〔大〕肾主腰足，因劳伤损动其经，虚则风冷乘之则腰痛，冷气乘虚入腹则腹痛，故
令腰腹相引而痛，其痛不止，多动胎气。妇人肾以系胞，妊娠而腰痛甚者，则胎堕也。
〔薛〕前证若外邪所伤，用独活寄生汤。（杂病腰痛，）劳伤元气，用八珍、杜仲、砂仁、胶
艾。脾肾不足，以前药加白术、补骨脂。气血郁滞，用紫苏饮加桔梗、枳壳。肝火所动，
用小柴胡汤（伤寒少阳病。）加白术、枳壳、山栀。肝脾郁结，用归脾汤（杂病健忘。）加柴胡、枳壳。
一妊妇颈项强直，腰背作痛，此膀胱经风邪所致，用拔萃羌活汤（杂病腰痛。）一剂而愈；又
用独活寄生汤及八珍汤以祛邪固本而痊。
石山治一妇怀妊八月，尝病腰痛不能转侧，大便燥结，医用人参等补剂，痛益加。用
硝黄通利之药，燥结虽行而痛如故。汪诊之，脉稍洪近驶，曰血热血滞也。宜用四物加木
香、乳、没、黄柏、火麻仁，煎服四五帖，痛稍减，燥结润。复加发热面赤，或时恶寒，仍
用前方去乳香、没药，加柴胡、黄芩，服二帖而寒热除。又背心觉寒，腰痛复作。汪曰∶
血已利矣，可于前方加人参一钱，服之而安。
江篁南治一妇，妊娠三个月，因闪挫伤损，腰痛小腹疼，下血，内有热，用当归、白
术、黄芩上，熟地、川芎、防风、砂仁中，艾叶上，香附下，用水煎服。血止小腹不痛，去
砂仁。又用鸡子黄三个，以酒搅化，煮熟食之即痊。
通气散 治妊娠腰痛，状不可忍，此药神效。
破故纸（不以多少，）瓦上炒香熟为末，嚼胡桃肉一个，空心温酒下三钱。
五加皮散 治妊娠腰痛不可忍，或连胯痛。（先服此散。）
杜仲（四两，炒） 五加皮 阿胶（炙） 防风 金毛狗脊 川芎 白芍药 细辛 萆
（各三两） 杏仁（八十枚，去尖皮，麸炒） 一方有白茯苓，无白芍。
上 咀，以水九升，煮取二升，去滓下胶，作三服。
五加皮丸 治证同前。（服前散后，次服此丸。）
续断（炒） 杜仲（各二两半） 芎 独活（各三两） 五加皮 狗脊 萆 芍药 诃子肉（各

