赤石脂散
治疳泻不止。赤石脂川芎各等分。为细末。量大小多寡。米饮调下。乳食前。
二圣丸
治泻久不愈。羸瘦成疳。常宜服之。川黄连去须。黄柏去粗皮各一两。为细末。将药入猪胆内。汤煮熟取
出。丸绿豆大。每服二三十丸。米饮下。无时。
竹茹丸
治疳气泄泻烦渴。其效如神。

六神丹

硫黄丸
治疳泻色白如米泔。
巴豆（十四个去皮膜出油尽） 硫黄末（一钱） 青黛（一钱末） 芜荑（去皮一钱末）
上拌研匀细。水浸蒸饼和丸绿豆大。米泔水送下三丸。食前。
金粟丹
治疳瘦泄泻腹大。好食泥土。
母丁香 龙胆草（去芦） 浓朴（去粗皮生姜制） 朱砂（研飞） 青黛（研各一两） 夜明砂（微炒）
蝉壳（去土尽） 诃子肉（微炒）
上为细末。和蜜一半面糊一半。相和丸黍米大。每服十粒。米饮下。无时。
橘香丸
治疳积黄瘦。盗汗腹胀泄泻。宿滞不化。气促发喘。

木香芥粒丸

麝香丸

吴婆散
治疳泻不止。不计度数。渐成羸瘦。饮食减少。众药不效。

浓朴（去粗皮姜制一钱） 木香（一钱） 丁香（一钱） 楝根白皮（半分） 槟榔（一钱）
上为末。三岁以下儿每用半钱。以上至六七岁者一钱。煎紫苏木瓜米饮调下。食前。日三服。屡验。此药
性小温。暴热泻者不可服。

水蓼丹
治疳气羸瘦血痢。
蛇蜕（一两） 牛黄（一分别研末） 鸡头壳（一两二味烧存性） 胡黄连（半两）
水蓼（半两焙） 朱砂（半两研） 芦荟（一分研） 粉霜（一分研）
上拌匀细。软饭和丸黍米大。每服五七粒。麝香汤下。无时。
龙骨汤
治疳气瘦弱。下痢白脓。久而不瘥。

茺蔚粥
治如前。以茺蔚叶（即益母草也）煮粥食之。或取汁饮亦妙。
蔷薇汁
治如前。以生蔷薇根洗净。细切煎脓汁。稍稍饮之。
胜金丸
治如前。及加腹胀。以鸡子一枚。打一眼子。如豆大。入去皮巴豆一粒。腻粉一钱在内。以五十重纸裹。于
饭甑内蒸三次。取鸡子肉同药研。更入麝香少许细匀。添少糊。丸如黍米大。食后临卧温汤下二三丸。量大小
与服。一方用鸡子一枚打破。和腻粉炒干为散。米饮调一字或半钱服。
薤糯饼
治如前。以薤白一握，生杵如泥。同蜜和糯米粉研作饼。炙熟与吃。不过二三次，瘥。
樗白棋子
治如前。以樗根白皮捣细碎。面拌和，切作小颗棋子。日晒少时。又拌面一次。凡三过为度。水煮熟。加盐
醋顿服。量大小与。困重者服之。瘥。
樗根米泔汁
治如前。以樗根白皮煮浓汁。半鸡子壳。和粟米泔半鸡子壳。同灌下部。再作即瘥。其验如神。
木香使君丹
治疳气羸瘠。虽能食。不生肌肉。时时泄痢无休。

青黛散

〔歌曰〕孩儿大病变成疳。不问强羸女与男。或似积伤食不进。渐成柴瘦困耽耽。体热口干频饮水。皮毛枯
槁四肢摊。腹大时时更下痢。青黄白赤一般般。眼涩面黄鼻烂赤。口气增寒卧不安。忽然泻下如泔淀。又似脓胶
涕作团。肛头凸出饶啼哭。不忻哺乳泪潸潸。腹中有病须医疗。何须祈祷赛神盘。此方
便是青黛散。孩儿服饵立安全。
上以青黛研为细散。水调服之。量大小与。
赤虎丸
治疳积泻痢。
朱砂（别研） 胡黄连 川黄连（去须） 芦荟 腻粉（各一分） 硫黄（别研二钱） 肉豆蔻（面裹煨一

漏芦煮肝汤
治疳气肚胀。冷热不调。泻痢无度。以漏芦一两为末。每服一钱匕。猪肝一两。盐少许。水煮熟。空心
顿服。大治无辜疳。
君子散
治五疳小便白浊。泻痢无度。以使君子仁为末。米饮调服。食前。
浓脾丸
治疳劳虚冷。白痢泄泻。手足逆冷。

虾蟆丸
治诸疳疳泻。

麝香（半钱研）
上除研药外。锉细。用一大虾蟆去了肚肠。入锉药在内。以线缝合。先用好酷浸少时。次慢火炙。酒醋又
