陈紫山曰∶凡鹅口者，始生婴儿，自一月内外，至半岁以上，忽口内白屑满舌，而上 戴碍，状如鹅口，开而不
合，语声不出，乳食多难，或生于牙齿上下，名曰马牙，皆由热毒上攻，名虽异治则一也。
治法∶推上三关，退下六腑，分阴阳，打马过天河。再用扁银簪脚，将牙龈刮破出血，以软绢拭净，以陈墨涂之。
涂蔚生曰∶马牙系生黄色之小尖牙，与鹅口有异，余亦有治法见后。至其鹅口之推法，亦甚简略，须参用各种
凉法亦可。
陈紫山曰∶小儿热盛生风，风甚发搐，又甚则牙关紧急，而八候生焉。八候者搐搦掣颤反引窜视是也。搐者，
四肢收缩也；搦者，十指开合者；掣者，势如相扑也；颤者，横身鼓栗也；反者，身仰后面；引者，臂者开合；
穿者，目直视似怒；视者，露睛不和也，是为八候，其症风寒热是也。又曰∶小儿初生下地，或软或硬，目不开，
光不全，不啼哭，人事不省，乃胎受惊也。
治法∶推上三关，分阴阳，脾上，运五经纹，飞经走气，天门入虎口，六腑，揉斗肘。
陈紫山曰∶小儿落地眼红口撮，头偏左右，手捏拳头，哭声不出，是胎热毒，或月内受风，痰壅心口也。
治法∶三关，运八卦，四横纹，苍龙摆尾，揉脐及龟尾，中指节，内劳宫，板门掐之。青筋缝上，灯火七 。气
急脐上七 。
陈紫山曰∶小儿身热，气吼，口渴眼红，四肢掣跳，乃伤食感寒而成也。
治法∶推三关，分阴阳，肺经，推二扇门。如出汗推六腑，清心经，水底捞明月。
陈紫山曰∶肚响食呕，四肢厥逆，人事昏迷，是胃经伤食受寒也。
治法∶推三关，分阴阳，肺经，脾土，运八卦，四横纹，飞经走气，凤凰单展翅。
陈紫山曰∶面青唇白，肚响作泻，眼翻作渴，人事昏迷，四肢六腑有寒。乃乳食所伤也。治法∶推上三关，
分阴阳，大肠，
脾土，二扇门，黄蜂入洞，揉脐及龟尾，脐周遭七 。
陈紫山曰∶寒热不均，气喘眼白，饮食不进，青筋满肚，肚腹胀泻，皆因食后感寒，脾不能运也。
治法∶推三关，肺经，脾土，运八卦，分阴阳，揉脐，向导穴，按弦搓摩，凤凰单展翅，用灯火肚上青
筋四 。
涂蔚生曰∶以上四症，乃肠胃虚寒生风，慢风之一种也。故均主用温补脾胃，以回元阳。但其所用推三关
法，是专指男儿说，女儿宜用六腑。
陈紫山曰∶气吼肚胀，饮食不进，人瘦体弱，肚起青筋，眼黄手软，大小便不通，肚胀疼痛，此乃六腑之有
寒也。
治法∶推三关，脾土，大肠，运土入水，肺经，补肾水，揉脐及龟尾。脐周遭灯火七 ，再用艾绒灸热一围
扎脐上。
陈紫山曰∶四肢乱舞，头向上，此因先受风热，后被惊吓之症也。
治法∶推三关，肺经，运八卦，脾土，清天河水，大肠，飞经走气。以灯火爆四肢肩膊喉下脐下各一 。
陈紫山曰∶吐白沫，四肢摆动，嘴歪常搭，眼翻白珠，此肺经有风，脾经有寒也。
治法∶推三关，脾土，肺经，八卦，清天河水，运水入土，五经纹，补肾水，掐五指节三次，头弦搓摩。口角
上下，灯火四 。
陈紫山曰∶两眼向上，四肢反后，或两手垂下，眼黄口黑，人事昏沉，此乃水盛侮土。掐之觉痛者可治；不痛
者，不治。
治法∶推三关，肺经，四横纹，天门入虎口，揉斗肘，运水入土，飞经走气。
陈紫山曰∶日轻夜重，到晚昏迷，口角歪斜，四肢掣跳，口鼻气冷，此乃脾胃有寒之症也。
治法∶推三关，六腑，四横纹，运八卦，分阴阳，掐五指节，掐肾水，打马过天河。
陈紫山曰∶口眼歪斜，四肢搐掣，痰壅心迷，人事不省，其状如死，乃肝经积热生风之症也。
治法∶推三关，六腑，肾水，清天河法，脾土，肺经，运五经纹，掐五指节，猿猴摘果，咬昆仑穴，推三阴
穴。（慢风从上往下。）
涂蔚生曰∶三阴穴，前贤具未注明何处。按夏英白之分阴阳法推测，当亦在手之小指边也。确否姑待高明匡正。
