《婴孺》治小儿赤白痢，经时不已。犀角丸方
犀角（炙令焦） 赤石脂（各五分） 黄连 白头翁（各六分） 茜草 枳壳 榉皮（各三分） 女萎 黄芩 龙
骨（各四分） 黄柏 甘草（炙） 干蓝（各二分）
上为末，蜜丸。二、三岁服小豆大二十五丸，日再。量儿大小与服之。
《婴孺》治二百日儿赤白痢，日夜五十行，此方大良。

上切，以水四升煮一升，为四服。此方徐王效方也，更检痢保中。亦有芒硝半合，牡丹三两去心，上以水
六升煮至三升，去滓纳芒硝为三服，此是《删繁方》。（《葛氏肘后》、《徐王效方》治热痢方同。《外台》治冷热痢亦同，
却附子只用二分。）
钱乙白附子香连丸 治肠胃气虚，暴伤乳哺，冷热相杂，泻痢赤白，里急后重，腹痛扭撮，昼夜频并，乳食减
少。
黄连 木香（各一分） 白附子（大，二个）
上为末，粟米饭丸绿豆大或黍米大。每服十丸至二、三十丸，食前清米饮下，日夜各四、五服。
钱乙豆蔻香连丸 治泄泻，不拘寒热赤白，阴阳不调，腹痛肠鸣切痛，可用如圣。

上为细末，粟米饭丸米粒大。每服米饮下十丸至三、二十丸，日夜各四五服，食前。
《婴童宝鉴》治赤白痢黑散子方
枣子（去核，五十个） 北矾（一两，作小块子，每一个枣子入一块矾，麻皮缠定，烧留性，冷后用）
上件为末。每服半钱，水调下。赤者，更入好茶半钱。白者不用。
《婴童宝鉴》治小儿赤白痢宣连丸方
宣连（为末，用鸡清搜作饼子，炙令黄，一两） 木香（茱萸炒令黄，一分）
上件为末，面糊为丸如萝卜子大。饭饮吞下十丸。

上四味为末，炼蜜丸桐子大。每服十丸至十五丸。白痢，艾汤下。赤痢，陈皮汤下。三服见效。小儿，丸

上为末，炼蜜为丸绿豆大。粥饮下十丸。
《惠眼观证》阿胶散 治赤白痢方。
阿胶（蚌粉炒泡起住） 宣连 木香 肉豆蔻仁 诃子肉 甘草（炙。以上各一分） 石榴皮 朱砂 白矾（飞过。
各一钱）
上为细末，每服一钱，饭饮调下。
《刘氏家传》治小儿便赤白痢，日夜无度，腹痛不思饮食。大效如圣散方
御米壳 阿胶（麸炒） 绵黄 （炙） 人参 甘草（半炙半生）
上为锉散。每服一大钱，水五分盏，煎三分，去滓温服。
《张氏家传》如圣散 治下痢，或赤或白，不以久新，一服取效。男子、妇人、小儿悉皆治之。
罂粟壳（一两，赤痢蜜炙一半，白痢干炙一半） 陈橘皮（赤痢炙一半，白痢焙一半，半两） 甘草（赤痢炙一半，
白痢焙一半，二钱半）
如下痢赤白，二药相合而服。
上为细末。每服二大钱，先放药于盏内，用百沸汤浸之，急用一盏盖合，勿令透气，等少时药微温，将清
者服。候一两刻，再用百沸汤浸前滓，根据前服一次，不拘时候。服药毕。忌一切生冷，可吃粥五、七日为妙。
《张氏家传》软红丸 治伤寒结胸，烦躁吐逆，不省人事及泄痢日无度数；小儿五疳八痢，羸瘦焦黄，赤白痢。
此药能取虚中积，不动脏腑，性极平善。老人、小儿及久病积毒，转取不效，肌肤困弱等。宋学士方。
乳香（研） 砂（飞） 轻粉 黄丹（飞） 粉霜（各一两） 巴豆（去皮，不出油，二十一个）
上再研匀细，以黄蜡半两熬汁，丸如梧桐子大，朱砂为衣。常服三丸至五丸，乳香汤下。
《张氏家传》治一切酒食所伤，心腹大痛，呕逆恶心，全不思饮食，暑月伤生冷果木；兼磨去远年、近日积块，
并治赤白痢。小丁香丸方
丁香 肉豆蔻 五灵脂（与众药同研方可用。各一两） 黑豆（不去皮，磨成极细末，十两） 巴豆（长针穿，灯
上烧八、九分熟，存性，罐子内煨，教烟绝，研细，竹纸出尽油，秤一两）
上件为细末，沸汤调豆末一半和药，入臼内捣尤佳，丸如黄米大。每服五、七丸至十丸，量大人、小儿加
减常服，熟水下。伏暑伤冷，用桃枝汤下积滞，临卧十丸。赤痢，甘草汤下。白痢，干姜汤下。各忌热物少时。
《庄氏家传》小儿赤白痢姜橘散方
干姜（末） 青橘皮（末） 好蜡茶（末。各等分）
上为细末，匀。每服一钱，米饮下，不计时候。
《庄氏家传》治小儿、大人感阴冷、伏热泻痢。紫金散方
黄连（一两，锉如茱萸细，用茱萸一两同炒，令紫黑色，去茱萸不用）
上为末，猪胆为丸，大小任便。未断乳小儿可粟米大十丸，加至二十丸，米饮下。或大人伏暑冲热，即茱
萸倍之为末，而用米饮调下。或小儿大假泻，亦倍茱萸。此以意观冷热增减茱萸也。常服大消疳积，当为丸
服。遇急病散服。
《孔氏家传》治赤白下痢、骨立者方。
上用地榆一斤，水三升，煮取升半，去滓再煎如稠饧，绞滤，空腹服。
《吉氏家传》治水泻、赤白痢。茴香散方
茴香 橘皮（炒） 陈紫苏（各半钱） 良姜 甘草 石榴皮（去白。各一分）
上焙末，米饮调下半钱。
《吉氏家传》赤白痢方。
上用杨梅 为末，白汤调下。
《吉氏家传》治赤白痢香连丸方
黄连 木香 诃子皮（各一两） 豆蔻（二个） 子芩（半两）
上末，蜜丸绿豆大。空心，煎醋浆汤下。大人十丸，小儿五丸。空心，日午再服，煎姜蜜汤下。
《吉氏家传》治诸般痢及赤白疳痢等疾方。

