《圣惠》∶夫小儿嗽而呀呷作声者，由胸膈痰多，嗽动于痰上搏于咽喉之间，痰与气相击，随嗽动息，呀呷
有声。其咳嗽大体虽同，至于治疗，则加消痰破饮之药，以此为异耳。
茅先生∶小儿生下有中 嗽，周岁以上有此。因多吃盐、醋，热奔上胃致此。即下浑金丹（方见本门中）与吐下
涎；然后下匀气散（方见胃气不和门中）及雌黄丸（方见咳嗽门中）与服，即愈。
翰林待诏杨大邺问∶小儿咳嗽气粗者为何？答曰∶小儿脏腑虚细，因食肥腻热食及诸生冷，致冷热相增，
遂积痰涎结聚，冷热攻脾，壅闭不通，宿痰粘涎，肺经虚热生于膈上，喉中如锯，气喘闷绝，呕吐不快，面色
青黄。大约此疾，难逢妙药，积久不除，变成风病。
《玉诀》小儿咳嗽 候歌∶
咳嗽因风肺受寒，气伤咯血喘生涎。 腑热因风盛，嗽喘无时卧不安。
此候先治肺，后利膈下涎，如此治者，即无误也。
《玉诀》小儿咳嗽 候云∶因肺感寒，宜贝母丸、油衮丸。（方并见后）
《惠济》小儿 候歌∶
推来肺热风，一回发作气相冲。得名奶 为初候，龟背龟胸恐起峰。口闭不言涎作响，一冲双目柘黄
同。此根终久成残患，少有名方得断踪。
《圣惠》治小儿咳嗽，心胸痰壅攻咽喉，作呀呷声。射干散方
射干 麻黄（去根节） 紫菀（洗去苗土） 桂心（以上各半两） 半夏（半分，汤洗七遍，去滑） 甘草（炙微
赤，锉，一分）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，入生姜少许，煎至五分，去滓，入蜜半茶匙，搅令匀。不
计时候，量儿大小分减温服。
《圣惠》治小儿咳嗽，咽中作呀呷声。陈橘皮散方
陈橘皮（汤浸，去白瓤，焙） 桑根白皮（锉） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮
尖、双仁，麸炒令黄） 甘草（炙微赤，锉） 甜葶苈（隔纸炒令紫色。以上各一分）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分，去滓放温。量儿大小加减服之。
《圣惠》治小儿咳嗽喘急，作呀呷声。萝卜子散方
萝卜子（微炒） 麻黄（去根节。各一分） 灯心（一大束） 皂荚
子（十枚，煨，去皮） 甘草（炙微赤，锉，半分）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分，去滓，不计时候。量儿大小以意分减，温服。
《圣惠》治小儿咳嗽，喘急烦热，喉中作呀呷声。牛黄散方
牛黄（细研） 柴胡（去心） 栝蒌子（各一分） 蝉壳（微炒，半分）
上件药捣，细罗为散。每服以蜜水调下一字，日三服。二岁以上加之半钱。
《圣惠》治小儿心胸痰壅，咳嗽，咽喉不利，常作呀呷声。蝉壳散方
蝉壳（微炒） 半夏（汤浸七次，去滑） 甘草（炙微赤，锉） 汉防己（各一分） 桔梗（去
芦头） 陈橘皮（汤浸，去白瓤，焙。各半分）
上件药捣，细罗为散。每服以生姜粥饮调下一字。三岁以上加之半钱。
《圣惠》又方（太医局方以此治痰嗽名辰砂半夏丸）
半夏（汤浸七遍，去滑） 甜葶苈（隔纸炒令紫色） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄。
各一分） 朱砂（细研，水飞，半两） 五灵脂（半分）
上件药捣，罗为末，用生姜自然汁煮面糊和丸如绿豆大。每服煎麻黄汤下五丸，日三服。量儿大小以意加减。
《圣惠》又方
甜葶苈（一分，隔纸炒令紫色） 麻黄（去根节） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄。各半两）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分，去滓放温。量儿大小分减顿服。
《圣惠》治小儿肺藏热多，咳嗽喘急，喉中作呀呷声，宜服郁李仁丸方。
郁李仁（汤浸，去皮微炒，研如膏，三分） 川大黄（锉，微炒） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮尖、