陈紫山曰∶面青唇白，四肢厥冷，人事昏迷，手足搐掣，眼慢痰壅；名曰慢风。此乃大病之余，吐泻之后，脾土
虚败，肝木从风以自动也。
治法∶先掐老龙穴，有声可治，无声不可治。次用艾灸昆仑穴，推三关，肺经，肾水，脾土，掐五指节，运五
经纹，运八卦，赤凤摇头，二龙戏珠，天门入虎口。用灯火手足心四 ，心口上下三 ，三阴穴，（慢风从下往上。）
陈紫山曰∶两目迷闭，哭声不止，面青眼黄，手眼望内掣者，乃肺经受风寒之症也。
治法∶三关，肺经，脾土，肾水，凤凰展翅，按弦搓摩，再以竹沥灌之。又以细茶、飞盐、皂角各末五分，水一
钟，黄蜡二分，锅内溶化，入前药末，为饼，贴心窝中即效。
涂蔚生曰∶竹沥太寒，宜酌用。即茶皂饼亦宜审慎。
陈紫山曰∶小儿眼向上，哭声号，四肢掣，口眼歪斜，鼻流清水，或衄血，此乃肺经受风，或食后感寒而致也。
治法∶三关，六腑，脾土，分阴阳，清天河水，肺经，八卦，揉五指，重揉大小天心。
又曰∶总筋青筋耳珠掐之，又将灯火脐上下提之。
陈紫山曰∶头仰后，四肢向后，眼翻或闭，腹胀，哭声不止，此乃肺经受风，积痰所致也。
治法∶推三天，肺经，脾经，八卦，清天河水，重揉手脚湾，内关中界，掐脐上下。
青筋缝上、喉下各三 ，又须重揉委中。书曰∶手足后伸头后仰，灸脐上下即安康。
陈紫山曰∶口中扯舌，四肢冷而掣，哭声不出，乃心经有热，睡中食乳，口角入风所致也。
治法∶推三关，六腑，分阴阳，运八卦，清天河水，（略推三关），多推肾水。如舌扯不止，灯火胸前六 。
涂蔚生曰∶既是热症吐舌，又何敢用灯火，医者可以审察。
陈紫山曰∶两手抓人，捏拳切牙，手望下，口望上，身寒热，皆因被吓伤乳，心热生风也。
治法∶推三关，脾土，阴阳，八卦。又在大指左右手足三湾掐之。再用灯火手心、太阳、眉心、脚心各一 。
涂蔚生曰∶此节证论，与方治不太符，用者宜审择。
陈紫山曰∶四肢掣跳，唇口青黑，肚胀青筋，此乃脏腑受寒之症也。

涂蔚生曰∶所谓四心，不知是手足心，抑是大小天心。但既是心热生痰，又何敢用灯火。
陈紫山曰；口吐沫，鼻流血，四肢软，好吃冷物，眼白不
哭，心脾有热，火盛痰壅之症也。
治法∶三关，六腑，清天河水，水底捞明月，分阴阳，运八卦，补肾水，赤凤摇头。
陈紫山曰∶眼翻切牙，手足一掣一死，乃心经受风，先寒后热，有痰之症也。
治法∶推三关，六腑，肺经，清天河水，脾土，运八卦，赤凤摇头。
将两手相合，共掐横纹。如不醒，大指头上掐之。上下气闭，人中掐之。鼻气无出入，吼气，寒热作渴，随
症治之。先掐承山，推眉心，再灯火手上手背皆二 。若切牙，将两手捻耳珠，
屈中指揉颊车穴，又运土入水。
陈紫山说：凡是鹅口疮，多见于出生一个月内外至半岁以上的婴儿。突然口腔内布满白色碎屑覆盖在舌面上，且向上隆起阻碍呼吸和吞咽，形状像鹅的嘴巴，张开而不能闭合，发不出声音，吃奶进食非常困难。或者在牙齿上下长出白点，名叫马牙。这些病症都是由热毒上攻所致，名称虽然不同，但治疗方法是一致的。
治疗方法：推上三关（前臂桡侧缘，自腕推向肘），退下六腑（前臂尺侧缘，自肘推向腕），分阴阳（掌根前后推），打马过天河（沿前臂正中自腕推向肘，并吹气）。再用扁银簪脚，将牙龈刮破出血，用软绢擦拭干净，涂上陈旧墨汁。
涂蔚生说：马牙是生出黄色的小尖牙，与鹅口疮不同，我也有治疗方法见后文。至于鹅口疮的推拿方法，也非常简略，必须配合使用各种清热凉血的方法也可以。