上为细末，炼蜜和丸如梧子大。空心酒下四十丸，日三。
疗触动胎以致腰痛背痛。

〔丹〕仁六嫂有胎腰痛。

上分四帖，水酒煎服。
疗妊娠气壅攻腰，痛不可忍，兼治腹痛。

大地黄丸 治产前后腰腹疼，一切血疼；兼治血气虚，四肢不举，骨髓热疼。
熟地黄（二两） 乌梅肉 当归（各一两）
上为细末，炼蜜丸如弹子大。每服一丸，空心白汤嚼下。
紫酒 治妊娠腰痛如折。
大黑豆二合，炒令香熟，以酒一大盏，煮取七分，去豆，空心顿服。
〔本〕治胎动腰痛抢心，或下血。取葱白不拘多少，浓煮汁饮之。
疗妊娠腰背痛反复不得。
鹿角（长六寸，烧令赤，酒中淬，再烧再淬，以角碎为度。） 取所淬酒饮之。
一方鹿角为末，酒服亦可。
卒腰痛不安，或腰痛胎转抢心，下血不止，用菖蒲汁酒一升服之。
妊娠卒胎动不安，或但腰痛，或胎转抢心，或下血不止。
艾叶一把，如鸡子大，以酒四升，煮取二升，分为二服良。
短剧苎根汤 疗损动胎腰，腹痛去血，胎动向下方。
生干地黄 苎根（各二两） 当归 芍药 阿胶 甘草（各一两）
上细切，以水六升，煮取二升，去滓纳胶煎烊，分温三服。忌海藻、芜荑。
【大】肾主管腰部和足部，因劳累损伤导致经络受损，正气虚弱时风冷之邪乘虚而入就会引起腰痛；寒气乘虚侵入腹部则引起腹痛，因此出现腰部与腹部相互牵引而痛的症状。如果疼痛持续不止，容易扰动胎气。妇女的肾通过系带连接胞宫（子宫），妊娠期间若腰痛剧烈，会导致流产。
【薛】上述病症如果是外邪侵袭所致，使用独活寄生汤。（针对杂病腰痛，）若是劳损耗伤元气，使用八珍汤、杜仲、砂仁、胶艾汤。脾肾不足，在上述药物基础上加白术、补骨脂。气血郁滞，使用紫苏饮加桔梗、枳壳。肝火扰动，使用小柴胡汤（伤寒少阳病证）加白术、枳壳、山栀。肝脾郁结，使用归脾汤（杂病健忘证）加柴胡、枳壳。
有一位孕妇颈项强直，腰背疼痛，这是膀胱经受风邪所致，服用拔萃羌活汤（杂病腰痛证）一剂后痊愈；之后又用独活寄生汤及八珍汤来祛除外邪、巩固根本而康复。
石山治疗一位怀孕八个月的妇人，曾患腰痛不能翻身转侧，大便干燥结硬，医生用人参等补益药剂，疼痛反而加重。改用硝黄（芒硝、大黄）通利泻下的药物，虽然燥结得以排出但疼痛依旧。汪诊察其脉象稍洪大且近于急促，说这是血热兼有血瘀。适宜用四物汤加木香、乳香、没药、黄柏、火麻仁，煎服四五帖，疼痛稍减，大便变得润泽。后来出现发热面赤，有时恶寒，仍用前方去掉乳香、没药，加柴胡、黄芩，服用两帖后寒热症状消除。接着感觉背心发冷，腰痛复发。汪说：血液已经通畅了，可以在前方加人参一钱，服用后便安稳了。
江篁南治疗一位妇人，怀孕三个月，因闪挫受伤，腰痛伴小腹疼痛，阴道出血，体内有热，用当归、白术、黄芩在上层，熟地、川芎、防风、砂仁在中层，艾叶在上层，香附在下层，用水煎服。血止住且小腹不痛后，去掉砂仁。又用三个鸡蛋黄，用酒搅匀，煮熟食用即痊愈。
破故纸（不论多少），在瓦上炒至香熟研为粉末，嚼食一个胡桃肉，空腹用温酒送服三钱。
五加皮散 治疗妊娠腰痛难以忍受，或牵连胯部疼痛。（先服用此散。）
杜仲（四两，炒制） 五加皮 阿胶（炙烤） 防风 金毛狗脊 川芎 白芍药 细辛 萆薢 （各三两） 杏仁（八十枚，去尖皮，麸炒） 另一版本有白茯苓，无白芍。
以上药材切碎，用水九升，煮取二升，滤去药渣，加入阿胶烊化，分三次服用。
五加皮丸 主治证候同上。（服用前散后，接着服用此丸。）

以上研为细末，炼蜜和丸如梧桐子大小。空腹用酒送服四十丸，每日三次。

【丹】仁六嫂怀孕时腰痛。
白术（四钱） 陈皮（三钱） 黄柏（炒制，二钱半） 人参 条芩 川芎 地黄 当归尾（各半两） 甘草（炙制，一钱）
以上分为四帖，用水和酒煎服。
以上细切，用水七升，煮取三升，滤去药渣，分三次温服。
大地黄丸 治疗产前后腰腹疼痛，一切血瘀疼痛；兼治血气虚弱，四肢无力抬举，骨髓热痛。
以上研为细末，炼蜜和丸如弹子大小。每次服用一丸，空腹用白开水送服并嚼碎。
大黑豆二合，炒至香熟，用一大盏酒，煮取七分，去掉豆粒，空腹一次性服下。
【本】治疗胎动腰痛冲击心胸，或阴道出血。取葱白不拘多少，浓煮汁液饮用。
治疗妊娠腰背痛反复发作不得缓解。
鹿角（长六寸，烧至通红，在酒中淬炼，再烧再淬，直到角碎裂为止。） 取所淬的酒饮用。
另一版本将鹿角研为粉末，用酒送服亦可。
突然腰痛不安，或腰痛胎位转动冲击心胸，阴道出血不止，用菖蒲汁加酒一升服用。
妊娠突然胎动不安，或仅腰痛，或胎位转动冲击心胸，或阴道出血不止。