上件为末，用熔黄蜡丸。大人、小儿随年服。赤痢艾汤下。白痢甘草汤下。

长沙医者王 传银珠丸 治小儿、大人赤白痢，里急后重，腹痛，服诸药不瘥。此药孕妇亦可服。
海附子（捶碎，研，两个） 密陀僧（研） 定粉（研。各一两） 罂粟子（御米是，锉、焙、碾、罗，十个）
上四味为细末，糯米粽子角七个，研烂如膏，和为丸。大人服豌豆大，小儿服黍米大，煎苏木汤吞下两丸，
不拘时候。
长沙医者郑愈传赤龙丹 治冷热痢方。
大宣连（用巴豆同炒过，焦香为度） 吴茱萸（炒过，去梗叶。各一两）
上为末，醋面糊为丸绿豆大，黄丹为衣。每服一丸。赤痢甘草汤下。白痢白姜汤下。水泻痢陈米饮下。
《圣惠》灸法∶小儿痢下赤白，秋末脱肛，每厕腹痛不可忍者，灸第十二椎下节间，名接脊穴。灸一壮，炷如小麦
大。

以上药材用水三升煎煮至一升二合，分两次服用。加入牛黄如大豆大小五粒，研末后纳入药液中。
《婴孺书》治疗小儿赤白痢，经久不愈的犀角丸方
犀角（炙至焦黑） 赤石脂（各五分） 黄连 白头翁（各六分） 茜草 枳壳 榉皮（各三分） 女萎 黄芩 龙骨（各四分） 黄柏 甘草（炙） 干蓝（各二分）
以上药材研为细末，用蜂蜜制成丸剂。两岁、三岁的儿童每次服用二十五丸，大小如小豆，每日两次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量服用。
《婴孺书》治疗二百日大的婴儿患赤白痢，日夜排便五十次，此方效果极佳。
干姜 白术（各五分） 茯苓 甘草（炙。各四分） 附子（炮制，三分）
以上药材切碎，用水四升煎煮至一升，分四次服用。此方出自徐王效方，另查痢疾保中方。也有方剂含芒硝半合，牡丹三两去心，用水六升煎煮至三升，去渣后加入芒硝，分三次服用，此方出自《删繁方》。（《葛氏肘后方》、《徐王效方》治疗热痢的方剂相同。《外台秘要》治疗冷热痢也相同，但去掉附子只用二分。）