炙。至焦黑。放冷。杵研为末。入研药拌匀。取 猪胆汁和丸绿豆大。每服五七丸。米饮下。量大小加减。此乃
知信州王绍祖方。
赤石脂散
治疗疳积腹泻不止。取赤石脂、川芎各等分，研成细末。根据患儿年龄大小和病情轻重，用米汤调服。在吃奶或进食前服用。
二圣丸
治疗腹泻日久不愈，身体消瘦形成疳积。应当经常服用。取川黄连（去除须根和泥土）、黄柏（刮去粗皮）各一两，研成细末。将药粉装入猪胆内，放入沸水中煮熟后取出，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。每次服用二三十丸，用米汤送下，不限时间。
竹茹丸
治疗疳气引起的泄泻、烦渴。疗效神奇。
好黄连（去除须根和泥土，一两，锉成块状，大小相似） 吴茱萸（挑选去除枝梗，一两）
以上两味药，用蜂蜜调和拌匀，炒至赤黄色，去掉吴茱萸，只保留黄连研成细末。用稀薄面糊和丸，制成如萝卜子大小的药丸。每次服用十丸，煎煮竹茹米饮送下，不限时间。
六神丹
治疗疳气导致身体消瘦，脏腑功能怯弱，泄泻虚滑，吃奶吃饭减少，饮水无度，心腹胀满。
丁香 木香 肉豆蔻（各半两，用面粉包裹煨熟使用） 诃子（半两，煨熟去核称重） 使君子（去壳半两） 芦荟（一两，细研）
以上药物研成细末，用枣肉和丸，制成如麻子大小的药丸。每次服用五到七丸，温米汤送下，在吃奶或进食前服用。此药建议在夏秋季节给小儿服用。凡是小儿泄泻大便色白，或者腹泻严重服药后不见好转的，只要服用此药就能痊愈。
如圣丸
治疗冷疳或热疳引起的腹泻。
胡黄连 川黄连（去除须根和泥土） 白芜荑（去除扇形外壳取仁，炒制，各二钱） 使君子（去壳一两） 麝香（半钱，研细） 干蟾（三个，锉碎后用酒熬成膏）
以上药物研成细末，加入蟾酥膏和丸，制成如麻子大小的药丸。二三岁以下幼儿服用五到七丸，三岁以上的服用十丸至十五丸，用人参汤送下，饭前服用。
木香散
治疗疳积腹泻伴有腹胀。
木香 青皮（去除瓤，各一钱） 陈粟米（一合） 巴豆（三十粒，去皮膜后与米同炒，直到巴豆变黑，去掉巴豆，只留米使用） 草豆蔻（两个，一个生用，一个用面粉包裹煨熟） 蜣螂（两个，去除头足翅，用糯米炒焦，去掉糯米）
以上药物研成细末。每次服用一字或半钱，用米汤调服，饭前服用。
硫黄丸
治疗疳积腹泻，大便颜色白如米泔水。
巴豆（十四个，去皮膜，榨尽油） 硫黄末（一钱） 青黛（一钱，研末） 芜荑（去皮，一钱，研末）
以上药物拌合研匀细，用水浸泡蒸饼和丸，制成如绿豆大小的药丸。用米泔水送下三丸，饭前服用。
金粟丹
治疗疳积消瘦、腹泻、腹部胀大，喜欢吃泥土。
母丁香 龙胆草（去除芦头） 浓朴（去除粗皮，用生姜炮制） 朱砂（研飞） 青黛（研，各一两） 夜明砂（微炒） 蝉壳（去除泥土） 诃子肉（微炒）
以上药物研成细末，一半用蜜，一半用面糊调和，和丸制成如黍米大小的药丸。每次服用十粒，用米汤送下，不限时间。
橘香丸
治疗疳积导致面色发黄消瘦，盗汗，腹胀，腹泻，宿食停滞不化，气促喘息。
陈皮 木香（各一两） 姜黄（切片） 草豆蔻仁 白术（锉碎炒制） 牵牛子（炒制，各半两）
以上药物研成细末，滴水为丸，制成如麻子大小的药丸。每次服用十丸，用葱白米汤送下，饭后服用。
木香芥粒丸
治疗同上。
陈粟米（二合） 巴豆（半两，去皮膜后与米同炒，直到米焦黑，去掉巴豆，只用米） 陈皮（半两） 槟榔（一两，研细） 人参（去除芦头一分） 木香（一分）
