Chongyin (Double Gum) is caused by fetal heat accumulating in the Stomach, leading to swelling of the gum roots and unbearable pain. The treatment involves pricking the lesion with a needle, applying Yizi San (One-Character Powder), followed by administering Qingwei San (Stomach-Clearing Powder), which yields miraculous effects.
[Note] Chongyin refers to the condition where the infant's gum roots swell like blisters due to heat accumulation in the Stomach during the fetal period. The treatment method is to prick the area with a needle, wipe it clean with salt water, apply Yizi San externally, and administer Qingwei San internally; the swelling will subside naturally.
Yizi San (Formula see Xuan Yong section)
Qingwei San (Stomach-Clearing Powder)
Sheng Di Huang (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata)
Dan Pi (Moutan Cortex)
Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma)
Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix)
Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma)
Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum) [Dosage unspecified]
Use Deng Xin Cao (Junci Medulla) as a guide drug, decoct with water and take orally.
[Formula Song] Qingwei San treats stomach heat steaming upward, composed of Sheng Di Huang, Huang Lian, and Dang Gui Shen, along with Dan Pi, Sheng Ma, and Shi Gao; Deng Xin Cao must be added during decoction.
E Kou (Goose Mouth) presents with white debris covering the tongue and oral cavity, originating from heart-spleen heat accumulation rooted in the fetal stage. Treatment requires Qingre Xiapi San (Heat-Clearing and Splea-Draining Powder) combined with Baoming San (Life-Preserving Powder) for external application; if treatment is delayed, ulceration occurs and becomes difficult to cure.
[Note] E Kou refers to white debris filling the mouth and tongue, resembling a goose's beak. This results from heat-toxic qi from the mother's diet affecting the fetus, accumulating in the Heart and Spleen meridians, manifesting after birth on the tongue and mouth. The primary treatment is Qingre Xiapi San. Externally, use hair dipped in well water to wipe the mouth, then apply Baoming San twice or three times daily; once the white debris recedes, peace returns. If treatment is delayed, oral and lingual ulceration will occur, preventing breastfeeding, making recovery difficult.

[Note] Tu She refers to the tongue protruding and retracting slowly, caused by heat in the Heart meridian, resulting in symptoms such as facial redness, restlessness, thirst, and dark urine. The appropriate treatment is Xie Xin Daochi Tang.