以上药材研为细末，用粟米饭制成米粒大的丸剂。每次用米饮送服十丸至三二十丸，日夜各四五次，饭前服用。
《婴童宝鉴》治疗赤白痢黑散子方
枣子（去核，五十个） 北矾（一两，切成小块，每个枣子放入一块矾，用麻皮缠紧，烧至存性，冷却后使用）
以上药材研为细末。每次服用半钱，水调服。赤痢者，再加好茶半钱。白痢者不用加茶。
《婴童宝鉴》治疗小儿赤白痢宣连丸方
宣连（研为末，用鸡蛋清调和做成饼状，烤至黄色，一两） 木香（吴茱萸炒至黄色，一分）
以上药材研为细末，用面糊制成萝卜子大小的丸剂。饭后用米饮吞服十丸。
《婴童宝鉴》治疗小儿赤白痢，疼痛的乳香丸方
乳香 朱砂 砒霜（各研末一钱匕） 巴豆（二十七个） 蜡（熔化煮巴豆至黑色，去掉豆子保留药物，半两）
以上药材混合均匀，加热揉匀，冷却后随时制成萝卜子大小的丸剂。每次服用一丸，白痢用干姜汤送服。赤痢用甘草汤送服。
《聚宝方》香萸丸 治疗赤白痢。
黄连 吴茱萸（各三分） 诃子皮（八个） 木香（一分）
以上四味药材研为细末，炼蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸至十五丸。白痢用艾叶汤送服。赤痢用陈皮汤送服。服用三次见效。小儿服用粟米大小的丸剂，每次七至十丸。
《三十六种》治疗赤白痢黄连木香丸方
黄连（炮制，呈紫色） 木香（炒。各一分） 诃子（炮制，一个）
以上药材研为细末，炼蜜制成绿豆大小的丸剂。用粥饮送服十丸。
《惠眼观证》阿胶散 治疗赤白痢方。
阿胶（蛤粉炒至鼓起） 宣连 木香 肉豆蔻仁 诃子肉 甘草（炙。以上各一分） 石榴皮 朱砂 白矾（飞过。各一钱）
以上药材研为细末，每次服用一钱，饭饮调服。
《刘氏家传》治疗小儿便赤白痢，日夜无度，腹痛不思饮食。大效如圣散方
御米壳 阿胶（麸炒） 绵黄芪 （炙） 人参 甘草（半炙半生）
以上药材锉成散剂。每次服用一大钱，用水五分盏，煎至三分，去渣温服。
《张氏家传》如圣散 治疗下痢，或赤或白，无论久新，一服见效。男子、妇人、小儿均可治疗。
罂粟壳（一两，赤痢用蜜炙一半，白痢用干炙一半） 陈橘皮（赤痢炙一半，白痢焙一半，半两） 甘草（赤痢炙一半，白痢焙一半，二钱半）
如下痢赤白，将两种药配合服用。
以上药材研为细末。每次服用两大钱，先将药放在盏内，用滚开水浸泡，迅速用一盏盖住，不要漏气，等片刻药微温时，将澄清的药液服用。等候一刻钟左右，再用滚开水浸泡前面的药渣，按照之前的方法再服一次，不拘时候。服药完毕。忌食一切生冷食物，喝粥五到七天为佳。