短剧苎根汤 治疗损伤触动胎气致腰痛，腹痛去血，胎动向下方坠落。
以上细切，用水六升，煮取二升，滤去药渣，纳入阿胶煎至溶化，分三次温服。忌食海藻、芜荑。
[Da] The Kidney governs the waist and feet. When labor or injury damages the meridians, deficiency allows wind-cold pathogens to invade, causing lower back pain. If cold qi invades the abdomen due to deficiency, abdominal pain occurs. Consequently, the waist and abdomen are drawn together in pain. If this pain persists, it may disturb fetal vitality. In women, the Kidney connects to the uterus (Bao Gong) via ligaments. During pregnancy, severe lower back pain indicates a risk of miscarriage.
[Xue] For the aforementioned conditions caused by external pathogens, use Duhuo Jisheng Tang (Sanguisorba and Milkvetch Decoction). [For miscellaneous disease lower back pain], if Qi and Yuan energy are depleted by overexertion, use Bazhen Tang (Eight Treasure Decoction), Duzhong, Sharen, and Jiao Ai Tang. For Spleen and Kidney insufficiency, add Baizhu and Buguzhi to the previous formulas. For Qi and Blood stagnation, use Zisu Yin (Perilla Infusion) with Jiegeng and Zhike. For Liver Fire agitation, use Xiaochaihu Tang (Minor Bupleurum Decoction) [Shaoyang syndrome of Cold Damage] with Baizhu, Zhike, and Shanzhi. For Liver-Spleen depression and knotting, use Guipi Tang (Restore the Spleen Decoction) [insomnia and forgetfulness in miscellaneous diseases] with Chaihu and Zhike.
A pregnant woman presented with neck stiffness and pain in the waist and back, caused by Wind pathogen invading the Bladder Meridian. She was cured after one dose of Bcui Qianghuo Tang (Extraction of Extraordinary Efficacy Notopterygium Decoction) [lower back pain in miscellaneous diseases]; subsequently, she recovered using Duhuo Jisheng Tang and Bazhen Tang to dispel pathogens and consolidate the root.
Shishan treated a woman at eight months of pregnancy who suffered from lower back pain preventing her from turning or moving, accompanied by dry, hard stools. Physicians administered tonics such as Renshen (Ginseng), which exacerbated the pain. They then used purgatives containing Xiaoshi (Mirabilite) and Dahuang (Rhubarb); although the constipation resolved, the pain remained. Wang diagnosed a slightly surging and rapid pulse, indicating Heat in the Blood and Blood stasis. He prescribed Siwu Tang (Four Substances Decoction) with Muxiang, Rushiag (Frankincense), Moyao (Myrrh), Huangbai, and Huomaren. After four to five doses, the pain subsided slightly, and the stool became moist. Later, fever, flushed face, and occasional chills appeared. Wang retained the previous formula but removed Rushiag and Moyao, adding Chaihu and Huangqin. After two doses, the alternating chills and fever ceased. Subsequently, she felt coldness in the back and the lower back pain recurred. Wang stated: "The Blood has now circulated; add one qian of Renshen to the previous formula," after which she stabilized.
Jiang Huangnan treated a woman at three months of pregnancy who suffered lower back pain and lower abdominal pain with vaginal bleeding following a sprain or fall. Internal Heat was present. He prescribed Danggui, Baizhu, and Huangqin on top; Shudi, Chuanxiong, Fangfeng, and Sharen in the middle; Aiyeh on top again; and Xiangfu at the bottom. These were decocted in water. After bleeding stopped and abdominal pain ceased, Sharen was removed. She was then instructed to consume three egg yolks mixed with wine and cooked, which resulted in a cure.
Tongqi San (Ventilation Powder) treats unbearable lower back pain during pregnancy; this medicine is miraculously effective.
Pugu Zhi (Cibotii Rhizoma), regardless of quantity, is stir-fried on a tile until fragrant and ground into powder. Chew one walnut kernel and swallow the powder with warm wine on an empty stomach (3 qian).
