上为末，米饮汁若酒服一刀圭，日再。灸其对 足大指毛上，各二壮。

上以蜘蛛一个烧灰作末，饮服之，愈。
张涣治小儿疝疾偏坠海蛤散方
海蛤（细研） 香子（炒香熟。各三分） 薏苡仁 白术 槟榔（面裹炮。各半两）
上件药捣，罗为细散。每服半钱，以温酒调下，早晚乳食前。量儿大小加减。
张涣妙香丹方 治疝气偏坠。
薰陆香 青木香 昆布（洗去咸味。各三分） 藿香叶 牵牛子（炒。各半两）
上件药捣，罗为细末，用枣肉和如麻子大。每服十粒，空心以牡蛎汤下。量儿大小加减。
《九 卫生》疗小儿 偏大，气胀方。
雄黄（一两，研） 甘草（一钱，细锉）
上同煎汤淋渫。
《刘氏家传》小儿外肾偏坠熏洗法。
上用皂角一寸，煨去黑皮并子，以盏载烧烟熏。又槐叶五两，水二升，煎就一升，温，日一熏洗。
《吉氏家传》胜金丸 治小儿疝气偏坠方。
川楝子（去核，取肉） 续随子肉（七十个，去皮） 轻粉（一钱）
上为末，稀面糊为丸如此○大。每服七丸至十丸，葱白薄荷汤吞下。
《圣惠》灸法∶小儿胎疝，卵偏重者，灸囊后缝十字纹当上三壮，不三月较，炷如小麦大。
（此病又名“偏疝”，读音同“单”）
《巢氏病源》中关于小儿偏疝的论述：所谓偏疝，是指阴囊一侧肿大。这也是由于小儿啼哭用力时，气机逆乱冲击下部所致。之所以出现偏侧肿胀，是因为气机乘虚而入，在偏侧结聚，从而形成肿胀。
《千金方》治疗偏疝的方剂。
在上巳节（农历三月初三）除日这天，取白头翁根捣烂，敷于肿胀的一侧，过一夜后，若局部起疮，二十天即可痊愈。
以上五味药研成细末，用蜂蜜制成如大豆大小的丸剂。三岁儿童每次服用五丸，可逐渐增加至十丸。年龄较小的儿童酌情减量，可将药丸放在乳头上让婴儿吮服。
《千金方》治疗疝气导致睾丸偏大、气机上冲（原文“上一作胀”，意为腹胀）、身体不能活动的方剂。
以上两味药处理后筛去粗渣，用酒送服一方寸匕的药量，每日三次。《肘后方》记载：《短剧方》使用桂心、豆豉、铁精等分混合为五味药。小儿每次服用一刀圭的量，二十天痊愈；婴儿则用乳汁调和，给予如大豆大小的药量。《九卫生》主张用米汤调服半钱。
《外台秘要》记载：张文仲《短剧方》中的牡丹散，治疗疝气偏盛、腹部气胀的方剂。
以上五味药捣碎、筛成细粉，用酒调和，服用一方寸匕的量。小儿每次服用一刀圭，二十天痊愈；童车用乳汁调和，给予如大豆大小的药量，效果显著。忌食生葱、胡荽（香菜）。
《外台秘要》记载：《古今录验》中的牡丹五等散，治疗疝气导致阴囊睾丸偏大，伴有气机上下窜动、腹部胀大、行走时肿大等症状，服用此方疗效良好。
牡丹皮、防风、黄柏（炙烤）、桂心（各一分）、桃仁（一分，去皮尖、研磨）。
以上五味药捣碎研成散剂。用酒送服一刀圭的量，二十天痊愈，对于小儿疝气最为有效。幼儿用乳汁调和如一大豆大小给予；二、三岁的儿童服用一方寸匕的量。忌食生葱、胡荽。
《太平圣惠方》治疗小儿骨疳攻注，连及肾脏外部囊肿胀，或疼痛，或一侧下垂等症状，适宜服用的昆布丸方。
昆布（三分，洗净去除咸味）、香子（半两，微炒）、木香、甘草（炙至微红，切碎）、黄柏（切碎）、丁香、烂牡蛎（生用）、铜青（各一分）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成细末，用枣肉调和制成如麻子大小的丸剂。一至两岁的儿童空腹时，用熟甘草煎汤送服三丸。根据儿童大小酌情增减剂量。
防葵、牡丹、桂心、黄柏（切碎）、滑石（各一两）、豆豉（半两，微炒）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成细末，用炼蜜调和制成如麻子大小的丸剂。三、四岁的儿童每次服用五丸，用粥饮送下，早晨和晚上各服一次。根据儿童大小酌情增减剂量。
香子（微炒，捣成细末）、古文钱上的铜锈（研磨）、砂（细研。各一分）、桃仁（四十九枚，热水浸泡去皮尖、双仁，生研）。
以上药物共同研磨均匀，用热水浸泡蒸饼调和制成如麻子大小的丸剂。二、三岁的儿童每次服用一丸，用橘皮汤送下。

狗茎（一个，烧存性）、白术（三分）、猪苓（二分）、桂心（一分）。
以上药物研成细末，用米汤或酒送服一刀圭的量，每日两次。同时在对侧足大指指甲根部毛发处施灸，每处各灸二壮。
《婴孺书》又一方。
海蛤（细研）、香子（炒香熟。各三分）、薏苡仁、白术、槟榔（面粉包裹炮制。各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成细散。每次服用半钱，用温酒调下，早晚在吃奶吃饭前服用。根据儿童大小酌情增减剂量。
薰陆香（乳香）、青木香、昆布（洗净去除咸味。各三分）、藿香叶、牵牛子（炒。各半两）。
以上药物捣碎，过筛成细末，用枣肉调和制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每次服用十粒，空腹时用牡蛎汤送下。根据儿童大小酌情增减剂量。
以上药物共同煎汤，用于淋洗患处。
取皂角一寸，煨去黑皮及种子，用盏盛装燃烧烟雾进行熏蒸。另取槐叶五两，水二升，煎煮至一升，温热后，每日熏洗一次。

*Chishu Bingyuan* (Source of Diseases by Chao Yuanfang) discusses the condition of pediatric unilateral hernia: The term "Pian Han" refers to unilateral swelling of the scrotum. This is also caused by crying and straining, which leads to Qi counterflow impacting the lower region. The reason for unilateral swelling is that Qi takes advantage of deficiency to flow into one side, where it knots and causes swelling.
*Qianjin Fang* (Essential Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) provides formulas for treating unilateral hernia.
On the day of Shangsi Festival (the third day of the third lunar month), take the root of *Pedicularis resupinata* (Baitouweng), crush it, and apply it to the swollen side overnight. If an ulcer forms, it will heal in twenty days.
*Qianjin Fang* Wudeng Wan (Five-Grade Pill) treats pediatric unilateral scrotal enlargement and hard testicles.
*Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai), *Fermented Soybean* (Xiangchi), *Moutan Cortex* (Mudan), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin) (each 2 liang).
Grind the above five herbs into fine powder, mix with honey, and form pills the size of soybeans. For three-year-old children, administer 5 pills per dose, increasing up to 10 pills. For younger children, adjust the dosage accordingly; the pill can be placed on the nipple for the infant to suckle.
*Qianjin Fang* treats hernia causing unilateral testicular enlargement, Qi rushing upward (note: original text suggests "swelling" instead of "upward"), and immobility.
*Moutan Cortex* (Mudanpi), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng) (each 1 liang).
Process and sieve the above two herbs. Take one fangcunbi (a square-inch measure) mixed with wine, three times daily. *Zhouhou Fang* (Handbook of Prescriptions for Emergencies) records that *Duanju Fang* uses *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin), *Fermented Soybean* (Chi), and Iron Essence in equal parts. For children, administer one daogui (a small measure); it heals in twenty days. For infants, mix with breast milk to the size of a soybean. *Jiuwei Weisheng* recommends mixing half a qian with rice water.
*Waitai Miyao* (Important Essential Prescriptions from the Outer Cabinet) records Zhang Wenzhong's *Duanju* Mudan San (Powder), which treats severe unilateral hernia with abdominal Qi distension.
*Moutan*, *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng), Iron Essence, *Fermented Soybean* (Chi) (stir-fried. Equal parts).
Crush and sieve the above five herbs. Mix with wine and take one fangcunbi. For children, take one daogui; it heals in twenty days. For young boys, mix with breast milk to the size of a soybean; this is highly effective. Avoid raw green onions and coriander.
*Waitai Miyao* records *Gujin Luyan* Mudan Wudeng San (Five-Grade Powder of Moutan), which treats hernia causing unilateral scrotal/testicular enlargement, with Qi moving up and down, abdominal distension, and swelling while walking. This formula is effective.
*Moutan Cortex* (Mudanpi), *Saposhnikoviae Radix* (Fangfeng), *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai, roasted), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin) (each 1 fen), *Persicae Semen* (Taoren, 1 fen, remove skin and tip, grind).
Grind the above five herbs into powder. Take one daogui mixed with wine; it heals in twenty days. It is most effective for pediatric hernia. For toddlers, mix with breast milk to the size of a large soybean. Children aged two or three take one fangcunbi. Avoid raw green onions and coriander.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* (Holy惠民 Formulas of Taiping Era) Kunbu Wan (Kelp Pill) treats pediatric bone-related malnutrition attacking the kidneys, causing external scrotal cysts and swelling, pain, or unilateral descent.