Boil the above ingredients in 3 sheng of water until 6 he remains. Divide into three doses.
*Yingru* treats pediatric dysentery and cold-heat yellow disease decoction formula:
Huangqi (Radix Astragali) Xiong (Radix Chuanxiong) Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) Renshen (Radix Ginseng) Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata with honey). Each 2 fen. Guixin (Cortex Cinnamomi) 1 fen.
Boil the above ingredients in 3 sheng of water until 1 sheng 2 he remains. Divide into two doses. Add Niu Huang (Calculus Bovis), five grains the size of a soybean, ground into powder, and mix into the decoction.
*Yingru* treats pediatric red and white dysentery that has persisted for a long time: Xijiao Wan (Rhinoceros Horn Pill) formula:
Xijiao (Cornu Rhinocerotis Preparated by roasting until charred) Chishizhi (Lapis Kaolinitis). Each 5 fen. Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis) Baitouweng (Radix Pulsatillae). Each 6 fen. Qiancao (Radix Rubiae) Zhike (Fructus Aurantii) Jupi (Cortex Zelkovae). Each 3 fen. Niwei (Herba Polygoni Avicularis) Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae) Longgu (Os Draconis). Each 4 fen. Huangbo (Cortex Phellodendri) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparated with honey) Ganlan (Indigo Naturalis). Each 2 fen.
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Form pills with honey. For children aged two or three years, administer 25 pills the size of a small bean, twice daily. Adjust dosage according to the child's age and size.
*Yingru* treats a 200-day-old infant with red and white dysentery, defecating 50 times day and night; this formula is highly effective.
Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae). Each 5 fen. Fuling (Poria) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparated with honey). Each 4 fen. Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata). 3 fen.
Chop the above ingredients. Boil in 4 sheng of water until 1 sheng remains. Divide into four doses. This formula is from Xu Wang Xiao Fang. Refer also to Li Bao Zhong. Another version contains Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas) 0.5 he and Mudanpi (Cortex Moutan) 3 liang (remove heart). Boil in 6 sheng of water until 3 sheng remains. Remove dregs, add Mangxiao, divide into three doses. This is from *Shanfan Fang*. (*Ge Shi Zhou Hou*, *Xu Wang Xiao Fang*) treat heat dysentery with the same formula. *Waitai* treats cold-heat dysentery similarly, but uses only 2 fen of Fuzi.
Qian Yi's Baifuzi Xianglian Wan (White Attapulgite and Coptis Pill) treats gastrointestinal Qi deficiency, sudden damage from breastfeeding/feeding, mixture of cold and heat, red and white diarrhea/dysentery, tenesmus, abdominal pain and cramping, frequent episodes day and night, and reduced appetite.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis) Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae). Each 1 fen. Baifuzi (Rhizoma Typhonii). Two large pieces.
Grind the above into powder. Form pills with millet rice paste, size of mung beans or broomcorn millet. Administer 10 to 20-30 pills per dose. Take before meals with clear rice drink. Four to five times day and night.
Qian Yi's Doukou Xianglian Wan (Cardamom and Coptis Pill) treats diarrhea, regardless of cold/heat or red/white, yin-yang imbalance, severe abdominal pain and borborygmus. Highly effective.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis stir-fried) 3 fen. Roudoukou (Semen Myristicae) Nanmuxiang (Radix Aucklandiae). Each 1 fen.
Grind the above into fine powder. Form pills with millet rice paste, size of rice grains. Take 10 to 20-30 pills with rice drink. Four to five times day and night, before meals.
*Tongying Baojian* treats red and white dysentery: Heisanzi (Black Powder Pill) formula:
Zaozi (Fruits Ziziphi Jujubae, pitted) 50. Beifan (Alumen) 1 liang. Cut into small pieces. Place one piece of alum inside each jujube. Wrap tightly with hemp fiber. Roast until carbonized (retain efficacy). Cool before use.
Grind the above into powder. Take half qian per dose, mixed with water. For red dysentery, add half qian of good tea. Not needed for white dysentery.
*Tongying Baojian* treats pediatric red and white dysentery: Xuanlian Wan (Xuan Coptis Pill) formula:
Xuanlian (Rhizoma Coptidis ground to powder, kneaded with egg white into cakes, roasted until yellow) 1 liang. Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae stir-fried with Evodiae Fructus until yellow) 1 fen.
Grind the above into powder. Form pills with flour paste, size of radish seeds. Swallow 10 pills with rice drink after meals.
*Tongying Baojian* treats pediatric red and white dysentery with pain: Rushui Wan (Frankincense Pill) formula:
Ruxiang (Resina Frankincense) Zhusha (Cinnabaris) Bisufang (Arsenic Trioxide). Each 1 qian bi (measure). Badou (Semen Crotonis) 27. La (Beeswax) 0.5 liang. Melt wax and boil Badou until black. Remove beans, keep the medicine.
Mix all ingredients evenly over heat. When cool, form pills size of radish seeds. Take one pill per dose. For white dysentery, take with Ganjiang Tang (Dried Ginger Decoction). For red dysentery, take with Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction).
*Jubao Fang* Xiangyu Wan (Evodia and Coptis Pill) treats red and white dysentery.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis) Zhuyu (Fructus Evodiae). Each 3 fen. Hezipi (Pericarpium Chebulae) 8. Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae) 1 fen.
Grind the above four ingredients into powder. Form pills with refined honey, size of paulownia seeds. Take 10 to 15 pills per dose. For white dysentery, take with Aiye Tang (Mugwort Leaf Decoction). For red dysentery, take with Chenpi Tang (Tangerine Peel Decoction). Effective after three doses. For children, make pills size of millet grains. Take 7 to 10 pills.
*San Shi Liu Zhong* treats red and white dysentery: Huanglian Muxiang Wan (Coptis and Aucklandia Pill) formula:
