Treats hematochezia caused by internal heat. Or bleeding from hemorrhoids.
Grind raw Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) into powder, mix with honey to form pills the size of Euryale Seed (Qianshi). Take seven pills with clear soup; recovery occurs on the same day.

Treats all kinds of carbuncles, ulcers, and malignant sores. Early moxibustion at the onset is advisable.
When a person first feels the onset of Fabei (back carbuncle), before the swelling has fully formed, presenting as redness, swelling, and pain, cover the area with wet paper; the spot that dries first indicates the head of the abscess. Place a slice of single-clove garlic on the head (of the abscess), place a cake-like object (moxa cone) on top, or use four slices... Another moxibustion method: Apply this substance mixed with sesame oil externally. It is miraculous for sores and scabies caused by blood heat or blood deficiency.
Take one piece of Wannian Bing (perennial ice), wash it clean, grind into powder. For Yang Du (toxic heat syndrome), mix with child's urine to form a cake; for Yin Du (toxic cold syndrome), mix with wine to form a cake. Cover the affected area according to the extent of the toxicity.

Treats various swelling toxins. Also treats lumps in the Shaoyang meridian on the side of the neck, regardless of skin color changes, duration, or depth, whether red, hard, swollen, or painful.
Take one piece of raw Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma), peel it, and grind together with one seed of Bimazi (Ricini Semen) until uniform. Spread and apply to the affected area.

Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) (8 qian 3 fen), Shenghuang (Astragali Radix) (5 qian), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (1 qian 8 fen), Jinyinhua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos) (5 qian).
Decoct with Huangjiu (yellow wine) and take orally. Two doses result in recovery.
Another prescription:
Chaozhi (Stir-fried) Wubeizi (Galae Chinensis) ground into powder, mixed with vinegar to form a paste for topical application. Adding Baicaoshuang (soot from burning hundred herbs) is even better.
Another prescription:
Fresh Shanyao (Dioscoreae Rhizoma) mashed into a paste, applied to the area causes resolution. Alternatively, crush Luofan Cai (radish leaves/vegetable) and apply; changing when it becomes hot is also excellent.

Take one live Xiamawa (toad), press and fix it onto the sore. After half a shichen (approx. 1 hour), the toad will become unconscious. Place it in water to revive it. Replace with another and repeat the previous method. If fewer toads are available... (text fragmented), cover the sore.

Treats severe pain from various toxins, regardless of skin color changes, presenting as diffuse swelling with a shiny surface, named Gugutong (bone-attached carbuncle). Administer this formula quickly.
Fengfang (Vespa Nidus), Shetui (Ophioglossi Cutis), and Toufa (Capilli Humani) in equal parts. Process to retain their medicinal properties (charred/stored nature), grind into powder. Take 3 qian with wine.

For any patient suffering from carbuncles, ulcers, or Fabei (back carbuncle), regardless of age, Laifan Wan (Beeswax and Alum Pill) is suitable. Taking more than 1 liang of Laifan Wan yields no failure in efficacy. It is particularly effective in stopping pain without disturbing the Zang-Fu organs, saving countless lives.
Mingliang Baifan (Alumen) (1 liang) ground raw, mixed with melted Hao Huangla (good yellow beeswax) (7 qian). Form pills the size of Tungtzi (Catalpa seeds). Take 10 pills per dose, gradually increasing to 20 pills. Take with Shuishui (boiled and cooled water).