以上药物研成细末，用米饭和丸，制成如芥菜籽大小的药丸。每次用三五丸，米汤送下。根据患儿的虚实情况和年龄大小酌情加减，不限时间。
麝香丸
治疗脾热生疳引起的泄泻，气弱不想吃东西。
川苦楝（取肉一两，用童子小便浸泡一夜，焙干） 巴豆（半两，去皮膜后与苦楝肉慢火炒至微紫色，去掉巴豆不用） 芦荟 槟榔 芜荑（去除扇形外壳，各半两） 没石子（一分） 麝香（少许）
以上药物研成细末。用猪胆汁浸泡蒸饼和丸，制成如黄米大小的药丸。每次服用十丸，米汤送下，饭后服用。
吴婆散
治疗疳积腹泻不止，不计次数，逐渐导致身体消瘦，饮食减少，其他药物无效。
桃根白皮（一分） 黄柏（蜜炙一分） 芜荑（去皮一分） 黄连（去除须根一分，微炒） 没石子（一钱半） 浓朴（去除粗皮，姜制一钱） 木香（一钱） 丁香（一钱） 楝根白皮（半分） 槟榔（一钱）
以上药物研成粉末。三岁以下幼儿每次用半钱，三岁至六七岁者用一钱，煎紫苏木瓜米汤调服，饭前服用，每日三次。屡试有效。此药性质微温，暴热腹泻者不可服用。
另一版本方剂没有没石子、丁香、槟榔这三味药。
水蓼丹
治疗疳气导致身体消瘦、血痢。
蛇蜕（一两） 牛黄（一分别研成末） 鸡头壳（一两，这两味药烧存性） 胡黄连（半两）
水蓼（半两，焙干） 朱砂（半两，研细） 芦荟（一分，研细） 粉霜（一分，研细）
以上药物拌匀研细，用软饭和丸，制成如黍米大小的药丸。每次服用五到七粒，麝香汤送下，不限时间。
龙骨汤
治疗疳气导致身体瘦弱，下痢白色脓液，日久不愈。
龙骨（半两） 诃黎勒皮（半两，焙干） 赤石脂（半两） 酸石榴皮（一分，微炒） 木香（一分） 使君子仁（一分）
以上药物研成细末。每次服用一字或半钱，麝香汤调服，不限时间。
丁香散
治疗同上。
丁香（二个） 黄连（一寸） 大枣（一个，去核）
以上药物用大枣包裹两味药，用麻线缠绕，在火上烧至存性，研成细末，用米汤调服，不限时间。
茺蔚粥
治疗同上。用茺蔚叶（即益母草）煮粥食用，或者取汁饮用也很好。
蔷薇汁
治疗同上。取生蔷薇根洗净，切碎煎煮取浓汁，少量多次饮用。
胜金丸
治疗同上，以及伴有腹胀。用一个鸡蛋，打一个小眼，如豆子大小，放入去皮巴豆一粒、腻粉一钱在内。用五十层厚纸包裹，放在饭甑内蒸三次。取出鸡蛋肉连同药物一起研磨，再加入少许麝香研匀，添加少量面糊，制成如黍米大小的药丸。饭后临睡前用温汤送下二三丸。根据患儿大小调整剂量。另一版本方法是将一个鸡蛋打破，与腻粉炒干研成散剂，用米汤调服一字或半钱。
薤糯饼
治疗同上。取薤白一把，生捣如泥，与蜂蜜和糯米粉研合成饼，烤熟给患儿吃。不超过两三次即可痊愈。
樗白棋子
治疗同上。取樗树根白皮捣碎，拌上面粉，切成小颗棋子状，日晒片刻，再拌一次面粉。共进行三次。用水煮熟，加盐醋顿服。根据患儿大小调整剂量，病情重者服用，可痊愈。
樗根米泔汁
治疗同上。取樗树根白皮煮成浓汁，半鸡子壳量，与粟米泔水半鸡子壳量混合，一同灌入下部（肛门）。再次制作服用即可痊愈。其疗效神奇。
木香使君丹
治疗疳气导致身体瘦弱，虽然能吃，但不长肌肉，时时泄痢不止。
使君子（去壳二两，炒制） 木香（一两） 丁香（一两） 浓朴（去除粗皮，生姜制一两） 没石子（一两） 胡黄连（一两） 肉豆蔻（面粉包裹煨去面，一两，以上先研成末） 芦荟（一分，研细） 麝香（一分，研细）
以上药物研成末混合均匀，用粟米饭和丸，制成如黍米大小的药丸。每次服用十粒，煎陈橘皮汤送下，不限时间，在吃奶或进食前服用。