Wujia Pi San (Acanthopanacis Cortex Powder) treats unbearable lower back pain during pregnancy, or pain radiating to the hips. (Take this powder first.)
Duzhong (4 liang, stir-fried), Wujia Pi, Ejiao (roasted), Fangfeng, Jinmao Gouji, Chuanxiong, Baishaoyao, Xixin, Bibi (each 3 liang), Xingren (80 kernels, remove tips and skin, stir-fried with bran). Another version includes Baifuling but excludes Baishaoyao.
Chop the herbs finely. Decoct in 9 sheng of water to obtain 2 sheng. Strain, dissolve the Ejiao, and divide into three doses.
Wujia Pi Wan (Acanthopanacis Cortex Pill) treats the same conditions as above. (Take this pill after the powder.)
Xuduan (stir-fried), Duzhong (each 2.5 liang), Xiong (Chuanxiong), Duhuo (each 3 liang), Wujia Pi, Gouji, Bibi, Shaoyao, Hezi Rou (each 4 liang).
Grind into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of wutong seeds. Take 40 pills with wine on an empty stomach, three times daily.
To treat lower back and back pain caused by disturbing the fetus.
Duzhong, Wujia Pi, Danggui, Shaoyao, Chuanxiong, Bibi (equal parts).
Finely chop. Decoct in 7 sheng of water to obtain 1.5 sheng. Divide into three warm doses.
[Dan] Ren Liu Sao suffered from lower back pain during pregnancy.
Baizhu (4 qian), Chenpi (3 qian), Huangbai (stir-fried, 2.5 qian), Renshen, Tiaoqin, Chuanxiong, Dihuang, Dangguiwei (each 0.5 liang), Gancao (roasted, 1 qian).
Divide into four doses. Decoct in water and wine.
To treat Qi stagnation attacking the waist during pregnancy, causing unbearable pain, also treating abdominal pain.
Danggui (3 liang), Ejiao, Gancao (each 2 liang), Congbai (1 sheng).
Finely chop. Decoct in 7 sheng of water to obtain 3 sheng. Strain and divide into three warm doses.
Dadihuang Wan (Great Rehmannia Pill) treats lower back and abdominal pain before and after delivery, all types of blood-related pain; also treats Qi and Blood deficiency, inability to move limbs, and bone marrow heat pain.
Shudihuang (2 liang), Wumei Rou, Danggui (each 1 liang).
Grind into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a bullet. Take one pill per dose, chew and swallow with plain warm water on an empty stomach.
Zijiu (Purple Wine) treats pregnancy lower back pain feeling like breaking.
Stir-fry 2 he of large black beans until fragrant. Decoct in one large cup of wine to reduce to 70%. Remove beans and drink in one dose on an empty stomach.
[Ben] Treats fetal movement causing lower back pain radiating to the heart, or vaginal bleeding. Take Congbai (Scallion White) in any amount, boil thickly, and drink the juice.
To treat recurrent and unrelenting lower back and back pain during pregnancy.
Lu Jiao (Deer Antler, 6 cun long), burn until red-hot, quench in wine, repeat burning and quenching until the antler shatters. Drink the wine in which the antler was quenched.
Another version suggests grinding Lu Jiao into powder and taking it with wine.
For sudden lower back pain with restlessness, or lower back pain with fetal movement radiating to the heart and continuous vaginal bleeding, take Changpu juice mixed with one sheng of wine.
For sudden fetal movement and insecurity during pregnancy, or only lower back pain, or fetal movement radiating to the heart, or continuous vaginal bleeding.
Take one bunch of Aiyeh (Mugwort Leaf), roughly the size of a chicken egg. Decoct in 4 sheng of wine to obtain 2 sheng. Divide into two doses for good effect.
Duanju Zhugen Tang (Short Drama Phyllostachys Bambusoides Root Decoction) treats damage disturbing the fetus causing lower back pain, abdominal pain with bleeding, and downward fetal movement.
Sheng Ganhuidi (Raw Dried Rehmannia), Zhugen (Phyllostachys Bambusoides Root, each 2 liang), Danggui, Shaoyao, Ejiao, Gancao (each 1 liang).
Finely chop. Decoct in 6 sheng of water to obtain 2 sheng. Strain, add Ejiao and melt. Divide into three warm doses. Avoid Haizao and Wuyi.