双仁，麸炒微黄，研如膏。各一分）
上以大黄一味捣，细罗为散。同研令匀，入蜜少许，和丸如梧桐子大。每服以粥饮研破三丸服之，日三服。
量儿大小以意加减。
《圣惠》治小儿多咳嗽，咽中如呀呷声。桃仁丸方
桃仁（四十九枚，汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄） 琥珀（末） 甜葶苈（隔纸炒令紫色。各秤一分）
上件药，先捣葶苈、桃仁如泥，次下琥珀末，更捣令匀，丸如绿豆大。每服煎桑根白皮汤化破五丸服，日
三服。三岁以上，加丸数服之。
《圣惠》又方
上用大栝蒌一枚，白面搜瓤作饼子烧熟，却杵为末。每服以清粥饮调下半钱。量儿大小以意加减。
《圣惠》治小儿咳嗽，咽喉不利，状如呀者。贝母散方
贝母（焙微黄） 紫菀（洗去苗土） 麻黄（去根节。各一分） 麦门冬（去心，焙） 甘草（炙微赤，
锉） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄。各半两）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分，去滓。量儿大小以意分减，温服。
《博济方》治小儿瘕呷，咳嗽不止。肉汤丸
铜青 大黄 猪牙皂角（炒，并为末。各一分）
上件三味，同研令至细。用油饼面和为丸如小豆大。每服五、七丸。煎猪肉汤下，忌醋、咸。
茅先生治小儿 嗽浑金丹
巴豆（粉，不出油） 砒霜（末） 白丁香（末。各等分）
上为末。用皂角揉水浓煎膏，相合为丸如此○大。看儿大小，每服三丸、五丸，用鲫鱼淡煎汤吞下。掠出
延HT 小涎来，亦用匀气散补。（方见胃气不和门中。）
《婴孺》治少小咳嗽肺胀，咽中水声。九味汤方
细辛 桂心 阿胶（炙） 甘草（炙） 紫菀 款冬花（各二两） 半夏（四两） 生姜（三两） 蜜（二合）
上水一斗，先煮半夏及六升，去滓，下诸药蜜煮及升半。五岁尽服；六岁六合，酌之。《千金》亦以此治咳
逆喘息如水鸡声。
张涣桔梗汤方 治小儿咳嗽呀呷，咽膈不利。
桔梗（去芦头） 半夏（汤洗七遍，焙干） 紫苏叶（微炒） 石膏 甘草（炙。各半两） 皂荚（
烧炭存性，一分）
上件捣，罗为细末。每服一钱。水一盏，入生姜三片，煎至五分，去滓。放温，时时与服。
《九 卫生》青铜散 疗小儿瘕，呷涎、嗽，痫病。
海浮石 甘锅子（曾销银多者。各等分）
上同为细末。每服半钱，生粟米泔调下。不拘时候。
《玉诀》贝母丸 治小儿 。
贝母 天南星（姜汁制） 人参 茯苓 甘草（炙） 白附子（各等分） 皂角子（七个，炮）
上末之，炼蜜丸。每服五、七丸，薄荷汤吞下。
《玉诀》油滚丸 治小儿 及虫积。
雷丸 五灵脂（各一分） 巴豆（十五粒，取霜）
上末之，滴水丸。每三、五丸麻油滚过，井水吞下。
《惠眼观证》浑金丹 治大人、小儿 、咳嗽方。
黄丹 信砒（末。各抄二钱） 飞罗面（炒，一钱）
上再研极细，滴水为丸如此○大。每服三丸，用糖冷水五更初吞下。如天明不吐，再进一、二丸。小儿一丸。
《惠眼观证》甘瓜散 治小儿 。
瓜蒂 甘草（炙。各二钱）
上为末。每服一大钱，五更初用茶清调下，小儿半字。
《惠眼观证》治小儿 嗽。犀角散
犀角屑 人参 甘草（炙） 杏仁（各一两） 白术（一分） 肉桂（春夏一分，秋冬半两）
上为末。每服一大钱，水五分盏，煎两、三分，通口服，此药大效。儿小分减服。
《惠眼观证》内金丸 治小儿 、咳嗽。
鸡内金 雌黄（细研，水飞过，去水露，三日方使） 半夏（生） 延胡索
上各等分为末，以枣肉为丸如此○大。周岁三丸至四丸，灯心汤下。（与咳嗽门中茅先生雌黄丸同。
为各有牵引，故兼存之）
《张氏家传》治孩子瘕疾。
密陀僧（一分） 灵砂（半分） 轻粉（五钱匕）
上件三味细研，绿豆粉煮糊为丸如麻子大。空心，沙糖水研化三丸，儿小化一丸。
《王氏手集》治小儿瘕喘方。
上用精猪肉蘸蛤粉烧吃，不拘时候。日吃三两，指大一片子，瘕止。
《吉氏家传》治小儿气嗽作声。
麻黄（去根节，秤） 桔梗（苦者） 石膏 紫菀（各半两） 干姜 半夏（各半钱） 王母杖（一两） 杏仁（汤