君子丸
治疗疳劳发热，咬指甲，头发稀疏，腹胀，不想吃奶吃饭，身体消瘦，虚滑腹泻。
下痢无度，爱吃泥土。
浓朴（去除粗皮，姜制） 甘草（炙制） 青黛 陈皮（一分，去白） 诃子（炒制，去复选皮使用，各半两，一方用一两半，生熟各半） 使君子（去壳一两，面裹煨热） 白芜荑（去除扇形外壳三分）
以上药物研成末，炼蜜和丸，制成如鸡头子大小的药丸。三岁以下幼儿服半丸，三岁以上服一丸。用乳汁或米汤化开送下。如果夹杂惊热腹泻，使用此方极妙。
青黛散
治疗各种疳积泻痢，毛发焦枯，身体消瘦。
〔歌诀〕孩子大病变成疳，不问强壮瘦弱男女皆然。或是似积伤食不进，渐渐成为柴瘦困顿不堪。身体发热口干频繁饮水，皮毛干枯四肢瘫软。腹部胀大时时下痢，青黄白赤一般无别。眼睛涩滞面色黄鼻烂红，口气增寒卧睡不安。忽然泻下如米泔沉淀，又似脓胶鼻涕成团。肛门突出啼哭不止，不喜欢哺乳泪落纷纷。腹中有病须要医疗，何必祈祷赛神求安。此方便是青黛散，孩子服用立即安全。
以上药物以青黛研为细散，用水调服。根据患儿大小调整剂量。
赤虎丸
治疗疳积泻痢。
朱砂（别研） 胡黄连 川黄连（去除须根） 芦荟 腻粉（各一分） 硫黄（别研二钱） 肉豆蔻（面粉包裹煨一个，去面） 巴豆（二十四个，去皮用麸皮炒至麸皮变黑，去掉麸皮，只用巴豆，别研） 麝香（少许）
以上药物研成细末，研匀，用面糊和丸，如萝卜子大小。用甘草汤送下。一岁幼儿服一丸，酌情加减。
漏芦煮肝汤
治疗疳气肚胀，冷热不调，泻痢无度。以漏芦一两研成末，每次服一钱匕。猪肝一两，少许盐，水煮熟，空腹顿服。大治无辜疳。
君子散
治疗五疳导致小便白浊，泻痢无度。以使君子仁研成末，米汤调服，饭前服用。
浓脾丸
治疗疳劳虚冷，白痢泄泻，手足逆冷。
浓朴（去除粗皮，姜制半两） 肉豆蔻（一个，面粉包裹煨去面） 龙骨（半两） 诃子肉（煨去核用半两）
以上药物研成细末，糊丸制成绿豆大小。米汤送下十丸，不限时间。
虾蟆丸
治疗各种疳积疳泻。
芦荟（研细） 黄连（去除须根） 谷精草 桂心 朱砂（研细，各一钱） 缩砂仁（二钱） 熊胆（半钱，温水化开研细） 麝香（半钱，研细）
以上除已研细的药物外，其余锉细。用一只大蛤蟆，去掉肚肠，将锉好的药放入其中，用线缝合。先用好醋浸泡片刻，再用慢火炙烤，接着用酒醋炙烤，直到焦黑。放凉后杵研成末，加入已研细的药物拌匀，取猪胆汁和丸，制成绿豆大小。每次服用五到七丸，米汤送下，根据患儿大小调整剂量。这是信州王绍祖的方子。
Chishizhi San (Red Halloysite Powder)
Treats persistent diarrhea due to Gan syndrome (chronic malnutrition in children). Take equal parts of Chishizhi (Red Halloysite, *Halloysitum Rubrum*) and Chuanxiong (*Ligusticum chuanxiong*), grind into a fine powder. Adjust the dose according to the child's age and condition severity. Mix with rice water for oral administration. Administer before nursing or meals.