陈紫山说：小儿体内热盛而生风，风势严重则引发抽搐，更严重时牙关紧闭，从而产生“八候”症状。“八候”指的是搐、搦、掣、颤、反、引、窜、视。所谓搐，是指四肢收缩；搦，是指十指开合；掣，是指动作势如相扑般拉扯；颤，是指全身颤抖战栗；反，是指身体向后仰；引，是指手臂开合；窜，是指目光直视似愤怒状；视，是指眼睛露睛且神志不和。这就是八候，其病因属于风寒热邪所致。又说：小儿刚出生落地时，身体或软或硬，眼睛不睁开，目光不全，不啼哭，人事不省，这是胎中受惊所致。
治疗方法：推上三关，分阴阳，补脾土，运五经纹，飞经走气，天门入虎口，退六腑，揉斗肘。
陈紫山说：小儿落地时眼红口撮（嘴唇紧缩），头偏向左右，手握拳头，哭声不出，这是胎热毒气，或者是月内受风，导致痰壅在心口部位。
治疗方法：推三关，运八卦，推四横纹，苍龙摆尾，揉脐及龟尾（尾椎骨），掐中指节，按内劳宫，掐板门。在青筋缝处，用灯火灸七壮。气急者灸脐上七壮。
陈紫山说：小儿身体发热，气喘，口渴，眼红，四肢抽搐跳动，这是由于伤食兼感寒邪所致。
治疗方法：推三关，分阴阳，清肺经，推二扇门。如果出汗，则退六腑，清心经，水底捞明月。
陈紫山说：肚子响，呕吐食物，四肢厥冷，人事昏迷，这是胃经因伤食受寒所致。
治疗方法：推三关，分阴阳，清肺经，补脾土，运八卦，推四横纹，飞经走气，凤凰单展翅。
陈紫山说：面色青，嘴唇白，肚子响并腹泻，翻白眼并口渴，人事昏迷，四肢及六腑有寒。这是由乳食损伤所致。
治疗方法：推上三关，分阴阳，补大肠，补脾土，推二扇门，黄蜂入洞，揉脐及龟尾，在脐周围用灯火灸七壮。
陈紫山说：寒热不均，气喘，眼白发黄，饮食不进，腹部青筋暴露，腹胀腹泻，都是因为进食后感寒，脾脏不能运化所致。
治疗方法：推三关，清肺经，补脾土，运八卦，分阴阳，揉脐，向导穴，按弦搓摩，凤凰单展翅，用灯火灸肚上青筋四壮。
涂蔚生说：以上四种病症，是由于肠胃虚寒生风，属于慢风的一种。所以都主张使用温补脾胃的方法，以恢复元阳。但是其中所用的推三关法，是专指男孩而言，女孩宜用退六腑。
陈紫山说：气喘腹胀，饮食不进，人瘦体弱，腹部出现青筋，眼黄手软，大小便不通，腹胀疼痛，这是六腑有寒所致。
治疗方法：推三关，补脾土，补大肠，运土入水，清肺经，补肾水，揉脐及龟尾。在脐周围用灯火灸七壮，再用艾绒灸热一圈扎在脐上。
陈紫山说：四肢乱舞，头向后仰，这是因为先受风热，后又受到惊吓的病症。
治疗方法：推三关，清肺经，运八卦，补脾土，清天河水，补大肠，飞经走气。用灯火爆灸四肢、肩膊、喉下、脐下各一壮。
陈紫山说：吐白沫，四肢摆动，嘴歪常搭（嘴角下垂），眼翻白珠，这是肺经有风，脾经有寒所致。
治疗方法：推三关，补脾土，清肺经，运八卦，清天河水，运水入土，运五经纹，补肾水，掐五指节三次，头弦搓摩。在口角上下用灯火灸四壮。
陈紫山说：两眼向上翻，四肢向后反张，或者两手垂下，眼黄口黑，人事昏沉，这是水盛侮土（肾水泛滥克制脾土）。掐之觉痛者可治；不痛者，不治。
治疗方法：推三关，清肺经，推四横纹，天门入虎口，揉斗肘，运水入土，飞经走气。
陈紫山说：白天轻晚上重，到了晚上昏迷，口角歪斜，四肢抽搐跳动，口鼻气息寒冷，这是脾胃有寒的病症。
治疗方法：推三关，退六腑，推四横纹，运八卦，分阴阳，掐五指节，掐肾水，打马过天河。
陈紫山说：口眼歪斜，四肢抽搐，痰壅心迷，人事不省，其状像死了一样，这是肝经积热生风的病症。
治疗方法：推三关，退六腑，补肾水，清天河法，补脾土，清肺经，运五经纹，掐五指节，猿猴摘果，咬昆仑穴，推三阴穴。（慢风推拿方向从上往下。）
涂蔚生说：三阴穴，前贤都没有注明具体位置。根据夏英白的分阴阳法推测，应该也在手的小指边。是否确切，暂待高明人士匡正。
