According to *Chishu Bingyuan* (Source Book of Diseases and Syndromes) regarding the condition of pediatric genital swelling turning into sores: Heat in the lower jiao (lower burner) of children causes hot qi to rush upward to the yin region, resulting in sudden swelling and closure of the glans penis, inability to urinate, and subsequently the formation of sores. Folk medicine attributes this to the fire caused by urine ash.

*Qianjin Fang* (Prescriptions Worth a Thousand Gold) formula for treating pediatric genital sores.
Take wild lamb's tooth root (Radix Salsolae Komaroffii), boil it thickly to extract the juice, and wash the affected area with it.

Another formula from *Qianjin Fang*.
Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian) and Lead Carbonate (Hufen) in equal parts.
Mix with fragrant balm oil and apply topically.

*Qianjin Fang* formula for treating pediatric genital sores.
Apply human fecal ash topically. Alternatively, apply dog fecal ash, dog bone ash, or horse bone powder. *Taiping Shenghui Fang* records using calcined horse bone ash.

*Qianjin Fang* formula for pediatric sores occurring between the thigh roots connecting to the scrotum, with discharge, starting with itching followed by pain. If self-healing occurs within ten or five days, but recurs after one month or half a month, persisting for years without healing:
Moxibustion is applied to the sore, the scab is scratched off, and the area is wiped dry with silk. Honey is then applied. A cake made of flour is baked; once cooked, tin foil is placed on the cake to warm the affected area via heat compression. Stop when cool. Repeating this twice leads to recovery.

*Waitai Miyao* (Essential Prescriptions of the Outer Cabinet) cites *Beiji Fang* (Emergency Prescriptions) for treating genital sores.
Calcined cat bone ash is applied topically, leading to recovery. *Qianjin Fang* states that dog bone ash should be used.

*Taiping Shenghui Fang* formula for treating genital sores.
Alumen Calcination (Bai Fan Hui) and Lead Carbonate (Hufen) (stir-fried, each 1 fen).
Grind the above ingredients together until fine and uniform. Mix with decoction from locust tree branches and apply to the child's scrotum.

Another formula from *Taiping Shenghui Fang*.
Take fox penis, roast until slightly yellow, pound into pieces, sieve into powder, and mix with water for topical application.

Another formula from *Taiping Shenghui Fang*.
Take turnip root (Radix Brassicae Rapae), pound and grind, then apply topically.

Another formula from *Taiping Shenghui Fang*.
Take male sparrow feces, mix with aged soy sauce, and apply topically.

Mr. Mao's formula for treating pediatric penile sores.
Earthworm (Pheretima Aspergillum) (calcined to ash), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) (powdered, each 0.5 liang), Calomel (Qingfen) (1 qian).
Grind all into powder and sprinkle dry onto the sores on the penis.

*Yingru Fang* formula for treating pediatric testicular swelling, high fever, and excess accumulation in the abdomen.
Rhei Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Peucedani Radix (Qianhu) (each 0.5 fen), Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) (roasted), Costi Fructus (Qingmuxiang), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao) (ground, wrapped in cotton, each 0.3 fen), Kansui Radix (Gansui) (0.2 fen), Moschus (Shexiang) (0.1 fen, separately ground).
Boil the above ingredients in seven sheng of water until reduced to one sheng and nine he. Administer three he per dose, four times daily and twice at night. Add powdered Moschus to the decoction after cooking.
