Renshen (Radix Ginseng), Jiegeng (Radix Platycodonis), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae, de-jointed), Gange (Radix Puerariae Lobatae), Baizhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, each 1 liang), Baijiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens, half liang). The above are ground into fine powder.

Madouling San (Aristolochia Powder): Treats coughing with rapid wheezing. Restlessness and oppression in the chest and diaphragm.
Madouling (Fructus Aristolochiae), Sangbaipi (Cortex Mori Radicis, 1 liang, sliced), Chuan Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae, half liang), Dengxin (Medulla Junci, 3 fen), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, 3 fen, honey-fried until reddish-brown, sliced).

Xingren Wan (Apricot Kernel Pill): Treats coughing with rapid wheezing. Hardness and distension in the abdomen and ribs. Difficulty in urination.