*Kelp* (Kunbu, 3 fen, wash to remove saltiness), *Evodiae Fructus* (Xiangzi, 0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried), *Aucklandiae Radix* (Muxiang), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (Gancao, roasted until slightly red, cut), *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai, cut), *Syzygos aromatici Flos* (Dingxiang), *Ostrea Concha* (Lan Muli, used raw), *Chrysococcae* (Tongqing) (each 1 fen).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into powder. Mix with date flesh to form pills the size of hemp seeds. For children aged one or two, take three pills on an empty stomach with decoction of cooked licorice. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* Fangkui Wan (Peucedani Radix Pill) treats pediatric unilateral scrotal enlargement and hard testicles.
*Peucedani Radix* (Fangkui), *Moutan Cortex* (Mudan), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin), *Phellodendri Cortex* (Huangbai, cut), *Talcum* (Huashi) (each 1 liang), *Fermented Soybean* (Chi, 0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of hemp seeds. For children aged three or four, take five pills with porridge water, once in the morning and once in the evening. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* Xiangzi Wan (Evodiae Fructus Pill) treats pediatric unilateral descent or abdominal pain caused by Qi attack.
*Evodiae Fructus* (Xiangzi, lightly stir-fried and ground), Copper verdigris from ancient coins (Ge Wen Qian Qing, ground), Realgar (Xionghuang, finely ground) (each 1 fen), *Persicae Semen* (Taoren, 49 seeds, soak in hot water, remove skin and tip, double kernels removed, grind raw).
Grind all ingredients uniformly. Mix with steamed bread soaked in water to form pills the size of hemp seeds. For children aged two or three, take one pill with tangerine peel decoction.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* Another Formula.
*Cnidii Fructus* (Shechuangzi, ground, 0.5 liang), *Verbenae Herba* juice (Mabiancao zhi, 1 he).
Mix the above ingredients into a paste and apply to the swollen genital area of the child; this is effective.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* Another Formula.
Take 3 liang of *Aurantii Fructus* (Zhike), lightly stir-fry, crush, and sieve into fine powder. Boil cypress branches to make a thick decoction, mix with the powder, and apply to the swollen side of the child; this is excellent.
*Yingru Shu* Gousheng San (Dog Penis Powder) treats pediatric unilateral hernia.
Dog penis (one whole, burned), *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (Baizhu, 3 fen), *Polyporus* (Zuling, 2 fen), *Cinnamomi Ramulus* (Guixin, 1 fen).
Grind into powder. Take one daogui with rice water or wine, twice daily. Moxibustion should be applied to the corresponding point on the big toe hairline, two moxa cones per point.
*Yingru Shu* Another Formula.
Burn one spider to ash, grind into powder, and take with water to cure.
Zhang Huan's Haige San (Clam Shell Powder) treats pediatric hernia with unilateral descent.
*Clam Shell* (Haige, finely ground), *Evodiae Fructus* (Xiangzi, stir-fried until fragrant) (each 3 fen), *Coicis Semen* (Yiyiren), *Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma* (Baizhu), *Arecae Semen* (Binglang, wrapped in flour and roasted) (each 0.5 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into fine powder. Take half a qian each time, mixed with warm wine, before morning and evening milk/food meals. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
Zhang Huan's Miaoxiang Dan (Wonderful Fragrance Pill) treats hernia with unilateral descent.
*Boswelliae Resina* (Xunlu Xiang/Ru Xiang), *Aquilariae Lignum Resinatum* (Qingmuxiang), *Kelp* (Kunbu, washed to remove saltiness) (each 3 fen), *Agastachis Herba* (Huoxiang Ye), *Pharbitidis Semen* (Qianniu Zi, stir-fried) (each 0.5 liang).
Crush and sieve the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with date flesh to form pills the size of hemp seeds. Take ten pills each time on an empty stomach with Oyster Shell decoction. Adjust dosage according to the child's size.
*Jiuwei Weisheng* treats pediatric hernia with unilateral enlargement and Qi distension.
*Realgar* (Xionghuang, 1 liang, ground), *Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma* (Gancao, 1 qian, finely cut).
Decoct together and use the liquid to wash the affected area.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan* External fumigation and washing method for pediatric external genital unilateral descent.
Take 1 cun of *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus* (Zaojiao), roast to remove black skin and seeds, burn in a bowl to generate smoke for fumigation. Also, take 5 liang of *Mori Folium* (Huaye), add 2 sheng of water, boil down to 1 sheng. Use the warm liquid for daily fumigation and washing.
*Ji Shi Jia Chuan* Shengjin Wan (Golden Victory Pill) treats pediatric hernia with unilateral descent.
*Toosendan Fructus* (Chuanshanzi, remove core, use flesh), *Swieteniae Semen* (Xuisui Zi Rou, 70 seeds, remove skin), *Calomel* (Qingfen, 1 qian).
Grind into powder, bind with thin flour paste into pills of the size of the character '〇'. Take seven to ten pills each time, swallowed with decoction of white onion and mint.
*Taiping Shenghui Fang* Moxibustion Method: For pediatric congenital hernia with heavy unilateral testicle, apply three moxa cones at the center of the cross-shaped wrinkle behind the scrotum seam. For infants under three months, use moxa cones the size of wheat grains.