Ersheng Wan (Two Sages Pill)
Treats chronic diarrhea that has not resolved, leading to emaciation and Gan syndrome. It is advisable to take this regularly. Take Chuanhuanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots and soil) and Huangbai (*Phellodendri Cortex*, scrape off rough bark), each one tael. Grind into a fine powder. Place the powder inside a pig gallbladder, boil in hot water until cooked, then remove. Form pills the size of mung beans. Take 20-30 pills per dose, with rice water. No fixed time.
Zhuru Wan (Bamboo Shavings Pill)
Treats diarrhea and excessive thirst caused by Gan qi (Gan pathogenic factor). The effect is miraculous.
Huanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots and soil, one tael, cut into similar-sized chunks) Wuzhuyu (*Evodiae Fructus*, select and remove stems and branches, one tael).
Mix these two ingredients with honey evenly, stir-fry until reddish-yellow, remove Wuzhuyu, and keep only Huanglian ground into powder. Bind with thin starch paste to form pills the size of radish seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, administered with decoction of Zhuru (*Bambusae Caulis in Taeniam*) and rice water. No fixed time.
Liushen Dan (Six Deities Pellet)
Treats Gan syndrome characterized by emaciation, weak visceral functions, loose and slippery diarrhea, reduced milk/food intake, excessive drinking, abdominal distension and fullness.
Dingxiang (*Caryophylli Flos*), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*), Roudoukou (*Myristicae Semen*, half tael each, wrapped in flour and baked), Hezi (*Terminaliae Fructus*, half tael, baked and pitted), Shijunzi (*Quisqualis Fructus*, shelled, half tael), Lvhui (*Aloe*, one tael, finely ground).
Grind all into a fine powder. Bind with jujube flesh to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 5-7 pills per dose, with warm rice water. Administer before nursing or meals. This medicine is recommended for summer and autumn. For pediatric diarrhea with white stool, or severe diarrhea unresponsive to other medications, administration of this pill will ensure recovery.
Rusheng Wan (Like Sage Pill)
Treats cold Gan diarrhea or heat Gan diarrhea.
Huhuanglian (*Scutellariae Barbatae Herba*), Chuanhuanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots and soil), Baiwuyi (*Alpiniae oxyphyllae Semen*, remove husks, take kernels, stir-fried, two qian each), Shijunzi (*Quisqualis Fructus*, shelled, one tael), Shexiang (*Moscus*, half qian, ground), Ganchan (*Bufo bufo gargarizans skin*, three pieces, chopped and boiled in wine to make paste).
Grind all into a fine powder. Add Chan Gao (Toad Venom Paste) and bind to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Children aged 2-3 years: 5-7 pills; older children: 10-15 pills. Administer with Ginseng Decoction before meals.
Muxiang San (Aucklandia Powder)
Treats Gan diarrhea accompanied by abdominal distension.
Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*), Qingpi (*Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride*, remove albedo, one qian each), Chen Sumi (*Setaria italica*, one he), Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*, 30 grains, peel and remove membrane, stir-fry with rice until Badou turns black, discard Badou, keep rice), Caodoukou (*Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen*, two pieces: one raw, one wrapped in flour and baked), Qianglang (*Sphaleri Faeces*, two pieces, remove head, feet, wings, stir-fry with glutinous rice until scorched, discard rice).
Grind all into a fine powder. Take one "zi" (a traditional small weight unit) or half qian per dose, mixed with rice water. Administer before meals.
Liu Huang Wan (Sulfur Pill)
Treats Gan diarrhea where stool is white like rice wash water.
Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*, 14 grains, peel and remove membrane, press out oil completely), Liu Huang Mo (*Sulfur*, one qian), Qingdai (*Indigo Naturalis*, one qian, ground), Wuyi (*Alpiniae oxyphyllae Semen*, peeled, one qian, ground).
Mix and grind evenly. Bind with steamed dough soaked in water to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 3 pills per dose, with rice wash water. Administer before meals.
Jinsu Dan (Golden Millet Pellet)
Treats Gan emaciation, diarrhea, abdominal distension, and pica (eating dirt).
Mu Dingxiang (*Caryophylli Flos*), Longdancao (*Gentianae Radix*, remove rhizome), Nongpo (*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*, remove rough bark, process with ginger), Zhusha (*Cinnabaris*, refined and ground), Qingdai (*Indigo Naturalis*, ground, one tael each), Yeming Sha (*Vomeronasae Faeces*, slightly stir-fried), Chanqiao (*Cicadae Periostracum*, clean thoroughly), Hezirou (*Terminaliae Fructus Carnosus*, slightly stir-fried).
Grind all into a fine powder. Bind with half honey and half starch paste to form pills the size of millet grains. Take 10 pills per dose, with rice water. No fixed time.