陈紫山说：面色青，嘴唇白，四肢厥冷，人事昏迷，手足抽搐，眼睑迟缓，痰多壅盛；名叫慢风。这是大病之后，吐泻之后，脾土虚败，肝木随风自动所致。
治疗方法：先掐老龙穴，有声可治，无声不可治。其次用艾灸昆仑穴，推三关，清肺经，补肾水，补脾土，掐五指节，运五经纹，运八卦，赤凤摇头，二龙戏珠，天门入虎口。用灯火灸手足心四壮，心口上下三壮，三阴穴。（慢风推拿方向从下往上。）
陈紫山说：两目迷离闭合，哭声不止，面青眼黄，手眼向内抽搐，这是肺经受风寒的病症。
治疗方法：推三关，清肺经，补脾土，补肾水，凤凰展翅，按弦搓摩，再以竹沥灌服。又用细茶、飞盐、皂角各五分末，水一杯，黄蜡二分，在锅内溶化，加入前述药末，做成饼，贴在心窝中即见效。
陈紫山说：小儿眼睛向上翻，哭声号叫，四肢抽搐，口眼歪斜，鼻流清水，或者流鼻血，这是肺经受风，或者进食后感寒所致。
治疗方法：推三关，退六腑，补脾土，分阴阳，清天河水，清肺经，运八卦，揉五指，重揉大小天心。
又说：总筋、青筋、耳珠处掐之，又将灯火在脐上下提灸。
陈紫山说：头向后仰，四肢向后伸展，眼翻或闭，腹胀，哭声不止，这是肺经受风，积痰所致。
治疗方法：推三天（应为三关），清肺经，清脾经，运八卦，清天河水，重揉手脚湾（肘膝关节），内关中界，掐脐上下。
在青筋缝上、喉下各灸三壮，又须重揉委中穴。书上说：手足后伸头后仰，灸脐上下即可安康。
陈紫山说：口中扯舌，四肢冷而抽搐，哭声不出，这是心经有热，睡中吃奶，口角进风所致。

陈紫山说：手足抽搐跳动，口眼俱闭，大叫一声，形如死状，这是心热生痰，症状类似急风。
治疗方法：推三关；清肺经，退六腑，清天河水，水底捞明月，飞经走气，补脾土。如果呕吐，四心用灯火各灸一壮。
涂蔚生说：所谓的四心，不知是指手足心，还是指大小天心。但既然是心热生痰，怎么敢用灯火灸。
陈紫山说：口吐白沫，鼻流血，四肢软，喜欢吃冷物，眼白不哭，这是心脾有热，火盛痰壅的病症。

Chen Zishan said: Regarding "Goose Mouth" (E Kou, a condition characterized by white patches in the infant's mouth), it typically occurs in infants from one month to over half a year of age. Suddenly, the oral cavity becomes covered with white debris on the tongue, which protrudes upwards causing obstruction, resembling the beak of a goose. The mouth opens but cannot close, voice is lost, and feeding is difficult. Alternatively, white spots may appear above or below the teeth, known as "Horse Teeth" (Ma Ya). All these conditions are caused by heat-toxins attacking upwards. Although the names differ, the treatment principles are the same.