鸡内金（七个） 黄丹（少许） 砒霜（半钱，生用） 豆蔻（四十九粒，汤浸，焙干为末）
上件研为末。豆蔻入三钱匕，滴水丸如○大。每服三丸至五丸，茶清汤下。儿小一丸至二丸。
《吉氏家传》治小儿呷病。
青矾（二两） 鱼茗子（七粒）
上末。每服半钱，茶点下。
《吉氏家传》又方
雄黄 雌黄 硫黄 信砒（各半分）
上件为末。每服一字，肉汁调下，空心，量大小服。
《吉氏家传》治奶 方。
天竺黄 蚌粉（炒）
上件等分研匀，蜜调，涂奶头与吃。
《吉氏家传》治小儿 。
雌黄（末，二钱） 砒霜（如使砒，须以豆粉拌之） 朱砂（各半钱） 山栀子（末，五钱）
上件面糊丸粟米大。每服三粒，生油冷水下。儿小一粒。
《吉氏家传》又方
砒 白丁香 黄丹（等分）
上件末，白饭丸粟米大。汤使如前，量儿大小服。
《吉氏家传》软肺丸 治小儿久年 。
衡砒（一钱） 豆豉（半两，蒸，去皮）
上为细末，汤浸蒸饼为丸如此○大。每服二丸至三丸，嚼鱼 吞下。
长沙医者郑愈传治呀呷嗽。
砒霜 黄丹（各一钱） 白丁香（二十粒） 白头面（二两）
上为末，滴水为丸如黄米大。每服一丸、二丸，量孩儿大小加减。如此○大，薄荷汤下。
长沙医者郑愈传治小儿、大人 嗽喘满，唾涎黄色及小儿奶 。千金散
川郁金（十个，生用） 半夏曲 青皮（去白。各一钱半） 巴豆（十粒，去皮、不出油）
上件为末。每服一字匕，用猪肉一片掺药，火上炙黄，任意细嚼，冷齑汁一呷送下。儿小少服。
长沙医者郑愈传治小儿伤风，喘嗽不住，脑子散。兼治瘕呷。
大黄（一分） 郁金（二钱）
上件二味，先以猪牙皂角煮一复时，取切片子，焙干为末；次入粉霜、脑子各少许，再同研令匀。每服一
字，沙糖水调下。量小儿肥瘦加减用之。
长沙医者刘之才传芫花散 治小儿 、喘嗽。
芫花（醋拌匀，炒干，黄色为度） 地龙（去土，微炒。各半两） 羊消花（一分）
上件同为末。半钱，鸡子清少许，蒸熟。临卧匙抄与孩儿服。
（附）
《圣惠方》：小儿咳嗽发出呀呷声的，是由于胸膈间痰多，咳嗽时触动痰液，痰气在咽喉之间相互搏击，随着咳嗽的动作和气息的起伏，发出呀呷的声音。其咳嗽的大致机理虽然相同，但在治疗上，则需加入消痰、破饮的药物，以此作为区别。
茅先生：小儿出生后就有中满嗽，周岁以上的也有此病。这是因为多吃盐、醋，热气奔涌到胃部导致的。先用下浑金丹（方剂见本门中）来催吐和下泻涎沫；然后用匀气散（方剂见胃气不和门中）及雌黄丸（方剂见咳嗽门中）服用，即可痊愈。
翰林待诏杨大邺问：小儿咳嗽气粗是什么原因？回答说：小儿脏腑虚弱细小，因为食用肥腻热食以及各种生冷食物，导致冷热之气相增，于是积滞痰涎结聚，冷热攻冲脾胃，壅塞闭阻不通，宿存的痰粘涎，肺经虚热生于膈上，喉中声音如锯木般嘶哑，气喘胸闷欲绝，呕吐不畅，面色青黄。大概这种病，很难遇到妙药，如果积久不除，会转变为风病。
《玉诀》小儿咳嗽候歌：
咳嗽因风肺受寒，气伤咯血喘生涎。腑热因风盛，嗽喘无时卧不安。