Juxiang Wan (Orange Fragrance Pill)
Treats Gan accumulation causing yellowish emaciation, night sweats, abdominal distension, diarrhea, food stagnation, shortness of breath, and wheezing.
Chenpi (*Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*, one tael each), Jianghuang (*Curcumae Longae Rhizoma*, sliced), Caodoukou Ren (*Alpiniae Katsumadai Semen Kernel*), Baizhu (*Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma*, chopped and stir-fried), Qianniuzi (*Pharbitidis Semen*, stir-fried, half tael each).
Grind all into a fine powder. Add drops of water to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take 10 pills per dose, administered with scallion white and rice water after meals.
Muxiang Ji Li Wan (Aucklandia Mustard Seed Pill)
Treats the same conditions as above.
Chen Sumi (*Setaria italica*, two he), Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*, half tael, peel and remove membrane, stir-fry with rice until rice is scorched, discard Badou, keep rice), Chenpi (*Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*, half tael), Binglang (*Arecae Semen*, one tael, finely ground), Renshen (*Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma*, remove rhizome, one fen), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*, one fen).
Grind all into a fine powder. Bind with cooked rice to form pills the size of mustard seeds. Use 3-5 pills per dose, with rice soup. Adjust dosage based on deficiency/excess and age. No fixed time.
Shexiang Wan (Musk Pill)
Treats diarrhea caused by spleen heat generating Gan syndrome, accompanied by weak qi and anorexia.
Chuan Koushou (*Meliae Toosendan Fructus Flesh*, one tael, soak in urine of a young boy overnight, dry by baking), Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*, half tael, peel and remove membrane, stir-fry slowly with Koushou until slightly purple, discard Badou), Lvhui (*Aloe*), Binglang (*Arecae Semen*), Wuyi (*Alpiniae oxyphyllae Semen*, remove husks, half tael each), Meishizi (*Myrobalani Fructus*, one fen), Shexiang (*Moscus*, a little).
Grind all into a fine powder. Soak steamed dough in pig bile and bind to form pills the size of broomcorn millet. Take 10 pills per dose, with rice water after meals.
Wupo San (Lady Wu Powder)
Treats persistent Gan diarrhea of any frequency, gradually leading to emaciation and reduced appetite, unresponsive to other medicines.
Taogen Bapi (*Pruni Persicae Cortex Albus*, one fen), Huangbai (*Phellodendri Cortex*, honey-fried, one fen), Wuyi (*Alpiniae oxyphyllae Semen*, peeled, one fen), Huanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots, one fen, slightly stir-fried), Meishizi (*Myrobalani Fructus*, one qian half), Nongpo (*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*, remove rough bark, ginger-processed, one qian), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*, one qian), Dingxiang (*Caryophylli Flos*, one qian), Ligen Bapi (*Meliae Cortex Albus*, half fen), Binglang (*Arecae Semen*, one qian*).
Grind all into powder. For children under 3 years: use half qian per dose; for ages 3 to 6-7 years: use one qian per dose. Mix with decoction of Zisu (*Perillae Folium*) and Mugua (*Chaenomelis Fructus*) and rice water. Administer before meals, three times daily. Proven effective. This medicine is mildly warm; do not use for acute heat diarrhea.
Another version omits Meishizi, Dingxiang, and Binglang.
Shuiliao Dan (Polygonum Odoratum Pellet)
Treats Gan syndrome causing emaciation and bloody dysentery.
Shetui (*Bovis Cornu Colla Degradatum*, one tael), Niuhuang (*Bovis Calculus*, one tael, grind separately), Jitouke (*Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum*, one tael, calcine these two until carbonized but retaining properties), Huhuanglian (*Scutellariae Barbatae Herba*, half tael).
Shuiliao (*Polygoni Odorati Herba*, half tael, dried), Zhusha (*Cinnabaris*, half tael, ground), Lvhui (*Aloe*, one fen, ground), Fanshuang (*Calomel*, one fen, ground).
Mix evenly and grind fine. Bind with soft rice to form pills the size of millet grains. Take 5-7 pills per dose, with Musk Soup. No fixed time.
Longgu Tang (Dragon Bone Decoction)
Treats Gan syndrome causing emaciation and weakness, dysentery with white pus, chronic and unresolved.
Longgu (*Fossilia Os Mastodi vel Dentis*, half tael), Helile Pi (*Terminaliae Fructus Cortex*, half tael, dried), Chishizhi (*Halloysitum Rubrum*, half tael), Suan Shiliu Pi (*Punicae Granati Cortex*, one fen, slightly stir-fried), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*, one fen), Shijunzi Ren (*Quisqualis Fructus Kernel*, one fen).