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis prepared, purple color) Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae stir-fried). Each 1 fen. Hezi (Fructus Chebulae prepared) 1.
Grind the above into powder. Form pills with refined honey, size of mung beans. Take 10 pills with porridge drink.
*Huiyan Guanzheng* Ejiao San (Donkey-hide Gelatin Powder) treats red and white dysentery.
Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini stir-fried with clam powder until puffed) Xuanlian (Rhizoma Coptidis) Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae) Roudoukou Ren (Semen Myristicae) Hezirou (Mesocarpium Chebulae) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparated with honey). Above each 1 fen. Shiliupi (Pericarpium Granati) Zhusha (Cinnabaris) Baifan (Alumen processed). Each 1 qian.
Grind the above into fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose, mixed with rice drink after meals.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan* treats pediatric red and white dysentery, frequent day and night, abdominal pain, loss of appetite. Da Xiao Ru Sheng San (Great Effect Like Sage Powder) formula:
Yumiqiao (Pericarpium Papaveris) Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini stir-fried with bran) Mian Huangqi (Radix Astragali prepared) Renshen (Radix Ginseng) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae half prepared, half raw).
Grind into coarse powder. Take one large qian per dose. Boil in 0.5 zhan of water until 0.3 zhan remains. Remove dregs and take warm.
*Zhang Shi Jia Chuan* Ru Sheng San (Like Sage Powder) treats dysentery, red or white, chronic or acute, effective after one dose. Treats men, women, and children.
Yingsuke (Pericarpium Papaveris) 1 liang. For red dysentery, half honey-roasted, half dry-roasted. Chenjupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) half liang. For red dysentery, half roasted, half baked. Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) 2.5 qian. For red dysentery, half roasted, half baked.
If dysentery is red and white, combine the medicines and take together.
Grind the above into fine powder. Take two large qian per dose. Place medicine in a cup, soak with boiling water. Cover immediately with another cup to prevent air leakage. Wait until slightly warm. Drink the clear liquid. After 15 minutes, soak the dregs again with boiling water and take as before. No specific timing restrictions. After taking medicine, avoid all raw and cold foods. Eating congee for 5-7 days is ideal.
*Zhang Shi Jia Chuan* Ruan Hong Wan (Soft Red Pill) treats cold damage chest binding, irritability, vomiting, unconsciousness, and dysentery without limit day and night; pediatric five wasting-thirst diseases and eight dysenteries, emaciation, sallow complexion, red and white dysentery.
This medicine removes internal accumulation without damaging organs. It is very mild and safe. Suitable for elderly, children, chronic illness with accumulated toxins, ineffective treatments, weak skin and muscles. Song Xueshi Formula.
Ruxiang (Resina Frankincense ground) Sha (Realgar processed) Qingfen (Calomelas) Huangdan (Lithargyrum processed) Fenshuang (Sublimated Arsenic Trioxide). Each 1 liang. Badou (Semen Crotonis peeled, oil not expressed) 21.
Grind uniformly fine. Melt 0.5 liang of yellow beeswax. Form pills size of paulownia seeds. Coat with Zhusha (Cinnabaris). Regular dose: 3 to 5 pills. Take with Ruxiang Tang (Frankincense Decoction).
*Zhang Shi Jia Chuan* treats all injuries from wine and food, severe heart and abdominal pain, vomiting, nausea, complete loss of appetite, summer heat injury from raw/cold fruits; also grinds away old and recent accumulations, and treats red and white dysentery. Xiao Dingxiang Wan (Little Clove Pill) formula:
Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli) Roudoukou (Semen Myristicae) Wulingzhi (Faeces Trogopterori grind with other medicines before use). Each 1 liang. Heidou (Semen Sojae Preparatum unpeeled, ground to extremely fine powder) 10 liang. Badou (Semen Crotonis pierced with long needle, roasted on lamp until 80-90% cooked, retain nature, simmer in jar until smoke ceases, grind fine, absorb oil with bamboo paper, weigh 1 liang).
Grind the above into fine powder. Mix half of the bean powder with boiling water and the medicine. Pounding in a mortar is better. Form pills size of broomcorn millet. Take 5, 7 to 10 pills. Adjust for adults and children. Take with cooked water. For latent summer heat and cold injury causing stagnation, take 10 pills before bed with Tao Zhi Tang (Peach Twig Decoction). For red dysentery, take with Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction). For white dysentery, take with Ganjiang Tang (Dried Ginger Decoction). Avoid hot foods for a short time.
*Zhuang Shi Jia Chuan* pediatric red and white dysentery Jiangju San (Ginger and Tangerine Peel Powder) formula:
Ganjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens powder) Qingjupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae viride powder) Hao Lacha (Good Wax Tea powder). Equal parts.
Grind the above into fine powder, uniform. Take 1 qian per dose with rice drink. No timing restriction.
*Zhuang Shi Jia Chuan* treats pediatric and adult Yin-cold and latent heat diarrhea/dysentery: Zijin San (Purple Gold Powder) formula:
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis) 1 liang. Chop fine like Evodia. Stir-fry with 1 liang of Zhuyu (Fructus Evodiae) until purple-black. Remove Zhuyu.
Grind into powder. Form pills with pig bile, size arbitrary. For nursing infants, make pills size of millet grains. Start with 10 pills, increase to 20. Take with rice drink. If adults have latent summer heat rushing upward, double the Zhuyu, grind to powder, and take with rice drink. If infants have severe false diarrhea, also double Zhuyu. This adjusts Zhuyu amount based on cold/heat observation. Regular use greatly reduces childhood malnutrition accumulation. Should be taken as pills. Use powder for emergencies.
*Kong Shi Jia Chuan* treats red and white dysentery with extreme emaciation.