Treatment method: Push Up Three Gates (Tui Shang San Guan, pushing along the radial border of the forearm from wrist to elbow), Retreat Down Six Fu Organs (Tui Xia Liu Fu, pushing along the ulnar border from elbow to wrist), Divide Yin and Yang (Fen Yin Yang, pushing back and forth at the palm base), and Beat the Horse Across the Heavenly River (Da Ma Guo Tian He, pushing up the midline of the forearm while blowing air). Then, use the flat end of a silver hairpin to scrape the gums until bleeding occurs, wipe clean with soft silk, and apply old ink.
Tu Weisheng said: "Horse Teeth" refers to small yellow pointed teeth growing out, which differs from Goose Mouth. I have other treatments described later. As for the massage techniques for Goose Mouth, they are very brief; it is necessary to combine them with various cooling methods.
Chen Zishan said: When children have excessive internal heat generating wind, severe wind leads to convulsions. If even more severe, the jaw becomes rigid, resulting in the "Eight Signs" (Ba Hou). The Eight Signs are: Chu (twitching), Nuo (clenching), Che (pulling/tugging), Chan (trembling), Fan (arching back), Yin (stretching arms), Chuan (darting eyes), and Shi (staring). Chu refers to the contraction of limbs; Nuo refers to the opening and closing of fingers; Che refers to movements like wrestling; Chan refers to whole-body trembling; Fan refers to the body arching backward; Yin refers to the opening and closing of arms; Chuan refers to staring straight ahead angrily; Shi refers to staring with eyes partially open and disordered spirit. These constitute the Eight Signs, caused by wind-cold-heat pathogens. Furthermore, when a newborn lands, if the body is either too soft or too hard, eyes do not open, vision is incomplete, there is no crying, and consciousness is absent, this is due to fright received in the womb.
Treatment method: Push Up Three Gates, Divide Yin and Yang, Tonify Spleen Earth (Bu Pi Tu), Rotate Five Meridian Lines (Yun Wu Jing Wen), Fly Meridians and Move Qi (Fei Jing Zou Qi), Heaven's Gate Entering Tiger's Mouth (Tian Men Ru Hu Kou), Retreat Six Fu Organs, and Rub Dou Elbow (Rou Dou Zhou).
Chen Zishan said: If a newborn has red eyes, puckered lips, head tilted left or right, clenched fists, and no cry, this is fetal heat-toxin, or wind invasion within the first month causing phlegm stagnation in the heart region.
Treatment method: Push Three Gates, Rotate Bagua (Eight Trigrams), Push Four Horizontal Lines (Si Heng Wen), Green Dragon Swings Tail (Cang Long Bai Wei), Rub Umbilicus and Turtle Tail (Gui Wei), Pinch Middle Finger Joint, Press Inner Laogong (Nei Lao Gong), and Pinch Banmen (Ban Men). On the blue vein lines, apply moxa/fire-lamp therapy seven times. For rapid breathing, apply seven times above the umbilicus.
Chen Zishan said: If a child has fever, wheezing, thirst, red eyes, and limb twitching/jumping, it is caused by food retention combined with cold invasion.