Grind all into a fine powder. Take one "zi" or half qian per dose, mixed with Musk Soup. No fixed time.
Dingxiang San (Clove Powder)
Treats the same as above.
Dingxiang (*Caryophylli Flos*, two pieces), Huanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, one inch), Dazao (*Ziziphi Jujubae Fructus*, one piece, pitted).
Wrap the two herbs in the jujube, tie with hemp thread, roast over fire until carbonized but retaining properties. Grind into fine powder. Mix with rice water for administration. No fixed time.
Chongwei Zhou (Agastache Porridge)
Treats the same as above. Cook porridge with Chongwei Ye (*Agastaches Herba*, i.e., Yimucao / *Leonuri Herba*) and eat. Alternatively, extract juice and drink; also excellent.
Qiangwei Zhi (Rose Juice)
Treats the same as above. Wash fresh Qiangwei Gen (*Rosae Rugosae Radix*), chop finely, decoct to obtain thick juice. Drink in small amounts gradually.
Shengjin Wan (Victorious Gold Pill)
Treats the same as above, plus abdominal distension. Take one chicken egg, make a hole the size of a bean. Insert one peeled Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*) grain and one qian of Nifen (*Calomel*). Wrap in 50 layers of thick paper. Steam in a rice steamer three times. Remove egg meat and grind together with the medicine. Add a little Shexiang (*Moscus*) and mix finely. Add a little paste to form pills the size of millet grains. Take 2-3 pills after meals and before bed with warm water. Adjust dose according to size. Another method: break one egg, mix with Nifen, stir-fry until dry, grind into powder. Take one "zi" or half qian mixed with rice water.
Xie Nuo Bing (Allium Glutinous Rice Cake)
Treats the same as above. Take a handful of Xiebai (*Allii Macrostemonis Bulbus*), pound raw into a paste. Mix with honey and glutinous rice flour to form cakes. Roast until cooked and feed to the child. Recovery usually occurs within two or three doses.
Chu Bai Qizi (Tree-of-Heaven White Chips)
Treats the same as above. Pound Chu Gen Bapi (*Ailanthi Cortex Albus* finely). Mix with flour, cut into small chip shapes. Sun-dry briefly. Mix with flour again. Repeat three times. Boil in water until cooked. Take immediately with salt and vinegar. Adjust dose according to size. Use for severe cases. Recovery expected.
Chu Gen Mixian Zhi (Tree-of-Heaven Root Rice Wash Juice)
Treats the same as above. Decoct Chu Gen Bapi (*Ailanthi Cortex Albus*) to make a thick juice. Half eggshell volume of this juice mixed with half eggshell volume of millet rice wash. Administer enema via lower orifice (anus). Repeat preparation and administration for cure. Effect is miraculous.
Muxiang Shijun Dan (Aucklandia Quisqualis Pellet)
Treats Gan syndrome causing emaciation. Although the child can eat, muscles do not grow. Frequent and unremitting diarrhea and dysentery.
Shijunzi (*Quisqualis Fructus*, shelled, two taels, stir-fried), Muxiang (*Aucklandiae Radix*, one tael), Dingxiang (*Caryophylli Flos*, one tael), Nongpo (*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*, remove rough bark, ginger-processed, one tael), Meishizi (*Myrobalani Fructus*, one tael), Huhuanglian (*Scutellariae Barbatae Herba*, one tael), Roudoukou (*Myristicae Semen*, wrapped in flour, baked, remove flour, one tael, grind first), Lvhui (*Aloe*, one fen, ground), Shexiang (*Moscus*, one fen, ground).
Grind all into powder and mix uniformly. Bind with millet rice to form pills the size of millet grains. Take 10 pills per dose, with decoction of aged Chenpi (*Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*). No fixed time, before nursing or meals.
Junzi Wan (Gentleman Pill)
Treats Gan consumption fever, nail-biting, sparse hair, abdominal distension, aversion to milk/food, emaciation, loose stools.
Profuse dysentery, craving dirt.
Nongpo (*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*, remove rough bark, ginger-processed), Gancao (*Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma*, roasted), Qingdai (*Indigo Naturalis*), Chenpi (*Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium*, one fen, remove albedo), Hezi (*Terminaliae Fructus*, stir-fried, remove outer skin, use half tael each; another prescription uses one and a half taels, half raw half processed), Shijunzi (*Quisqualis Fructus*, shelled, one tael, wrapped in flour and heated), Bai Wuyi (*Alpiniae oxyphyllae Semen*, remove husks, three fen).