Huixiang (Fructus Foeniculi) Jupi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae stir-fried) Chen Zisu (Folium Perillae dried). Each half qian. Liangjiang (Rhizoma Alpiniae Officinarum) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae) Shiliupi (Pericarpium Granati remove white part). Each 1 fen.
Roast and grind to powder. Take half qian mixed with rice drink.

Use Yangmei (Fructus Myricae) ground to powder. Take with plain boiled water.

Grind to powder. Form pills with honey, size of mung beans. On an empty stomach, take with vinegar rice soup. Adults: 10 pills. Children: 5 pills. On an empty stomach, take again at noon with ginger-honey soup.
*Ji Shi Jia Chuan* treats various dysenteries and red-white childhood malnutrition dysentery.
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis) Huangbo (Cortex Phellodendri select good quality, prepare). Each half liang. Taobai pi (Cortex Pruni Persicae alba) 1 fen. Hufen (Lead Carbonate roast) 1 liang. Mu Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli) 3.

Grind fine. Form pills with water-boiled thin paste, size ○. Take 7 to 10 pills, swallow with rice drink after meals.

Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum peel and tip removed) Badou (Semen Crotonis remove oil). Each 7. Baicaoshuang (Fuliginis Caulis Bambusae in Taenia fine powder) Huangdan (Lithargyrum) Huangla (Beeswax). Each 1 qian.
Grind the above into powder. Form pills with melted yellow beeswax. Adults and children take according to age. Red dysentery: take with Aiye Tang (Mugwort Leaf Decoction). White dysentery: take with Gancao Tang (Licorice Decoction).
Changsha physician Ding Shifa's transmitted Rushui Wan (Frankincense Pill) treats persistent pediatric red and white dysentery, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, and watery diarrhea.
Ruxiang (Resina Frankincense) 1 qian. Yangfen (Faeces Ovis) 20 grains. Badou (Semen Crotonis) Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum) Suosha (Fructus Amomi Rotundus). Each 21 grains. Wubeizi (Galla Chinensis) 2 qian.
Put all in a jar. Roast over charcoal fire. Grind to powder. Form pills with wine and beeswax. Take 10 pills per dose with Baijiang Gancao Tang (White Ginger and Licorice Decoction). Watery diarrhea: take with cold water.
Changsha physician Ding Shifa's transmitted Pingwei San (Peace the Stomach Powder) treats adult and pediatric watery diarrhea, weak stomach Qi, reduced diet, which may develop into red and white dysentery, emaciation, unbearable intermittent abdominal pain.
Dingpi (Cortex Dictamni stir-fried) 5.5 qian. Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae remove white part) Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae prepared). Each 3.5 qian. Baijiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens prepared) 1 fen. Rougui (Cortex Cinnamomi avoid fire) 2.5 qian.
Grind fine. Take 1 small qian per dose. Add salt to boiling water. Adjust for size.
Changsha physician Wang's transmitted Yinzhu Wan (Silver Pearl Pill) treats pediatric and adult red and white dysentery, tenesmus, abdominal pain, ineffective with other medicines. Pregnant women can also take this medicine.

White dysentery: take with Baijiang Tang (White Ginger Decoction). Watery diarrhea dysentery: take with aged rice drink.