以上将大黄一味捣碎，细筛为散。与郁李仁、杏仁膏混合均匀，加入少许蜂蜜，和丸如梧桐子大。每次用粥饮研破三丸服用，每日三次。根据孩子大小酌情加减。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿多咳嗽，咽中如呀呷声。桃仁丸方
桃仁（四十九枚，汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄） 琥珀（末） 甜葶苈（隔纸炒令紫色。各秤一分）
以上药物，先将葶苈、桃仁捣如泥状，再加入琥珀末，继续捣匀，丸如绿豆大。每次用煎好的桑根白皮汤化开五丸服用，每日三次。三岁以上的，增加丸数服用。
《圣惠方》又一方
以上用大栝蒌一枚，用白面包裹瓤部做成饼子烧熟，再杵为末。每次用清粥饮调服半钱。根据孩子大小酌情加减。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿咳嗽，咽喉不利，状如呀呷者。贝母散方
贝母（焙微黄） 紫菀（洗去苗土） 麻黄（去根节。各一分） 麦门冬（去心，焙） 甘草（炙微赤，锉） 杏仁（汤浸，去皮尖、双仁，麸炒微黄。各半两）

《博济方》治疗小儿瘕呷，咳嗽不止。肉汤丸
铜青 大黄 猪牙皂角（炒，并为末。各一分）
以上三味，同研至极细。用油饼面和为丸如小豆大。每次服五、七丸。煎猪肉汤送下，忌醋、咸。

巴豆（粉，不出油） 砒霜（末） 白丁香（末。各等分）
以上为末。用皂角揉水浓煎膏，混合为丸如○大。看孩子大小，每次服三丸、五丸，用鲫鱼淡煎汤吞下。掠出延HT 小涎来，亦用匀气散补。（方见胃气不和门中。）

川郁金（十个，生用） 半夏曲 青皮（去白。各一钱半） 巴豆（十粒，去皮、不出油）
以上为末。每次服一字匕，用猪肉一片掺药，火上炙黄，任意细嚼，冷齑汁一呷送下。儿小少服。