Grind all into powder. Bind with refined honey to form pills the size of cocklebur seeds. Children under 3 years: half a pill; older children: one pill. Dissolve in milk or rice water and administer. Extremely effective if complicated by fright-heat diarrhea.
Qingdai San (Indigo Naturalis Powder)
Treats various Gan syndromes with diarrhea and dysentery, scorched hair, and emaciation.
[Verse] Child's severe illness transforms into Gan, regardless of strength or gender. Or resembling accumulation, food intake fails, gradually becoming lean and exhausted. Body heat, dry mouth, frequent drinking, skin and hair withered, limbs limp. Abdomen large, frequent dysentery, colors green, yellow, white, red indistinguishable. Eyes gritty, face yellow, nose rotting red, bad breath, chills, restless sleep. Suddenly diarrhea like rice sediment, or like pus and phlegm clumps. Anus prolapses, crying incessantly, unwilling to nurse, tears flowing. Disease in abdomen requires medical treatment, why pray to gods? This formula is Qingdai San, taking it ensures immediate safety for the child.
Grind Qingdai (*Indigo Naturalis*) into fine powder. Mix with water and administer. Adjust dose according to size.
Chi Hu Wan (Red Tiger Pill)
Treats Gan accumulation with diarrhea and dysentery.
Zhusha (*Cinnabaris*, grind separately), Huhuanglian (*Scutellariae Barbatae Herba*), Chuanhuanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots), Lvhui (*Aloe*), Nifen (*Calomel*, one fen each), Liu Huang (*Sulfur*, grind separately, two qian), Roudoukou (*Myristicae Semen*, wrapped in flour, baked one piece, remove flour), Badou (*Crotonis Fructus*, 24 grains, peel, stir-fry with bran until bran is black, discard bran, keep Badou, grind separately), Shexiang (*Moscus*, a little).
Grind all into fine powder, mix evenly. Bind with starch paste to form pills the size of radish seeds. Take with Licorice Decoction (*Gancao Tang*). One pill for one-year-old infants. Adjust dosage as needed.
Lulu Zhu Gan Tang (Rhaponticum Boiled Liver Decoction)
Treats Gan syndrome abdominal distension, imbalance of cold and heat, unremitting diarrhea and dysentery. Take Lulu (*Euphorbiae Humifusae Herba*, one tael) ground into powder. Take one qian bi per dose. Pig liver one tael, a little salt. Boil in water until cooked. Take immediately on an empty stomach. Greatly treats Wugu Gan (Orphan Gan).
Junzi San (Gentleman Powder)
Treats Five Gans causing cloudy white urine, unremitting diarrhea and dysentery. Grind Junzi Ren (*Quisqualis Fructus Kernel*) into powder. Mix with rice water and administer before meals.
Nongpi Wan (Thick Spleen Pill)
Treats Gan consumption with deficiency-cold, white dysentery, diarrhea, and cold extremities.
Nongpo (*Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex*, remove rough bark, ginger-processed, half tael), Roudoukou (*Myristicae Semen*, one piece, wrapped in flour, baked, remove flour), Longgu (*Fossilia Os Mastodi vel Dentis*, half tael), Hezirou (*Terminaliae Fructus Carnosus*, baked, pitted, half tael).
Grind all into fine powder. Bind with starch paste to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 10 pills with rice water. No fixed time.
Xama Wan (Toad Pill)
Treats various Gans and Gan diarrhea.
Lvhui (*Aloe*, ground), Huanglian (*Coptidis Rhizoma*, remove roots), Gujingcao (*Equiseti Herba*), Guixin (*Cinnamomi Ramulus*), Zhusha (*Cinnabaris*, ground, one qian each), Suosharen (*Amomi Fructus*, two qian), Xiongdan (*Ursi Fel*, half qian, dissolve in warm water and grind), Shexiang (*Moscus*, half qian, ground).
Except for the already ground drugs, chop the rest finely. Take one large toad, remove entrails. Insert the chopped herbs inside. Sew up with thread. Soak in good vinegar briefly. Then roast slowly over fire. Roast again with wine and vinegar until charred black. Cool down. Pound and grind into powder. Mix with the ground drugs. Bind with pig bile to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 5-7 pills per dose, with rice water. Adjust dose according to size. This is the prescription of Wang Shaozu from Xinzhou.
