黄）
以上药材各等分研磨成细末，每次取一字量的药粉，吸入鼻内，祛除痰涎即可痊愈。
Treats Chanhou Feng (acute wind-stuffiness of the throat, characterized by severe swelling and difficulty breathing) and Ji Hou Bi (acute closure of the throat).
Danfan (Alum, 2.5 qian) Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, a small amount, remove silk mouth, 0.5 liang)
Grind the above into a fine powder. For each use, take a small amount and blow it into the throat.
Take Baiduo (Croton Seed), remove the shell, wrap the kernel in paper, and squeeze out the oil using a bamboo tube onto the paper. Roll the oil-soaked paper into a thin roll (paper wick), light it, and extinguish the flame.
Use the smoke to fumigate both nostrils. When saliva flows from the mouth and nose, the jaw will relax and open.
Treats all types of accumulated heat causing sore throat, swelling of the tongue and mouth, restlessness in the chest, difficulty swallowing, or throat blockage preventing the intake of water and food. It also treats coma caused by epidemic febrile diseases. All these conditions are treated by this method.

Pian Nao (Borneol, half zi) Pengsha (Borax, 1 qian) Chensha (Cinnabar, 3 qian) Mayaxiao (Saltpeter) Hanshuishi (Aragonite, 2 qian each)
Grind the above into a fine powder and mix evenly. For each use, take an amount equivalent to one zi, sprinkle it on the tongue, and swallow with saliva.
Treats excessive heat in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner) causing sores on the tongue and mouth, throat swelling and blockage, and mental confusion.

Treats wind-phlegm rising upward causing sore throat, swelling, and a sensation of obstruction during swallowing.
Kujiegeng (Platycodon Root, 1 liang) Gancao (Licorice Root, roasted, 2.5 liang)
This constitutes one dose. Add two zhong of water, decoct until one zhong remains, and take after meals.
Treats heat in the Spleen and Lung causing deficiency-fire disturbing upward, leading to sore throat and swelling.

Treats Chanhou Feng, sore throat and swelling, as well as upper jiao heat stagnation and difficult expectoration of phlegm-saliva.
Xionghuang (Realgar) Yujin (Curcuma Aromatica Rhizome, 2.5 qian each) Baiduo (Croton Seed, peeled and de-oiled, 14 grains)
Grind the above into a fine powder, mix with vinegar paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take seven pills per dose, washed down with clear tea. Vomiting out stubborn phlegm leads to recovery.
Treats wind-heat Hou Bi (throat closure) and Chanhou Feng.
Yanxiao (Saltpeter, 1.5 liang) Pengsha (Borax, 0.5 liang) Pian Nao (Borneol, one zi) Baijiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, one fen)
Grind the above into a fine powder. For each use, take a small amount and blow it into the throat.
Treats excessive wind-phlegm stagnation causing sore throat, swelling, inability to ingest food and drink, and trismus (lockjaw).
Xionghuang (Realgar, finely ground) BaiFan (Alum, refined) Lilv (Veratrum Root, remove rhizome) Zhuya Zaojiao (Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit, peeled and stir-fried until yellow)
Grind equal parts of each into a fine powder. For each use, take an amount equivalent to one zi, insufflate into the nose. Removing phlegm leads to recovery.