*Shenghui Fang*: When a child coughs and makes a "ya-xia" (wheezing/gurgling) sound, it is caused by excessive phlegm in the chest and diaphragm. The cough agitates the phlegm, which collides with qi between the throat and windpipe. As the phlegm and qi strike each other, following the movement of the cough and breath, the ya-xia sound is produced. Although the general mechanism of coughing is similar, treatment differs by adding herbs that resolve phlegm and break up fluid retention.
Master Mao: Some children are born with "zhong-man sou" (middle-fullness cough), and those over one year old may also have this condition. It is caused by consuming too much salt and vinegar, leading to heat rushing to the stomach. First, administer Hun Jin Dan (see section on this topic) to induce vomiting and purge saliva; then administer Yun Qi San (see section on Stomach Qi Disharmony) and Ci Huang Wan (see section on Cough). This will lead to recovery.
Yang Daye, Hanlin Daizhao, asked: Why do children cough with rough breathing? The answer is: Children's zang-fu organs are weak and delicate. Consuming fatty, hot foods and various raw/cold foods causes cold and heat to increase each other, leading to the accumulation and aggregation of phlegm-saliva. Cold and heat attack the spleen and stomach, causing blockage and obstruction. Retained sticky phlegm and lung meridian deficiency-heat arise above the diaphragm. The throat sounds like sawing wood, there is panting and suffocation, vomiting is uncomfortable, and the complexion is greenish-yellow. Generally, this disease is hard to cure with miraculous medicines. If left untreated for a long time, it transforms into wind disease.
*Yu Jue* Song on Pediatric Cough Syndrome:
Cough due to wind, lungs affected by cold; qi injured, hemoptysis, panting, and phlegm production. Fu-heat intensified by wind; cough and panting without cease, restless sleep.
Treat the lungs first, then benefit the diaphragm and drain phlegm. Treating in this manner ensures no error.
*Yu Jue* on Pediatric Cough Syndrome states: Due to lungs affected by cold, use Beimu Wan (Fritillaria Pill) or You Gun Wan (Oil Rolling Pill). (Formulas see below.)
*Hui Ji* Song on Pediatric Syndrome:
Pushing reveals lung heat and wind; each episode involves qi rushing upward. Named "nai [missing character]" as an initial sign; turtle back and turtle chest may rise like peaks. Mouth closed, unable to speak, saliva makes noise; once rushed, eyes turn yellow like lacquer. This root ultimately becomes a chronic disability; few famous prescriptions can cut off its trace.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric cough with phlegm congestion in the heart and chest attacking the throat, producing ya-xia sounds. Shegan San Formula:
Shegan (Belamcanda Rhizome) Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, remove roots and joints) Ziwan (Asteris Radix, wash away seedlings and soil) Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex, all half liang) Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, half fen, washed seven times in decoction, remove slipperiness) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted slightly red, chopped, one fen)
Crush the above ingredients and sieve coarsely into powder. Take one qian per dose, add one small cup of water and a little fresh ginger, decoct until five fen remains, filter dregs, add half a tea spoon of honey, and stir well. Take at any time, adjusting the dose according to the child's size, warm.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric cough with ya-xia sounds in the throat. Chenjupi San Formula:

Crush the above ingredients and sieve finely into powder. Take one zi per dose mixed with honey water, three times daily. For children over two years old, add half a qian.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric phlegm congestion in the heart and chest, cough, throat discomfort, and frequent ya-xia sounds. Chanqiao San Formula:
Chanqiao (Cicadae Periostracum, lightly fried) Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, soaked in water seven times, remove slipperiness) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted slightly red, chopped) Hanfangji (Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix, one fen each) Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, remove rhizome head) Chenjupi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium, soaked in water, remove white pith, dry. Crush the above ingredients and sieve finely into powder. Take one zi per dose mixed with fresh ginger porridge drink. For children over three years old, add half a qian.

Crush the above ingredients and sieve into powder. Use natural ginger juice to boil wheat paste and form pills the size of mung beans. Take five pills per dose with decocted Mahuang Tang, three times daily. Adjust according to the child's size.

