Xingren Gao (Almond Ointment) [From Bao's Formula]
Soak almonds in almond decoction, remove skin and tips, grind finely. Filter through silk gauze to remove dregs. Mix with a small amount of Calomel and Sesame Oil. Highly effective for both adults and children.
Shuichen Gao (Water-Sinking Ointment)

Select good mulberry leaves, wash cleanly. Steam hot for one night. Dry the next day and grind into powder. Mix with water and take two Qian. Another method adds Saposhnikovia Root (Fangfeng).
Treats damaged sores affected by wind stroke. Also treats frostbite [From Zhouhou Fang]
Use Zanthoxylum Bungeanum (Qinjiao). Make dumplings with flour. Bake in ashes until hot. Then open the patient's mouth and seal the sore. Replace when cool. Another method removes closed ones. Wash with water.

Crush Vitex Root (Manjinggen) to extract juice. Pierce the sore and apply. After about three meals' time, the root emerges.
Treats various sores with chills, fever, toxicity, and bi-syndrome. Sores in cattle, horses, and livestock. Mouth worms.
Freshly crush Rhamnus (Shuli) and apply. Or mix with fat and apply. Both are effective. Shuli seeds are bitter. Harvest and dry. Steam nine times, soak in wine, and take. After three days, it induces bleeding and expels broken flesh.
