According to *Chao Shi Bing Yuan* (Pathogenesis of Diseases by Chao Yuanfang) regarding the manifestation of *Xiao'er Bai Dan* (Pediatric White Carbuncle): Initially, white carbuncle arises from heat-toxins combined with wind-heat, clashing within the blood vessels. Accumulation and steaming cause redness. If the heat is mild and wind predominates, the color appears slightly white.
