Guihun San (Return to the Soul Powder, from *Qianjin Fang*): Treats Gu poison located above the diaphragm. This medicine induces vomiting to expel the toxin.
Bai Fan (Alum: calcined alum 0.5 liang, raw alum 0.5 liang), Jian Cha (Jian Tea: each 1 liang).
Grind into a powder. Take 5 qian per dose, administered at once with fresh cold water. After approximately one shi (two hours), the toxin should be vomited out. If the taste of this medicine upon entering the mouth is sweet and not bitter or astringent, it indicates the presence of Gu poison.
Xiong Zhu Wan (Cinnabar and Realgar Pill, from *Qianjin Fang*): Treats Gu poison contracted through wine and food.
Xiong Huang (Realgar), Zhu Sha (Cinnabar: both separately ground using the water flotation method), Chi Jiao Wu Gong (Red-footed Centipede: slightly roasted, feet removed), Xu Sui Zi (Euphorbia Lathyris Seed: ground into fine powder, each 1 liang), She Xiang (Musk: 0.5 qian, separately ground).
Mix the above five ingredients evenly and grind again. Blend with rice porridge to form pills, sized like corn seeds. Take one pill per dose, swallowed with warm wine. The toxin will be expelled along with the medicine. It is especially auspicious to prepare this on the Dragon Boat Festival (Duanwu Festival).
Qianjin Taiyi Zhiming Wan (Thousand Gold Great One Life-Chasing Pill): Treats various diseases. Specifically for cases of sudden poisoning by malignant qi, causing abdominal distension and fullness, inability to breathe; accumulation in the heart and abdomen, abdominal swelling, hernia, and masses; undigested food retention; vomiting, hiccups, and alternating chills and fever; scrofula, Gu poison; and residual conditions after childbirth in women.
Wu Gong (Centipede: one), Dan Sha (Cinnabar), Fu Zi (Prepared Aconite Root), Fan Shi (Alum), Xiong Huang (Realgar), Li Lu (Veratrum Root), Gui Jiu (Podophyllum Fruit), Ba Dou (Croton Seed: 2 fen).
Process the above eight ingredients, blend with honey to form pills the size of sesame seeds. Take two pills per dose, once daily. For Yin-toxin Cold Damage, characterized by whole-body pain and cyanotic black fingernails, take one pill; sweating should ensue. Wrap two pills in cotton cloth and insert them into both ears. For dysentery, take one pill orally and insert one pill into the anus. For Gu poison, take two pills; if the toxin is external, mix with ointment and massage onto the affected area; if above the diaphragm, it induces vomiting; if below the diaphragm, it induces diarrhea. For sores, apply one pill topically, and the toxin will naturally discharge. For residual postpartum conditions, take one pill. For deafness, wrap in cotton cloth and insert into the ear.
Wuxiang San (Five Fragrances Powder, from *Qianjin Fang*): Treats toxic vapors and malignant nodules in the Lingnan region, as well as sudden swelling and ulceration caused by attacks from "Shegong" (an imaginary venomous creature mentioned in ancient texts) or similar toxins.
Jia Xiang (Clam Shell/Nautilus Shell, also known as Luo Jia Ye), Xun Lu Xiang (Frankincense), Ding Xiang (Clove), Chen Xiang (Agarwood), Qing Mu Xiang (Aucklandiae Radix), Huang Lian (Coptidis Rhizoma), Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix: each 4 qian), Huang Bai (Phellodendri Cortex: 6 qian), Xi Jiao (Rhinoceros Horn - *Note: Use substitutes in modern practice*), Ling Yang Jiao (Saiga Antelope Horn), Bie Jia (Tartaric Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum), Mu Li (Ostreae Concha), Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Gan Cao (Licorice Root), Wu (likely referring to a specific ingredient or typo for Wu Tou/Wu Mei contextually, but listed here as per text), Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae Fructus: each 4 qian; Evodiae Fructus specifically 2 qian).
Process the above sixteen ingredients according to standard methods. Administer 1 fang cun bi (a measure equivalent to a spoonful) with water, twice daily. Also, mix the powder with a small amount of water to wash the affected area. Additionally, mix the powder with egg white and apply it to the sores; change when dry.
Jie Shui Du Yinzi (Water-Toxin Resolving Decoction, from *Qianjin Fang*): Treats sudden poisoning from stream water toxins, where the fingers and toes of hands and feet become cold, potentially extending to the elbows and knees.
Wu Zhu Yu (Evodiae Fructus: soaked in hot water seven times, 2 liang), Sheng Ma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma), Xi Jiao (Rhinoceros Horn - *Note: Use substitutes in modern practice*), Ju Pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium: each 6 qian), Sheng Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens: 3 liang), Wu Mei Rou (Mume Fructus Flesh: 14 pieces).