Tinglyi (Descurainiae Semen seu Lepidii Semen, one fen, fried through paper until purple) Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, remove roots and joints) Xingren (Pruni Semen, soaked in water, remove skin and tips, twin kernels removed, bran-roasted slightly yellow. Half liang each)
Crush the above ingredients and sieve coarsely into powder. Take one qian per dose, add one small cup of water, decoct until five fen remains, filter dregs and let cool. Adjust dosage according to the child's size and take in one dose.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric lung heat excess, cough, panting, and ya-xia sounds in the throat. Yu Li Ren Wan Formula is suitable.
Yuli Ren (Prunus Japonica Seed, soaked in water, remove skin, lightly fried, ground into paste, three fen) Chuan Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma, chopped, lightly fried) Xingren (Pruni Semen, soaked in water, remove skin and tips, twin kernels removed, bran-roasted slightly yellow, ground into paste. One fen each)
Take only Dahuang, crush, and sieve finely into powder. Mix evenly with the pastes, add a little honey, and form pills the size of sophora seeds. Take three crushed pills per dose with porridge drink, three times daily. Adjust according to the child's size.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric frequent cough with ya-xia sounds in the throat. Tao Ren Wan Formula:
Tao Ren (Persicae Semen, forty-nine pieces, soaked in water, remove skin and tips, twin kernels removed, bran-roasted slightly yellow) Hupo (Electrum, powdered) Tinglyi (Descurainiae Semen seu Lepidii Semen, fried through paper until purple. Weigh one fen each)
First crush Tingli and Taoren into mud, then add Hupo powder and crush evenly. Form pills the size of mung beans. Take five dissolved pills per dose with decocted Sangbaipi Tang, three times daily. For children over three years old, increase the number of pills.
*Shenghui Fang* Another Formula:
Take one large Gualou (Trichosanthes Fruit), wrap the pulp in white flour, make into cakes, roast until cooked, then pound into powder. Take half a qian per dose mixed with clear porridge drink. Adjust according to the child's size.
*Shenghui Fang* treats pediatric cough with throat discomfort, resembling ya-xia sounds. Beimu San Formula:
Beimu (Fritillariae Bulbus, roasted slightly yellow) Ziwan (Asteris Radix, wash away seedlings and soil) Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, remove roots and joints. *Boji Fang* treats pediatric jia-xia (wheezing/phlegm-rattle) with incessant cough. Rou Tang Wan Formula:
Tongqing (Chloritum) Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma) Zhuya Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spina, fried, ground into powder. One fen each)
Grind the three ingredients together until very fine. Use oil cake dough to form pills the size of small beans. Take five to seven pills per dose with pork broth. Avoid vinegar and salt.
Master Mao's Hun Jin Dan for treating pediatric [missing character] cough:
Badou (Crotonis Fructus, powdered, oil not extracted) Pishuang (Realgar, powdered) Baixiangding (Vomeris Os, powdered. Equal parts)
Grind into powder. Use strong decoction of Gleditsia fruit water as paste, mix to form pills the size of ○. Depending on the child's size, take three to five pills per dose, swallowed with light boiled crucian carp soup. To draw out saliva, also use Yunqi San to tonify. *Ying Ru* treats infant cough and lung distension with water sounds in the throat. Jiwei Tang Formula:
Xixin (Asari Radix et Rhizoma) Guixin (Cinnamomi Cortex) Ejiao (Colla Corii Asini, roasted) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted) Ziwan (Asteris Radix) Kuandonghua (Farfarae Flos. Two liang each) Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, four liang) Shengjiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, three liang) Mi (Honey, two he)
Use one dou of water. First decoct Banxia with six sheng of water, filter dregs, add remaining herbs and honey, decoct until one and a half sheng remains. Five-year-olds take the whole dose; six-year-olds take six he, adjust accordingly. *Qianjin Fang* also uses this for cough with wheezing sounding like a water frog.
Zhang Huan's Jiegeng Tang Formula treats pediatric cough with ya-xia sounds and throat/chest discomfort.
Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix, remove rhizome head) Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma, washed seven times in water, dried) Zisuye (Perillae Folium, lightly fried) Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum) Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, roasted. Half liang each) Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spina, charred but preserved nature, one fen)
Crush and sieve into fine powder. Take one qian per dose. Add one cup of water and three slices of fresh ginger, decoct until five fen remains, filter dregs. Let cool and give occasionally.
*Jiu Wei Wei Sheng* Qingtong San treats pediatric jia, xia-saliva, cough, and epilepsy.
Haifushi (Pumex) Gangguozi (Pot residue from silver smelting. Equal parts)
Grind together into fine powder. Take half a qian per dose mixed with raw millet rinse water. Any time.
*Yu Jue* Beimu Wan treats pediatric [missing character].

Use lean pork dipped in clam powder, roast and eat. Any time. Eat three liang per day, one finger-sized slice. Jia stops.

First decoct Zhuya Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Fructus Spina) for one fu-shi (approx 2 hours), take slices, dry and grind into powder. Then add Fen Shuang (Calomelas?) and Naozi (Borneol) in small amounts, grind evenly. Take one zi per dose mixed with sand sugar water. Adjust according to child's fat/thinness.