Treatment method: Push Three Gates, Divide Yin and Yang, Clear Lung Meridian (Qing Fei Jing), Push Two Door Gates (Er Feng Men). If sweating occurs, Retreat Six Fu Organs, Clear Heart Meridian (Qing Xin Jing), and Retrieve the Bright Moon from the Bottom of the Water (Shui Di Lao Ming Yue).
Chen Zishan said: If the belly rumbles, vomiting occurs, limbs are cold, and consciousness is lost, it is due to Stomach Meridian injury from food retention and cold.
Treatment method: Push Three Gates, Divide Yin and Yang, Clear Lung Meridian, Tonify Spleen Earth, Rotate Bagua, Push Four Horizontal Lines, Fly Meridians and Move Qi, Phoenix Spreads Single Wing (Feng Huang Dan Zhan Chi).
Chen Zishan said: If the face is cyan, lips pale, belly rumbles with diarrhea, eyes roll back with thirst, consciousness is lost, and limbs and Six Fu organs are cold, it is injured by milk and food.
Treatment method: Push Up Three Gates, Divide Yin and Yang, Tonify Large Intestine (Bu Da Chang), Tonify Spleen Earth, Push Two Door Gates, Yellow Bee Enters Cave (Huang Feng Ru Dong), Rub Umbilicus and Turtle Tail, apply fire-lamp therapy seven times around the umbilicus.
Chen Zishan said: Uneven cold and heat, wheezing, yellowish whites of eyes, loss of appetite, fullness of blue veins in the belly, abdominal distension and diarrhea, are all due to cold invasion after eating, where the Spleen fails to transport.
Treatment method: Push Three Gates, Clear Lung Meridian, Tonify Spleen Earth, Rotate Bagua, Divide Yin and Yang, Rub Umbilicus, Guide Star Acupoint (Xiang Dao Xue), Press Strings and Rub (An Xian Cuo Mo), Phoenix Spreads Single Wing, apply fire-lamp therapy four times on the blue veins in the belly.
Tu Weisheng said: The above four symptoms are due to deficiency-cold in the intestines and stomach generating wind, a type of slow wind (Man Feng). Therefore, they should primarily use warming and tonifying methods for the spleen and stomach to restore primal yang. However, the method of pushing Three Gates mentioned here specifically applies to boys; girls should use Retreating Six Fu Organs.
Chen Zishan said: Wheezing and abdominal distension, loss of appetite, emaciation, weak body, appearance of blue veins in the belly, yellow eyes, soft hands, blockage of urination and defecation, abdominal distension and pain, are due to cold in the Six Fu organs.
Treatment method: Push Three Gates, Tonify Spleen Earth, Tonify Large Intestine, Transport Earth into Water (Yun Tu Ru Shui), Clear Lung Meridian, Tonify Kidney Water (Bu Shen Shui), Rub Umbilicus and Turtle Tail. Apply fire-lamp therapy seven times around the umbilicus, then use mugwort moxa heated and wrapped around the umbilicus.

Chen Zishan said: Cyan face, white lips, cold limbs, coma, limb convulsions, slow eyelids, and phlegm accumulation are named Slow Wind (Man Feng). This occurs after serious illness, following vomiting and diarrhea, where Spleen Earth is deficient and failing, and Liver Wood moves spontaneously with wind.
Treatment method: First pinch Laolong Point (Lao Long Xue); if sound is produced, it is treatable; if silent, untreatable. Also, mix fine tea, flying salt, and gleditsia sinensis powder (each 5 fen) with one cup of water and 2 fen of beeswax, melt in a pot, add the powders, make into a cake, and apply to the heart pit for immediate effect.

Join both hands together and pinch the horizontal lines together. If not waking, pinch the tip of the thumb. For upper and lower qi closure, pinch Renzhong point. If no breath in/out from nose, wheezing, cold/heat with thirst, treat according to symptoms. First pinch Chengshan point, push brow center, then apply fire-lamp therapy twice on hands and back of hands. If teeth grinding, twist earlobes with both hands, flex middle finger to rub Jiache acupoint, then Transport Earth into Water.
